Grand cafe Noordeinde in Rijnsburg

Cozy terrace, very friendly service

The food is really great and delicious. The service is very courteous and helpful.

My rating is for the hotel! We did not eat in the restaurant, but slept in the hotel, which is located behind. The rooms are clean and well-equipped. The bathroom is large and spacious. There is coffee and tea left. A working refrigerator. The low rating comes from the fact that the landlady did not want to issue two invoices, as we initially agreed. One invoice remained for two overnight guests. This caused us a lot of problems.

It had already been half a year since we last ate here. At that time, the food was of superb quality. Last Saturday, however, we were somewhat shocked by the quality of the food. First of all, the Bosschie eel starter was served on a thick piece of bread on which the eel was not visible, and when eating, you could barely taste the eel. Next, the medium rare rib eye was served as well-done; this was resolved by the wait staff, but the person with the rib eye could not eat at the same time as the rest. The sea bass was very dry on the sides, with the skin on the sides, making it impossible to swallow, and the satay looked very meager. We are not used to this from the multiple times we have eaten here in the past. It is very unfortunate to have to experience this decline. I almost never write reviews, but I just had to get this off my chest. The service, by the way, was top-notch.

Delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, clean toilets, and affordable prices

Great value for money. Beautiful and tasty lunch dishes.

What a fantastically beautiful establishment Grand Café Noordeinde in Rijnsburg is! The decor is atmospheric and warm, making you feel welcome immediately. That feeling is enhanced by the incredibly friendly staff; very hospitable and attentive. We had a delicious meal: the Caesar salad was superb in flavor and the sole fillets were perfectly prepared. To finish, the Dame Blanche and the Irish coffee were a real treat. Highly recommended for a cozy and culinary evening out!

Always a great atmosphere and good service.. highly recommended!!

Had a delicious meal and friendly service

Busy but very cozy. Good drinks menu.

The service at this restaurant is top-notch, and the menu is truly exceptional. We had Easter breakfast, and it was fantastic! What a generously filled table. Truly delicious. Top-notch restaurant. 👍👍

We ate with 6 people this evening. Delicious dishes and personal attention. They also make something for a child that isn't on the menu. Great! We would love to come back.

Nice terrace with spots in the sun and shade under the parasols or canopy. Only had a cappuccino. Disappointing, a bit weak coffee, runny milk foam, and still 4.20, too bad.

Awesome location! Super friendly, helpful, and attentive staff! Great food! 😉 Very centrally located. Excellent value for money. We'll be back. Top-notch!

We had a very enjoyable evening last night! Very good service and incredibly nice staff! We will definitely be back :-)

Very nice restaurant with friendly service.

Dining at Grand Café Noordeinde for the first time. Beautiful ambiance, very cozy inside, but certainly outside as well with the lovely fireplaces. Highly recommended, had a super delicious meal!! Very hospitable and very friendly service. We will definitely come back here again. 🥂

Great place, good service. Always a good atmosphere and the food is excellent, but especially the staff.

We were very satisfied and would love to come back again!

I recently discovered the existence of this restaurant/cafe, and for lunch I chose my favorite menu: Bread with fried egg, ham, and bacon. The cafe's decor is cozy, the welcome was friendly, and the staff were nice and helpful. I had already made my choice online in advance. I was able to park my car nearby.

Excellent value for money. Had a delicious lunch.

After our visit to ESTEC in Noordwijk, we stopped here for lunch — and what a pleasant surprise it was. Instead of the usual cheese sandwich or fried eggs, the menu offered truly delicious and original choices. The staff were friendly and attentive, the interior warm and inviting, and the atmosphere wonderfully relaxed. The food was outstanding: refined and beautifully presented. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. Absolutely worth a visit — highly recommended.

Beautiful location for a party. Thanks for booking for December 31st. Also for the delicious food and great atmosphere.

Great place! Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service.

Super cozy, friendly staff, and good advice. The cigar is highly recommended. Definitely worth it.

Excellent restaurant, especially the meat dishes. Smooth service. In my opinion, the best restaurant in Rijnsburg. We should be careful with that. You can study the menu at home. It's a bit dark in the restaurant.

Went for dinner with a group of friends, the food was really good and the atmosphere was nice and cosy.

Pleasant and enjoyable experience, fast service and delicious food

Excellent meal for a grand cafe, definitely recommended if you want to dine out!

Great food, good service. Nice team.

We had a delicious meal before we went to see Soldier of Orange. Nothing to complain about.

Delicious food, friendly staff and perfectly located on the bus route to Noordwijk

Great omelette and pleasant service.

We ate here for the first time tonight, and it was truly a wonderful experience! We were curious what it would be like, but the food was even better than we expected. From appetizer to main course and dessert: everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The restaurant has a cozy, atmospheric atmosphere, the owner is very friendly, and the chef definitely deserves a compliment for the delicious dishes. In short: highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

We had dinner with 4 friends yesterday. The main course was good. The tuna also tasted really good. Unfortunately, we had already finished the dish after asking multiple times when the fries were coming. They were not what I am used to at the Grand Café. They were soggy and pale in color. Since we were sitting outside and no one came to ask if we wanted another drink, we had to walk inside twice. The only thing we were told was that there were only 2 staff members. When paying the bill, 2 of my friends who ordered coffee received it for free. Very disappointing.

We are from England and we regularly used this cafe as a stop off for coffee and beer very good service and very pleasant staff really nice bar cafe restaurant and very clean we will be back

Nice relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and the waitresses 'get' it.

Ate here yesterday. The children had a kids' menu with 3 pieces of chicken for 9 euros. That is way too expensive. The fries were downright filthy/stale/stale. The frying oil hasn't been replaced in ages. Our main courses didn't arrive at the same time either. The fries we got with them were just cold and, in my opinion, had been re-fried multiple times.

I had a wonderful meal at Grand Café Noordeinde with my friends. The food was excellent and clearly prepared with care. What a difference from the dinner I had last time (about two years ago). Now the food is much better and the service is much better. The interior has also been nicely refreshed, which makes it even more inviting. In short: a very positive change and definitely a place I'd love to return to!

Very good restaurant, very friendly service, very beautiful inside, nice and spacious, and most importantly, the food was delicious. I celebrated my birthday with my wife last Thursday; it was very nice. If I could give 10 stars, I would have done so.

beautiful place, delicious food♥️♥️♥️

Great place, great food, best service. I am speechless

Here, conviviality knows no bounds. Enjoy the specialties and wines. So much choice, and friendly service. And the owner, Niels, is always up for a pleasant conversation. In short: definitely worth returning.

Service 5, Food 4, Atmosphere 5 Really good fries! The other food was okay, looked great but tasted different… still had a good time! Super friendly and attentive service!! 🫶

Been here several times, good atmosphere, good service, only the food lacks flavor. It is presented very beautifully, but once you start eating, you notice that there is very little taste. Very unfortunate. And perhaps an area for improvement.

Friendly staff, uninspiring surroundings, and furniture that is much more dated and less luxurious than the photos in the advertisements suggest. Sufficient for a quick, nice meal. Attentive staff and a nice cook.

Service was not that good slow if you ask for something you have to enter it first then it takes a long time for them to bring it. Had ordered extra fries the table had already been cleared and then the fries arrived 🥴 Just enough in total!

We have been twice, just for coffees. The service was very good, the coffees were served with liquers and the cafe was very clean but also atmospheric.

Very nice, new and cozy brasserie/restaurant with a sleek contemporary look, original surprising menu and submenus. Very hospitable staff and quick service! The maturing cabinet where the tasty rib-eyes are produced does its job well, ensuring that the meat retains a wonderful structure, tenderness and aroma. The outdoor terrace with cozy lighting exudes welcome. The location is frequently visited by the nightlife crowd during the weekends. Definitely a good new addition to the village called Rijnsburg!

Nice location. Billiards and darts possible. 2 rooms. Good food.

Nice Grand Cafe! Nice atmosphere and excellent food.

From 8 p.m. the music is at such a volume that you can no longer hear each other at the table. Nice menu for dinner, drinks and a small but excellent wine/beer menu, but the service and experience were disappointing. More cafe than restaurant. Not worth repeating for us unfortunately.

Lovely bistro. This place is a really nice bistro with lot of inside and outside table. Lot of kind of beer and foods. Pretty cool the atmosphere here. Sometimes parties. Have a big room with billiard tables and darts board. Here the best an end day talking or a warm date. The staffs are kind and helpful.

Unfortunately very disappointing. The menu on the website is very different from the menu you get in the restaurant. The food was disappointing and there was little choice for children and no children's dessert. Very little dessert to go with coffee and nothing special. We were really disappointed and there was little understanding for this. Other times we have had a great meal here, but this time it was a real joke.

Lovely place to eat and catch up with friends and family

Just randomly chosen because we happened to be in the area, and what a delicious meal we had! Nice menu for a good price. Nice staff that even took the time to tell us something about the origins of the restaurant. We will definitely come back here again.

Had a great meal at Grand Cafe Noordeinde with the business. The Carpaccio was very tasty, perfectly prepared Tournedos and a number of nice boards with various delicacies for dessert. In short, highly recommended.

Delicious food, but because of 'the concept' the music is way too loud and the lights are almost turned off, so you have to look at your menu with a phone lamp. Missed opportunity, but let it go

Was here twice for dinner Both the kipsata and the beef skewer were very tasty. Nice service. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious coffee and good service of drinks

Celebrated my birthday on Sunday in the courtyard of Grandcafe Noordeinde. Great location, fantastic extensive hot and cold Buffet and super Grand dessert. My guests enjoyed all the delicacies, but also your enthusiastic and cheerful young people who provided the service. Also a big compliment to chef Kok Dennis. The buffets looked great.

The website states that the kitchen is open until 10:00 PM, and the location itself until 00:00 AM. I made a reservation on the day itself at 9:00 PM (this was also possible until 10:00 PM). After we arrived we were told that the cook was already on the terrace and that the kitchen was only open until 9:00 PM. The lady serving also thought that this was until 10:00 PM.. A big setback after a hard day's work and a lot of rushing to make time. Then just order something via home delivery...

Excellent meal, nice atmosphere.

Cozy atmosphere Excellent service Tasty food Nice terrace

Great food and amazing service! Now I am a regular customer :)

We begonnen met een Tulp Sprits. Heerlijke cocktail als aperitief en most try! Daarna heerlijk gegeten.

Great meal. Nice atmosphere and service.

Friendly staff food was good nice inside atmosphere was very good Had a pleasant evening

We have reserved a table for dinner, which has also been confirmed. When we arrived at the restaurant we were told that there was a party tonight and there would be no food. So we had to look for a new restaurant further away. Next time, please do not send a reservation confirmation or announce that an event will take place without food.

The food, sea bream fillet with garlic paste, the chef's schnitsel, excellent. The service is attentive, fast and correct. Atmosphere is informal. Ambience is not for a restaurant, music is loud, so are table conversations (but this could also be the other way around). In short, you can eat well here, but if you want a quieter experience, choose another restaurant.

We received a nice welcome on Easter Monday and were quickly served a drink by a friendly lady. She brought the menu with the announcement that the salmon sashimi and salmon were sold out and there was 1 tournedos left. Too bad, but together we chose the chateaubriand, the house specialty. After 5 minutes we received the message that this was also sold out. And unfortunately the tournedos was gone too. There was also a Nice to meat dish on the menu, but without a description. Asked the nice lady what kind of meat that was. She said ribs and stuff???? She couldn't answer my question about what and what it was. But I'm going to ask it for you. Unfortunately, the cook did not want to answer, so we strongly suspected that we would be left with the remains of the scarce supply. Too bad if you want to eat in your new hometown for the first time. With many apologies and a free drink, we continued exploring.

Nice interior ,good food, very good value for money ratio, friendly service

Business cup of coffee done. Excellent location for the auction.

Very nice restaurant with nice dishes and that little bit extra. A surprisingly nice experience and we will definitely come back!

Nice restaurant with friendly service. The port and wine tasted great, as did the fries. Unfortunately most of the satay was dry and the burger had to be remade as it was raw inside. The dessert did make up for something. We chose the Grand dessert and it was very good.

Immer wieder gerne.

Delicious food, nice lady due obs clerk!

A top grand café, super good food and varied selection. Top service and there is a nice atmosphere inside

Hele gastvrije bediening, super eten, overweldigend genoten! Ouderwets gezellige bediening

Een nieuwe eigenaar met een nieuwe kaart. Weer genoten!

Leuk restaurant, zorgzame bediening. Gevarieerde kaart. The seaside pasta is echt een aanrader!

Super lekker gegeten, vriendelijk personeel.

On a nice location you will be friendly served with good food and tasty drinks. Tip; try the Grand Dessert.

Prijs, kwaliteit super.

Bediening is zeer vriendelijk, alle verzoeken werden vervuld. Komen zeker terug :)

Hartstikke gezellige bediening en erg schone borden/bestek enz

Super sfeervol grand cafe. Komen zeker vaker terug !

Leuke en gezellige bediening! Eten was verrukkelijk en meer dan genoeg. Heerlijke uitstraling vd tent, zowel binnen als buiten
