Fuego Adventure Grill in Wijk 20 Dalen

They don't make anything themselves. Everything is reheated and ready-made. No fresh meat on the burger, no fresh salad. You don't get anything for the price. It wasn't fish, but for 27 euros, you expect a tasty, fresh burger.

We booked for 5:30 PM and finally got our food after an hour of waiting. We were the first to be seated but the last to be served. The fries were cold, the spare ribs had bone fragments in them, and the meat was dry. We only received one 750-gram rib that was inedible. We also had a three-year-old child with us who also needed to go to bed early, so we had booked so early. This was ignored. We reported it to the staff, but there was nothing they could do at the time. They did deduct one portion of bread from the bill, which was a waste of money. Once home, three of us had stomach aches from the food. During the night, one of us got very sick and vomited. She was seriously ill from the chicken burger. We do demand a little compensation, as we spent a lot of money and didn't get any value for our money.

We were on holiday at Huttenheugte. We thought it would be a nice grill restaurant, but it wasn't. The spare ribs were not bad, but the steak was rock hard and the chicken raw. We were sick for 3 days.

After some hesitation due to the negative reviews, we decided to go to Fuego Adventure Grill in Dalen, and we don't regret it! To be honest, we don't really understand the negative feedback. The service was actually very friendly and helpful. They were thoughtful and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious and well-prepared. All four people at the table were very satisfied with their dishes. For us, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we didn't recognize any of the negative reviews. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time on our first evening, having dinner right away at 5:30 pm, so it wasn't super busy yet. The atmosphere was calm and gradually warmed up. The steak was perfectly cooked (medium), and the fries, unsalted and with the skins on, were delicious. It's great that you can add salt yourself if you like. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to help you as quickly as possible. You do notice that when it gets busier, you might have to wait a little longer, but I consider that normal. They also come by to ask if everything is to your liking and if you'd like another drink. We had a wonderful evening!

The food is delicious, especially the potato soup, which is highly recommended. It's a bit pricey, but that's to be expected at a park like this. It's also great that they have a specific gluten-free menu.

If you want to pay a lot of money for substandard junk, then definitely come here to eat. Mexican chicken soup for €11? Turns out it's just grunt soup. Schnitzel with fries for €31? Tasty schnitzel but the rest looks like dog food and the fries are inedible. Half a glass of wine is €5.50. In short, with an aperitif we spent €120 for two people. Terrible!! Staff was friendly. After all, they can't do anything about it.

The service was super good, the steaks and the spear of fear we got were unfortunately like shoe soles and not cuttable. Too bad. We returned the food.

What a mockery... The service was probably free at 7.45 pm, but after that time no one was seen again. The food we received was fine, but the side dishes and the second round of drinks, just like the service, had probably already disappeared... luckily the bill was in order... Just like the handling... "sorry I'm not on that side of the service". That was indeed correct, there was no one there... ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!! Atmosphereless, unprofessional, disinterested intention..

It remains one of the better restaurants in Centerparc, but since it only serves students, it is extremely slow. You wait a whopping 40-60 minutes (!) for your food. The chairs are far too uncomfortable for such long waiting times. Children's waiting time is not made any easier here (at other parks it is). E.g. by painting. A visit here once a week is enough.

It was a long wait for the menu, so I asked for it myself and was able to order drinks. Then we had to wait a long time for our food. The fries came later than the meat, which was still in the fryer, there was a 5 minute gap so we started. No sauce is offered with the schnitzel. Then they say that more fries can be ordered for free and then we were no longer asked if we wanted to order anything else. The table next to us had ordered baguettes...they asked for it again after half an hour...I will never spend my money here again.

First had to wait half an hour until the menu was brought out. After that the sparibs were not good. Slightly irritated, I went to the staff who asked if I wanted new ones. We had something planned so we couldn't wait a long time. Final score I was allowed to take a small piece of sparibs home with me. Normally it was always good here, but this was real drama. The staff wasn't nice either. I received the comment 'if you want to discuss with my manager, I will pick her up'. Not to be repeated.

Cockroach on the floor asked for popcorn and never received food, it is tasty but very expensive

After a weekend in Huttenheugte we took the gamble of booking it at Fuego. A 3 star review on Google is a gamble. But it was above expectations, the service was pleasant, the food was tasty...honestly, the prices were a bit too high, but we often see that at these types of parks...especially the people make the difference tonight. 5 stars well deserved!

The food was really great, the service was also super nice. The food and drinks were brought quickly. All in all we had a lovely time there.

Price/quality ratio is not right. Price too high. Had to wait 2 hours (with kids) for the main course. We had to ask twice about the status, the staff did not see it themselves. Later: 'Sorry, we had large groups'. And that was it. Because we had booked another activity at the park, there was no time for dessert. At checkout we were asked if everything was satisfactory. Reported no, because we had to wait 2 hours with the kids for our food, which we thought was bad. “Oh that's really annoying”… but no follow-up. Too bad and a shame. Not worth repeating.

Many times were blocked when booking, some employees were great, others did not know what was on the menu. Restaurant was dark, and there was no bar, everything came from the closed kitchen. Expensive food for mediocre quality. So make money quickly from holiday makers.

Not recommended. Vega burger is more of a kind of falafel burger that you are not looking forward to, onion rings are very tasty. Had to ask several times for a form to make your own burger so that was a shame. Many things are forgotten and it took a long time. Prices are also shocking. The staff is also nice.

Microwaved food, at best. Quite disappointing as we had a great experience at a different location last year. This time: chicken soup tasted the same a supermarket brand from a can.. for €10! And the €25 burger was worse than Febo - compressed processed slimy meat. The fries and gratin were reheated (probably multiple times) and/or left under heating lamps so they were dry as bone. Not to mention it took almost 3 hours for dinner. Extremely slow service, and we had to wave a server down every time. Skip this one!

We had to wait a very long time for our main course. When it was there, the disillusionment came, the steaks were cooked through. Two new steaks were brought without any problems, but one was still tough and a third steak was brought. It wasn't a hit either, but at least it was edible. The staff didn't really try hard and weren't attentive when it came to the drinks. We were there last time, we'd rather spend the money somewhere else.

Great restaurant, not great but above expectations for a restaurant in a holiday park. Skewers are good, mixed grill is fine, vegetarian stew is very poor (better not to order), spare ribs are also good. These are both large starters and main courses. Good to know for the little eaters.

Rarely have I eaten such bad spareribs. The hamburger also came straight from the shelves of a local supermarket. The mix grill of 29.95 is not even worth 5 euros. There was also a piece of plastic in the steak. Don't be seduced by the appearance of the restaurant and keep your money in your pocket. This put a damper on the fun weekend.

Smooth and very friendly service. The steak was tender and large in portion, the side dishes also tasted good. Highly recommended if you are on CP! We were so full from the main course that there was no room for dessert.

Food was very good, rich portions and delicious. We ordered spare ribs and steak. The reviews here all describe this as 'not quite', but that is completely unjustified. Staff were also very friendly.

We enjoyed it very much, the children had a great time and drank delicious non-alcoholic cocktails!

We stood at the door at 8.30 pm and asked if we still had room, unfortunately the kitchen was closed, a few minutes later we were picked up at the exit so that we could still eat, super organized. The food we got was tasty, nice that you can put together the burgers yourself. The prices, on the other hand, are ridiculously high, €27.50 for a hamburger with some fries. Skewer for two people €51, two pieces of chicken, two pieces of pork tenderloin and two pieces of beef steak is very on the lean side for two people, our meat was also on the dry side. You could order fries for free. For the amounts requested, the portions could have been a bit larger.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice. The theme is well expressed. The staff is young and inexperienced, but they make up for it with friendliness. The food was really disappointing at first. We had the skewer for two people, two pieces of chicken, pork tenderloin and beef steak. Definitely not enough for two people. We were given tiny pieces of steak and it was so dry that it was really hard to eat. The corn was already cold. Fortunately, a new steak was cooked for us and it was a decent portion and juicy. The sausages for kids were fine, spareribs had a strange structure (supermarket ribs) but the taste was good. The caipirinha cocktail was brought with 1 piece of lime and without a pestle, but this was also resolved after asking twice and after that it was a tasty drink. I find it difficult to say whether we will go back again.

Waited an hour for a tough dry steak with vegetables from a jar and sticky rice. Barely helped with anything. After half an hour I asked for an ice cream. Staff is disinterested. This was our last day at the park and we wanted to go swimming for an hour after dinner. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible because everything took unnecessarily so long. I would not recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant. A really big waste of your money. Really not worth it

The food wasn't much like we imagined, the meat wasn't very tasty, only the chicken wings surprised me. The service was really good.

Only real downside is the cost! It's expensive but they have some great menu items. My first time visiting Centerparcs to see some friends staying there and we had dinner together at Fuego. Great waitstaff and very clean WCs.

Spareribs niet lekker, supermarkt kwaliteit.

Wir haben uns spontan entschieden das Lokal zu besuchen und haben auch einen freien Tisch bekommen. Die Getränke wurden in angemessener Zeit aufgenommen. Der Kids-Cocktail wird sehr schön serviert (alle Zutaten extra zum selber mixen). Das Essen wurde auch schnell aufgenommen und wurde zügig serviert. Meine Tochter hatte kaum begonnen das Bild auszumalen ;-) Der Burger kam so wie bestellt und war sensationell. Meine Tochter hatte den Spieß mit Hackbällchen und alles aufgegessen was eine Seltenheit ist ;-) Der Preis ist an der oberen Grenze aber in einem Ferienpark auch wie erwartet.

Leuk restaurant waar je lekkere vleesgerechten kan eten. Personeel is vriendelijk. Wel van te voren reserveren, want het is snel vol. Helaas is het restaurant wel heel erg duur. Echt wel overdreven hoge prijzen vergeleken met dit soort restaurants buiten het park.

Wir hatten um 17:00 Uhr einen Tisch zu zweit reserviert. Alle waren sehr freundlich und es gab eine kleine Schüssel Popcorn zur Begrüßung. Wir bestellten Getränke und Essen. Nach einer halben Stunde kam dann die Vorspeise (Nachos mit Käse überbacken & 3 Dips) dies war sehr lecker. Der Hauptgang waren jeweils ein selbst zusammengestellter Burger für meinen Partner und mich. Die Servicekraft hatte sogar einen "Ankreuzzettel" mit den gewünschten Zutaten. Leider kamen die Burger mit Zutaten, die wir entweder garnicht oder anders haben wollten. Zudem waren sie nicht sonderlich lecker und auch eher lauwarm. Das Fleisch schmeckte, als wäre es püriert und in Form gepresst. Da ist es das Geld leider absolut nicht Wert. Wir gehen dort nicht mehr hin.

Valt zwaar tegen.. de groetenboer was zeker dicht! Mix grill besteld, zag er echt triest uit en zalm nou.. voor dat geld kan je beter ergens anders.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und flott, manchmal so flott das ein Bier abgeräumt wird, wo noch ein guter Schluck drinnen war. Das Ambiente ist schön, wirkt aber etwas übertrieben. Das Essen ist dem Überlebenskampf im Duschungel angepasst. Kleine Portionen, Fleisch hastig gegart, auch wenn man "well done" ordert. Ohne Vor- und Nachspeise geht man garantiert ungesättig. Der Gipfel war, dass wir eine Woche vorab Reserviert haben und unser reservierter Tisch direkt an den Toiletten postiert war. Sorry, aber diese Tische werden nicht für Gäste genutzt, die reservieren. Hier sitzt, wer spontan kommt und gefragt wird, ob er da sitzen möchte, auch Moffen. Um zum Ende zu kommen, fast 80 € für zwei Personen ist zu viel für zu wenig!

Na hele slechte recensies gelezen te hebben toch na het zwemmen gevraagd of ze nog een tafeltje hadden voor mijn zoon en ik. Mijn zoon had een make you’re own burger met frietjes en ik had een schnitzel met wedges ook zat er nog een stuk gratin bij. Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten en zaten goed vol, ook was de jongedame die ons bediende erg aardig 😊 Glenn uit Hoogeveen

Week geleden hier gegeten maar dit was niet best. Binnen 5 minuten stond de mix grill op tafel dit heeft waarschijnlijk op een warmhoud plaat gelegen. Het varkensvlees was niet gaar en de kip had er ook wel aan. Wij zullen hier niet meer eten Wat ons ook verbaasde dat er geen prijzen op de menukaart vermeld staan

Matig en fantasieloos. De mixed grill was taai en het geld absoluut niet waard. Het was zo donker dat je een zaklamp nodig had om het menu te kunnen lezen. De hamburger was ok, maar de minimale hoeveelheid cole slaw viel tegen. Het stel achter ons kreeg twee frikadellen aangeboden in plaats van de bestelde schnitzel omdat die op waren. Vriendelijk personeel. Dat dan weer wel.

Wir waren an 2 Abenden mit 10 Personen vor Ort Essen . Durchweg war das Essen sehr gut . Es wurde alles quer Beet bestellt . Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz das das Restaurant ausgebucht war , war das Essen verhältnismäßig schnell da . Frische Zutaten, Steaks wie gewünscht auf den Punkt etc. Einziger Punktabzug der Preis. Wir geben gerne für gute Ware etwas mehr aus , aber für ein Burger 24 Euro, Naja. ..aber wir kommen bei einem nächsten Center Parcs Aufenthalt gerne wieder. 😉

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedienung sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat, war die Dauer bis das Essen gebracht wurde. Es hat alles sehr lange gedauert. Mir persönlich hat das Ambiente auch nicht so gut gefallen, zu dunkel und man sitzt teilweise sehr dicht beieinander.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und zu unserem Tisch gebracht. Die Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen und das Essen wurde in angemessener Zeit serviert. Uns schmeckte es sehr gut, wir hatten den Spieß mit Beilagen für 2 Personen. Die Menge war gerade so ausreichend. Das Restaurant ist thematisch passend eingerichtet. Einen Stern Abzug, weil das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht stimmt. Es ist uns etwas zu hochpreisig.

Heerlijk eten & vriendelijk personeel! Eten was snel klaar en we werden snel geholpen.

Zeer lekker gegeten. Ondanks dat het vrij drun was, heel snel geholpen (wel gereserveerd) en hooguit 20 minuten gewacht op het eten. Van taai of droog vlees zeker geen sprake. Wij hadden de Spear of Fear voor 2 personen en dit was ook meer dan genoeg. Hierbij zaten nog enkele bijgerechten zoals aardappelpartjes en patat. Goedkoop is het niet maar daarover staat wel hoog kwaliteit eten.

Steak und Burger waren, wie auch in anderen Fuegos in Center Parcs, wieder hervorragend.

Zelfde ervaring als dat ze uit de winkel kwamen, waren niet echt warm, friet en drankjes waren gewoon goed!

Trage bediening. Tournedos doorbakken gevraagd en kregen 2 ultradunne krokante schijfjes vlees. Een chef weet hoe ie een tournedos doorbakken klaarmaakt terwijl ie sappig blijft. Daar moet je dan 27€ voor betalen. Die hebben ons niet meer terug gezien en zien ons ook niet meer.

Eten was heerlijk, en zelden zulke goede service als hier. Aan onze tafel vanavond Robert en Puk, wat mij betreft verdienen ze beiden opslag! De volgens mij altijd vrolijke Puk heeft bij ons van Robert geleerd om speciaalbier te schenken, puik gedaan! Al met al een dikke tien! @Centerparcs, zorgen jullie dat dit bij ze terecht komt? Zulke werknemers verdienen goeie feedback;-)

De sparibs was heerlijk het kwam makkelijk van de bot en was veel maar bij de cursus zat een hele pittige peper en ik kan niet echt tegen pepers enzo en werd niet geïnformeerd daarom stond mijn mond in brand voor de rest was het heel lekker

Nu 2 keer bij Fuego gegeten. Beide keren goed. Alleen één tip; als men brood als voorgerecht besteld heeft, kom dan niet na 5 min al met het hoofdgerecht. Geef de mensen even de kans om hun voorgerecht op te eten. Beetje jammer, want zo lijkt t alsof je verplicht bent om gehaast te moeten eten. Ook de tafels kunnen sneller afgeruimd worden.

Last Minute (mede door de geweldige gastheer Peter en diens collega Cole) toch nog een tafeltje weten te bemachtigen! De sfeer, het eten en de bediening is hier super! Oprecht waar voor je geld en de spareribs zijn oeioeioei gevaarlijk lekker! Zeker een aanrader!

Ik had samen met twee andere mensen een tafeltje gereserveerd bij Fuego. Nadat we besteld hadden duurde het ongeveer 40 minuten voordat ons eten aankwam, terwijl wegens de coronamaatregelen we maar 90 minuten aanwezig mochten zijn in het restaurant. Hierdoor moesten we snel eten en hadden we bijna geen tijd meer voor het dessert. Het eten zelf was erg lekker. Ee bijgeleverde sauzen waren ook erg lekker. Het personeel was ook super aardig!
