Great snack bar, delicious food! Much better than a few years ago; you can definitely tell there's been a breath of fresh air in the restaurant! And the restaurant is clean and well-maintained. Great for kids, you can sit comfortably, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

A lot of money for what you get. The chicken nuggets were hard and the fries were undercooked, the hamburger wasn't quite cooked through, and you couldn't even drink the milkshake because the straw was so hard.

It's great that these are NoChicken burgers. They taste just like real chicken, but are more animal-friendly!

Such a beautiful place, but the food was terrible! The kids' nuggets were tough, barely cooked and overcooked! The fries were the same! And very expensive to boot 🤦‍♀️

Unfortunately, it felt like the staff didn’t really care about the customers. The prices are quite high for very basic dishes, and we had to wait around 35 minutes for a small order. Overall, quite disappointing for the cost and service level.

Two stars are enough here. The fries weren't seasoned. The price was too high, and the portions were too small. The Frikadel wasn't a highlight, and unfortunately, neither was the meat croquette. The staff was friendly, and it was clean, too. The ordering process via the terminal was unclear. The highlight was the self-dispensing mayo and ketchup. The bottom line is, you can do it, but if there's an alternative, I'd take it.

You can get food in an emergency, but it's very expensive. Staff friendly.

Unfortunately, Frites Affaires only serves fries, which are okay. Given the name, I expected great fries, and I was disappointed. We tried fries and nuggets; the fries were, as I said, okay, and the nuggets were relatively dry. I think the shop only survives because of its location in Center Parc; at any other location, they would have closed by now. I also think the prices are too high. There's always room there.

Delicious, hot, thick fries, nicely browned, and plenty of them. We were a little worried about the bad reviews, but it was more than excellent.

We enjoyed our recent meal at Frites Affairs. Everything was clean and the self-ordering kiosks were handy. Our order for 4 people took 13 minutes and overall the food was fresh and service was adequate. Better than we expected, based on other reviews.

Unfortunately, we can only agree with the others. The price is completely exorbitant and the ordering process is non-transparent. When you pay almost 90 euros for a few fries and a frikandel, you should at least expect the tables to be clean and not have to pump drinks and sauces yourself from completely sticky buttons. The burger was nothing more than meat and bread, and the fries were unsalted and only half-cooked. The chicken nuggets, on the other hand, were very hard. We all had stomach problems afterward. I generally don't understand why Centerpark ruins its reputation with such bad restaurants. Tip: At Brouwersdam, there are rock burgers with really good food for less money.

We had a family-sized portion of fries. The portion was generous! You could get unlimited sauces. The soft-serve ice cream was also delicious.

The food is okay. Fast food, you know. But there are a few things in the park that are halfway edible. They're fast food with no atmosphere.

We're on vacation at @centerparcs_portzelande, and here, too, they're really feasting, at least that's our idea. We tried the @centerparcsde restaurant Frites Affairs. From the outside and at the front of the restaurant, it looks like decent street food. Further inside... hmm, snack bar style. Well, now we're there, we'll give it a try. The burger with fries and a 0.4-liter drink cost €13. Certainly a fair price for a decent burger. The brioche burger was small and not particularly tasty. The patty seemed more boiled than properly fried or grilled. The portion of fries, not seasoned at all, tasted of nothing. We also had a portion of #loadedfries #chickensatay for around €9. The portion is okay, but also incredibly bland. The fries weren't seasoned either. The coriander mentioned on the menu could certainly have added some flavor. We're team coriander, and many people don't like it. When asked if they didn't have any cilantro, the answer was that it was too expensive. They had the requirement to put it on, but it was too expensive, so they used leeks instead. Now that's pretty outrageous. Going against your own company's guidelines to save even more money and make even more profit? The cilantro wasn't essential, but the justification is outrageous. The prices aren't exactly cheap, so the food should certainly be of corresponding quality. The most outrageous thing, however, is the children's menu. €9 for 5 nuggets (vegetarian), some fries (didn't fit the picture), and a small drink. No toys, nothing. Pretty expensive for €9. The conclusion of the visit... the food isn't worth the price. The food just tastes bland. So, I wouldn't recommend it.

The worst burger I've ever eaten

The food came right back out the bottom of the jar as shit and was just as delicious as before. But there were smileys on the packaging and the counter said "Pick it up."

This place was absolute horror. The fries were almost alright, however my burger was stonecold like a reptile. Let’s not even begin with the different types sauces, which by the way had more chemicals than my chemistry classes in high school. The cucumber ginger mayonaise tasted like an anti-fungus spray.

The people who work here are struggling with too few staff to help everyone. 3 great players that Centerparcs is lucky to have. By the way, fries are just good.

If you want to order an ice cream, the lady will clean it. Then you order and the screen ignores you. If you order food in the evening, you will receive 3 ketchup instead of the ordered mayo, wart and satay sauce. You might think how difficult it can be.

As all other reviews say, a real ball tent. Employees do not speak Dutch. That in itself wouldn't be a problem if these people just learned the ordering options. But then there are the scientific names for, for example, a frikandel. Yes, then I understand that the staff does not understand what you mean. Speaking of the price, we spent approximately 100 euros. Way too expensive for what you get.

A review to invite the owner and staff to improve. We ordered fries satay and fries stew a year ago. You then hope that the name of the business will live up to its name as far as the food is concerned and will provide a tasty temptation......not so... with all due respect, but it was inedible and expensive too. Ok CenterParcs is not cheap. But I've never had such a bad meal at CenterParcs. Actually the whole thing is a disgrace. Fries unsalted, Frikandel very salty and somehow musty. Burger went like this. No risk of repetition. Oh yes, service employee type macho with a toothpick in his mouth, crazy.

Worst chip shop ever, forget many things about your order, make you pay for sauce while you can get it for free. One of the worst fries I've ever tried

One of the worst fries I have ever eaten, they were very soft. This is pure disrespect to the Farmer who grew those potatoes

We thought we would eat some fries after swimming, but what a disappointing experience this was. Never expected that a snack bar could be so disappointing. Especially for the prices they charge, it was too sad for words, we lost 70 e for 4 adults and 1 child of 2. The loaded fries with satay were simply dried out satay over the fries without any onions on it, when asked they said it was gone. The burgers were dry with no extra sauce and the chicken nuggets I think were vegetarian nuggets that were really gross. The mustard you order with your croquette is simply 2 small bags of mustard for 95 cents. What is a plus is that you can get unlimited mayonnaise. N Unfortunately we won't be going there anymore.

It's a shame you can't choose 0 stars. After a bad coughing fit in the swimming pool, I wanted to quickly get something to drink for which I had pocketed extra cash. This was rejected because only card payment is possible, which I could nod from my cell phone. The lady preferred to watch as I almost couldn't breathe because of coughing instead of helping me and selling me the drink. In the end, a piece of candy that I quickly grabbed from my locker was my last resort and made me realize that this store won't make a single euro off my family.

I've never experienced anything so bad in my entire life. Price/performance = 0 out of 10 points In my opinion, this location is massively damaging to Center Parcs' business. The unfriendly and most demotivated staff I have ever seen. Fries were cold and tasted like old and rancid fat. Burgers just disgusting. Buns were cold. Everything costs extra, no transparent prices. I can really recommend everyone to give everyone a wide berth here and I recommend that CenterParcs move away from this location or completely rethink the concept.

Really very bad, the food was nasty, cold and very little but super expensive. We had ordered a kids box but they didn't have it at all, the young lady behind the bar got angry because I asked why I could order this. The food was very bad, cold and not cooked properly. Half of the order had also been forgotten and they only wanted to replenish this with the paid ordered products after a lot of effort. But advice: I don't go!

We ate there after visiting the swimming pool. At first you could add everything to your shopping cart at the ordering terminal, but during the checkout process the menu you wanted was sold out. So I started the order all over again and suddenly all the burgers were sold out, even though there was no one at the order terminals apart from us. So the alternative was a meat croquette with fries and a drink, as well as chicken nuggets with fries and a drink. Everything is charged extra, so the price of the menu is always higher than stated. Such pricing would be inadmissible in Germany. But apart from the far too high and non-transparent prices, the food was really disgusting. The fries tasted of old fat and were unsalted, the meat croquette consisted of mashed potato powder with pieces of meat. The mayonnaise was out and the syrup cartridge on the 7Up was apparently empty. So you would have chilled water. Unfortunately, all of this only comes to light at home. The guy behind the counter was playing on his cell phone the whole time. I don't mind if it's a little more expensive, but then the quality has to be right. However, in this case it was absolutely overpriced and the food was actually inedible!

Fairly expensive for what it is. Had to wait a very long time for our food. Ordered via kiosk and somehow, they didn't see it. Hamburger buns were cold, just came from the fridge. Never again, not even worthy of 1 star.

I have been here at the park for a few weeks now and I went here twice to get fries and twice the fries were not cooked and the first time the stew was also cold, I thought it could happen once, but apparently that is the standard here. If you return with raw fries, they will first look at the fries together to see if anything is missing, then after a little discussion they will bake new fries for you and you will get them without apologizing. Staff do not seem motivated to do anything and shout at you deafly and do not listen when you order to call out the orders that are ready, while they have a pick-up point with one system that can let everyone know which orders are ready. Update after 1 year: Still not a good experience, the staff is just messing around together before helping you at the checkout, the moment someone finally comes to help you he picks up his phone then you say what you want he says "wait a minute, just call a colleague" you can then follow the conversation carefully: "yes, can one of you come over?" then you can finally order and at checkout you are not told how expensive it is or whether you can pay and just starts shouting numbers and messing around with his colleague again and doesn't give you a number or a receipt. After 5 minutes he changes his mind and brings the receipt after he walks past you 3 times and doesn't remember who ordered. After about 6 minutes a colleague arrives and first picks up his phone and fiddles with it for a while and then picks up a charger and puts it on the charger next to all the equipment. His colleagues are also always on their phones, I think they are no longer people need, but rather people without a phone because in those few minutes I see more phones than fries in their hands. Price-quality ratio is not good, the food is just very expensive and you get very little and it is not exactly good quality. Food was now as good and “expensive” as in any fast food restaurant McM or BK. But the shop is always dirty. As is the case throughout CenterPark, it is mainly minors who work in the kitchen/at the counter. One of the fast food chains should open a store there...

What a sad intention. If you've ever been to a reasonable chip shop, this is a real travesty. Hamburger for the price of McDonalds x2. And tastes like it was thawed in the microwave. So tough that I had to double the sauce on it. My esophagus has suffered a spinal cord injury here. Never come here again. What a mockery.

Ordered fries and a frikandel, frikandel was nice but the fries were not crispy atall. Do not understand how you manage to make soggy fries when you prepare them in oil. If you get loaded fries it's ok because youwon't notice they aren't crispy but i wouldn't eat there again.

The food was tasty, but the restaurant was dirty. The sauce plate was not cleaned. Sauces 2/9 empty, only replenished when someone says something. Tables were not cleared. Staff spoke no Dutch, German and very poor English. Plastic surcharge, but serving in cardboard does not sound plausible. Emergency exit from both inside and outside blocked with high chairs and regular seats. All in all, almost nothing is right in this tent.

W A R D E L O O S - Haha all the reviews here speak for themselves; this is the worst "fries shop" I have ever been to, and I have visited many in the past 20 years. Fries half cooked (that is the working method here), paid for cheese on the burger but was not included, and in terms of staff there are three 13 year old guests who cannot think beyond the system they have been taught.

Well... You get what you expect. Something greasy at Centerpark prices. The quality of the food is comparable to that of the big fast food giants. OK for quick hunger pangs. But it's best to cook something delicious yourself or visit a good restaurant nearby 👍 Attention: If the service emphasizes that the order was completely packed... Check for yourself 😆

Spent €40, the food was disgusting. Seems to be a one-man operation, the guy does everything himself, and at a snail's pace. The food is inedible, save yourself the money and buy a kebab at home with the money 😅

Just picked up a family package, 17/3/24, 6:30 PM! How incredibly bad, limp, lukewarm fries and neither... Paid 25 euros and threw everything away after a few bites! The reviews of the fries shop and the Italian are shocking, but unfortunately right, worthless!! !

We wanted some fries to go with our homemade burgers. What a disappointment! Maybe we should have read reviews first because it is exactly what is described... They looked very good, but ultimately tasteless, lacked a good crunch, was already cold when we got back to the house (which is a shorter walk than at the local snack bar at home, where it is still warm) and is really way too expensive for what you get. Also we had milkshakes which were disappointing. The taste was okay, but my milkshake completely lacked structure. All in all a big disappointment

To flee !!! Go on your way even if you want a fry! Before we start... if we could have put 0 we would have put 0... We are staying without the center park with our 3 children... We gave 3 stars for the service because despite the fact that we came to order our dishes 5 minutes before closing they still welcomed us and even helped us with the order... On the other hand... The price is just exorbitant!!! But then the quality of the food is just unacceptable! We didn't even know how to finish our dishes... everything in the trash!! Even the children didn't know how to eat... we had great doubts about the origin of the meat given the taste and smell. .. we don't even talk about fries... A real shame to offer this quality...

Mediocre experience. Very pricey (1.50 for a tiny container of special sauce, for example), so we ended up with 33 euros for 4 fries, 4 frikandels and a few containers of sauce. The fries looked good, but were fairly tasteless and lacked a crispy crunch. With some extra salt it turned out fine. I bake fries better at home. The average tourist probably won't taste the difference, but the chip purist shouldn't be here. Cleaning up yourself is fine, but the trash cans are smaller than the trays, so you have to touch the trash cans with your hands to open. Not so hygienic.

What a horror this was. We ordered take away. It took at least fifteen minutes for it to be ready even though we were the only customers at the time. Then we had to wait even longer because oh yes, the milkshakes still had to be prepared. It turned out to be a bit cold at the house, the ordered mayonnaise was missing, it was all quite small, little taste and the fries had been fried for too long. Really not recommended. And you can't sit comfortably there either.

De frietjes zijn te hard gebakken en van slechte kwaliteit. De snacks zijn prima. Maar met 'frites' in de naam mag de kwaliteit beter zijn.

Wir können die schlechten Bewertungen hier überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Bestellung am Terminal sehr einfach und unproblematisch, das Essen war nach ca. 20 Minuten fertig. Pommes waren knusprig und frisch. Der Laden war auch sauber. Zudem konnte man sich so viel Saucen nehmen wie man will. Der Preis war absolut in Ordnung. Vor allem wann man die Restaurants nebenan damit vergleicht … Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und geben eine ganz klare Empfehlung.

Ondanks de recensies toch maar hier eten gehaald, en het was best goed. Ik had al gelezen dat ze geen zout op de patat doen, maar bij de kassa liggen zakjes met zout zodat je dat zelf erbij kan doen. Prijs is wat aan de hoge kant, zoals met alles op dit park. Er is wat minder keus dan bij gewone snackbar, wel genoeg vega opties Het was erg rustig, ik had binnen 10 minuten mijn vrij grote bestelling (maandag 18.00 uur)

Aanvullende review zomer vakantie 2023: Wederom kan ik mij niet vinden in de negatieve reviews. Bestellen op prime-time vrijdag, kleine 15min wachttijd. Kwaliteit friet is prima, niet vettig, ruime hoeveelheid voor 4 personen. Broodje hamburger ook een ruime voldoende! Eerdere review december 2022: Ondanks dat ik de mindere reviews had gelezen er voor gekozen om de gezinsdeal af te halen. Voor 4 personen patat en 4 snacks. Mijn bestelling was in 8 min. klaar. Het bestellen gaat via zo’n beeldscherm, beetje zelfde idee als bij de McD. We zijn tevreden, inderdaad geen zout er op maar dat zienlijk eerder als voordeel. Patat was voldoende voor 2 volwassen en 2 kinderen (15 en9). Kan me voorstellen dat als je in de zomer er bent dat het wellicht wat drukker is en de wachttijden langer. Als meerdere verschillende menu’s neemt kan het ook wat langer duren. Ze waren nu met 6 personen in de keuken. Omdat de keuze qua snacks beperkt is 4 sterren. Maar zou het zeker niet afraden.

De hamburger smaakte best prima, frietjes ook. Echter was het eten veel duurder dan verwacht voor een snackbar.

Wij hebben hier net ons 4tjes op dag 1 gegeten en konden eigelijk niets erop aanmerken. Het eten was goed en oké voor fastfood! 👍🏻😉

I don't really understand the bad reviews. The food didn't take long, the fries were crispy(although slightly undersalted), there are unlimited sauces and the prices are actually fair compared to other restaurants in the Parc. Also they take gluten free Frikandel and fries very seriously and have a separate deep fryer for them.

Das Essen war wirklich schlecht, sowohl die Pommes als auch der Hamburger haben nicht wirklich geschmeckt. Zudem ist das Ambiente ungemütlich, wie in einem typischen Fast-Food-Restaurant mit Massenabfertigung, laut und eher schmutzig. In anderen Center Parcs gibt es deutlich schönere, gemütlichere Restaurants der Frites Affairs.
