A really lovely and cozy place! We arrived without a reservation and it was absolutely packed, but despite the crowds, they were incredibly helpful and accommodating. A big thank you to Nour in particular! She was incredibly friendly and helpful, and made sure we could still get a spot on the terrace. It is truly the kind of wonderful service and hospitality that stays with you and makes you want to come back.

I really liked the place! The service is top-notch, the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, everything is fresh and well-prepared. I would like to separately mention the beautiful view and pleasant atmosphere. Overall, I liked everything, I will visit again with pleasure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went for a drink and a small bite with my mother. The view is amazing! We got served by Greece’s finest waiters Kleopatra and Manos, with whom we’ve had a few great conversations. Very warm and kind hospitality! Their suggestions for snacks and drinks were a great match to our preferences. Greeks do absolutely know the best about hospitality work! We will absolutely come back, and we will be disappointed if the same waiters won’t be there. We love you guys!! Thank you so much for everything!!

The welcome was fine, but the service was deplorable. I felt like I was bothering the waitresses; they spoke curtly and somewhat rudely. Foreigners are not welcome here. It's a shame.

✨ Beautiful view, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite match it. I really wanted to give this restaurant a try and even called in advance to ask about booking a table. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone. When we arrived, there were tables available on the terrace that didn’t appear to be reserved, but we were told we could only sit inside. The communication from the staff was also quite confusing — we were initially told to choose a table, but then one table was suddenly “not available,” while another waiter said it was available. A few details also made the experience less comfortable. The “card only” sign was very difficult to notice — white text on a white wall with just a small amount of orange. The menu didn’t clearly mention all the ingredients in the dishes, which is something I personally think should be communicated better. We ordered Chinese dumplings, but they were almost completely covered in sauce, and unfortunately the sauce was extremely salty. The mocktail was also served with so much ice that there was very little drink left. There was also nowhere convenient to hang our jackets or place our bags, which made sitting inside less comfortable. That being said, I have to mention the view — this is definitely the highlight of the place. 🌅 It’s genuinely beautiful and creates a lovely atmosphere. Overall, I think the restaurant has a lot of potential, especially because of the location and view, but there are several small details in the service, communication, menu and food that could really be improved.

What a waste of this location; I really wonder who the owner is. My girlfriend and I arrived just after opening time, and the bar/restaurant was almost empty. No one to welcome us. So we walked on, took a quick look around, and took a few photos on the terrace outside—still nothing. It didn't feel right, so I left and walked on to Restobar Vista, where we had a delicious meal.

The food was good, but be ready for small portions. We had in mind to get dessert and a liqueur. We received our drinks and waited. I drank it slowly, awaiting the dessert and still had half of the small amount in my glass when a server attempted to remove my glass. We asked twice for the desserts and when they finally arrived after 40 minutes, one was curdled (milk and lemon/lime) and we called the server to take it back. Also the second desert was not good and we did not have to pay for them. The servers are friendly, but not organized/coordinated. It appears that they all served all tables, but insufficiently communicated. We also saw guests leaving again after a long while, as they did not get served. Would not go back as the experience was unpleasant.

Exceptional service and stuff. The Host welcomed us with a smile and gave us the best possible table since we didn’t have a reservation. So I recommend if you want to sit at at a table of your preference to reserve one day before! The food was tasty and there are plenty of options! I asked the bartender to make a cocktail on his own and it was exactly what I wanted. The waitress was very friendly and guide us though the menu!

The classic cocktails are not made according to the original recipes. The music comes to a point where is too loud. The staff was fast and friendly.

We tried this bar again after a less-than-stellar previous experience. Same bad service. You have to hope you're allowed to order something. It takes fifteen minutes for your drinks to arrive. When paying, there was no one around to be seen who could handle the bill; the staff all pointed at each other. When we left the place, we politely said goodbye to the "hostess" but didn't get a word back. Never again. We received a response from the accommodation, but nobody was too busy; a number of people were just loitering around doing nothing. When leaving, the "hostess" surely saw us leaving but simply ignored us and turned around. Very uninterested and not worthy of being a hostess. As mentioned, this was our second unpleasant experience at this place. Never again.

Shared dining was lovely; the menu was a bit small, but there was enough tasty choice to ensure a good variety of dining. We went as a group of three on a Friday evening. When making the reservation, a deposit of €10 per person was required, which was deducted from the final bill after dinner. To be honest, I think that is a very logical way to ensure fewer no-shows. The location is absolutely beautiful; parking is available nearby at the Q-Park or further down the street. It offers a view of the Rotterdam skyline and the Erasmus Bridge. Unfortunately, the service was a bit disappointing; we had some trouble understanding our hostess, who spoke English with a distinct accent. Additionally, she never came to our table to ask if everything was to our liking, although a few times other colleagues came by who happened to be serving or were walking past. The atmosphere was very pleasant at the beginning of the evening, with nice background music, and we could understand each other well. A little later in the evening, from around 8 o'clock, quite a lot of loud music suddenly started coming from behind us. It turned out there was a salsa night taking place in the same room; as a result, we could barely hear each other, and at the same time, we could also hear the music from the restaurant section. If we had known this beforehand, we would not have gone to eat at Elvy's that evening. All in all, we had a positive and pleasant evening with delicious food.

The view was beautiful, but it took ages before we were served, or rather, we eventually left.

A racist bar. My Indian boyfriend and I came without booking for a table on the terrace and the woman working there took a long time thinking (probably hesitating) before telling us that we can’t sit there but we can stay for maximum one hour inside. We got a small table at the entrance. A couple with a Middle Eastern looking man came behind and the woman said the same as us to them, but once this European looking couple entered, they specified that they want to sit on the terrace and didn’t book either, that woman working there said it’s no problem, she gave them the seats on the terrace. Not talking about the waitresses there too! We wanted to drink but they are more focused on walking like they are modelling that taking care of their clients! Anyway I decided to leave after seeing racism at its peak.

The Staff were fine but very unprofessionell. I ordered a drink and asked to replace ginger ale by ananas Juice. First i got a wrong drink. AT the end got Charged 6 euros for the juice without telling me abt it previously. The drinks were ok nothing spezial. The view is the Highlight.

We came to the bar and wanted to go inside. We got told to leave because it’s „full“. When it actually wasn’t full. Eventually we came inside and got a table. But the staff were really not welcoming, the hostess’s was the only one who was polite. After asking for sitting outside, because there was a lot of places free, we couldn’t go outside. After 40 min sitting inside, we could go outside, at the table that was already free. We’re definitely not comming back again. The view was nice. The view is truly beautiful. I definitely recommend it, especially for those who want to take photos for Instagram. It's a great place to sip your drinks while enjoying the bridge view. The drinks were good, and the snacks were also very good. The prices are quite reasonable for a place with such a view. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I was very satisfied with the service. It's definitely one of my favorite places in Rotterdam for a bridge view, you must visit! Check the opening hours I mentioned before you go; we waited for it to open and had to linger a bit to sit at another place.

We decided to go to this place in Rotterdam after seeing it online. We didn't have a reservation, but we easily found a table. It was moderately crowded when we arrived. The atmosphere and ambiance were truly lovely. The view, in particular, offers a wonderful setting for enjoying a pleasant time. The waiters were also very helpful and friendly. We ordered three different non-alcoholic cocktails (mocktails). We also opted for snacks such as french fries and chips. The presentation and taste of the drinks were excellent. We also enjoyed the snacks. It's a beautiful place where you can enjoy the view and take plenty of photos. Overall, we were pleased with the atmosphere, the drinks, and the attentiveness of the staff. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Rotterdam for a pleasant time.

I was also told there were no outdoor seats available, yet the customers who arrived right after me were seated outside. I felt like I was being treated differently. This level of service was extremely disappointing, and I hope appropriate action is taken regarding this employee. I made eye contact with the employee several times, but instead of showing me to a table, he was on his phone. Ultimately, I was seated much later, and everyone who arrived after me had their orders taken while I was completely ignored. Furthermore, the employee continued to use his phone instead of taking my order, and eventually, another employee did. I was also told there were no outdoor seats, but everyone who arrived immediately after me was seated outside. I felt I was treated differently. This service was extremely disappointing, and I hope appropriate action will be taken against this employee.

What a fantastic evening we had at Gastrobar Elvy! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with incredible hospitality by the entire team and completely taken care of. Special thanks to Gina, who looked after us perfectly all evening. She kept us constantly updated, thought along with us, and regularly asked if everything was to our liking. Thanks to her attention, involvement, and eye for detail, truly everything was arranged down to the last detail. The service was of an exceptionally high standard and ensured that we could enjoy ourselves to the fullest. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

This place sucks We went for a birthday party, reserved weeks in advanced. When we got there, the host told us to just sit at the lounge chairs even tho we were a group of 14 people. Luckily we were able to get a table to seat everyone, but only after asking a few times. The waitress who served us was incredibly nice and patient, I really appreciate her service. I’m not sure of her name but it’s the girl with the septum piercing. Other than her service, the food and drinks were alright. The atmosphere was uglier than you’d imagine for a rooftop bar right next to the Rotterdam bridge. It also sucks that you don’t get service outside, the whole point of a rooftop bar is to look at the view outside!!!! Please do a better job of taking the reservations seriously. Especially if someone specifies if it’s a birthday, it’s clearly an important date to some people.

A very nice place to enjoy the view. The day we went, it was a bit windy, so they didn't allow food or drinks outside, but we were still able to go in to enjoy the view and take photos. The Italian waiter at the entrance was super nice. It's nice to meet people from your own country every now and then. The other waiters were also very attentive to our needs.

I am not quick to give a negative review. The food was very tasty, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing, which affected my overall experience. When I asked how long it would take for the food and drinks to be served, I was told that the drinks would arrive first and the food within 10 to 20 minutes. The food was indeed served within the indicated time, but my drink only arrived after I had already started my meal. Additionally, I missed the usual attentiveness from the wait staff. Little attention was paid to the guests in the establishment, and I had to take the initiative myself several times to place an order or speak to a staff member. For instance, I waited about 20 minutes to order an extra drink, but no one came by to ask if everything was to my liking or if I wanted to order anything else. What I also found striking is that not every staff member seemed to be able to take orders. When a staff member came to bring my food and drinks, I could not place an additional order with him and had to wait for another colleague who was authorized to do so. As a result, the waiting time increased further and the service became unnecessarily cumbersome. I do want to emphasize that the waiter was friendly and polite. My criticism is therefore not meant personally. Despite his friendly demeanor, the service did not meet the expectations I have of a restaurant in this category. That is a shame, because the quality of the food actually deserves a higher rating. I hope that in the future more attention will be paid to the organization of the service, as well as to the selection, training, and guidance of the staff, so that the service aligns better with the quality of the cuisine. Otherwise, I would have gladly given 5 stars.

False advertising regarding World Cup event Unfortunately, they are really not customer-oriented here. Gastrobar Elvy had announced via social media that they would be showing the opening ceremony of a World Cup and the first match between Mexico and South Africa. Despite us politely asking multiple times for the sound to be turned on, we were simply ignored without any further feedback. We were with a large group of 30 to 35 Mexicans with various reservations. As a last resort, we spoke to the manager for that evening about this, but we were laughed at regarding our request. We received the answer: "I don't know what the intention was with this, I would have to check, I think we were just supposed to have it in the background." Subsequently, we announced that we would leave alone if the sound was not turned on, and no attention was paid to listening to us as customers. This is really a shame because they had set up a nice area of ​​the gastrobar with a large screen and comfortable sofas and chairs around several tables for different groups so that we alone would have a good view of the screen.

We did not feel welcome; no one was willing to try to accommodate us. Supposedly all seats were reserved, but there were many empty tables.

Ended the day with fellow directors at G-Elvy. The service is very good, the view is beautiful, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

The gentleman at the entrance says you can enjoy your drinks on the terrace, while the bartenders don’t allow it. Extremely bad experience, especially if you are a smoker who is seeking an unhealthy moment of pleasure along with a drink while admiring beautiful Rotterdam. 🔑LATER EDIT: the shift manager came to our table and kindly told us a miscommunication happened, thus we are allowed to go out with the drinks and offered the round of drinks on the house. Cheers to the management, the rating turned from 1 to 5 stars really quick haha.

We really liked this bar. I celebrated my birthday here. They signed a card for me. Kevin served us, which is why the holiday was unforgettable because the individual approach and accurate advice are exactly what I expected. The dishes are extremely tasty, I'm just shocked - this is probably the most delicious food I've eaten in Rotterdam. The recommended drinks went well with the dish. I was very disappointed with this place. I came to Rotterdam to celebrate my birthday and chose Elvy, which turned out to be a mistake. When making the reservation, I mentioned in the comments that it was my birthday, expecting a nice table with a beautiful view. When I entered the restaurant, I expected to see the atmosphere and interior shown on Instagram, but instead I saw an old interior, artificial flowers, and overall the atmosphere was disappointing. I expected to sit near the window and enjoy the terrace view, but instead I had to look at it through another couple sitting in front of us. The entrance to the terrace was closed, so it was impossible to go outside and take nice photos. My mood was ruined. We decided to stay and at least have a cocktail. ‼️The waiter offered us water (which, to me, usually means it is a complimentary gesture from the restaurant), but no — we were charged €7 for it, even though we didn’t drink it. In other places, if a waiter offers water, it usually means it is FREE. If I want to buy water, I can order it myself. Or at least warn customers that the water costs money. Maybe I’m a student who came to have just one cocktail and has exactly enough money for that cocktail. The staff put us in an awkward and uncomfortable situation. Dear staff of this establishment, if you see in the reservation comments that someone is celebrating a birthday, please try to reserve a nice table near the window instead of one near the restroom. And if you offer something yourselves, please mention the price beforehand.

For a photoshoot for my photography course, I ended up at nhow Rooftop Restaurant & Bar, and it turned out to be an experience I look back on with great pleasure. A few weeks in advance, I had called to ask if I could come by with a model to take some photos. This was allowed without any hassle, something I still greatly appreciate. It gave me the freedom to do my assignment in a place that truly adds something to your work. We were there in the afternoon, at a quiet time. No crowds, plenty of room to move around and look for the right light and the right angles. Beautiful daylight streams in through the large windows, and combined with a flash, this created exactly the effect I was looking for. The Erasmus Bridge in the background makes it complete for me as a photographer. The decor is stylish without being distracting. As a photographer, you can go in any direction there. It is the kind of place where you immediately get ideas and where it becomes easy to create something beautiful. What made it extra special was the welcome. Lucia took the time for us, brought cappuccino and water, and had a chat that was genuinely inspiring. Moments like that make you feel welcome and not just "someone coming to take photos." I am grateful that we were given the opportunity to shoot here. It not only yielded beautiful images but also motivation to continue growing in what I do. For me, this is a place I will definitely return to, especially when I am looking for an environment that adds something extra to my work.

The view is truly beautiful and we had delicious drinks, however, the service was really poor – we sometimes had to wait over 30 minutes for our drinks, and generally, we had to wait a long time for staff to take our orders. In general, definitely make a reservation. The drinks are delicious and the music is great that evening, but be prepared to wait a very long time and don't expect your drinks to be cleared or for you to be able to order new ones without having to get their attention.

We expected to see some people dancing on a friday night, but vibe inside wasnt very vibrant, so we walked outside to check the ambiance outside. A waiter came up to us and told us that minimum pay is 10 euros per person if we want to go outside (we just wanted to see the energy on the outside terrace). Felt kinda rude but ok sure. We wanted to have cocktails anyways so the €10 minimum pay wasnt a problem, if only 15 minutes would have been enough for someone to come to our table and take our order. Unfortunately, staff didnt seem to notice us, so after 15 mins we left. Guess we checked out the view for free like that anyways, what the staff seemed to be scared of. Music could’ve been more danceable! The place looks nice, too bad the overall vibe doesn’t match the looks.

Incredible experience, the bar is beautiful, with a perfect view of the city. Many drink options, the prices are higher, but the experience is worth it. The food options are smaller portions, so I recommend going for drinks, enjoying the view and good music.

Drinks and snacks with friends were great

It takes an incredibly long time for the waitress to come and take the order. She serves the table she encounters first, not the one that has been sitting the longest. Taking the order herself is also extremely slow. The ginger tea has a tiny bit of ginger. Bizarre! Definitely not recommended (for drinking tea, at least).

We went for a beer at sunset. It has a really cool terrace outside with great views of the city skyline at night. The menu wasn't expensive, but we didn't have much time. And the drinks were very good for the price in the area; they were cheaper.

It is a very nice shared dining spot woth some drinks and nice terrace. Amazing atmosphere and very lovely staff, they make all the effort to make you feel comfortable and the service is amazing, thanks to Kevin for taking care of us! The food was delicious and my favourites were the kimchi chicken and smashed buratta.

We thought we'd have a drink with six people. Just before 10 p.m. We were told no hot drinks, so no coffee or tea. We came for coffee and tea. Reason: the coffee machine had already been cleaned. What nonsense. Does the owner know about this?

A wonderful experience at this bar! We went twice during our weekend in Rotterdam and had a fantastic time. The view of the Erasmus Bridge is truly magnificent, especially in the evening; it's a real bonus. We booked in advance the first time, and everything went very smoothly. The welcome was excellent. The staff are friendly and pleasant, although it's a bit of a shame that not all of them speak English very well. On our second visit, we also ordered food, and it was absolutely delicious. Simply unique. From the first moment, we were greeted with rare kindness. The young woman at the entrance—attentive, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful—put us at ease and escorted us not to just any table, but to exactly where we wanted to be. Her professionalism truly makes a difference. The young woman at the bar is Greek, and despite our some difficulty with English, she immediately set out to find an Italian-speaking bartender. Thus, Simone arrived, making our experience even more special. Extremely attentive to our needs (my partner is celiac), he guided us through the selection of dishes and drinks with expertise, sensitivity, and passion. A fundamental presence. The food amazed us: unique, intense flavors, hard to find elsewhere. The cuisine exudes quality and attention to every detail. The only aspect that could be improved is the price/quantity ratio: more of a tasting experience than a full dinner, with a slightly higher price. But the overall quality justifies it. We were there on a Sunday night so it weren’t so busy. The food and the drinks were excellent, they even took my gluten allergy into consideration, and paid attention that there was no cross contamination. Mark made sure we were happy with our foods and drinks, he was super friendly, the service was also excellent! We will be back for sure! ☺️

The bar is part of the hotel where we're staying, which was a nice bonus. The portions are small but very tasty. With the help of Alexia, who gave us advice, we had a delicious meal.
