Wir waren innerhalb von 2 Wochen 4-mal zum Essen im Restaurant. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Auch unsere Hündin hat sich wohl gefühlt und immer Wasser erhalten. Wir können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

Echt heel lekker eten, de smaak was perfect en de service ook de omgeving was prachtig. Ik raad iedereen om te bezoeken. Het prijzen zijn goed en de borden waren netjes uit.

Aardige eigenaar met Thaise eigenaresse in de keuken. Bediening zeer snel en vriendelijk. De gerechten ongelooflijk goed en er is veel variatie. Mijn dochter van 12 jaar oud was onder de indruk, haar gerecht was niet pittig en het waren goede / grote porties, alles was op, zo lekker! Tot de volgende keer!

Eines der besten Thai-Restaurant-Erlebnisse bisher! Super leckeres, authentisches Thai Essen! Tolle Auswahl an Gerichten! Fleisch, Hühnchen, Fisch oder vegetarisch, alles frisch und super lecker und geschmackvoll zubereitet. Der Service mega freundlich und professionell! Schöne und gemütliche Athmosphäre. Wir waren mit der Familie mit 8 Personen dort (inkl. einer thailändischen Besucherin): Alle(!) waren begeistert, weswegen wir direkt einen zweiten Besuch reservierten, der ebenfalls einfach nur sensationell war. Meine Highlights und absoluten Empfehlungen: - Pha Neng - Phad Krapauw Sooooo lecker! Wenn man hier in der Nähe ist, eine unbedingte Empfehlung!! Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen, wenn wir nochmal in der Nähe sind!

Met 7 vriendinnen op 29/3 gegeten bij Sawaan. Wat een fantastisch restaurant. Iedereen vond t super lekker. We hadden allemaal verschillende gerechten (niet pittige). Heerlijk vers bereid en zag er ook erg lekker uit. En de bediening: top! Zo wil je het! Super vriendelijk en correct. Volgend jaar zijn we vast weer een weekend in Kamperland en dan komen we echt terug! Aanrader voor iedereen!

Een heerlijke Thaise ervaring met een persoonlijke touch! Bij Sawaan Thai reserveerden we voor 20:00 uur, en hoewel er nog tafels vrij waren, is het slim dat ze rekening houden met hun maximale bedieningscapaciteit. Niets zo vervelend als eindeloos wachten op je maaltijd! De sfeer zou wat gezelliger kunnen - de verlichting is aan de felle kant, waardoor de intimiteit wat verloren gaat. En wat meer afscheiding tussen de gasten. De keuken wordt gerund door een Thaise chef (vermoedelijk de vrouw van de bedieningsmanager cq eigenaar ), en dat proef je! We begonnen met Tom Kha Kai kroketten als voorgerecht - een creatieve twist. Voor het hoofdgerecht koos ik Pahd Krapauw met garnalen, terwijl mijn gezelschap ging voor de Kai Phad Prik Khing. Beide gerechten stonden als pittig aangegeven, maar had voor mijn smaak wel wat sterker gemogen. De bediening vertelde vriendelijk dat ze het gerecht pittiger kunnen maken - ze houden vermoedelijk rekening met de Nederlandse voorkeur voor mildere smaken. Volgende keer zal ik zeker vragen om de echte Thaise pittig smaak want er komt zeker een volgende keer! We sloten af met een espresso. Kernpunten Vriendelijke, attente bediening Authentieke Thaise smaken Inrichting zou wat intiemer mogen (iets te fel verlicht) meer afscheiding met plantenbakken tussen de tafels Aanrader voor iedereen die van Thaise keuken houdt of wil kennismaken met deze heerlijke keuken!

Weer tijd om een review te plaatsen want we zijn sinds de laatste, diverse keren bij Sawaan gaan eten....het is iedere keer weer een feestje.. de vriendelijke ontvangst door Arne en Maysa en het verrukkelijke eten...de sfeer is altijd chill, ook wanneer het druk is ; geen stress, geen snel geloop of lawaai.. wat onze favorieten zijn? Bijna alles en vooral de extra spicy gerechten.

Dineren bij Sawaan is volop genieten. Een hartelijke ontvangst en bediening in combinatie met bijzonder smaakvolle gerechten. Aanrader is de rode curry met vis. Bijzonder!

Het is altijd een verwennerij om bij Sawaan te eten.het was de eerste keer dit jaar. De vriendelijke bediening en warme ontvangst maken ieder bezoek tot een feest. Buiten de kaart om was er gegrilde eend in tamarinde saus... verrukkelijk!! Uiteraard aten we de viskoekjes en de groene curry met rundvlees...

Lekker gegeten , alles was keurig warm en waren met 6 personen. Ontzettend aardige mensen met liefde voor hun zaak. Komen zeker terug.

Boven verwachting heerlijk gegeten. Ik ben fan van de Thaise keuken, maar dit was wel even next level. De Tom Kha Kai soep is een echte aanrader! Al met al een hele goede ervaring. Mijn vrouw eet veganistisch. Ook zij had een uitgebreide keuze.

Eten afgehaald. Goed lopend restaurant, en jonge eigenaren. Hebben pad thai en pha neng (gambas’s) en extra rijst gegeten. Eten was goed warm (ook met reistijd naar vakantiehuisje). Kwaliteit Pad thai was erg lekker; volle smaken en de pha neng was lekker pittig. Dit is eten, wat niet gericht is op alleen toeristen in zeeland….. maar ook voor de bewoners (authentiek en lekker)

Zoals mijn zoon zei: ‘ik kan me niet herinneren wanneer ik zo goed gegeten heb in een restaurant’. Dat zegt genoeg. We hadden de Thaise gerechtjes vooraf, alle vier een ander hoofdgerecht en desert. Alles was superlekker, vers en smaakvol. Sticky Rice mango als toetje was.voor mij de kers op de taart. We mochten onze hond meenemen en die heeft heerlijk in een hoekje gelegen; fijnstampen dat kon. De bediening is erg aardig en attent en hulpvaardig. Alleen maar koffie voor dit restaurant waar we voor het eerst kwamen, maar zeker niet voor het laatst!

An absolute enrichment for the gastronomy in Kamperland - it can easily compete with the Asian restaurant scene in Cologne. Very tasty curries! Good portions of rice, sauce and meat or vegetables. We ordered to pick up and it was ready and warm!!

Since we were staying at the Roompot Beach Resort holiday park, we went to this restaurant where I had already read the positive reviews in advance. I can only confirm what has been described several times, such as the friendliness of the staff, a beautiful place and food of very good quality. It is so good that we will go to this restaurant again on the last evening of our stay. So for people looking for a good Thai restaurant, look no further, this is it. Highly recommended and keep it up.

The setting of the restaurant is without any charm, very cold atmosphere. The dishes Did not taste to us and are very expensive for value for money. The only positive point is that the staff service is very accommodating and friendly, fortunately.

Was super tasty. The shrimp snacks are the best I have ever eaten. Very friendly staff and super fast. Food is served on beautiful plates and at the perfect temperature. I will definitely eat here more often and recommend it to everyone!

Well-visited Thai restaurant with a wide selection. Food is consistently delicious! But the beef was very tough despite being in small strips! Not recommended. Service was friendly and tried to increase sales :-(. Table reservation via internet didn't work due to no response, but we still got a place.

We hebben ontzettend lekker gegeten bij dit restaurant. Het personeel was ook erg aardig! Alles smaakte precies zoals we in Thailand gewend waren. Ik had de Tom ka Kai soep en mijn vrouw had de kroketten als voorgerecht. Als hoofdgerecht had ik de paneng curry en mijn vrouw de dikke rijstnoedels met kip. Wij komen hier zeker snel weer terug!

Mijn man en ik hebben heerlijk gegeten. We hebben de eend gegeten die buitenom het menu verkrijgbaar was! Als nagerecht hebben we de bananen loempia's gegeten met zoete saus wat ook een heerlijk gerecht was!

I had the opportunity to eat in this Thai restaurant and it was a real culinary discovery! 🥰 I tried the cashew kai phad, noodles, and a beef red curry. The curry sauce was absolutely divine, the best I have ever had, and yet I tasted a lot of it. The kai phad was also exceptional! 😋The only small comment I would make is that the beef in the red curry was a little overcooked for my liking, as I prefer it when it's still pink and added to the sauce at the last minute, but that's still a preference personal. Otherwise, everything was really excellent! 🤩I absolutely recommend this restaurant. Additionally, the service was super nice and caring, with several visits to check that everything was perfect for us. 🌶️🥰

We discovered this Thai restaurant during our week of vacation. There were 6 of us there, twice within a week. The food is absolutely top class. Incredibly delicious, everyone really enjoyed it. The service is also A1 and very accommodating. We will definitely stop by again on our next vacation. Highly recommended this restaurant. Addendum: On our second vacation 3 months later we were again thrilled with the food and service! 🤩

Top food, top people, worth repeating

Gisteren voor de tweede keer chuchee pla gegeten (gebakken vis in rode curry gegeten) geweldig al veel restaurants bezocht maar zo lekker nergens, kok ga zo door super.

Well... nothing special... 3 man/woman operation... the 2 in the service were great - ambience, well - food just the same, well + it took forever - there was 1 woman in the kitchen but she really managed everything herself - conclusion - when you wait for food you ignore hunger - and a mere 90€ for 2 people is not without it 🙊🙉🙈

Excellente cuisine authentiquement thaïlandaise, avec un beau choix de plats. Le service est chaleureux, mais un peu lent et des fois on nous a oubliés. Le cadre est sobre, sans plus.

All in all a lovely evening. Everything fits, nice staff, delicious food and attentive service.

Very nice restaurant. The food was super delicious. The waitresses were very concerned about the guest's well-being. We often asked if everything was to our satisfaction. Price performance is completely okay. If you would like to eat Thai food, I can only recommend this restaurant.

It's been a long time since we had such good Thai food! Everything, including garnishes, was spotlessly fresh. The young enthusiastic owner served us and his wife was in the kitchen. As soon as we are back in Zeeland we will detour to eat here again.

My boyfriend and i we have visited this restaurant for lunch during the summer market. We had very delicious food such as fried rice with chicken and non alcoholic Thai cocktails. Loved it! will be back again soon.

Very tasty food, service is good, the only downside is the amount of white rice served with each dish. The amount of white rice could be a little more, but ordering more immediately costs 4 EURO extra.

Afgelopen week heerlijk gedineerd! Begonnen met een mix traditional waar o.a smakelijke viskoekjes op lagen. Goede keuze voor als je niet kunt kiezen. Daarna de overheerlijke soepen geproefd en als hoofdgerecht Phad thai met garnalen en de Geng kheow waan zeker een aanrader! Een dessert kon er helaas niet meer bij maar dat is iets voor een andere keer. Lieve bediening en er ging een goede sfeer. Tot de volgende keer!!

A nice place to discover in the center of Kamperland! . Since its opening last year, we already visited this restaurant several times, meaning that we love to go there. This year, they added a terrace where you can eat in the fresh air in the summer. We always received a friendly welcome and an efficient service. The food is delicious and the portions generous for an affordable price. If you like the real Thaï food, it is the place to be! Michel

Nice Thai restaurant with very nice service. The food was good but something different than what you get in Thailand. The food was very nicely prepared and was of good quality. Really very nice condition really tries hard and the food was served quickly.

It is absolutely not normal to wait until 1.30 am before being able to eat... This is the only negative point but it is significant.... Absolutely worth reviewing...

Authentic Thai food which totally lives up to the original in the middle of kamperland mad props.

Ich kann mir die hier abgegeben, positiven Bewertungen absolut nicht erklären. Wer hier von authentischem thailändischen Essen schreibt, hat wohl noch nie original Thai gegessen. Die Vorspeise, die 30 min nach der Bestellung kam, bestand u.a. aus Frühlingsrollen und Garnelenschwänzen aus der TK. Die Hauptgänge, die ungefähr eine Stunde auf sich warten liesen, bestanden aus einer undefinierbaren Nudelmasse die in einer nicht definierbaren Erdnuss?sosse vermatscht waren. Der Rillenschnitt des Gemüses lässt ebenfalls auf TK/ Convinience schließen. Dem ganzen den Gipfel aufgesetzt hat die Endabrechnung. 165€ für 5 Personen, wovon eine keinen Hauptgang hatte und insgesamt 10 Getränke. Ich kann nur jedem, der auf qualitativ tolles und authentisches Thai steht, abraten dieses Restaurant aufzusuchen.

Sinds kort serveert Sawaan ook lunch op donderdag, vrijdag en zaterdag, met een speciale kaart! Dat wilden wij ervaren en het was subliem. De sfeer is altijd warm en gezellig, het eten verrukkelijk en de service heel persoonlijk en kompleet

Very tasty dinner tonight! We enjoyed the massaman and pha neng red curry. You will taste the authentic Thai ingredients (including fresh kaffir lime leaves). The selection of starters also tasted good. Compliments for the kitchen and the friendly service! Tip: dare to ask for the authentic Thai chili pepper in the papaya salad, you will not be disappointed.

The service was very attentive and the kitchen catered to our every wish beyond our expectation (they even send out two small bowls of soup when they heard that we were planning to share) the food tasted great and very fresh! We have the fish cakes, massamam curry and phad krapao. All three dishes were delicious! I think the biggest compliment is that we would have given 5 stars if we had eaten this in Thailand 👍 real Thai ingredients (including Thai basil) and Thai chef. Service also very friendly and atmosphere also great. And you can also go here for Chang beer 😉

As a lover of Thai cuisine, I was surprised. The authentic flavors and aromas of this restaurant would not be out of place on a bustling street in Bangkok. The dishes are authentic and full of flavour, a testament to the fresh ingredients and the chef's expertise. I had the Massaman curry and was immediately sold. The creamy, slightly spicy sauce with soft potatoes, tender pieces of meat and crunchy peanuts tasted exactly as it should. It was like being in Chiang Mai again! Sawaan is an absolute must for anyone looking for authentic Thai dishes. The friendly service completes the experience. If you are in Zeeland and longing for the flavors of Thailand, Sawaan is the place to be!

We waren er weekje op vakantie in Kamperland en hebben twee keer heerlijk in het zonnetje bij Sawaan geluncht. Wat een fantastische ervaring. Dit restaurant wordt gerund door een echtpaar met veel gevoel voor gastvrijheid en het eten is er verrukkelijk! De Tom Kha Kai soep en de curry’s zijn een echte aanrader. Dit restaurant verdient een dikke 5 sterren!

We were on holiday in Kamperland for a week and had two lovely lunches in the sun at Sawaan. What a fantastic experience. This restaurant is run by a couple with a great sense of hospitality and the food is delicious! The Tom Kha Kai soup and the curries are highly recommended. This restaurant deserves a big 5 stars!

Top restaurant!! Unfortunately we only discovered it on our last evening here in Kamperland. Otherwise we would have liked to come again. The food is authentic Thai cuisine, very well done. The dishes are shown on the menu exactly as they come to the plate. This gives you a good impression of what you are ordering. You can also get the dishes with original Thai spiciness. The types of tea served cold are all very tasty, we tried them all. We were recommended something for dessert that wasn't on the menu. Sticky rice with mango. It sounds unspectacular, but it wasn't. It was very convincing, from the very friendly and competent service, to the fresh starter soup, to the tasty main course and to the dessert, which was really something new for us. No talk of boring baked sad banana with honey. This restaurant is really worth a visit and offers a nice change from the usual culinary offerings.
