A lovely place to rest for a while, have coffee or tea, or have lunch. We still have to try out dinner. I'm sure it will be fine.

Nice, had 2 glasses of wine. Very little in the glass for the price. Shame.

I had a Broodje du Provence, which tasted just as promised. Deliciously tender strips of beef (juicily prepared), onion, mushrooms with a tasty sauce. A delicious salad on the side; nothing was exaggerated. Nothing special, but simply good! A nice glass of Chardonnay with it, what more could you want?

We had a very good meal at this restaurant in the middle of the Beuningen shopping center. The quality and taste of the food were great! The staff was also very friendly; Nora, in particular, performed her duties as a waitress excellently. The fact that the prices of the main courses are only 15 euros on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday is truly unprecedented in these times. Value for money: a solid 10. We will definitely be back!

The food is tasty, but the service is a disaster. I’m not usually one to write bad reviews, but I’m going to do it in this case anyway. We made a reservation for 5:00 PM because we had our 2-year-old daughter with us. We reserved early hoping we would be finished on time. It took us 40 minutes, and asking 3 times, to finally get the menu. We ordered the three-course special. The starter arrived reasonably quickly, but by then we had been sitting there for well over an hour and had only had 1 of the 3 courses. In between, the staff didn't come by to take our drink orders either; glasses had been empty for ages but were ignored. Guests who wanted to order their food at 6:00 PM were informed that they could no longer order because it was too busy and there was a large group (8 people, and the terrace was nowhere near full)... Those people paid for their drinks and walked away angrily, but the staff didn't even manage an apology. We had to ask for a few things a couple of times—a new drink, a beer glass, etc.—but they just said yes and then didn't come back. At 7:00 PM, by which time we had already been sitting there for two hours, we asked how much longer it would take for dessert, as it was getting very late and we wanted to put our daughter to bed soon. "It will be here shortly," was the answer. By then, our table was empty, except for the dirty cutlery that no one took away. We had no more drinks, no more glasses, nothing. At 7:30, we walked inside to ask if the dessert was still coming, but it turned out it hadn't even been made yet. So there you are, sitting on a terrace for 2.5 hours with a little one who should have been in bed by now... In the meantime, we changed our daughter's diaper on the terrace, because there was absolutely no space or other possibility for it there. So, in the end, we walked away after 2.5 hours without dessert. "Miscommunication with the kitchen," but two cooks had already left. We are not coming back here.

What a disgrace! After waiting for well over 45 minutes, we couldn't order anything to eat due to so-called busyness. A couple who sat down at least 15 minutes later were able to order. But for us, they had to double-check first; that was the second time and the final straw. I am really never coming here again; what a lousy place, and that's putting it mildly.

Today, on King's Day, I had a cup of asparagus soup with my sister; it was already very sweet. I mentioned this politely. Unfortunately, we both became very nauseous and are lying miserably on the couch an hour later. I reported this because I don't want any more people to get sick. However, he only wanted to start a discussion about sugar. After all, asparagus is sweet according to the owner. Now, that is true, but these are not sweet. Once and never again.

Surprise dinner with a friend of ours on his birthday. He doesn't like being in the spotlight, so naturally we didn't comply. The super friendly staff immediately came up with an idea to celebrate this as elaborately as possible. During dessert, we ended up with a birthday song playing over the sound system, an ice fountain, and maximum fun. I don't know who enjoyed it more, us or the staff. Highly recommended!

We had a tasty meal here, although the hamburger could use less onion. We were there for a birthday, and they handled it really well! Music with a happy birthday theme and an ice fountain. Great and super fun.

It's a shame the service is so bad. Our only request was if we could omit something from the drinks platter and add something else, and we even wanted to pay more for it. The answer was that the chef wouldn't do that, according to the waitress. Such a shame!

We were there for a private party for our neighbor's 70th birthday. She had rented the restaurant for 60 people. The food and drinks were good, and it was a very pleasant atmosphere, but you have to create your own atmosphere.

Had high tea here with a friend. We have had quite a few High Teas, but this one was a bit disappointing. Not in terms of quality, but it was a lot of food, in our opinion too many (especially heavy) snacks. After the soup and the first round we were already full. So we asked for the sweet snacks, so that we could enjoy them too. That round was also a lot. Luckily we were allowed to bring a doggy bag. I would still advise this restaurant to serve some lighter snacks. By the way, good service, nice tea, good atmosphere (a bit noisy sometimes).

Recently ate there for the second time after the first time was very disappointing because the food was very salty but we wanted to try it again unfortunately the hot food was as salty as broom again. (heard more complaints about this) Too bad because it is a cozy place with nice staff, only customer for the coffee and cake now.😰

Provence is highly recommended if you like good food, there is a relaxed atmosphere, In terms of price, Provence is not really expensive, the map could use an update but "why chance a winning team" ;-) My wife and I like to come here, especially when the weather is nice, on the terrace!

Had a nice lunch with the 2 of us. There were quite a few people there and it wasn't annoyingly busy. We didn't have to wait long and the staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere could be a little better but maybe it's a matter of taste.

Het eten was lekker, maar het personeel was trager dan een slak met een blinddoek voor. Ze waren drukker met ??? dan met hun gasten. Na een half uurtje eindelijk de door ons gevraagde drankjes en kaart ontvangen. We moesten overal -na een handgebaar- om vragen er ging niets van hen uit. Ik zou ze graag eens instrueren, want begeleiding misten ze in elk geval. De oudere dame (eigenaar/bazin?) stond alleen met wat lui te kletsen. Goed voorbeeld. Stop ermee als je er geen zin in hebt òf zet je schouders er snel onder. Want dit gaat zó niet vanzelf goed komen. Succes!

Wij komen hier regelmatig en over de kwaliteit van het eten geen commentaar, die is gewoon goed. Maar de bediening holt hard achteruit. Je moest normaal al lang wachten, maar in deze zomer periode is het wel heel hard achteruit gegaan. Je wordt gewoon genegeerd. Bediening let niet op tafels die vol met vaat staan en ze zien gewoon niet dat mensen zitten te wachten op bediening. Het zal wel vakantiepersoneel zijn, maar dit gaat niet goed. Vandaag nog geweest en weer het zelfde. Je vraagt de kaart en verwacht dan dat ze kort daarna de bestelling opnemen. Niets van dat. Aandacht gevraagd, krijg je de mededeling dat ze zo bij je komen. Weer niets. Heb tenslotte maar gewoon afgerekend en weggegaan. Nig geen verontschuldiging gehad. Blijkbaar vinden ze dit normaal. Sorry Provence, maar jullie verliezen hier een vaste klant. Gr. I am extremely disappointed after a visit to Provence today. We start by looking for a spot, lovely under one of the many parasols. We were the 5th table to be seated. After about 15 minutes our order was taken. After another 15 minutes we only got our bitterballen. 2 tables that had been seated later than us and had also ordered, then received their ordered drinks. But we were waiting for our drink with cooled bitterballen… Some time later our drinks finally arrived. At 4:40 PM the staff came to ask if we wanted one last round. They close at 5:00 PM. So there are still 20 minutes left to have a drink. A family of 4 came to sit on the terrace at 4:44 PM. These people were told that they had just completed a final round and that nothing more could be ordered. Then I went inside to ask to pay, which was followed by a deep sigh from one of the staff members... My question is therefore; Is there a manager present who works with them and guides the young people and guides them through the catering industry?

A nice place in the center of Beuningen. Here you can enjoy a nice drink on the terrace when the weather is nice. In the morning, with a nice sun, I enjoy a delicious latte here. But you are also in the right place for a nice lunch, enjoy it on the terrace. You can also relax here indoors, especially when it is cooler. It will become a regular stopping place for me.

A bit disappointing visit . We arrived after 18h00 and waited a long time for any service. We asked for the menus but they said they had run out of menus, but in the meanwhile, they could take our drinks order. There were no queues to get inside and we didn't see extra orders. We ordered steak but the waitress said it was finished so we ordered something else. It took about an hour for our food to be delivered. The prawn curry was very different - spaghetti, corn pieces and chick beans. Weird combination. According to my google timeline, we visited for 2 hours. Arriving, ordering and finally eating. Maybe we will visit Beuningen and this restaurant another time to check if it's improved.

Sorry. Dit is nu de tweede slechte ervaring bij de Provence. Eerder geluncht. Ik nam toen een twaalfuurtje. Het brood was zoals je dat bij de Aldi koopt. Het kroketje zoals v d patat tent. Niets van een herkenning van smaak of anders als van de friettent. Nu een half uur op het terras gezeten zonder dat er iemand vraagt of je iets wilt bestellen. Nooit meer een bezoek waard. Als te weinig personeel zou hebben zet dan minder stoelen buiten. Ik ben er klaar mee

Enjoyed a very nice lunch here with a few family members. Coffee beforehand and it was already good with a small glass of ice with a dash of liqueur. The various lunch dishes were all delicious. The porters were more than sufficient and the curry soup had a very surprising tasty taste. Definitely a place to eat more often.

Zoals altijd heerlijk gegeten maar wat een ware transformatie heeft het restaurant van binnen gehad de sfeer die er u hangt is zoals het zou moeten zijn in klein maar gezellig restaurant

Mooie plek om gezellig uit eten te gaan, helder en hygiënisch, niet lang wachten, prima kwaliteit eten, voor elk wat wils, gewoon kenbaar maken, dier- en rolstoelvriendelijk en heel vriendelijk aardig personeel. Gewoon vaker een bezoekje brengen om wat te eten en vooral de cappucino met monchou gebak, zalig.

Leuke locatie voor een hapje en 3en drankje. Met de meiden spelletje gekaart onder het genot van een drankje en een ruimgesorteerde borrelplank die goed geprijsd was. Heerlijke middag

Het was goed maar niet bijzonder,de sfeer vindt ik niet bijzonder. Gewoon een snelle hap en weer weg, maar wat je kreeg was veel eigenlijk te veel.

Drinken was lekker. Medewerkers blijven aan tafel zitten bij binnenkomst. Duurt even voor er drinken word opgenomen.

Eten prima, service zeer zeer slecht. Je besteld wat de serveerster die noteert het verkeerd en ze willen dan hebben dat je ook betaald. En gewoon volhouden dat je dat wel besteld hebt. Terwijl we met 3 mensen aangaven dat ze het mis had. We zijn weggegaan en komen hier nooit meer terug.

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken hier. Ik had een Viande de Provence, een soort van mixgrill zonder stok. Super lekker. Het enige kleine minpuntje was dat de tournedos wat doorbakken was. Ik prefereer medium rare. Maar we hebben prima gegeten en gedronken tegen een nette prijs. Nette bediening.

Heerlijk gegeten. Het overtrof onze verwachtingen. Nette prijzen.

Erg sfeervol qua inrichting. Vriendelijk personeel, mooie kaart en vaste prik voor mij is de cappuccino met de extra's!

high tea voor 4 gereserveerd: Wat ons betreft eens maar nooit meer. * kwaliteit viel erg tegen ten opzichte van de andere high tea in andere restaurants * erg rumoerig * wiebelende stoelen ( 2 stuks) * personeel roddelt luidruchtig over elkaar en andere klanten * bevroren appeltaart * prijs is hoger dan staat aangegeven op de menukaart Toen ik aangaf dat het me nogal tegenviel op de vraag: alles naar wens geweest, werd ik verbaasd aangekeken. Ik adviseer jullie om in Beuningen op zoek te gaan naar een leuker restaurant met vriendelijker personeel. Er zitten er genoeg!

Genoten op het sfeervolle terras. Een meer dan heerlijke Tom Kai Kai soep gegeten met vers stokbrood en onwijs lekkere kruidenboter. Vriendelijke bediening. Aanrader!!

We wilden komen lunchen en binnen waren vooral 4 persoons tafels vrij en één 2 persoonstafeltje wat naast de bar gepropt staat. Voor buiten vonden wij het te koud vandaag. Ik vroeg netjes aan de serveerster of we op een 4 persoons tafel mochten plaats nemen. Waren er een stuk 5 á 6 vrij. Ze vroeg het aan de andere serveerster en we kregen te horen dat we plaats moesten nemen aan een 2 persoonstafel want we waren met zijn tweeën. Naast het feit dat er al meerdere mensen op dat moment met zijn 2-en aan een 4p tafel zaten en er genoeg plek was, vind ik dit zeer klantonvriendelijk. Achteraf weet ik nu ook dat ik het niet had moeten vragen maar gewoon had moeten gaan zitten. We zijn vertrokken en ergens anders gaan lunchen. Ze durfde me niet eens aan te kijken toen ik zei dat we niet in dat hoekje zouden gaan zitten en dan dus zouden vertrekken. Ik eet er regelmatig maar voorlopig kom ik hier niet meer. Niet erg goed voor de klandizie dit. Hoop dat jullie inzien dat het anders moet.

Vanmiddag high tea gehad , niks bijzonders en dat we zaten vlak bij de bar zodat we het praten over klanten hoorden was nu ook niet echt klantvriendelijk, dus nee daar zie je ons echt niet meer ,

In het verleden vaker geweest en tot tevredenheid, maar deze keer was het echt onder de maat. Begon al met een pilsje (200cc) dat flink onder de maatstreep was getapt. €3,30 voor een 200cc pilsje is al stevig aan de prijs. Serveerster die ik aansprak zag geen probleem “we tappen zoals we altijd tappen”. Broodje hamburger met frietjes besteld. Frietjes waren smakelijk en knapperig, maar niet goed warm en erg vet. Hamburger was echt te zout - en dat terwijl ik graag mijn eten aan de zoute kant heb. “Die maken we niet zelf, maar kopen ze zo bij de slager”. Alsof dat een argument of excuus zou zijn. Mij zien ze de komende paar jaar even niet meer terug.

Eten is van goede kwaliteit. Echter liet de service te wensen over. Drinken kwam pas na 20 minuten. Toen werd de bestelling voor het eten opgenomen met een broodmandje vooraf. Broodmandje kwam binnen enkele minuten, echter kwam het hoofdgerecht vrijwel meteen erna (heeft zo'n 5 minuten geduurd tussen bestellen en brengen). Tussendoor geen enkele keer gevraagd of alles naar wens was en of we nog wat wilden drinken. Personeel was wel druk met de parasollen inklappen ivm slecht weer, maar jammer dat ze dan lijken te vergeten dat er nog gasten zitten. Tevens leek de eigenaar (?) rond te lopen die niet echt leek te zitten wachten op gasten, gezien de norse uitstraling. Gevraagd of wij binnen konden zitten ivm het weer, werd moeilijk over gedaan omdat er gereserveerd was (wij hadden ook gereserveerd en konden nog kiezen of we binnen of buiten wilden zitten, dus heel raar dat we in eerste instantie niet naar binnen konden). Uiteindelijk toch naar binnen kunnen gaan. Maar wel later een opmerking van de serveerster gehoord dat ze 2 mensen niet kwijt konden "omdat zij daar zitten". Voel je je alsof je een lastpak bent moet ik zeggen. Dessert besteld, moesten wel weer een serveerster wenken want ze kwamen niet uit zichzelf. Stond het dessert binnen 2 minuten (letterlijk!!) op tafel. Wat een avondvullend diner had moeten worden, was na 1,5 uur al klaar. Wij voelden ons niet welkom en hebben niet rustig kunnen tafelen gezien het eten ontzettend snel werd gebracht (té snel kan ook). Tevens bizar dat je voor friet bij de hoofdgerechten extra moet betalen. Zonder friet waren het wel hele kleine porties, dat beetje puree stelt niks voor. Voor lunch prima, maar diner slaan wij voortaan over.

Heel jammer, ik had Thaise noedels, maar ik vond er weinig Thais aan .het was een iets dunnere tagliatelle met roomsaus met daarop wat stukjes biefreepjes...de wortels waren niet beetgaar maar keihard .ik heb er weleens beter gegeten het viel me echt tegen.. jammer want je kunt er wel prima lunchen en je zit er gezellig..

Gezellig grand café. Bij de koffie/ thee een klein likeurtje mer slagroom en heerlijke lunchgerechten voor een goede prijs. Snelle bediening ook als het druk is doen ze heel hard hun best. Mijn favoriet is broodje brie uit de oven of de salade carpaccio ( met brood of friet)
