Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. They moved some tables together to accommodate us last minute without a reservation & gave my niece some warm milk even though it wasn't on the menu. My mom had a great frozen latte (dark chocolate flavor) while the rest of us went for beers. Unfortunately, didn't eat there as we were planning for a meal at home, but I would like to go back.

Very good and generous food, we were bikepacking ourselves so we couldn't leave the packed bikes unattended. The terrace was not open but we could sit there. Inside was cozy messy and heated. Service is friendly not very fast but inside it was very busy.

Had a super tasty lunch at this atmospheric, cozy place. Thanks to the sun we could have a nice lunch outside on the outdoor terrace, but it also looks very cozy inside! Service very friendly and good, fast service. Difficult to choose from the tasty and original options on the menu. Incidentally, also very reasonable prices. We chose the brie sandwich. That was a very tasty whole. Tasty homemade lemonades lemon with it. Everything you get looks equally well cared for. I would like to come back here again to try something else from the menu or for dinner.

The staff were very friendly and always delicious. We wanted asparagus and were given two options: the standard one with ham and one with lamb chops. I had the standard one for €20, which was tasty but really very small: 5 baby potatoes, 3 slices of ham, and 5 asparagus spears. More like a starter than a main course. The same was true for the asparagus with lamb: tasty but really too small, and the price wasn't even mentioned: €32.50. It really wasn't worth it. The quality was good, but the quantity and the location... all in all, it was way too pricey for a weeknight meal.

Beautiful place and beautiful building. Been twice now. The first time we had to wait a while as the service had to eat, which should be fine. Went today for the 2nd time and not super enthusiastic. Only certain staff members are allowed to take orders for food (lunch), which means you have to wait a long time, tea is brought without sugar or honey and a mini cup of soup was also half full and tasted like packets of soup instead of a tasty freshly made soup... too bad

Celebrated my 80th birthday at the Old School with my wife, children and grandchildren. Enjoyed this evening. The atmosphere, the dinner, the service, everything was, in one word, excellent! And all that for a very acceptable price.

Tonight the four of us had dinner here. Nice building, cozy atmosphere, original furnishings, excellent service. We found the food mediocre. The dust bowl was an indefinable mess, the duck and ribeye raw, the vegetables not cooked enough. Shame!

Satay didn't really taste like anything. Unfortunately also some bones in the chicken thigh. But above all, poor service. Girl who asks if you want something to drink, gives you an answer - not yet - and 1 minute later she asks again... something with a short memory. Please also note that if you book with friends in 1 name, you can apparently be seated at two tables if you do not arrive at the same time. They sat at the front and we sat at the back of the restaurant, without us knowing this! After 20 minutes of calling where they were staying, they just sat at a table, but for…. After this joke, no free drink or free sandwich...

We hebben er geluncht. Het interieur is leuk aangekleed. De kaart ziet er goed uit. We hadden de soep van de dag . Een goede erwtensoep. Zoals die hoort te zijn stevig en goed van smaak.

Organized a party here for my wife's birthday. Half of the inside reserved for 30 people. Service was very friendly and asked questions about our wishes. Delicious snacks and a drink with our group. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Birthday celebrated with 56 people, concluded with a dinner for 15 people. Great atmosphere and service, tasty snacks and delicious food. Just a pity that we couldn't order a few Dame Blanches for dessert.

Een hele gezellige inrichting. Het was erg druk en lawaaierig maar op zich hadden wij daar niet veel last van. Waar wij helaas wel wat last van hadden was het feit dat wij erg lang op ons broodje vooraf moesten wachten en daar om moesten vragen. Dat zou dan gelijk met de soep komen….echter het brood was al op lang voordat de soep kwam. Na weer dik een uur wachten kwam het hoofdgerecht. Ook hier hebben wij om gevraagd. Het eten was echt heerlijk daar niet van maar het lange wachten was wel erg jammer. “De keuken heeft het erg druk”. Dat hadden wij inmiddels zelf ook begrepen. Later kwamen de excuses voor het lange wachten. Dat wel. De bediening was ok.

Mussels season: So we went for the weekly changing “Old School Meal” (always €14.50), an excellent pan of mussels with sauces and fries. Half portion of soup from the day before. Dessert: “Old School Coffee” (= coffee of your choice with a chocolate and a liqueur, also of your choice). Was fine again.

06.09.24 heerlijk gegeten, niet te duur gewoon goed, aardige bediening. Lekkere drankjes. Wij hadden bavette spies en cannelloni, alletwee echt heel lekker. Wijn van de week was mooi glas wijn en home made vlierbessen limonade ook prima. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

It is a beautiful building, the staff is friendly, hospitable, I have not had the food, but I will, the beet menu could have more, but it is doable if you are on a parade.

Nice service, nice atmosphere. The famous Warmond Balburger was disappointing, no taste and watery. The rest of the sandwich was good. The bread with Carpaccio looked so good but was drenched in pesto.

I ate a Greek hamburger here. Truly TOP. Didn't know a hamburger could be so tasty.
