Grand Café Luxor in Wijk 00 Reuver

Om 12.30 uur waren we ter plaatse om aan ons gereserveerde tafeltje plaats te nemen. We kregen onze bestelde thee en de menukaart. Helaas houdt daar het verhaal op. Om 13.05 uur de serveerster gevraagd of we lunch mochten bestellen. "Ik kom er zo aan". Bij ons al de 1e irritatie, moeten we serieus vrágen of we mogen bestellen? Vervolgens liep de serveerster naar andere tafels om bestellingen op te nemen. Haar geroepen, maar we werden genegeerd. Gasten die later binnen waren gekomen kregen al hun eten. Toen zijn we naar de kassa gelopen, hebben onze klacht neergelegd, onze thee betaald en zijn naar een ander adres gegaan om daar vervolgens heerlijk te lunchen. Op onze klacht werd een "sorry" gemompeld door de serveerster, en dat was het. Jammer, leuke tent, maar een bediening van helemaal niks!!

Beste cafe en bios ooit. het eten is lekker en goede kwaliteit. de bioscoop is hele goede kwaliteit met lekker drinken en lekkers

Goed eten voor een "snelle hap" voor een goede prijs. Dinsdag even bij m'n moeder en ik werd door m'n moeder uitgenodigd om te gaan lunchen bij Luxor. M'n moeder nam een aardappel/knoflook soep en Bras brood met zalm, ik nam Bras brood met crispy kip, gerechten waren goed. Zal heeft een vrij beperkte kaart maar wat ze serveren is gewoon goed. Personeel is ook vriendelijk.

Went here for lunch today, and it was very enjoyable. I chose the (small) salad with smoked salmon, combined with a glass of pinot Grigio rosé. The salad was amazing with a really exciting dressing. Topped this with an espresso. All this set me back € 18,30, wich is great value for money. And this at just a 4 minutes bike drive or a 10 minutes walk from home.

Very tasty and highly recommended

This tent is also highly recommended for an extensive meal, lunch and/or a drink... especially nice for the dog if he happens to be present, there is always a bowl of cool, fresh water for them.

Bad service. Half empty terrace so plenty of empty tables, lots of staff also in the kitchen. But kitchen was not willing to let us eat because we had not made a reservation. Poor service as it was not busy and a waitress was constantly chatting at the same table for long periods of time. We just wanted to eat something before the movie. So for our next stay foroxity in Roermond.

Kerstdiner. Eten was lekker. Entourage onvoldoende. Bijna geen kerstsfeer, geen kleedje of placemat op tafel. Bestek in n papiertje op tafel gemikt. Plastic bloemen. Mocht wel iets sfeervolller. 4 jaar geleden was dat perfect. Kom nu echt niet meer terug! Eten was zeker erg lekker, maar sfeer is ook belangrijk! Wel jammer. Had me er enorm op verheugd.

Beautiful and affordable terrace on the market in Reuver. The seating is nice, but the service is hopeless. First had to wait 15 minutes before a server even came and then had to wait another 30 minutes for a snack. Too bad they don't even apologize. Not to be repeated.

Management asked "Do you have to?" Excuse me?!? And not a smile to be found anywhere. Tourists are certainly not very welcome. Too bad, because Reuver is a very nice village.

It might be the only place in Reuver for food and a drink, but they certainly don't take that for granted! Nice service, good snacks.

Kitchen stays open till 2100h on a Sunday🥳 amazing Schnitzel, tried the zwarte kip it was interesting(in a nice way) we were suggested Bügels with cheese sauce as an appetizer and boy they're amazing way to kill time until the food arrives. Friendly and prompt service!

Delicious meal in the restaurant. Fast and friendly service. The sea bass fillet and the black chicken are highly recommended! I will definitely come back here.

The atmosphere is great, the selection is good. Service has improved greatly and people are asked for drinks more often than before. Yet sometimes we still sit with an empty glass for quite a long time. If someone comes, the next colleague will immediately follow. Price-quality is still excellent! Would love to come there.

Always pleasant on the Luxor terrace. And nice indoors in the winter.

Only 4 stars for service. Everyone is very friendly, but it takes a long time to place the order and we had to mention three times that we wanted to pay. Still highly recommended!

Great place for lunch or drinks. I recommend the chicken wrap. The cocktails are well mixed and varied. Sometimes the wait on a server can be a bit long but with the terrace and inside open it's understandable.

Van buiten ziet het er leuk uit en de prijzen zijn prima! Het duurde alleen erg lang voor er iemand kwam en tussen door, ondanks zwaaien ook. Maar als ze er waren was iedereen vriendelijk!

Vantevoren gebeld dat 2 vd 8 personen vegan zijn en dat was geen probleem: de kok zou iets lekkers maken. Een maal gearriveerd bleek dat we uit de 2 vega gerechten mochten kiezen en daar werd dan de kaas e.d afgehaald en op de pasta zou tomatensaus komen. Kwartiertje voor aanvang kwam hoofdgerecht maar het was “misgegaan” dus zonder saus. Maar zo gelaten want film begon bijna. Vervolgens de hele nacht gebraakt want er zat dus duidelijk wel zuivel in. Pizza kwam kaal zonder kaas want de weg oversteken naar Plus voor een zakje Violife was teveel moeite! Heel slecht. Zeg dan gewoon vantevoren dat het te moeilijk is om anno 2022 plantaardige pizza of pasta op tafel te zetten als “restaurant “Helaas wel de volledige prijs berekend. Personeel ook niet vriendelijk. Kom hier nooit meer uiteraard.

Na lange tijd weer open! Gezellige ongedwongen sfeer, lekker relax borrelen met goede plankjes en prima betaalbaar. Ook goed te lunchen en te dineren! Aanrader!

In het piepkleine dorpje Reuver (11.000 inwoners) staat dit geweldige bioscoopje met artdeco elementen. Bij aanvang van de film kregen wij een plakje cake. Als het rustig is mag je zelf je zitplaats kiezen, zo niet dan gebruik je het plaatsnummer op je kaartje. Je mag je zeer betaalbare drankje tijdens de film opdrinken. De bar is achter in de bioscoopzaal. Wij betaalden 7.50€ pp voor de film van Sir David Attenborough. Na de film uit eten geweest in het gezellige bijbehorende restaurant. Bar en terras zijn ook erg gezellig. 27.50€ voor een heerlijk driegangenmenu. Complementary broodje met kruidenboter vooraf. De gangen komen vlot. Zeker na zo’n film was het leuk geweest als er meer vega keuze zou zijn, maar de kaart is natuurlijk wat kleiner. Verrassende bioscoop met grandeur in een klein dorpje is goud waard.
