Good service, food was fine, but not worth the price. The sushi had too much rice, and the fruit I ordered with the ice cream seemed like leftovers. Furthermore, a staff member or owner was constantly talking on their phone in the restaurant (hands-free) in a different language. Very annoying.

This is our third time with you. The food was excellent and very tasty again. Only this time it was very cold, and we were sitting right next to the front door, so every time customers came in, we could feel the cold. When we left, the outside door was open.

I regularly come here and am completely satisfied, so I went with the family for Christmas. The price is considerably higher at Christmas, but you don't get any other choice than the standard menu. Unfortunately, I won't be booking here again for Christmas. We arrived very early, so it wasn't very busy yet, but everything still took a long time to arrive. Not a problem in itself, as we had plenty of time, but unfortunately, we often didn't get the food we ordered, or even what we hadn't ordered. Empty dishes weren't cleared regularly, so there wasn't much space, and everything seemed chaotic. A couple of the waitresses were grumpy. I understand that working on Christmas isn't fun, but customers shouldn't have to notice. It's a shame about this experience. On normal days, it's a fine experience, but I won't be coming here again for Christmas.

We're always very satisfied here. Friendly and attentive service, delicious food. And it's so nice that you can sit quietly all evening. Besides the quality of the food, that's really the extra touch that keeps us from going to any other sushi restaurant. The price-quality ratio is truly subpar. At best, the food is mediocre. Elsewhere, for the same or lower price, you can find much better quality and a much wider selection in more expensive locations. Most of it is just barely tasteless. Regarding ordering, the photos on the menu are very small, and you have to order with your phone using a QR code. You really have no idea of ​​the portion size. For the all-you-can-eat menu with three dishes per person per day, some portions are far too large. Crab salad turns out to be almost a full plate of iceberg lettuce with one surimi stick. Not recommended.

We had to ask for a different table and were told everything was reserved. We were eventually given a different table, and you might have guessed it, there was no one at all at those reserved tables during our stay! In addition, many orders were delivered incorrectly, and the food was passed around from table to table! A little more customer service is better than rushing things!

Ate here 2x now! And I love it everytime, there is not time waiting for your next order and no time limit, all you have to do is order and enjoy all you want! They have delicious sushi and hot dishes. Sushi like Aburi sake mayo maki (see photo) is a unique dish at Golden Sakura and a favorite of ours!🩷 The Eby fry is also a favorite, deliciously crispy with a matching sauce. Dishes come very quickly, often on the table within 5 minutes of ordering. The price/quality ratio is perfect. So if you're looking for a good sushi restaurant, Golden Sakura is the answer. To round off our summer vacation, we wanted to eat out with our family. Well, we should have eaten somewhere else. We had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks. One girl was already running around stressed. We had to wait 50 minutes for our first order. By then, we had already ordered 50 dishes but only received 12. Each time, only one dish was brought, but each time no sushi. By then, we had been sitting there for almost two hours. We heard a waitress tell other people that they were out of rice. "Rice is out in a sushi restaurant, how can that be?" We heard several people complaining about not getting their orders and having to wait a very long time. We left with our family and ate somewhere else at 9:30 PM. The manager's excuse was that it was very busy, no, the rice was out, but he didn't tell the customers himself; the waitresses would take care of that for him. The restaurant has gone downhill considerably. We've been here twice before, and it was fine then. And you pay €38.50 for this? Never again for us.

Food did not arrive and was of poor quality

I was here with my friend on a Sunday, arrived at 6:30 PM, and was hoping for a nice dinner because the place looks very inviting. It took a while before we were shown to our seats, but I didn't worry about that. Then the food arrived. Well, it didn't actually arrive. We only got two dishes from the first round after half an hour, which was red flag number one. Many of my guests arrived somewhat on time (half an hour), but my friend still got sushi from the SECOND round, while we were already on round 5 (almost 2 hours later) with desserts. Everything that arrived was very tasty, not to mention, but it arrived. But. Not. Inside. Many other guests around us had the same problem. I've honestly never seen so many angry people in a restaurant, especially the table next to us, because they didn't get anything for almost the entire evening. Desserts, on the other hand, arrived quite quickly, but they're also very simple to prepare. It was compensated with a 2% discount at the end of the evening, but we still ended up paying too much. I think the restaurant would benefit from a timer between rounds, so they wouldn't be overwhelmed by too many orders because people would get impatient. But even then, they wouldn't see me and my friend again.
