Friendly people, location is right in the city center, sweet staff who appreciate jokes. They organize fun events, and the staff is the best 🏅

It is cozy because of the people behind the bar but also because of the guests, everyone is welcome and the vegetarian or vegan meal is not only deliciously prepared but also specially presented and they have tasty beers.

A wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal, drinks, and socialize with friends and family! The service is always excellent and friendly. They have a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and the food is delicious! Definitely recommended!

I absolutely love Goos! The atmosphere is always great, and they have delicious snacks and meals. The crusty punks and pickle croquettes are my favorite! Oh, and it's also super fun: there are games, so you can enjoy snacks and games :)

Goos is one of my favorite places to eat vegetarian or have a drink, with great people behind the bar and a nice, friendly and inclusive atmosphere!

Fantastic café where you can also enjoy delicious vegetarian food. I'm a carnivore, but I eat there quite often. Because it's good. And the Yellow Virgin on tap is divine. Finally, the hosts are fantastic.

Good atmosphere and good food. Definitely come back here to try something else, the vegan kapsalon was surprisingly good. Thought it was a bit too salty but otherwise the taste and quantity were good.

It occurs to me that too often, I only leave reviews for the places I like. Sigh. I shall try not do that in future. But here is another one that I like. It’s a 100% vegetarian (not vegan entirely) restaurant/bar - just have a drink if that’s all you want. Spirits and a good selection of beers including draft. Long and frequent opening hours and that’s welcome in Hoorn lol. Very good, pleasant and attentive service. I even had the food here and I am a carnivore. Really good! It’s small and civilised so don’t go looking for a party!

What a drama. Everything took a long time and don't take a bread board! Expensive for almost nothing and above all old bread. The terrace is nice and pleasant. .

What a find... What an experience. Music adapted to the 1950s, regardless of whether the Goos cafe was packed... The service was excellent. Highly recommended if you are looking for something around the Ijselmeer to end a long weekend. And the great thing was, on Sundays, covered parking in the area was completely free

A great vegetarian gem in Hoorn! The food was very good and interesting, they offer different cuisines it was hard to choose what to order! The waiters are really nice and attentive. We enjoyed seating outside and having our meal under the sun. I would go again!

Extensive gluten-free menu. It is clearly described that they take gluten-free into account as much as possible. Gluten-free fries. Delicious gluten-free toasted sandwich (goosti). Friendly service. Nice atmosphere and ambiance.

Cozy vegetarian restaurant with some excellent comfort food. Tons of vegan options as well. I would recommend it to meat eaters and vegetarians alike. This will be my go to spot when visiting Hoorn.

My sister and I were just able to get the last table on Saturday evening at 6:15 PM! Smooth and very friendly service, lots of vegan options, and most importantly: very tasty food!

This is low key one of the best places in Hoorn, it is not often the town offers something unique and interesting but this is the real deal. In the things to improve I would only say the municipality needs to make the street pedestrian only so you don’t risk your life trying to go to the toilet if you sit outside

Delicious food and we felt so welcome! I had to change the reservation date 3 times and that was no problem :) Nice, casual atmosphere. So quiet that even our children with autism were not bothered by all kinds of extra stimuli (loud music, etc.), great!

My son (vegetarian) and I have eaten here twice now. Unfortunately there was no bread with my salad, but otherwise we liked it. I don't recommend the “lemonade extravaganza” (limo with some fruit), for that money it's just a big glass of lemonade. The first time (evening, inside) the service was nice. The second time on the terrace significantly less. I gave a tip at checkout with no thank you and the lady walked away without saying goodbye. Varying experience at this millennial café so far, but we will come back.

My friend who moved to Hoorn last year took me to this place when I came visiting and it has been a favorite ever since. There isn't one thing I tried or tasted from my friends' plates that I didn't like. Food is absolutely delicious, the service always excellent with staff having always a friendly attitude. Highly recommended.

What a great location with an inviting outdoor area opposite the Grote Kerk! A completely vegetarian menu with lots of original ideas that I didn't know before. We once had the flatbread pizza: Lebanese flatbread with grilled vegetables, tomatoes, hummus, jalapeños, crème fraîche, cheese, pomegranate syrup and rocket - with oriental seasoning. Also the naan pizza met Geitenkaas: Indian flatbread with goat cheese, grilled vegetables, crème fraîche, walnuts, pomegranate syrup and rocket. Both dishes have a wonderfully rounded taste and, despite the name, cannot be compared to any pizza. Plus a fresh Hertog Jan from the tap and espresso at the end. Unfortunately for me, I had forgotten my favorite cap on the chair outside. When I returned after almost half an hour, the friendly operators had secured them and placed them on the counter ready for collection. Thank you!

Very surprising and delicious!! I'm not a vegetarian or anything, but that certainly doesn't matter with the food they serve here. Really great. You wouldn't expect it when you see the restaurant from the outside, it looks a bit like a brown pub from the outside, but it is a gem on the inside.

Amazing place. As a vegan I feel safe eating here. They have delicious vegan chocolate milk. And the lunch dishes taste delicious. Even my omnivorous dad enjoys the place a lot. And we'll come back soon :)

Delicious vegan and vegetarian options!

Nice atmosphere, delicious coffee, surprising and original menu. We had the naan pizza with brie and brie/apple sandwich and pesto cheese sandwich. Everything is fine! Forgot to take a picture this time :)

Met twee vriendinnen gedineerd. Leuke verrassende kaart deze mag voor het diner wat uitgebreider maar we hebben erg lekker gegeten. Heel vriendelijk personeel die echt een compliment verdienen omdat alles klopte.. Alert, vriendelijk, proffesioneel en met humor.

Ontzettend gezellig eetcafe waar je heerlijk vegetarisch/veganistisch kunt eten. Originele gerechten en veel speciaalbiertjes. De bediening is altijd supervriendelijk. Je voelt je echt thuis en welkom!

This concern could take us the owner. She was very friendly and pointed out the gluten-free dishes to us. So they have a separate fryer here without gluten contamination. We will be back again.

Erg gezellig café. Ik kom er regelmatig met vrienden. Ruim aanbod aan bieren en nemen tips van hun gasten serieus. De vegetarische gerechten zijn goed van smaak!

Super leckeres Essen, der meatless Burger ist sehr zu empfehlen! Auch die Cocktails waren alle super lecker. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich gewesen und das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Absoluter Geheimtipp ;-).

Heerlijk eten en genoeg om te proberen op het menu. Alleen het was soms lastig om iets te bestellen (personeel kwam niet vaak langs de tafel bij ons).

Vibe is narrow, cosy pub Food is vegetarian, falafel wraps, veggie burgers etc. I recommend the big platter to share between 2 of you. Beers are great Dutch and English language menus. Place is very cool. Staff are friendly, much cooler than I will ever be and quick to help and also knowledgeable.

Bij Goos is het altijd gezellig of ‘t nou voor lunch of diner of de borrel is. Of gewoon een kopje koffie. Alles is lekker en iedereen kan zich hier welkom voelen.

Voor mensen die glutenvrij eten , hebben we eindelijk " GOOS " gevonden !!! Patat , huisgemaakt , hamburger op heerlijke broodjes , sausje , groenten , salade , e.v. glutenvrij gebak ect . Een soort bruin cafe , dus gezellig , aardig personeel , TOP !!
