The food really isn't very good. The fries were standard frozen fries and ours were very bland, so we asked for some extra salt. The kibbeling is very bad, not fresh and from the freezer. My children and I love kibbeling, but we all found it disgusting; the texture of the kibbeling is really gross because it falls apart or something. Feeding the seagulls with the food we didn't like was actually quite fun. Our children also enjoyed playing on the dunes next to the terrace.

A very basic chip shop... the "groote fret" was really small... a bit grubby.

The wind is strong, blowing sand like something out of a science fiction movie, quite interesting. For people from tropical climates, it would be very cold. Activities like surfing or parasailing are popular here. Remember to keep your head and ears warm.

Unfortunately, this is not a good place to eat. The staff (only three people) is completely overwhelmed. You wait forever for your order and then don't get what you ordered. The food is on par with a fast-food joint. You have a view of the beach, but you're actually on the street. It's noisy, not from the street itself, but from the chairs being moved around. I wouldn't recommend it.

Expensive place and you get little for your money. Portions are small and mostly greasy without much flavor. They sometimes give you a more expensive order than what you asked for just to charge you extra.

Unfortunately, we weren't there at the end of March. There are no opening hours or stand times listed anywhere. It's a shame, but we would have been happy.

The food was okay, and the price was too (only 1 euro for ketchup, etc., is outrageous). BUT: Firstly, they often turn off the cash register – then they don't pay taxes. Above all, every movement of the only employee exudes a sense of slowness. It's a real adventure, though, when he (as happened with us) takes the order and then forgets. No apologies, no expedited service. Quite the opposite: first, the guy suddenly only speaks Dutch and calmly explains that you basically have to get back in line because all the other orders have to be "processed" first, before our order ends up waiting 30 minutes, and another 40 minutes of waiting time to be prepared. Three crying children. This guy deserves a full 10 on the incompetence scale...

Terribly nasty bite. Ice cream was decent. Old man with a 12-year-old child in an old chip truck. Only cash because there is no 4G? Was fine on my phone. Everything was calculated on a piece of paper. Cash register was also turned off. Won't pay taxes.

Mobile snack bar on the dam, 5 stars of course not towards Michelin, but what you could expect from it.

Snacks were delicious, prices similar to everywhere else. There are some tables and chairs available for eating on site.

Very tasty soft ice cream, normal prices, had ice cream there twice and it was very good both times. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the other dishes because I haven't tried them. I was served very nicely both times, so everything was ok.

Super Cooler Snack Wagen. die Angestellten sind immer freundlich und das Essen ist auch immer gut. natürlich dauert es an Sonnigen Tagen etwas länger dafür wird es aber Frisch gemacht. ich wurde noch nie enttäuscht! Der Platz vor dem Wagen wird auch stets Saubergehalten. Es gibt auch sitz Möglichkeiten.

The food is good. The service is terrible! Asking if the ‘poffertjes’ are fresh made or micowaved landed us the snarky answer ‘what do you think?! Waiting more than 30 mins for our drinks on a slow saturday morning… again a snarky comment from another staff member that that isn’t possible while everything goes digital, so it’s easy to see. Getting an icecream at the counter? Staff ignores you for a full ten minutes while they see you standing… even after greeting them. The sport shop (flight zone) is different: friendly people all around! Good food, but we won’t come back due to the service.
