The food is super tasty, a real treat, the service was also good, and it was very cozy. Definitely recommended. We will most certainly come back again.

We had a delicious meal. It's nice that you can eat here without a time limit. The only thing I found difficult was that everything was put together on the plates. Because of this, you often have to share one plate between the two of you, and I sometimes struggle with that. Also, I kept forgetting what I had ordered and what it looked like. As a result, we sometimes ate each other's food. But that always happens at these kinds of restaurants. Otherwise, it was very pleasant and the dishes were served quickly. Oh yes, one of us had a birthday, so they play Happy Birthday for you and you get a special dessert. They forgot that special dessert for us, but given the rest of the experience, she is forgiven.

Fantastic experience during our stay with a friend in Hengelo. We have been to the other sushi place a couple of years ago. This place was MUCH better. Better seating, engaged and friendly staff and one of the best meals we've had in a while. Thank you.

I ate here yesterday and was unfortunately very disappointed. In my opinion, the taste was not as good, and the quality of the sushi also seemed to have clearly deteriorated. I found that very unfortunate. Hopefully, something will be done with this feedback.

The food was fine, the service friendly but not what I expect from service. The food was placed on the table without batting an eye.

We were received very kindly by a nice gentleman and were well assisted with all our questions. The all-you-can-eat concept was great! During our visit, another customer unfortunately had an epileptic seizure in the restroom, and the staff acted immediately and helpfully by quickly calling 112. We found that very professional. This was my second time at Golden Sakura and I will definitely be back!

The food was excellent again, as was the service. It was busy, so the wait was a bit longer than when it's quieter, but still acceptable. One time, an order was delivered to the wrong table, and another time something wasn't delivered, but that wasn't really a problem. You can order again, and there's no time limit at the table.

I had made a reservation but had forgotten the time, yet we were still able to get a table. And... a spot by the window. That was really nice. The food is tasty, although I find the crispy chicken or other crispy food less crispy. This didn't detract from the taste. That's why 4 stars and not 5. The taste was very good. The service was friendly and nice. We were able to dine for a long time because there is no time limit. That is very nice. I will definitely be back.

We were there on an evening (Thursday night) when the restaurant was quiet. Service was good and it was great. The Bacardi mojito was also perfectly balanced. Thanks to the lady behind the bar 😉

The food was delicious and my request was taken into account well.

A slightly rude edge to the staff in their manner of speaking and sitting on their mobiles behind the ball while we were trying to make contact. The sushi itself was tasty, but everything was cold (whereas you normally get that type of sushi served warm), and what sealed the deal for us not to come back is that the wasabi was tasteless and not spicy at all... I could put as much on as I wanted but couldn't taste any wasabi. And the soy sauce was flat in flavor (it comes in Kikkoman bottles, but this was definitely not Kikkoman...).

We love eating here. The quality is superb, and you are always welcomed with great hospitality. Last weekend, we even got something extra from the chef! Made especially for us! Highly recommended!

Standard greasy spoon with sushi of the same quality, so nothing special. Crème Brûlée without a single grain of vanilla sums up the quality of all the dishes... The owner is rude to children at the bar who wanted to ask something but were brushed off because it was busy. If children ask you something, you make time for it. See you never again 🙌

The food is really delicious, but There are a few minor points. Glasses and crockery were not clean! There were caked-on food residues on my plate and the glasses were very greasy. And the music, almost the whole evening Bad-Bunny and his mates (or whatever that rapper's name is). We are getting on in age and some atmospheric background music would have been better. But again, the food is delicious.

They prepare the food very quickly, and they were very nice, but they did argue in the kitchen for quite a long time. The decorations are nice! In conclusion, a nice restaurant and of course very tasty (with an incredible amount of choice!).

Friendly service and delicious food

The food was very tasty; however, we found it very disappointing that the portions were sometimes served smaller than on other occasions (for example, the steak, which was served with 8-10 strips one time and 3 strips other times). We also frequently found that after ordering something, it took a very long time to be served, or that we didn't receive it at all. Finally, the Father's Day gift was a nice idea; however, upon unpacking, it turned out to have an American plug, so it is unfortunately unusable.

We were seated in an awkward spot near the entrance. It took an incredibly long time before we received our first dish. Some of the sushi was truly inedible. We never received many of the dishes we ordered. The service could hardly be called polite. Occasionally, we received a dish that we had ordered three rounds ago. The coffee machine was broken, so we couldn't have a coffee afterwards, and the ‘real Japanese tea’ is just an ordinary tea bag stuffed into a nice teapot. I would not come here again.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is well taken care of. All in all, highly recommended if you want to enjoy a good meal and a pleasant evening. We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious, mind you, for three-quarters of the family who do eat meat and fish. Nothing to complain about. However, the vegetarian options are a solid fail. The creativity needs some work. There is actually very little choice. That isn't just the case here, but restaurants in general. For example, an onion or mushroom with panko, battered eggplant, grilled green asparagus; there are very good chefs in the kitchen who can do much better than this in that area. There are plenty of options. We sat for 3 hours, Beach House on repeat, heard the same song a few times. It was also quite loud. We would love to come back, though, but this is what we thought of it.
