One of the best places for super delicious, crispy amazing french fries and for me it's the truffle mayo amongst so many other delicious varieties. The service, atmosphere and the people running this place are so warm but the quality and the quantity is true value for money. You can also now just sit outside and enjoy the fantastic view of Wyck they spoil you by serving it right super delicious

Top chip shop in Maastricht. The homemade bami balls and the tasty sauces are highly recommended.

My fries were great with special sauce. There are tables outside. The staff are very friendly, and you can sense a dangerously obsessive relationship with fries.

The fries were okay, large portions! - The cheeseburger was so greasy and dripping with grease, it went straight in the bin after the first bite! For my personal taste, that's just unacceptable... and for over €10, I definitely expect something different!

The fries are underwhelming and the Parmesan cheese / truffle mayo combination is an overhyped TikTok trend. The people working there are kind, quick and professional. The terrace is nice. For its place, in a touristic epicentre of Maastricht, the prize is very reasonable. It’s not bad, but I definitely won’t go back.

What a disgrace. Super unfriendly staff. A ridiculously long wait for your order. Ridiculously expensive. For what you pay here, you'd be better off quietly grabbing a table 4 doors down and enjoying a real dinner. You'd even get served kindly there instead of being yelled at by a grumpy old man.

I definitely asked for a normal portion, but I already thought it was expensive when paying. But you just get a standard large fries. Even though I was with two 10-year-olds. All three of us threw away at least three-quarters of the bag. When I mentioned it, the employee flatly denied that I had asked for normal portions. As if he couldn't see that I was ordering with children. An expensive joke, and I'm never coming here again.

First things first, the fries were absolutely delicious 😋. A huge portion of fries with mayo that I couldn't finish. As an extra, I also got a frikandel with mayo, ketchup, and onions – simply delicious. The staff were very friendly and gave me time to look at the menu. I'll definitely be back.

Got fries with satay sauce here; the employee was incredibly friendly and I was served reasonably quickly. I found the price quite steep, but it is certainly appropriate for the size of the portion. The fries were tasty and well-fried; the satay sauce, on the other hand, was not that good. Little to no flavor, and I found it a bit too syrupy. It was not my best experience.

I can't understand the positive reviews. The mayo and satay sauce were indeed of good quality. However, the main item, the fries, were not good. They were unsalted, hard (not crispy at all), simply not good. A shame.

I came here with the intention of trying some Dutch traditions. I managed to choose and receive my food fairly quickly. The portions were generous. You can eat inside (there are four seats) or on the sidewalk, where there are a few tables set up.

As a tourist: Excellent place to have dinner in Maastricht. I had the truffleburger and i can say it was awesome. Frites are so good. Glad to know this place while visiting Netherlands.

The fries looked soaked in grease, like you were eating re-fried fries, and the size of the fries made them look like leftovers. The currywurst was buried under sauce, so it barely tasted good. Fries and crispy chicken were acceptable, but the service is deal-breaker. I was treated with total disrespect by the staff just for asking a question about the menu. Food isn't worth being belittled over. I won't be back. I’d suggest going to Reitz, they’re always nice and fries are top.

The fries where okay, they are frozen but the price maches the quality, the portions are generous and good looking but with that much sauce you have to be fast at eating or they will eventually get soggy. We paid 14.30 for both.

Truly lovely fries and very friendly staff even when they were busy

Delicious and unusual croquettes, with plenty of vegetarian options. We especially liked the truffle mushroom and goat cheese croquettes. But the mac and cheese and the bamibal are also worth trying.

After 13 years in Maastricht, this is still the best fries in town! The fries are super delicious, everything is fresh, and you can tell the staff really cares about quality. They've been around for a long time, and the quality remains just as high as ever. You don't often find that in restaurants. I don't understand negative reviews, but people always find something to complain about. If you care about quality, you're also willing to spend a little more. There are plenty of simpler chip shops in the area, but it's not comparable.

Parmesan fries are delicious, you should definitely give them a try.

After the Dutch Mountain Trail, I had fries and sour meat here. After a 100 km hike in three days, this was truly absurdly delicious. I enjoyed every bite. It was quite expensive, but the line showed that it was truly good. There wasn't much room to eat, but luckily we were able to sit outside on a small bench.

For me, this is the highest number of stars for a Dutch chip shop. For 5 stars, you really have to go to Belgium.

Looking for a quick snack during a short visit to Maastricht, I stumbled into Friterie Wieck. This offers the typical ambience and food offerings of Friterien in the Benelux countries. The fries were definitely more than tasty and are a recommendation.

Unfresh fries a little hard and flavorless mayonnaise. Correct staff. Spicy pork is not spicy. I would say ok just for food.

Not worth a second visit for me. The fries are average ok. Frikandel was ok, fleece croquette also ok. But if I ask for mustard and seriously have to pay 90 cents for it, at a price of 3 euros that's pretty wrong. Mustard goes with Bitterballen or a croquette. Paying for the sauce is understandable when it comes to fries, but not when it comes to mustard.

Bad chip shop! Bad staff..fries worthless and expensive. You ask for truufel mayonnaise and fries and you get garlic sauce. If you ask for Coke Zero, you get regular Coke. If you ask for small fries, you only get large fries.

This Friterie has home-made fries. Made with Traditional Sea Meat or Goulash. You can of course also order Snacks here. This Friterie is not big, but cozy. Definitely the place to be in Wieck Maastricht. Located from Sint Servaas bridge on the right if you come from the center.
