We've always had good food, but today was a bit disappointing. The sauce for a special frikandel is a bit lacking. I hope next time it's back to normal, otherwise we'll be looking for another place.

Can't find the menu online. It displays an error code. Unable to reach by phone to take your order, even though it was quiet? The food is good, though!

I just came to get a drink and saw a sign saying they'd wait until we'd finished calling for our privacy. Which I agree with. But then the guy can barely say hello because he's busy texting. And when I try to make it clear I want to do something, he turns his back on me and continues texting furiously. It's a shame the sign should have said, "For our privacy, please wait longer so we can continue texting!"

It's a really great snack bar. Good fries and a wonderful selection of snacks. And not to mention, the staff is friendly. We're happy to drive a bit to go there.

In my opinion, the best snack bar in Purmerend. Always good food and a wide choice. The various burgers are delicious. And they have a very tasty satay sauce, one of the best.

They are usually very busy there and their fries taste very good. Still, I am somewhat disappointed by the behavior of one of the employees or perhaps even the owner. It seemed like that person had no confidence in the customers. There was a customer in front of me who had placed an order, but was having problems with Apple Pay during checkout. The employee or owner wanted to make sure he would get paid and the customer suggested they come back with the money as soon as possible. I thought it was quite discriminatory to think that someone would want to rip someone off for a portion of fries. Anyway, the policy is simple: no money, no fries. I personally wouldn't want to do business with someone who acts that way, but ultimately I can't control the behavior of others. Good luck with your €3.55 fries with...

Nice place, but sitting outside on the terrace is not pleasant. While you're trying to eat your snack outside, you're surrounded by someone else's smoke smell. Smoking is allowed on that terrace. A real shame

Start positively, the fries are very tasty, as is the fries sauce! It's also a lot of € for a little bit of fries. Ordered double fries sauce.....I couldn't find it. So in the end it is a good snack bar with delicious fries, just expensive for little, hence only 3 stars.

I think Gean Snackbar is the best snack bar in Purmerend. Friendly staff, nice shop, new ovens and always fresh stuff. Despite the difficult times for every entrepreneur, you don't compromise on quality at Gean. A minimal price increase is also passed on, especially if you compare this to the increased prices in a supermarket. My favorite fries and a homemade minced meat ball with peanut sauce from our own kitchen.

It's that it's the only one within walking distance, but otherwise I would have given it a wide berth... The prices are always different and the portions are nothing to write home about either... Very unfortunate...

We liked coming here, but not anymore after today, it was very busy with orders so we had to wait, so my heavily pregnant wife sat on a chair on the (almost empty) terrace because she has a lot of problems with her pelvis and can't... can walk or stand for a long time, within a minute an employee from the snack bar was outside to ask if my wife wanted to get up because of “the Corona rules”. Their own Facebook page states that you can only reserve a place on site, but my wife did not get that chance either. She had to stand on a terrace full of empty chairs and tables, and the tone with which this was presented was anything but customer-friendly. From now on we will go to a different snack bar and so will everyone who comes through us!

Fries were tasty, but having to wait outside in the rain was less pleasant. And the fact that they had forgotten my work-paid can of soda was also less.

It's my local Chip shop, I go here from time to time. I am gonna head there quite soon they have just released a new hamburger which looks kinda tasty. Great service, great people, nice place with an outside terrace.

Was in that snack bar this week, well that is also the last snack bar I come to, the staff does not wear gloves and the employee does not wear a face mask. In the back of the kitchen (Corona time), 1.5 distance is not taken into account, only in the middle is a sign saying you are not allowed to sit there. If necessary, place signs or tape at the chairs where you are not allowed to come and sit. Badly handled
