I went for lunch. It is located in the Cammeleur, which is a cultural center. The food is very tasty and you have the option to put together your own lunch… which I think is always a good thing. Drinks are not expensive (certainly not city prices here) and that makes it very attractive. Nice view of the park and Villa Kakelbont. Personally, I don't care much for the atmosphere, but that might be due to the building's multifunctionality (and that is, of course, a personal experience).

Rude service, not at all hospitable. I even had to order before I waited. They need to work on their communication skills.

I always go there to drink a cappuccino and read the newspaper.

Good food and drinks, friendly and helpful staff.

Had a nice lunch and in the evening saw a good theater performance with nice snacks and drinks before, during and after the performance.

Yesterday I went to lunch with a friend in the Cammeleur. We ordered tuna salad with a bed of rocket. This was a disappointment, because the salad with raw vegetables was not fresh and brown. The tuna mousse was on top. This does not improve the taste. I told the waitress about this, but she did not respond at all.

Conveniently situated on the edge of Vredeoord Park, the view is always stunning. The Marche is small, but perfect for a delicious lunch or drink. While you're enjoying lunch on the terrace, the children can read in the library or run through the park.
