Nice place to eat and friendly staff.

Super nice restaurant. We had a tapas lunch here. It's a really great concept. Plenty of choice for everyone and the dishes are delicious. We'll be having lunch here often.

Unhealthy food, as many sauces as possible, fries/bread. Very small portions of food of your choice, well dipped in sauce. When your small plate was empty, you could ask for something else from your own waitress. So wait your turn. You quickly feel full of fries, salt and sauces.

Delicious tapas, original and very tasty snacks. We had a lovely seat in the outside garden, when it got a bit cooler the roof was put on, nice atmosphere, friendly and quick service. We will 100% come back, highly recommended for a pleasant evening, also a nice place for larger groups.

You may notice that the quality is deteriorating. It used to be fine, but now it is a lot less... It really says that you can order 2 tapas dishes, but there is only 1. And if you ask for some extra fries, the snippy answer is that it is getting too busy. So the rating goes down a lot, especially in terms of service... ************ We had made a reservation, but something went wrong and we couldn't go anywhere other than on the terrace. Well move on... But a little later a spot was made available for us by moving around a bit. Now that's real service. Moreover, we had a delicious meal (Saté vd Haas!), great service and a nice atmosphere. The disadvantage is that it is busy, but that is very understandable 😉👏 Had a delicious tapas lunch with the family. It was excellent again! It gets boring, but it's still tasty... Delicious food again today. It seems like it's getting busier and busier 😉...

We had dinner there with our family yesterday, in the outdoor area. Very good food, it was super tasty. Lots of choice of tapas dishes. Super nice service too. One thing that is not so great: you have to walk outside to go to the toilet

Had dinner at Roon on a quiet evening last week. Accommodation (we sat 'outside' with a nice atmosphere. Lots of simple 'out of the box' frying and reheating dishes with sauce from the bottle and lettuce from the bag. Employees friendly but remarkably superficial and wanted everyone to pay and leave the restaurant at 10 p.m. have.

Tijdens het Castricumse muziekfestival “Smaakmakers” hier de lunch gebruikt. Aan de achterzijde van het lokaal bevindt zich een ruim terras dat gezien de inrichting met sluitbaar dak en gasverwarmingen ook in de winter gebruikt kan worden. Naast stellen die er de lunch gebruikten was er ook een mooi aangeklede babyshower. Ruimte voor veel personen en activiteiten tegelijk. De koffie is zeer goed. Dit geldt tevens voor de lunchgerechten Amsterdamse kroketten en brood met warme geitenkaas. Heel smakelijk allemaal maar geen culinaire hoogstandjes, vandaar een 8 en geen 10. Wel een prima gelegenheid om naar binnen te gaan.

We sat in the nice courtyard. A bit cliché decorated with xenos text signs, but cozy. Service was very nice and patient. A mistake made was neatly corrected. We chose the tapas menu. The tapas were tasty, but we missed some more healthy choices. We think the menu can be divided into hot/cold and fish/meat/vegetarian, because now everything was mixed up and you kept searching. In terms of price, we ultimately thought it was on the expensive side for what we ate, hence the 3 stars. Great restaurant, and with some minor improvements it has potential.

Great atmospheric restaurant, my wife gave me dinner for my birthday (72) while on holiday. We had such delicious food and drinks, everything so tasty and served in a special way, this really deserves compliments, highly recommended.

We had dinner at Roon's on King's Day and it was great. We were happy that we were able to stay at such a last minute. We got a table on the covered terrace. We chose the tapas menu, because you can also order a la cart. You can order two dishes per person per round. The menu offers a lot of choice, both hot and cold. Our favorites were: meatballs with satay sauce, fried mushrooms, attorney and mini hamburgers. The whipped cream truffles were also delicious. We had a wonderful evening, really great

We hadden geserveerd en kregen een tafeltje in de tuin. De tuin is gezellig ingericht en geeft een beetje het gevoel van een strandtent. Het dak was weggeschoven maar het was nog best aangenaam. Je kan kiezen of je onbeperkt tapas wil of a la carte, wij kozen voor al la carte. De bediening is vriendelijk maar wel wat gehaast, ze wilden twee keer opruimen terwijl wij nog bezig waren met ons hoofdgerecht. Zowel het stoofpotje van rundvlees als de eendenborst smaakten goed. Er zaten diverse groenten en aardappeltjes in schil bij, erg lekker.

We zaten met een groep op het overdekte terras waar je erg leuk zit. Bediening was vriendelijke en attent. We hadden het tapasmenu waarbij je meerdere kleine gerechten kon bestellen. Wat mij betreft waren eigenlijk alle gerechten matig, niet vies maar ook niet echt lekker…

We dachten even ergens te gaan lunchen met een vriendin. We hadden bij dit restaurant gereserveerd om te gaan lunchen. Niet van de de kaart maar tapas. Dit is een goed restaurant waar word aanbevolen te reserveren . Zeker de moeite waard en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

The food was delicious. We had the tapas dinner. We were able to order until 10:00 PM and then enjoy a delicious dessert. We sat comfortably in the backyard. This was well heated with heaters.

Wil eigenlijk 3,5 ster geven maar dat kan helaas niet. Heerlijk gegeten in een prima omgeving. We zaten in de overdekte achtertuin waar het aangenaam is qua temperatuur. De gerechten waren prima van smaak en hoeveelheid. Bij mijn voor gerecht "knoflookgamba's" had ik niet echt het idee gamba's te eten maar gewoon kleine garnalen. De diamanthaas die niet op de kaart staat maar wel als soort van special werd aanbevolen was uitstekend met de rode wijnsaus. Ik zou het vast op de kaart zetten.

We had a place in the covered heated backyard with Christmas decorations for 6 people. The chicken thigh satay was tasty and sufficient, as were the fries. The tiny bowl of sliced ​​onion and chunks of tomato was insufficient to say the meal was complete. So that can be better!

Perfect for tapas until the 3rd course! Then you ask for a dish without sauce (how difficult is that?), but they couldn't guarantee that. Let the order go through in good faith. If you do get it with sauce and you indicate that you think this is a shame and you are then told: we cannot take that into account.... Say that immediately and I will order something else!!! Then we were only served by colleagues, the young lady was apparently too offended???? The customer is king, that's how I learned it, working in the catering industry myself.

What a party! 80 tapas dishes or a regular menu. With so much choice you expect fairly flat flavors. We tasted 6 x 4 rounds, and mainly enjoyed delicious distinctive dishes.

Elke keer als we bij Roon eten is het heerlijk ,gezellig en een top bediening. Zeker een aanrader .

Alerte bediening en geweldig eten

Heerlijke Tapas avond gehad. Minpuntje is de sanitaire voorziening. Toilet niet beschikbaar in de locatie achter.

Zondag 8 oktober weer eens tapas gegeten in de gezellige achtertuin van Gewoon bij Roon. Kwaliteit van het eten was weer prima zoals wij daar trouwens ook wel gewend zijn. Daarnaast is het personeel vaak vriendelijk, en attent. Behalve afgelopen zondag toen er een personeelslid dienst had dat zich naar ons toe nogal arrogant meende te moeten gedragen. Onze tafel stond vol met bier en wijn, met zoals gebruikelijk ook een glaasje kraanwater daarbij. Een van onze tafelgenoten had op een gegeven moment genoeg wijn gedronken, en vroeg daarom enkel om een glaasje water. Het antwoord van de serveerster was vrij bits dat zij geen water verkopen! Op onze opmerking wat het probleem is om bij een groep die behoorlijk veel alcohol nuttigt een extra glaasje kraanwater op tafel te zetten kwam geen antwoord meer, en werd ons direct nogal onvriendelijk verzocht om de lege bakjes op de tapasplank te zetten. Later werd er zonder iets te zeggen alsnog een glaasje water op tafel gezet. Ook bij het afrekenen werd het alles naar wens geweest vergeten, en zonder het daarbij gebruikelijke tot ziens, en fijne avond verder hebben wij het restaurant licht geïrriteerd verlaten. Jammer dit, je gunt dit goede restaurant toch beter personeel.

Lekker gezeten, mooie binnentuin. High wine was prima. Achteraf hadden we eigenlijk even moeten overleggen over de hapjes. Vlees was erg lekker maar wel veel voor iemand die maar weinig vlees eet.

Als lunch onbeperkt tapas eten gekozen. Erg sfeervol restaurant met aan de achterkant een leuk buiten terras. Alle tafeltjes waren vol en liep 1 meid in de bediening. Het duurde allemaal erg lang. Voordat wij hadden besteld en het eerste hapje kregen, was er 1uur voorbij. Gevraagd of wij meteen het volgende mochten bestellen toen het eerste hapje werd geserveerd omdat wij niet de hele middag de tijd hadden. Hierop reageerde ze geïrriteerd dat dat niet de bedoeling was en dat wij dan niet voor onbeperkt tapas hadden moeten kiezen... Maar wij hadden nu al voor onbeperkt tapas gekozen... Vervolgens kwam er nog een jongen in de bediening helpen welke erg aardig was en meteen de volgende hapjes mochten bestellen waardoor het iets sneller ging. Om ons heen hoorde wij iedereen klagen waarom het allemaal zo lang moest duren... Het eten was wel erg lekker! Dus als er iets meer bediening is, dan loopt alles beter!

De tapas is een echte aanrader.

Het is onze favoriete locatie om even lekker relaxed wat te eten, drinken en praten Gezellige locatie, heel leuk personeel en goed eten, wij komen hier heel graag👍

Het eten was lekker, daar is echt niets op aan te merken. Wij hadden onbeperkt tapas, alleen is dat niet helemaal onbeperkt. Je mag per keer 2 gerechtjes van de 90! verschillende tapas bestellen. Echter bepaald het personeel wanneer je de volgende bestelling kan doen. Wij hebben daar bijna 4 uur gezeten en konden per persoon in die 4 uur 5x 2 kleine hapjes bestellen. Meer lukte ook gewoon niet aangezien de tijd tussen bestellen en uitserveren ook best lang was. Als we nog wat drinken wilden bestellen moesten we ook echt op zoek naar iemand. Dat kan echt beter naar mijn mening.

Heerlijk tapas gegeten. Super gezellige en goede bediening. Genoeg tijd tussen de rondes maar ook weer niet te lang. Kortom een fantastische avond gehad.

Als beoefende tapaseters Bij Roon eens geprobeerd en de kwaliteit is echt uitmuntend.Van de geweldige biefstuk tot de carpaccio.Alles is lekker en mals waar het het moet zijn..voor ons absoluut een reden om hier terug te komen vanuit Amsterdam.ik raad het dan ook iedereen aan om hier eens te gaan genieten van een Ibiza style tapas avond.Keep up the good work staff.

Op zich redelijk.... Je zit best prettig op het terras. Bediening duurt lang.... We moesten zelf vragen om de kaart en dan weer lang wachten tot de bestelling wordt opgenomen... Of niet... Wel lekker als je t eenmaal hebt... Of dat dan komt omdat het lang heeft geduurd zou kunnen natuurlijk 😂🤣😂🤣 Personeel is wel vriendelijk alleen niet erg adequaat

Vandaag gegeten bij gewoon Roon samen met mijn dochter van 3 maanden. Super fijne ervaring. Een plekje aangewezen gekregen waar ik de kinderwagen makkelijk kwijt kon, dit was geen probleem. Personeel was onwijs enthousiast, klantvriendelijk en behulpzaam. Gevallen speentje werd even afgespoeld, kinderwagen werd over de rand getild, ontzettend aardig. Het restaurant is sfeervol ingericht en het eten was heerlijk! Gegeten van de tapaskaart en ieder gerechtje was even lekker.
