Sorry, but the steak was like a shoe sole...very tough. The chef could probably learn to cook again and learn the different cooking methods. The staff were friendly, but that's the only positive thing we can say...we won't be returning, unfortunately.

The food isn't anything special for the price. Rather disappointing.

I had the mixed grill plate, the so-called chicken thigh was a piece of chicken breast (which was well seasoned, though). I was a bit disappointed. My beef steak was still nice and pink, but could have been juicier. The belly was super juicy (more fat), but I don't mind the lack of a crust. The bratwurst wasn't my thing in terms of consistency and the strong seasoning. The staff were super attentive, but unfortunately, they weren't so attentive towards the end, as we actually wanted dessert. Despite everything, one of the best restaurants in the park.

We had a wonderful meal! We both had spareribs, and they tasted great. It seemed small, but it was very filling! We tasted each other's portions, and you could definitely tell the difference, even though we both had the same dish. We thought that was rather unusual! Still a very tasty meal.

I was still hesitant because of the negative reviews, but: The food was delicious, and the little one was able to color happily and enjoyed her corn on the cob. Friendly staff and a good wait time for food (not too fast or too slow).

30 euro’s for possible the worst ribs I ever had. My husband had mixed grill which was equally disappointing, due to taste and portion. Bad food, below average service but at least the looks of everything got some attention.

Great place. Visually! Prices high. The food was okay, very little, and some of the meat was extremely dry and not a highlight. Service: Sharon is super nice, on the ball, and generally everything went very quickly. Oh, no, there's a table in the middle of the tables where they spent ages collecting all the plates, leftovers, and dishes. Meanwhile, the waiter went back to the kitchen empty-handed countless times. Make your own Caipi: cool idea for 10.95 However, it requires two glasses of alcohol, a few limes, and a whopping 3 ice cubes. You make the Caipi with crushed ice. That's what it's all about; otherwise, you'd drink the schnapps with sugar and lime juice. I found that a real shame. The highlight, however, is that the entire park has two gentlemen, an army and a young lady, who come to each location and immediately survey the situation, clear away dishes, solve problems, are immediately available to every guest, and seem to optimize everything. So, the major problem areas seem to have already been identified. High praise at this point, and keep it up. I would give the restaurant 2.5 stars, as the ambiance, with the endlessly stacked dishes with leftovers and the small portions, and sometimes unavailable food, doesn't match the prices.

We ate during our stay. I'm vegetarian and really enjoyed the veggie casserole! So definitely vegetarian-friendly.

Got a slice of spareribs. For about 32 euros. The vegetables were literally a slice of onion. Portions were way too small. Everyone was still hungry afterward.

The food was fantastic, and the service was great! I had the chicken soup as a starter and the 275g steak, and our daughter had the three-course kids' menu, which she thoroughly enjoyed and looked lovely.

Nice restaurant, but the food is very mediocre. And if you're not careful, you'll also get ripped off with the nachos they offer. I definitely won't be going back.

Prices are high, as is the case throughout Centerparc. Compared to the snacks offered at other restaurants, the slightly higher price is acceptable. The service was top-notch – very attentive, friendly, fast, and flawless, and the food was also excellent. We loved it six years ago, and we're thrilled again now.

When we arrived we were immediately taken to the table, but it took quite a while before we were asked for drinks. We then had to ask for a card for the food ourselves. It also took a very long time before the order was taken, while people around us were helped quite quickly. The starter was fine, the carpaccio was extremely greasy. Several things went wrong with the main course, not all side dishes were there and they had not taken the order properly, which meant that one of us had to wait even longer for the food. The food that was available was lukewarm when it was delivered. When we said something about this, the missing food eventually arrived while everyone else had already finished their food. My dish from the grill arrived, and the waiter said it just came out of the oven so be careful. Strange when a dish is supposed to come off the grill. After this, the plates remained on our table for a long time and no one asked for dessert. So we just left.

Went to Fuego at the Eemhof a few years ago. It was a bit disappointing then. Now a new attempt at the Heijderbos. Were welcomed kindly and received popcorn with Tabasco. Nice for us, but not so for our 10 year old daughter. Drinks were arranged quickly and order was also taken quickly. As a starter we had baguette with aioli and herb butter. Was tasty but bread was cold. Would have been better/tastier if they had served it warm. For main daughter had a chicken skewer with pineapple, cherry tomatoes and fries. It was good and was well liked. Husband had salmon with potato wedges and chimichurri. This was also very tasty and a good portion. I had a schnitzel with mushroom sauce. I was afraid beforehand that it might be dry, but nothing could be further from the truth. Well cooked and very tasty. Portions were more than fine. We thought we would have a dessert beforehand, but we were quite full from the main course. All in all a great experience and would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful meal here tonight! We received a very friendly welcome and were immediately escorted to our table with delicious popcorn. Our order was quickly taken, followed by our appetizer. For our main course, we had the build-your-own burger. My girlfriend is pregnant, so her burger had to be well-done. This, too, was perfectly done. Not only did we receive truly delicious food, but we also received many compliments for the service.

It was a successful meal, deliciously eaten with the four of us, and I would definitely repeat it

Upon entering we were given bad tasting popcorn, which is very strange in my opinion. The service was unbelievably fast, almost as if the food was already prepared beforehand. I ordered the spareribs for €30, which were served cold. They were genuinely freezing cold, as if they just left the fridge. It was by far the worst rack of ribs I have ever consumed. I then spent the entire night vomiting profusely due to food poisoning. This pretty much ruined my trip because we had only booked for three days and I spent the entire second day recovering. I will never return to this restaurant let alone this Center Parcs. Please reconsider going here, this was genuinely disappointing, I was expecting a nice trip with my girlfriend but this ruined my entire trip and Christmas holiday.

Of course you don't expect culinary delights in this restaurant, but it was really not good and very expensive. 20 euros for a plate of nachos with a thick one layer of cheese and three dollops of sauce. And at Fuego they apparently prepare vegetarian burgers that no other restaurant in the Netherlands dares to serve.... Just skip it and do something yourself in your cottage make it tasty.

Ambience, staff great, food is just ok. Price line is simply too expensive. I'm happy to pay for good food, but the taste of the burger is ok, but for €25 I expect a lot more. I won't go here anymore. If so, I'll look for a restaurant outside the park. Then the whole thing is worth it or the price/performance ratio may be better because you don't have to pay the tourist allowance. Children's menu is a bit ridiculous for €18.50 Appetizer: 4-5 small mini cauliflowers (large hazelnut fried with 2 small mini corn strips. Main course: 3 meatballs and 2 mini sausages with 2 pieces of pepper on a skewer with some fries is probably a joke. It's nice that there's a fruit salad with it, but how is a child supposed to get full? Below 5 is ok but anything above that?

Unfortunately no hostess, but many staff who are busy working. So just wait patiently until you are taken to a table. Waited 40 minutes for the main course. The temperature was good. Small pieces on the mixed grill, but good in taste. Schnitzel with pearl onions, something different. All a bit too expensive. Friendly staff.

Contrary to most of the reviews here, we were very satisfied, we went there 3 times on vacation, we had burgers, schnitzel, steak and the grill plate. The latter was really a bit poor, but the rest was very good.

The food was very tasty.. reserved at 5:30 PM, food served at 7:15 PM... first report made at 6:30 PM, second report made at 7:10 PM.. Ordered 2nd round of drinks, waited at least 25 minutes for that too.. In the end we had a nice meal and didn't pay for 4 drinks, but I would never go here again… Around us there were tables full of plates that were not cleared, behind us those who had to wait a long time before they could order dessert... Food good, but if you wait that long, fries taste better!!

Delicious food, tender meat. we were with a large group and everyone was fed at the same time and we were regularly asked if everything was to their liking.

We were there as a group of 8 people. Given the prices quoted, we expected lavish plates, or at least good side dishes. On the grilled mix plate for €32 you could see more porcelain like food - the rice was about the size of half an ice cream ball. We received two bowls of fries for 8 people (even though everyone had ordered them) - according to the waiter, the reason was that fries are often thrown away. So we ask to bring a portion of fries to the table for everyone (as ordered and then paid for). We received 2 bowls of fries after 15 minutes. The food is consistently too expensive for quantity and quality. We always enjoy visiting Center Parks in DEU/NED several times a year - but we will avoid this restaurant in the future.

Atmosphere was good. Food was not very salty, I had spareribs which were fried black and salty. Add soggy vegetables. Mix grill was downright bad. Waitress said that's how it was supposed to be. Price-quality was nothing to write home about. Starters looked reasonable. Except for the chicken soup. Was also very minimal. I could have prepared better food with fresh products. Only the steak looked good. We will never return to this restaurant. It's better to eat outside the park at the factory in Heijen. Quality is just good there. Within reasonable walking distance.

I don't understand the other positive comments. I never complain in a restaurant, but the mix grill here was really sad. It just looked too sad. It was also immediately admitted by the staff, but that was it. Furthermore, we hardly ever saw the staff.

The food is fine. The service is friendly but disastrously bad. Shame. So you sit quietly for 20 to 30 minutes with an empty plate in front of you, orders don't come through, and the service is not interested in the customers. The waiter came with a story about understaffing, but after asking him to bring the desserts on time because of small children, he left us out in the cold again. DISGUSTING. The manager came to talk but could only indicate that this is not always the case and that things usually go well. I hope so for his sake.

A beautiful restaurant with good service, definitely recommended

So I can partly understand that some people complain about the prices. My tip is to take the grill arrangement then the price is very good and you can choose a three-course menu from the menu! On the other hand, we were probably lucky if you hear others say our food was very high quality and delicious 😋 so have fun and enjoy trying it out!!!!

What an expensive kitchen!!! 32 € for barely 150g of meat mixed grill. Steak that supposedly weighed 275g was less than 200g. Ribs were blackened! Portions of sauce much too small. Complete rip off if you decide not to leave the park. If Center Parcs continues like this it will definitely go bankrupt!!!!

We had reserved a table for six people in advance for my daughter's eleventh birthday. The ambience and the food more or less met our expectations, but the service absolutely not. Although the restaurant was really not well attended, it was made clear to us from the first moment that customers were actually not welcome. Not only was the tone and manner towards us almost outrageous, we could also observe the same thing at the tables next to us. The fact that there was of course no gesture or word to mark the celebratory occasion of our meal is almost no longer worth mentioning. So we went to the Grand Café straight after dinner and had a very nice evening there. As regular guests at Center Parcs Het Heijderbos, we can absolutely recommend Nonna’s. The prices at Nonna's are also on the higher side, but above all the service is incredibly good and the meal there becomes an unforgettable event that the entire family takes home from their vacation.

I can hardly understand the negative reviews, service was great, very caring. Had steak and it was juicy, tender and very tasty. Once you visit this Center Parc and you love steak, you should definitely visit Fuego.

The atmosphere was really nice, the staff was very friendly, What I can't recommend to anyone, the sparribs felt like they had a ton of not really good sauce on them. I tried a rib and it wasn't that good. The steak was completely tough with 4 pieces of meat, no longer a coincidence. The only thing that tasted good was the popcorn at the beginning.

The ambience and service was nice. But that's all the positive things there are to report. The food was bad. My daughter had a schnitzel that was fried and had a strange consistency. Because it was lying on top of the rest, it was also mushy. On the other hand, she really enjoyed the wedges side dish. My spare ribs were not fresh and marinated in a strange (way too much) marinade that I didn't like. Overall it took a very long time and the starter only came seconds before the main courses. And all of this for totally exorbitant prices. Schnitzel for €24.95, the spare ribs for an impressive €28.95. We were definitely here for the first and last time and don't dare go to another restaurant in this park because the reviews are mostly bad.

After an hour and a half we just got our starter. The food is tasty, but this is really too slow. To start with, we had to wait 10 minutes before we got a table. Bowl of super dry popcorn on the table. Then wait again... The staff is clearly not customer focused. You order a bottle of wine with a carafe of tap water, they say OK and then don't bring water because 'we don't do that'. With 4 people we received 3 starters and only after 15 minutes and 2 questions was the last dish brought. Waiting a very long time for the main course with dirty plates in front of you. Bored children are given pencils without points. The banana in the dessert was spoiled. Everything goes wrong. Do not do it.

Oh man... Unfortunately I can't recommend it. The meat from the hamburger is simply too compact and too dry. Fries were okay for that. Another time - You couldn't even chew a piece of the steak, it was just too tough. And the prices are simply too expensive. The service was good. But unfortunately very inflexible. You can't order drinks from the service that delivers the food - someone else had to come specifically for that. 2 stars is more than okay

It's really not as bad as some reviews are. Although I do notice that most of the bad reviews are German... we had a great meal there, the service was friendly and came by regularly. Not 5 stars because it is expensive for what you get.

What a dredging meal mixed grill I chose and the pork belly had touched the grill on 2 sides and was placed on the plate, the sausage was like a unox frankfurter and the vegetables that were served with it turned out to be a quarter of an onion. Had a delicious meal with my friends Danny and Danny, their mixed grill was really delicious, especially the sausage!

We definitely cannot recommend this restaurant. The schnitzel (for 25 euros) was inedible and tasted like fish. The burger patty was old and already dried out on the edges, and the salmon was tiny. Unfortunately, we were treated rather condescendingly and served unfriendly by the waiter. At least when we asked, the two uneaten dishes were removed from the bill. It's better to find a restaurant outside the park or cook yourself :-)

The food was delicious, prices are on the high side, but the food is excellent. The Spear of Fear for 2 people is recommended. The popcorn as an "amuse" of the house is not to be missed!

Food ok, service catastrophe!!! The food, like everything at Center Parcs, was very expensive. Considering the price level, the food was ok. If you compare the price/performance ratio with restaurants outside holiday parks, you would probably rate it even worse. The ambience was also ok, but not with attention to detail. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor, subterranean you could say. The lady who served us didn't seem to like her job very much and let us notice that. We tried several times to get their attention by waving and were simply ignored. This happened to us three times during our meal and each time it took between 5-10 minutes for the waitress to pay attention to us. Unfortunately I can't recommend it!

I don't know what people are thinking at these prices. We could have preferred to eat at the snack bar opposite. A banal schnitzel 25 euros! If it were freshly prepared/breaded it would be okay! But no - they were frozen schnitzels. The burger was also 25 euros - the “beef” was hard to describe what kind of meat it was, you couldn't see any fibers, it wasn't minced meat, it looked like sausage/liverloaf. 4 people 160 euros - went home hungry and very disappointed. Friendly and thoughtful staff. You can request additional side dishes. We had requested additional gratin but it was still in the oven for at least 10 minutes. The staff came up with an alternative themselves to ensure that we didn't have to wait too long! The food was tasty, well prepared and beautifully served.

Update October 2023: After we had a delicious meal in spring 2023, we were disappointed this time. The prices have become an average of €5 higher (which wouldn't be a bad thing if the quality and portions were the same) and the portions are smaller and of poorer quality. We were completely disappointed with the menu in the restaurant, some of which have the same names as in the spring but it is a different dish e.g. HolyMoly and the vegetarian Spears of Fear was also swapped. Why is a different map visible online? Spring 2023: We had a steak and the mixed grill platter, the meat was very tasty and wasn't marinated with spices so that you only taste them. As a starter we had the nachos and they were also very tasty. I can't understand some of the reviews either, the meat wasn't pressed meat and with a burger it's normal for the patty to be made from minced meat...

I don't really agree with some of the responses. We had a great meal here. Meat was wonderfully tender, it was indicated that we could order unlimited fries. Even though they were short on staff, we were helped politely and with a smile. Addition: the Banana crumble is an absolute must as a dessert!

Wow! It was quite an adventure. Where to start...? A restaurant was a quarter full and we checked an hour before closing to see if there was still room for us. Then it was said; let's see if there is still room.. hello your business is empty say what?!? Then the adventure really began... the map looks messy and busy. Still made a choice! And decided to share the food with our little Kids... well what we got? Three small measly pieces of meat, I would seriously be ashamed to have to serve this for 30 euros! A bowl of fries which to our knowledge had been reheated... three pieces of vegetables and simply served on a rather empty plate! We also ordered nachos, 20 euros for a bowl of chips with literally cheese on it... and a white beer costs 7 euros? Who on earth comes up with those prices?

Catastrophic! Children's menu only consists of canned fruit that is rotten and meatballs/sausages from the supermarket counter, nothing fresh! No excuse for poisoning a small child with it. 😡 Food for adults: First restaurant meal in my entire life that doesn't fill you up in the slightest, I usually have something left over for the second day every time. Completely overpriced even for a tourist resort. Not recommendable!

Von Anfang an bis Ende war es top. Man muss mit einer Schatzkarte und einer Laterne seinen Platz suchen. Dazu bekommt man direkt eine Schale Popcorn. Für Kinder ist es einfach so schön gemacht. Geschmack und auch das Personal waren super. Allerdings nur 4 Sterne aufgrund es des Preises. Wir waren bei 86 Euro leicht schockiert.

Echt een heerlijke avond. Burgers, biefstuk en ribs waren lekker. Niet bijzonder, maar wel echt lekker.

Eten was heel goed. Het duurde lang voordat we konden zitten en nog langer voordat we ons eten kregen. Sfeer van het restaurant is goed maar het podium ernaast wordt veel gebruikt en zorgt voor overlast.

Goed restaurant met een super vriendelijke bediening. Het eten zijn grote porties en de smaak is goed alleen de prijs is erg zeer hoog. €24,50 voor een burger met een portie friet.

Eerste avond van een weekje vakantie wezen eten. Lekker makkelijk uit eten, dan zijn de verwachtingen hoog. Helaas was het voor de hardwerkende burger bijna niet meer te betalen. Mijn vrouw had een biefstuk (super goed en mals) ik had de mixed grill, met vlees uit de vriezer. Worst uit blik en de biefstuk veels te droog. Rijst was koud en 1 friet werd niet geleverd. Geen toetje gegeten omdat de kinderen uitgeput waren. Ik snap wel dat het geen hoogstaand restaurant is, maar vraag dan ook €50,- ipv €100

Bediening is gezellig ondanks dat ze erg druk zijn. Eten was er snel en smaakte prima. Nachos vooraf zijn een aanrader! Spare ribs ook erg lekker.

Helemaal top ! Lekker gegeten goede porties en super vriendelijke bediening. Je ziet dat ze het druk hebben maar daar merk Je als gast niks van. Eten vrij vlot op tafel. Als je zeker wilt zijn van een plekje is reserveren wel handig. Dit kan je doen bijvoorbeeld bij aankomst voor de volgende dag !

Zwei kids Teller und zwei Burger für 96€. Das Essen schmeckte nicht schlecht, aber es ist grenzenlos überteuert. Das burgerpatty war ein undefinierbares pressfleisch ferttigpatty und dafür war der Preis vollkommen unangemessen. Ambiente und Service waren gut.

Centerparcs restaurant, goed eten, leuke aankleding en goede sfeer. Vriendelijke personeel, paar kleine dingen die fout gingen maar netjes opgelost. Complimenten voor de goede messen, lekker scherp en goed voor steaks. Nadeel is dat het duur is en er geen prijzen op de kaart staan.

Wir waren schon öfters in den Fuego Restaurants der Center Parcs Kette. Dieser hier war bisher der Schwächste. Obwohl kaum etwas los war mussten wir jeweils lange auf die Karten und Bedienung warten. Die Bedienung war scheinbar stark erkältet und es lief ihr aus der Nase. Sehr unschön. Die Spare Rips waren wirklich nicht gut. Wenig Fleisch und sehr faserich. Das alles zu richtig starken Preisen. Daher können wir nur zwei Sterne vergeben dieses Mal.

Om 17.15 uur binnen met 3 kleine kids (4, 2 en 0). Vriendelijk ontvangst. Voorgerechtjes gingen wel, ik zou ze een 7,5 geven. De garnalencocktail had in ieder geval wat smaak. De quesadillas waren aan de droge kant, ik zou ze zelf lekkerder maken. Daarna echt zo gigantisch lang op het hoofdgerecht moeten wachten. De tafel werd maar half afgeruimd. Hoofdgerecht: tournedos was goed (mag ook wel voor bijna 40 euro voor 200 gram), vlees mals, pepersaus wat smaakloos, maar oké. Spareribs waren volgens mijn man een 7-. Toetje niet eens geprobeerd, kids inmiddels moe, het was al na 19u. Ergste was dat er mensen zonder kids later binnenkomen en die hebben binnen no time 3 gangen geserveerd gekregen en weggewerkt, zoals wel meer mensen om ons heen. 150 euro afgetikt voor voorgerecht, hoofdgerecht, 2 drankjes pp met 2 volwassenen en 2 peuters die alleen een voorgerecht aten en een hoofdgerecht deelden. Echt te gek voor wat het was. Jammer.

Bewertung angepasst. Vor anderthalb Jahren waren wir hier, für den Besuch hatte ich noch 4 Sterne vergeben. Jetzt hatten wir hier erneut gegessen. Speisen wurden vergessen und eine wurde falsch gebracht. Steak Medium war schon so gut wie kalt und auch ziemlich zäh. Fürs Kind hatten wir Hackbällchen bestellt, geschmacklich waren die Bällchen eher Richtung Fertigware einzuordnen. Und generell hat das Restaurant einen unorganisierten Eindruck gemacht. Obwohl es nicht voll war 2 Sterne gibt es dennoch für die netten Servicekräfte. Aber ganz ehrlich, für die Preise kann man außerhalb viel besser essen.

Preis für ein Bürger 25€. Das sagt schon alles.

Het eten is erg lekker, maar nog veel belangrijker; het personeel is fantastisch! Ondanks een zieke in onze groep konden we een gerecht annuleren en werd er een hoofdgerecht warm gehouden. Het personeel van 14-3 snapt precies wat gastvrijheid en service is. Dit zijn toppers en voor ons de reden waarom wij hier ieder jaar met veel plezier terug komen. In het bijzonder Gitty! Deze vrouw is goud waard! Mensen als haar zorgen voor een kers op de taart! Dank je wel namens de groep van 10!

Auf jedem Fall zu empfehlen: Fleisch zart und saftig, Coctails zum selbermixen top, Personal sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder

Spear of fear was fear of we er wel genoeg àan hadden ook meteen en bakje friet bijbesteld maar toen eten al op was moesten we er nog om vragen. Op zich eten smaakte goed was wel niet erg warm Die jean was zeer vriendelijk

17 Uhr betreten wir das Restaurant, 2 Burger & 1x Chickenwings später verlassen wir das Restaurant in 17:33 Uhr wieder. In der Zeit haben wir Platz genommen, Speisen ausgesucht, diese aus der Küche erhalten, in Teilen gegessen, haben bezahlt und waren mit den Servicekräften sehr zufrieden. Qualität des Burgers war okay, das Fleisch darin war es nicht - es wirkte viel zu sehr wie Formfleisch. Pommes waren erneut das Highlight, weil der Rest einfach nicht besser war.

Servicekräfte waren nett und die Location optisch super. Leider mussten wir zwei Stunden aufs Essen warten. Das Burgerfleisch schmeckte leider überhaupt nicht und auch die Belagen waren nicht gut.

Eten was lauw en 1 ding zelfs koud deze Terug gestuurd. Kregen deze wel warm terug. Smaak was prima en bediening top. Wel lang moeten wachten op hoofdgerecht.

Uit onze ervaring was er niet heel veel onrust maar er zat wel een aardig prijsje aan wel hele aardige bediening

Zwar etwas teuer, aber klasse Speisen.

Voor ons 10 jarig samenzijn, hebben wij hier heerlijk gegeten! Ze hadden het opgeleukt met ballonnen en we werden zelfs verrast met een toetje, gezang, muziek en sterretjes. Echt Ge-wel-dig! Hartelijk bedankt!

Een van de betere restaurants van het park, helaas in het verleden wel beter gegeten. Spare ribs waren taai en droog, smaak was wel goed. Churros leken niet vers maar diepvries variant?

Heerlijk gegeten van een goede hamburger, en lekkere spareribs. Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening.
