The restaurant makes a really great impression and you can immediately tell that it is a historical local institution without being outdated. The very good food is definitely worth the price. In the high season you should definitely reserve here in advance.

Very centrally located, the cake (apple pastry and cheesecake) was exceptionally good. We were served by people with disabilities who were incredibly willing and friendly. This deserves the highest recognition.

Had a (delicious) honest meal with partner at Graaf Van Buren in Kortgene. Rarely have I been able to taste such delicious halibut, as well as the starter and dessert with excellent flavors and presentation. Also very pleasant and friendly service! And on top of that, democratic prices, also for the excellent wine.

Nice to see that during the day it is a place for daytime activities for people with intellectual disabilities who provide lunch. You will be shocked by the enthusiastic reception if you are not aware of it 😉 So don't expect everything to go smoothly, but be open to it and give them time and enjoy lunch or coffee

Pleasantly furnished restaurant. You can sit both inside and outside. You will be welcomed and served in a friendly manner. German is understood and partly spoken. So no problem. :) The menu is limited, but you can find something. From small snacks to soups and main courses to desserts. It is lovingly prepared and special requests are also implemented.

Arriving unexpectedly this Saturday evening without a reservation, we nevertheless obtained a table despite the crowds. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable, with attentive staff. The menu, although small, offers very good fresh products. The classic mussels were excellent, and the sea bass cooked to perfection. An address to remember, without a doubt!”

August 31, 2024. Delicious food. This chef cooks excellently. If you are a fussy eater and would like to eat there, just ask if something else can be served for once. Please indicate well in advance. We did that. The party consisted of 4 people, one person received a tour package upon request. What a great chef. So deliciously made. Class.

Delicious fresh food, nice atmosphere and good staff. We had oysters as an appetizer with a delicious vinaigrette. As a main course we ate the sea bass. Delicious with samphire and sea lavender. Dessert was also delicious. Nice wine with it. Top. Definitely recommended in this nice village. Very good chef, who used to cook at the Houtzagwerf, which was also a favorite restaurant of ours. Cooks with fresh products.

AMAZING! Very nice service that takes all the time for you, explaining the various dishes. 2x sea bass was fantastic! Not only a feast to taste but also to see. Recommended. This is a wonderful restaurant with a casual atmosphere.

We came because the restaurant in the parking lot had disappointed us so much. We then hoped for a better evening! We have to say: Great ambience, super nice service, the food was a poem 🤩 really rarely eaten so well! We'll definitely be back! The pictures speak for themselves. Keep it up

Delicious food! Been here a few times now after the renovation and reopening. We think it is a real asset to Kortgene. The plates are beautifully prepared and the food tastes delicious! Nice wine. Compliments to the chef!

An ambitious menu with just such food in an atmospheric space. The very young waitresses were super nice. A real recommendation.

Went there for the first time last Wednesday. Fantastic concept to serve people with intellectual disabilities. You can just see that they do it with heart and soul. Our dog was also more than welcome and was lovingly provided with a bowl of water. When we are in the area again, we will definitely go back.

Wir hatten einen Toastie + Appeltaart. Zusammenfassend ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Einfache simple Speisen, aber geschmacklich sehr gut! Für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp also top 👍

Heerlijk gegeten bij de Graaf van Buren. We hadden gehoord dat de kok eerder bij de Houtzaagwerf kookte. Dat proefden we! Hij kookt geweldig lekker met verse producten passend bij het seizoen. Wat een verwennerij!

Zeer lekker eten & een vriendelijke service.

Voor ons was het allemaal nieuw, we hadden wat pech omdat het deze avond heel druk was in deze plaats vanwege een bootrace!!!!! Alles was behoorlijk volgeboekt maar bij Graaf van Buren was nog plek, en ondanks de drukte hebben wij hier heerlijk gegeten zonder lang te hoeven wachten en een vriendelijke bediening!!!!

Zeker de moeite waard om hier even te stoppen .wij hebben hier lekker geluncht. Een zeer verrassende sandwich kip en brood met zalm genuttigd.

Nice Restaurant with good service and food

Super leuke dag gehad in Kortgene, ontbijt, lunch en diner bij de Graaf van Buren. Heerlijk gegeten! Vriendelijke bediening, eten erg lekker en mooi opgediend. Een echte aanrader!!!

Na mijn overheerlijke cheesecake in the afternoon wou ik in de avond mijn bezoekje overdoen. En of het top was, super goede service, gezellig om te zitten en het eten man zo lekker, kwaliteit ten top gewoon subliem, een zalig eetgenot, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Een TOP kok die met passie en liefde voor zijn gasten kookt ! Kleine kaart ,maar wel iedere dag verse producten die terug komen op je bord en dat is iedere keer weer een smaakbeleving, fantastisch! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Kleine aber feine Speisekarte. Sehr leckeres Essen und super freundlicher Service. Ambiente sehr angenehm und super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir wieder hier im Urlaub sind.
