The fries were phenomenal! I had the truffle mayo and Parmesan fries, and they were absolutely delicious—full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Great food and great service!

Not the best but this served really good fires.

Best potatoes ever. We had the ones with truffle mayo on top and plain mayo. We also had a croquet with meat which was also amazing and fresh! The guys working there were also very kind and very cute and good looking! :)

This was the last hotel I ever stayed in, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The rooms weren't clean, the staff were unfriendly, and there was a complete lack of respect for the guests. Overall, the service was very poor, and I cannot recommend this hotel. An absolute disaster and definitely the last hotel I ever stayed in. The rooms were dirty and not cleaned properly at all. The staff were disrespectful and unprofessional. There was absolutely no customer service. As a guest, you don't feel welcome and are treated like a burden. For the price, this is simply unacceptable. I have rarely experienced such poor service. I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel and will definitely never stay here again.

The fries are different and very unique. There are many sauces that you can try. The staff and very kind and jolly.

We really enjoyed coming here! The fries were excellent, especially with the locally made pepper mayo. We appreciated being able to have sauce on the side with the small size. Great beef bitterballen too! The guys serving us were super friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic meal. Alberto and Gelson are very friendly and attentive. They have 100% gluten-free options. Highly, highly recommended.

We went as part of a food walking tour and were so glad to have been taken to this place. We tried the fries on the tour and they were amazing. We liked it so much we went back the next day and tried the parmesan and truffle fries and they were even better! This will definitely be on the list when we visit again.

I only got the fries because I was on a food tour and they brought us here. Really solid fries, crispy and fresh. Amsterdam really upped their fries making game. The best kept secret about this place is actually the view and the scenic photography spot. Directly diagonal from it is a nice spot to sit and get a photo of the canal. I am not a good photographer so I'm sure someone else can take a better photo of this view than I can. Good place to relax with some fries and snacks.

Good fries, a number of vegan sauce options, vegan bitterballen, vegan croquettes -- what's not to like. Grab and go, chow down along the canal. Just grab a tiny fork and some napkins and you're all set (and it all should be biodegradable).

These might be the best fries I've ever had! You can choose from 15 different sauces. The medium portion (€4.75) is quite large, so there's no need for dessert! We also ordered some "bitterballen" on the side, which were also good. The (small) shop is right next to the canal, so you can sit by the water in the sun – it's very pleasant.

Recommended Actually one of the best dutch fries spots you should try once you decide to visit Amsterdam. Also the view of the place is outstanding as you Can grab you fries cone and sit on the canal while eating. Fries are better than most of tourisitic places around dams Square. Fries were cooked fresh but it took ages to get them, it wasn’t busy there were only 4 customers me included. The mayonnaise was good, but you’d think a sauce would be included in the price. The staff were pretty disinterested.

A viral fast food place, but honestly nothing special. It was quite crowded, and the prices are at least around €15 per person if you take a meat and fries combo. The meat balls didn’t really have much flavor, while the fries were okay. Overall, it’s fine to try once because of the hype, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth waiting in line for.

Absolutely recommended place to get Pommes Frites. The size of the portions is very generous and we tried different sauces which all tasted very good. Especially the spicy majo was to my taste, but you can't go wrong with Frietsaus. The truffle parmesan frittes also we're tasting so nice and fresh. We loved the experience although it can get very crowded here. The staff has it always under control though 😉

We tried the fries of 5 places during our trip, this was by far the best! So much so, that we returned. I will be dreaming of the combination of decadent peanut sauce paired with crispy, fluffy, perfectly salted potatoes until we return. On our first visit, we were welcomed kindly by a warm, talkative gentleman. Extremely friendly & informative. On my second visit, I was welcomed by a very cool, lovely person wearing a “protect the dolls” cap that happened to match by T-shirt. Shoutout to them! If fries are what you want, there’s truly no better place to go.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The freshly fried fries were piping hot and crispy, which was delicious! However, they became a bit salty and greasy towards the end. Perhaps they could recommend using plum powder! The indoor tables were small and not very clean, and the outdoor chairs were also quite dirty.

The meatballs are filled with minced meat, and the outer skin is quite hard. The fries taste better with sauce.

A lovely Dutch experience. The medium frites were too much for even 2 adult/2 kids as we enjoyed the bitterballen and a rather bland lobster croquette. Little seating, lovely staff, plenty of wipes.

Not really a place to sit in, as there will be a lot of people queuing, but you can take it away and sit along the canals of Amsterdam.

Superb fries and so filling with so much of cheese 😋😋😋. It's located also on a good place and on top of it good choice of music, it felt really good when I was having fries and suddenly a 70's Indian song started playing and the weather was also very pleasant, light rain with little bit of cold. Good place to go to and with good value for money. Less space for seating but that is manageable. Highly recommend

We walked in on a Saturday brunch and there was no queue, service also moved very quickly. Generous portion of truffle mayo with shavings of parmesan cheese - experience made better by sitting by the canal under the sun!

We ignored the mixed tiktok reviews of Fabel Friet to try this place and weren't disappointed. The fries were perfect and the truffle parmesan mayo was perfectly balanced flavour wise. Extra points for the little chunks of parmesan on top!

I've been to all the popular potato places. This one has more sauce than the others, and I recommend the truffle mayonnaise sauce; don't forget to add Parmesan cheese. You can also try the oorlog sauce.

Came across this place while walking with my friend, who was visiting Amsterdam for the first time and really wanted to try the fries. We decided to give it a shot, and it turned out to be a lucky find. The fries were really good — we enjoyed them so much. Honestly, I think they’re even better than some of the more touristic and popular spots. I noticed they also serve food, and it looked really good, so I’d definitely go back to try more next time.

Great location, warm welcome, and delicious fries! (And that's coming from a Belgian!) I highly recommend the "specialty" that was served that day: fries + truffle mayo + parmesan. It was incredibly indulgent and not exactly diet-friendly, but absolutely amazing!!

I had a Bad experience, we got the wrong item and the staff was rude. The guy in blue hat was super rude, instead of yelling at customers for no reason, take a napkin and wipe the tables.

Fair price, considering Amsterdam isn't generally cheap. The truffle mayo is highly recommended. The flavor is neither too weak nor too strong. Unfortunately, there's very little seating.

I came on a guided tour and we got the Bitterballen (Dutch Meatballs) and fries. The Bitterballen was surprisingly delicious - very crunchy on the outside yet moist on the inside. It’s like a fried meatball, would definitely get it again. The fries were also spectacular. The guide said he tried dozens of establishments when creating this tour, and this was the best. I would definitely agree. The fries are double fried and the sauce is like a sweet mustard. Probably my favorite stop on the entire food tour.
