Grand café de HANgar in Presikhaaf-Oost

Just wanted to get an ice cream when I saw that the disco dip was past its sell-by date, very bad, nothing to complain about the atmosphere, nice crowd

A wonderfully cozy, welcoming place. Wonderful to lose yourself among those books with a cup of coffee, tea, or a glass of wine. There's also regular live music on weekend evenings. A real gem!

My Christmas evening was ruined because of the appalling treatment by the bar staff, who refused to serve me for reasons they made up themselves. They refused to sell me not only alcohol, but even water, and also denied me access to the restroom. I was morally humiliated and discriminated against. Someone had already written in the reviews that they felt a racist attitude in this place — I join them. I do not recommend going there if you are not Dutch for ten generations.
