NEVER ORDER HERE! We ordered 1 hour in advance. After waiting 2 hours our order was canceled. We called several times, but there was no answer. Scandalous!

We walked over, but when we arrived, they were temporarily closed while their oil was warming up. Luckily, we were able to do some grocery shopping across the street while we waited! The food was excellent and the employees (owner??) was very nice! We ordered the Bitterballen with mustard and the chicken burger, all for under €15. The flavors were fantastic, and I especially loved how fresh the burger was. The pricing felt very reasonable compared to similar spots in the area!

Order fries rendang for the rendang, they will give you Mexicano as a replacement without consultation (without sauce) Laziness and several mistakes in the past ensure that I will not order from here again

Nothing special, but the fries were good. The only soda options were the zero versions. Very slow service, because the man at the register kept stopping to make phone calls. My friend and I waited a while to order and then to get our food. A family of 5 behind us was served before we were and all we ordered was fries The sink in the bathroom wasn’t connected to the pipes below, so water ran everywhere. No lock on the bathroom door.

We wanted to eat a delicious portion of fries in 2024 and were not disappointed here. Fries with sauces were very tasty and the other fried snacks didn't disappoint either... Gladly again 😁🤟🏻

For the second time, I have been disappointed by this place, and it will also be the last. I ordered a shrimp croquette but received a vegetable croquette instead. On top of that, I ordered fries for two people but only got a portion for one. The fries were clearly fried in old oil, which made them taste unpleasant. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time something went wrong. Last time, I was even served a frozen shrimp croquette. It’s incredibly frustrating to repeatedly pay for something I didn’t receive. I paid much more than what I actually got, and both the quality and service are downright terrible. I will never order from here again. This was the final straw for me.

I eat here Elle week. Best fries, burgers and snacks, people from Europe work everywhere. Sometimes a mistake until they have been worked in, check your order carefully, nice people and I have seen New menu, best prices looked nice, will soon just try wt malt and see if you get a paper bag or plastic

Frites&Frites is working on new menu with famous dilek chicken doner and has finished construction, they had to stay open within days new team best fries chicken kapsalon and mutch more , i know this place need a bit patience you will love it even more

Not what it used to be, the quality, speed and service used to be top. Nowadays you wait a long time, they forget something in your order, the fries are soggy and the snacks are nothing special. In addition, everything is stuffed into the containers and bags. I never actually post a bad review, but I would like to protect you from this.

I have now bought food there about 6 times because the quality of fries and especially the snacks is very good. But the service is really incredibly bad. There is always someone else who seems to be new. They are slow and every time I have been they have made a mistake in the order or forgotten something. You also wait at least 20 minutes even if it is quiet. The manager who is often there never helps and sometimes forgets to help new customers and is mainly concerned with peripheral matters. So very bad

Fries were ok but nothing special, some fries were colder than others so I guess it was mixed with older fries, unfortunately.

My friend and I stumbled upon this place because we wanted to eat some fries. We didn’t expect much from “just” a cafeteria - but this is not just a cafeteria. The manager is really passionate about his work and you can just tell by the way he describes their assortment, like the sauces by its flavour profile or the kind of fries they use, just to name a few examples. We dined in and had such a good time. The fries were DELICIOUS and the kroket was just so crispy on the outside and insanely creamy on the inside. This is definitely our favourite fries joint in Ams West and I’d recommend it to everyone!

the food was delicious and the service was amazing. i never liked any sauces with my fries but the manager convinced me to let him surprise me and it did not disappoint. he upgraded my order to their in-house specialty: crispy fries dusted with parmesan cheese and a generous amount of both truffle mayo and andalouse sauce. my mind has been changed about sauces since trying this and i will be coming back.

Fries were overly oily and below average in quality. Also noticed staff eating while handling food and trash without proper handwashing, which raises serious hygiene concerns.

A wonderful, cozy and clean establishment at a great location. The food is excellent end very tasty. For sure The Best Chips in town. The owner is a very nice and kind person. You can thruley feel the warm welcome when you step in and you can definitely taste that the food is made with love and care. I come here almost every day for a nice meal after my work. Soooooooo sad that the quality of the food is overshadowed by the lack of service. I have never had an order that was complete. You have to email or call every time. And then you can consider yourself lucky if it is recorded. NOT recommended.

Great food, good parking and a very nice owner. He gave us a very warm welcome, the famous fries with truffle mayo were perfect and really specially prepared. I can only recommend the shop to everyone, come by, the food was delivered quickly and was very good too. Another plus point for us was that the chicken and meat were healthy. I don't know what I just ate, but it didn't even remotely resemble a frikandel. The thing was tough, dry and totally tasteless. As if it had been in the fryer for hours and then forgotten. The appearance alone was not exactly inviting, and the first bite confirmed my worst suspicions. Not even the sauce could save it. This was by far the worst frikandel I have ever had. Not recommended!

Beautiful place, super tasty food

Long waiting - with two young teen trying their best but once they focus on the food they forgot about the people waiting ( as if you not even infront of them) You can't have to apprentice working together they clearly need someone with experience with them. BUT I loved the chips! Can't speak for the rest. And waiting in an awkward silence...

Best fries in town! Good prices. Huge 125 gram hamburgers in specia french toast. They have hotlkamp and cara age chicken! When i taste elswhere i notice the diffrens. Delivery thuisbezorgd sometimes deliver late because they have less koeriers. Dont mind the naggers! These people are everywhere. Respect for hard working horeca of amsterdam.They make this city wonderfull! Keep up the good work Frites&Frites small mistakes we all make ..just try and taste the potatoes and cheese soufle ..bitterbals and best double trouble in town

The ordered fries war tasted delicious! But what made this meal extra enjoyable were the seats overlooking the liveliness of the Kinkerstraat, not to mention the warm and disarming service by Aytach. The boss of Frites & Frites can rub shoulders with this promising 'host'. A winner!

Expensive, but order is rarely correct. In the photo two special frikandels. At least, that was the idea. Ketchup is also not included, but the charge is €0.75. Mustard same.

Very high priced on the menu already and than post ordering there happend to be a packaging tax added. Really?! And the packaging was made of paper and not plastic; which is great… but a paper packaging tax? A tax added at a ‘snackbar’ in a Dutch establishment IS NOT A THING! Someone help this poor guy he seem a little lost and overwhelmed. We didn’t get the right sauce to our frites and got a random cheese krokette we didn’t order. But the frites were super good and we loved the free krokette so we didn’t mind. It did take some time for our food to come and again the guy was there all alone and in total stress. He was super nice tho!

Getting a portion of fries in Amsterdam is a real challenge. Inspired by other recessions, we set off. The shop is located right on the corner and isn't particularly big inside. The boss is nice and a real brand. But now to the most important thing, the fries. Yes, they are really good, crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, and nice in taste. The fries are fried with the skin on and therefore look a little different at first glance. The rest of the order was also delicious and can definitely be recommended.
