Too bad there is smoking on the terrace

We went to the Grand Café for lunch today and I honestly can't explain the bad reviews. As soon as we sat down at the table, the waitress arrived. Since we weren't ready yet, we asked her to come back later. There is a QR code on the table with which you can view the menu online, also in German, and order and pay directly. We tried that right away. When the waitress came back to take the order, we had already ordered online. Shortly afterwards the drinks arrived and, in a reasonable amount of time, the tomato soup and the sandwiches. The food was fresh and very tasty prepared. We paid €42 for 4 drinks, three sandwiches and a soup. Very acceptable for delicious, fresh food. We give it 5 well-deserved stars.

I lost my debit card here. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

Ordering and payment only work via cell phone, the service staff only brings food or drinks that have been ordered and already paid for. That's a good thing, because otherwise I would have refused my €7.50 "sandwich", which consisted of 2 slices of toast, 1 ham and 1 cheese. The large plaza hall makes it relatively open and the children's shows also take place here on the nearby stage. This means it gets crowded and really loud in the afternoon. It's better to enjoy a relaxing coffee (€4 a cup, by the way) in your accommodation.

In principle it is self-service, but we were helped immediately on the spot. Friendly staff, food was tasty. Not five stars because it was a bit pricey.

Didn't eat but just had a drink. What a hopeless tent. Opening hours are incorrect, it has become self-service, but they can't even handle that. In the evening 5 people do nothing and the guests just wait. May perhaps be intended as a camping bar, but completely hopeless. Too bad😪

The food is fine, but I'm sitting here today and I see the same incompetent manager walking around as I met a few days ago at the steak restaurant in the park. That evening she had no control over the situation at all and she doesn't now. The lunchroom no longer serves lunch at 1 p.m., but does give new people a table. I order drinks and then want to order food, but that is no longer allowed. Hopeless.

Enjoyed sitting on the terrace. Self-service due to staff shortage. Also nice actually. Enjoy the sun with a view of the lake. Prices are fine.

Het eten is verzorgd en lekker. Echter is de bediening totaal ontregelde chaos. En als je vraagt saar iets krijg je een snauwend antwoord. (de cola komt er aan mevrouw en dan zien dat dan wordt ingetikt en gemaakt) Potentie is er, aansturing en inzien dat klant koning is mist.

Top service en lekker eten! Een aanrader.
