Great beer and snacks. Drinks menu on the table is not superfluous instead of 1 board at the back of the terrace.

Great catering facility in the centre of Castricum. Service was good and friendly, egg benedict was good and although you wouldn't think so 2 eggs were enough to fill your stomach for lunch

In my opinion, an underrated restaurant in Castricum and the surrounding area. We have been living in Limmen for about two years now and if you ask the locals about good restaurants in the area, they are never mentioned. My wife and I had a wonderful evening. In addition to the nice welcome and the beautiful dishes, there is also really excellent service from the restaurant and kitchen. My wife suffers from various intolerances. But that was really taken into account. Even the chef came to the table to think along. A dessert for my wife? Usually impossible at most restaurants. At Brutaal? There was just something "custom made" and not just anything. A really nice carefree evening for us. We will definitely come back here.

Remains one of the nicest restaurants in Castricum, only you can't see that from the outside. Nice wine list, with also 2 natural wines. Delicious beers on tap from Gulpener. Super large terrace, tasty oysters and quite a lot of vegetarian dishes on the menu. And a super friendly service. Price quality much better than on the beach.

Very nice place for lunch or dinner. Well thought out tasteful meals. The soups are very nice. In winter one can also sit outside dry under a heater.

wanted to eat out with my grandson and made a reservation here because I had eaten often in the past. Unfortunately it was disappointing. The steak tartare had tendons, after which my grandson had spare ribs, small portion! and I had round steak that you had to chew well otherwise you couldn't eat it. Didn't take dessert. And all this cost me €100. Please note, I am not a complainer, but I don't think I will dine there again.

Bediening was erg vriendelijk en vlot. We kregen vaak genoeg drankjes aangeboden en er werd regelmatig gevraagd of alles nog naar wens was, hele goed en erg aardig personeel dus! Eten was ook goed maar heb wel eens lekkerder gegeten.

Waanzinnig lekker eten, mooi en perfect bereid. Niets aangebrand, en zalig van smaak zoals het hoort. Fijne ambinace met heerlijk zittende stoelen. Echt een aanrader!

Delicious food, friendly service and very nicely decorated!

Super nice place, nice menu, tasty food, nice staff and a chef who can really cook and knows what he is doing. I have some annoying food allergies and he adapts the dishes so that I can eat it and it remains really tasty. I've eaten there a few times and it was delicious and enjoyable every time! I therefore definitely recommend Brutaal and will come back again!

This excellent restaurant is an asset to Castricum, the atmosphere when you enter is okay (the living room feeling), not too much and not too little. The service is still young but okay, the owner makes good adjustments. The food is of good quality and board layout is okay. In short, it is worth returning again.

Nice little restaurant with a good option to sit at the terrace in the winter with some nice heaters. Also great for a nice beer until midnight.

Had a delicious meal at Restaurant Brutaal. Nice tent with a nice atmosphere. Super friendly and fast service! The food was excellent and the price-quality ratio was absolutely fine. After a day at the beach, this was the ultimate end to a beautiful day.

Brown bread even if you asked for white. No sorry just... omelet undercooked but no excuses. We will never go here again. Preferably with the neighbors.

The food is fantastic, delicious and everything freshly prepared. A super good white and black brigade. Special wishes can be communicated. Always good tasteful music, a beautiful attractively decorated terrace. The terrace can be completely covered and there are heaters to protect against the cold. The price-quality ratio is optimal. An absolute must👍

Very nice tent with a very extensive menu and nice and smooth service.

Extensive menu with the usual things, but also some less common ones. For example, the eggs royale with salmon: my favorite. The only downside to the delicious food and good service: it is sometimes a bit busy on the terrace.

Although the service and atmosphere are good here the "broodje kroket" was absolutely spartan. A real thin slice of bread, one and a half cherry tomato and a few bits of cucumber.

I've been here 2 times now and this is my favorite restaurant so far. As a big sparerib lover I can say that these are my favorite spareribs. The burgers here are also so delicious. Nice that you also get homemade peppermint. Staff is also super friendly and service is fairly quick in my opinion.

By far the best spare ribs we have ever eaten. Meat fell off the bone and the taste was perfect. The burger is also so delicious that we always cut our portion of spareribs and burger in half and share it because no one can choose. The staff is fast but not pushy and the place itself is attractive and clean. The portions are also more than sufficient for a normal price.

Nice tent. Was helped quickly because there were plenty of staff. Delicious food here! I only thought the Desert card was a bit sparse, but that could be just me🤷🏼‍♂️

We were greeted really friendly and seated immediately. We were allowed to order quickly and there were no issues about sharing dishes, they were quick to bring out extra plates for us. The dishes were super flavorful and filling, too. The only thing was that it was quite loud and sometimes we had a hard time understanding each other when talking.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce restaurant ! L’accueil était parfait, il y avait un petit écriteau avec notre nom sur la table, l’endroit est agréable, le service généreux et souriant. Nous avons très bien mangé. Ribs fondant, tartare très bien préparé, poulet parfaitement cuit. Un super endroit, merci beaucoup !

Wir haben hier sehr gut gegessen. Ich hatte ein Boeren Omelette und meine Frau 2 Vlees Kroketten mit Brot. Es war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Kommen gerne wieder.

Geweldige ervaring bij Restaurant "Brutaal" Ik had onlangs het genoegen om Restaurant "Brutaal" te bezoeken en ik moet zeggen dat ik over het algemeen een geweldige ervaring heb gehad. Het restaurant biedt een uitstekende service, heerlijke patat, een prettige ambiance en smaakvolle rosé. Er was echter een punt van kritiek met betrekking tot de spare ribs, namelijk dat er weinig tot geen smaakverschil was tussen de zoete en pittige variant. Ten eerste wil ik graag de service benadrukken. Het personeel was zeer attent en vriendelijk gedurende mijn hele bezoek. Ze begroetten me hartelijk bij binnenkomst en namen snel mijn bestelling op. Ze waren altijd beschikbaar wanneer ik iets nodig had en zorgden ervoor dat ik me comfortabel voelde. De efficiëntie en professionaliteit van het personeel waren echt indrukwekkend. Wat betreft het eten, de patat was absoluut heerlijk. Ze waren perfect knapperig aan de buitenkant en lekker zacht van binnen. De patat had een uitstekende smaak en ik kon merken dat ze vers waren bereid. Ik was aangenaam verrast door de kwaliteit van de patat bij "Brutaal". Ik besloot ook de spare ribs te proberen, maar helaas was er een punt van kritiek. Hoewel de ribben perfect gegaard en mals waren, was er weinig tot geen smaakverschil tussen de zoete en pittige variant. Beide sauzen leken erg op elkaar, wat een beetje teleurstellend was. Het zou geweldig zijn geweest als er meer onderscheid was geweest in de smaken van de sauzen. De ambiance van het restaurant is ook zeer aangenaam. Het interieur is smaakvol ingericht en creëert een gezellige sfeer. Het restaurant heeft een moderne uitstraling zonder te klinisch of onpersoonlijk te zijn. Er was een goede balans tussen comfort en stijl, waardoor ik me op mijn gemak voelde terwijl ik genoot van mijn maaltijd. Tot slot wil ik graag vermelden dat de wijnkaart van "Brutaal" een indrukwekkende selectie biedt. Ik koos een glas rosé wijn dat perfect samenging met mijn gerecht. De rosé had een heerlijke smaak en ik merkte de kwaliteit van de selectie op. Over het algemeen was mijn ervaring bij Restaurant "Brutaal" zeer positief, met uitzondering van het gebrek aan smaakverschil tussen de zoete en pittige variant van de spare ribs. De service was uitstekend, de patat was heerlijk, de ambiance was prettig en de rosé was smaakvol. Ik zou dit restaurant zeker aanbevelen aan anderen die op zoek zijn naar een geweldige eetervaring

Super leuke cozy plek! Ze nemen makkelijk een walk-in aan voor zowel binnen als buiten. Het eten was onwijs lekker! De vijf verschillende desserts zijn echt de moeite waard! Home made & onwijs goed verzorgt en bedacht! We werden bediend door een super vriendelijke dame die passie heeft voor haar vak (Untill?).Laag drempelend maar onwijs gezellig!

I had the spare ribs and my husband had the Black Beauty Burger. Both came with delicious fries. For dessert we shared Death by Chocolate and had Latté Machiatos. All delicious! Service was fast and friendly. Whole experience was gwellig!

Het viel een beetje tegen.. Men was uiterst beleefd waar je een brutale bediening verwacht :-) Bediening erg vlot en goed. Eten erg lekker. Koffie prima. Lekker achtergrond muziekje wat sfeer maakt.
