Nonna's in Wijk 04 Heijen

What a complete disgrace. The pizza was cold, tough, and so poorly topped that even a frozen pizza would be embarrassed. The lasagna was absolutely ridiculous: hard chunks of puff pastry. Absolutely disgusting and completely incomprehensible. All of this for an absurdly high price. This isn't food; this is a money-grabbing scam. Never again. Save yourself the frustration and definitely don't eat here. We had two pizzas and one lasagna and were charged €60. We threw everything away and heated up some soup.

The pizza looked good, but tasted like nothing. The prices were outrageously expensive. The staff was okay.

The waiter was very nice and polite, as was the staff in general, but the food was a disaster, especially for the price. A lasagna cost €20 and it was barely 2x2 cm. Best to avoid!

We were there and were greeted by a quirky nonna. Two pizzas and the cannelloni arrived very quickly, a little too quickly. A well-prepared chain restaurant, but unfortunately, the food suffers and isn't worth the price.

Disappointing. Pizza: 30cm thin crust with almost no toppings. Paid almost 40 euros for two meager pizzas. I should have paid an extra 5 euros for 6 chicken breasts and 5 jalapeño slices. My advice: go get something in town.

By far the worst Italian restaurant I've ever visited in my 40 years of living. Center Park would do well to finally work on the quality of its restaurants.

The best pizza and lasagna I've ever eaten in the Netherlands

We, three adults and a two-year-old girl, thoroughly enjoyed delicious pizzas and the very friendly and attentive staff. They were very helpful, the food was ready quickly, and we had a great time! Highly recommended!

2 pizzas for €43, limited to a child's size... Not at all the size of a regular pizza. Excessively priced and ridiculously small.

Good atmosphere, but I've rarely eaten such a good-looking yet tasteless pizza. No spices, let alone herbs, in the pizza sauce. It was crispy. The appetizer stack (2 people = €32) was good, but there was far too little bread for the amount of toppings. They could have added another €8. Oh well. We won't go there again.

Very expensive for very mediocre food.

The pizzas were good and filling. In other words, the size was right. No frozen food. The only thing was the price...but you know that beforehand. So I can't understand some of the reviews!

I ordered spaghetti carbonara — they brought it quickly, but it was a huge portion of undercooked imitation spaghetti. It seemed like the pasta had been reused and reheated. Eating it was disgusting. My wife ordered pasta with fish. As a result, she got food poisoning the next day.

We had the salami pizza and the magherita pizza, both of which were delicious. The waitress was friendly and the food came very quickly. Unfortunately, the ambiance isn't that nice; it's dated and very dark.

Tried the pizza here and honestly... it just didn’t do it for me. The crust was okay — not bad, not great, just kind of there. But the biggest issue? There was no sauce. Like, zero. It made the whole thing feel dry and kind of empty. Honestly pretty good atmosphere and service thats about it honestly.

I think I had the best pizza I've ever had tonight! The atmosphere is great and the staff are clearly eager to make an effort.

I will definitely not come back here. It was not bad but certainly not good, very expensive for what you get. 20€ for an ordinary spaghetti, 19€ for a pizza? Crazy. We are not in Venice, are we?

We got three pizzas – 2 salami, 1 Quattro Stagioni. The taste was okay, but the quality was rather standard. What surprised us: over €56 for three fairly small pizzas with simple ingredients. Other guests mentioned a family deal (2 large + 2 small for €43) – but it wasn't advertised anywhere. The price would have been perfectly reasonable. So the impression remains: solid pizza, but not fair value. Even in touristy places in Italy, you'll pay less.

We ate there twice out of our five-night stay and took food with us once. It was incredibly delicious and everyone was super friendly.

That 2.9 is old hat. Some time ago they made huge improvements to the quality. Homemade pasta and pizza bases. You get a big portion of pasta that is cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. They are generous with the amount and very polite. Was a great experience! Thanks to the chef and the service (really super nice!!)

The takeaway pizzas. For the price you can expect something. The bottom: great! The topping; fine The ingredients: very little. Four slices of salami on a pizza for more than 18 euros? That's economical. The taste is good, pizza very dry and, especially for the money, too sparsely topped. Staff very nice and service fast. Great for a holiday park.

Nonna's food came from the supermarket. Nothing was home made. The server admitted as much. In addition, very high prices. We really got scammed.

Insufficient price/performance ratio

After 10 minutes in line outside the store to be taken to the seat (reserved) and 25 more minutes without being served, left the store.

We liked it. Pizza was good, kids Mac and cheese was very flavorful. Service was fast, attentive, and nice. Atmosphere is super cute with the decor. Food was definitely over priced, but we're in a resort so what can you expect..? Can't understand the reviews, this is a great little place.

We think this is a wonderful way to end a day at Center Parcs.

Very tasty meal. Carpaccio was very tasty. The main courses were also very tasty and well seasoned. Will come by with parmesan cheese to top it off. Staff very friendly!

Food was ok... but we all got the wrong food twice.... They also didn't care about the desire to leave out the capers. The people sitting next to us at the table didn't want any capers either and they were forced to put them under the tuna. The soup that was given back was simply dumped back into the large soup pot. A disgrace for the money!!!

For a Centerparcs it is a tasty Italian, homemade dough. Quite pricey. But good to eat. Nonna really cares about her business! Tip: the backrest of the chair was no longer properly screwed down.

The hostess was very nice, arranged a table even though we had not made a reservation. The tagliatelle was not really cooked the first time. The second time it did, but it tasted like almost nothing. Barely any sauce in it. And that for almost 20 euros. The pizzas were very average. Pizzas tonno and pizza shawarma and pizza salami because we ran out of pepperoni. It was not distributed properly. It was full on the left, barely anything on the right... the tomato sauce tasted like tomato puree. The soil was tasty and so was the wine. But there was hardly any toppings on the pizzas and not really mmm The prize is really the main prize. Conclusion: not much good

We were initially put off by the reviews, but still wanted to give the restaurant a chance. Fortunately! We were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the prices are rather high, but that's just the CP level and the prices in Holland are a little higher than in Germany anyway. We took the family offer for €43 with a choice of 2 large pizzas and 2 children's pizzas. We found the price more than okay. The pizzas look great and we liked them so much that we ate at Nonnas again at the end of our vacation :) Would definitely recommend it!

Expensive restaurant in Centerparcs, interior gives you a feeling of a pancake house. Fast operation. Price-quality ratio is not correct. Well priced. A freshly warm roll from the oven is missing. A glass of wine is served just below the minimum volume. It's disappointing. Fortunately, there were 2 of us, so the bill wasn't too high. The food was of good temperature, but just a little lacking in taste. This also applies to the herb butter as a starter. It's all a bit lame. Maybe because there are many families eating with children?

The shocker comes at the end!! As in previous years, the food was rather passable. Everything is too expensive, but you can't expect anything else at Center Parc. The pizzas taste okay, but the pasta doesn't taste like anything. There are pictures for children to color and the service is very friendly. Unfortunately, after quite some time and demand, the drinks took a long time to arrive and the worst for last: A mouse (!!!!) was crawling from one side to the other on the air conditioning under the roof; this could be observed from several tables. Hygienically an absolute no go! It's better to cook in the bungalow at Center Parc or be prepared for expensive disappointment.

Saw all the reviews and was surprised couldn't imagine it would be that bad. But unfortunately that was the food. Pizzas have almost no tomato sauce on them. Cheese tastes weird. Garlic sauce from the shawarma pizza tastes strange. Hostess Nonna was super friendly. Was very surprised that the food was not tasty. 4 drinks were deducted from the voucher as a compensation.

Margherita pizza was bad. Didn't taste any cheese, tomato sauce was sweet and tasted like applesauce. No service could speak German.

Went to Center Parcs for a wonderful midweek, where we were recommended to go to Nonna's. Ordered pasta carbonara. This was really completely tasteless. Staff did indicate that these were made without salt and pepper, but even then it doesn't get any better. Then got a salmon pizza. Unfortunately my tastes do not suit this restaurant. Next year I will be in Heijderbos, but not in this restaurant!

Contrary to other reviews, we had a delicious meal here several evenings! Nonna looks like she enjoys her work. The pizzas were very tasty, fresh and hot.

Booked a midweek trip to Center Parcs with my girlfriend. And we had a wonderful meal here. The food is delicious and the service is very fast and very friendly. Really great, partly thanks to this restaurant, we will come back again.

Fantastic hostess, creates a lot of atmosphere! Quickly served and well thought out with the grabby hands of our 9 month old table companion. Food was fine, nothing special… but the experience was great!

In general, the price level of the restaurants at Center Parcs is now quite high. But a dinner at Nonna's is a great experience for the whole family that you will remember fondly even after your vacation and is therefore worth the money. The menu is what you would expect from an Italian eatery and offers delicious dishes for children and adults. The restaurant is lively and the children in particular get a lot of attention from Nonna and the service staff. We have visited there several times in the last few years, each time absolutely satisfied and look forward to coming back.

Worst pizza in a long time. Noisy and poor value for money. Not again

The reviews really don't lie. We had a pizza tonno and pizza pepporoni. The distribution of the ingredients proves difficult. The salami had too much cheese, the tuna was poorly distributed, making the pizza too greasy and too soft. Let's not get started on the price... find better staff!

My family and I walked in at 5:30pm to find a table. I kindly asked if we could have a table. The lady just laughed in my face. I have never quite felt so sad for humanity. What a strange culture that they think it’s ok to laugh at you when they cannot offer a service…. The Resturant was completely empty but they were „fully reserved“ weird 😐

Staff is anything but friendly. We had made a reservation and were assigned a table from the gate. “There” was our place. We then waited a long time until someone came to ask what we wanted to drink and to bring us the menu. Starter was on the table within 2 seconds, the soup came from a warming pan, like you see on a buffet, so that meant tapping it and putting it on the table... we then had to wait half an hour for the main course and the dessert was didn't come. We called several times and asked if they could take our empty plates and if we could immediately order a dessert, but after 45 minutes you're fed up with that. There was plenty of attention for tables with more than 2 people seated. We didn't feel welcome at all and got up and left Not normally expensive. (2x soup, 2x spaghetti, coke and a beer for €80) Glad we left without dessert! We don't come here anymore.

Ate at Nonna's 3 days ago. Nice reception. Didn't make a reservation but did their best to find a table. We were also very kindly helped to keep our impatient baby busy, for example, the waitress came with a baby book. Pizza was tasty and price-quality ratio was top. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, fortunately they are not put off by rude guests. We'll go back soon to see if they still have a table available. Greetings to the Star Laurel family

Wait, wait and wait again. Understaffed I suspect, although it could also be the staff who were basically just muddling about aimlessly like headless chickens. You almost had to explode a bomb next to Zen to get their attention. Bad actually. It's also time that they start asking when ordering drinks whether you want a large or small one. If you forget, you will find yourself with half a liter of coke in front of you. Pizzas were not too tasty but were extremely messy and made quickly. Everything is in a pile, toppings are irregularly distributed over the pizza. And the next night I was on the potty, stomach cramps until...

The food we had was ok 1x lasagne 1x carabonara 1x meat with ratatouille + 1x ice tea, 2x water and 1 non-alcoholic beer For 92€ The service was so-so, the girls never knew what to do with the food. What really bothered me/us was that THE COOK was sick and had nothing better to do than cough on almost every meal…. 😡 She was constantly making herself something to eat, licking her fingers and then using her fingers to place the arugula and the note with the order on the pizzas. She went into the kitchen twice to make tea with honey. I have nothing against it if you're sick, it happens, but if you're as sick as you are, then you should stay at home. I find this behavior extremely selfish, I'm sorry!!!! We don't go there anymore.

Worst meal we 15 people each had

Overpriced prices are disproportionate to what you get. Some of the food was of poor quality and the pizza was burnt. The only positive thing was the older service. Once and never again. Not recommendable

The portions are far too small for these prices. The children's pizzas were burnt. The cocktail tomatoes in the salad were very soft/mushy. Most of it has been repaired, but the sizes have not changed

There is no relationship between price and performance. 17€ for a pizza on 1mm thin dough that no one can eat is a disgrace. The taste is okay, the staff is super nice, but unfortunately that doesn't help with the quality either.

The atmosphere and quality of the food were decent, though of course pricing is quite high as is typical for resort establishments. Unfortunately we had to wait for nearly 1.5 hours before our main finally arrived, (we each ordered the salmon risotto, which is roughly 30 euros pp). Waitresses were friendly and service was not bad apart from the waiting time. Puzzled at what could have taken so long but nevertheless an unfortunate circumstance that put a significant damper on our evening.

I don't really understand the bad reviews, but at a Nonna's from Center Parcs we usually stick to the safe choice, pizza, and it is tasty. I would not dare to try the other options here given the less positive reviews. But again, it's cozy and the service is very friendly, so I certainly wouldn't advise against it.

The food here always tastes good. The staff is always friendly and the food usually comes to the table quickly. The prices here are of course a bit high, but you actually know that beforehand when you go to a Center Parcs.

The only things you could eat were drinks and bread! The bread with the dip that my husband ordered wasn't cut, which isn't that bad, I took the bread down and a waiter came straight away and took the plate with the dips without asking. We had = salami pizza, cabonara, bolongnese, magerita pizza and lasagna. Everything not edible pizza sloped down to the floor and didn't taste like anything and de Bono and Cabonara were dry and didn't taste like anything either. (Pepper and salt didn't help us either) Lagsane tasted completely artificial. The prices were very high! We wouldn't have even paid half for what we got. As we were leaving, we noticed that guests had been turned away in front of the restaurant. Apparently there was nothing going on and it was decided to simply close the restaurant. We told people they were lucky.

The culinary presentation reveals a significant discrepancy between the proclaimed demands and the actual quality of the food. The flavor consistency of the meals delivered proved to be inadequate, compromising culinary enjoyment to an extent that would not be expected from an established catering business. In addition, the portion size is considered inadequate, which results in the guests not being full. The pricing for a pizza, which amounts to around €17, turns out to be blatantly excessive compared to industry standards. Such a price calculation is disproportionate to the quality and quantity of the food delivered. In view of these serious deficiencies and taking into account the financial burden on customers, a visit to this gastronomic establishment is unfortunately not recommended. It must be questioned to what extent the propagated standards and promises are kept in reality. Supporting such an establishment that creates the impression of unfair business practices should be done carefully. It remains to be hoped that an examination of the above-mentioned deficiencies and an adequate adjustment of the gastronomic practices will be considered in order to meet the demands and expectations of the demanding clientele.

At the beginning of the store we got the first table in a group of 6, but while others were already paying and leaving the store we continued to wait for our food. We waited an unbeaten 1.5 hours for our pizza! Nobody came and said anything about being late or anything like that. This is crazy and it's a disgrace that they only got the food from the restaurant next door. After waiting for 2 hours we left the store without seeing any food…

We had already been to this restaurant at CP Vossemeren and had actually sworn we would never go there again. The atmosphere here is really nice, even if it sometimes looks too intentional. The staff is very friendly. We didn't eat pizza this time, just ordered one for our son. We had lasagne and cannelloni. The pasta dishes were really quite good. But we will never understand why people put such terrible processed cheese on pizza instead of mozzarella or at least Gouda. That's pretty nasty. Conclusion: OK for pasta dishes, but please never eat pizza! The prices are also outrageously high, but the alternatives in Center Parcs are worse, with the main restaurant paying €40 per person. for an “all-in” buffet… even children aged 3 and over pay.

Never had such a bad pizza for the price

Each restaurant sets its own evaluation criteria with its prices. The prices in this location are far too high for what is on offer. The Nutella pizza tastes like Nutella on a crispbread, you could have hurt yourself because the dough was so hard. The carbonara was tasteless and the sauce was diluted with water. The pizza salami didn't taste good at all. The drink prices are also too high. The decor is simple, the service is friendly but not commensurate with the prices. We will not visit the restaurant again and are used to miles of differences in taste, furnishings and quality in comparable restaurants.

We were generally satisfied 🍕🍝 Service was very friendly and attentive. At least we enjoyed the pizza, and yes it is not an original Italian pizza... Our little robber also liked the noodles. Our son got a drawing with pens to color in, which we thought was very nice.

Ik snap echt niet waar alle negatieve recensies vandaan komen. Wij hadden echt een super leuke tijd! Het eten was heerlijk, de porties precies genoeg, het decor is heel mooi en service is ook super! We hebben zelfs een fooi achter gelaten. Het was wel heel erg druk voornamelijk veel gillende kinderen. Maarja moet je ook wel verwachten rond 17:00 in een familie park. Het tafeltje waar we aan zaten was een beetje aan de kleine kant maar wel heel gezellig. Tip voor je bezoek: Reserveer rond 19:00/19:30 dan koelt het een beetje af kwa kinder drukte.

Der Service war gut vorallem sehr kinderfreundlich die Kinder bekommen gleich ein Blatt zum malen und an den Tischen sind malstifte. Allerdings haben wir uns bei dem Essen mehr versprochen Für die Pizza 17 Euro fand ich sehr viel. Es gab auch nicht viel Auswahl. Meine Lasagne war sehr fettig. Die Nudeln von meinen Sohn waren ok.

In tegenstelling tot de meeste recensies hebben wij ons bezoek aan Nonna's als prima ervaren. De pasta was lekker en ook de pizza viel in de smaak. Personeel erg vriendelijk. Prijzen inderdaad aan de dure kant, maar dat is met alles zo op Center Parcs.

Je kreeg een pannetje bij de pasta met zalm aan tafel werd kaas geraspt. Erg lekker! Naar verhouding mag er wat meer rucola in maar smaakte goed

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hat uns oft gefragt, ob wir etwas brauchen. Zeit gut verbracht!)

Wir sind aufgrund der vielen negativen Bewertungen mit sehr niedrigen Erwartungen ins Restaurant gekommen und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Wartezeit auf das Essen nicht sehr lang und die Pizza hat wirklich hervorragend geschmeckt. Das Dessert auch. Die Pasta haben wir nicht probiert. Die Preise sind schon ordentlich aber das weiß man im Centerparc ja vorher. Wir empfehlen das Nonna‘s definitiv.

Ik wou toch even een positieve review schrijven, na alles wat ik hier las. Wij zijn hier na een dagje zwemmen komen eten. Service heel vriendelijk en de pizzas echt superlekker. Wij hebben hier echt weinig op aan te merken en zouden absoluut opnieuw langskomen.

Pizza’s en pasta was heerlijk, bediening ook super. Zeker een aanrader

2x heerlijk gegeten deze afgelopen dagen, ik had zalm met risotto rijst, smaakte heerlijk, mocht enkel wat meer risotto rijst bij zitten. Verder was de bediening vlot en vriendelijk, kinderen vonden de pizza en lasagne heerlijk.

Goeie pizza’s en lasagne, rijk gevuld en goeie porties. Leuke sfeer, aardige en snelle bediening. Andere reviews begrijp ik niet!
