Wednesday afternoon we enjoyed an excellently prepared New Year's reception with 40 participants from the Zonnebloem D Ekker, Cobbeek, Centrum. Delicious pastries, tasty snacks, super friendly service. Everyone was enthusiastic and many guests would like to come back to you again. Thank you.

Yesterday we had dinner at Sowieso for the first time with 8 people (4 adults and 4 children). The concept of "dining" has been used, first of all, the restaurant and decoration look good and cozy. The service from a young lady was great and very friendly. Comcept itself still needs some improvement in terms of design and quality. It is sufficient, but there are businesses in the region that are better at handling such a concept. Although it must be said that the concept has only been running for a few months. But there is certainly room for improvement. Now the price is on the high side for what is offered, but as mentioned, the service makes up for a lot and we had a great evening.

Wonderful family high tea outing

Dit was voor ons de eerste keer hier. Wat werden we goed ontvangen door de eigenaar die ook heel de avond aanwezig was. We hadden een concept gekozen van 3 uur genieten van verschillende gerechtjes, wat avondvullend was. Het eten was heerlijk en zag er smaakvol uit. De tijd tussen de gerechtjes was ook prima. Ook voor de bediening onze complimenten, als ik zag hoeveel mensen er binnen waren (druk) ze hielden het perfect bij zonder dat je merkte dat ze het zo druk hadden. Als ze je bestelling opname of kwamen brengen namen ze er de tijd voor en waren erg vriendelijk. Je voelde je daar een welkome gast die ze een heerlijk ontspannen avond bezorgde.

We will come here more often. Now had high tea. Next time dinner and also lunch. 🤭

Anyway, never again, we had 3 dishes and all 3 reheated junk. I think the photos you see on the internet were posted by family or friends! So you're not going to get that. This was really the worst Grand Café ever for us and we regularly eat out

What a huge disappointment this was... my husband ordered spare ribs (like everywhere) but we have never encountered them that bad. We thought they were confused with a starter! A small bowl with a few ribs in it... You just can't serve something like that for €23.50!!! They were also just warmed up, this had nothing and absolutely nothing to do with spare ribs. I had prawns in the garlic oil. That wasn't allowed to have a name either. Tasteless and lukewarm. And that for €21.50!! My mother's chicken satay, same story. Price-quality really 0.0. After indicating this, my husband received the same portion. Nice of the man, but this also indicates that it was not in proportion! The service was friendly, there was nothing to say about that. Still, we don't recommend this place. You can eat much better and tastier food elsewhere for the same money. This has nothing to do with cooking.

My wife and I have eaten here twice now. The food is excellent. The portions could be considerably larger. I took a mixed grill and got six pieces of meat. The pan of cocq-au-vin was also very small. I think less attention should be paid to the presentation so that more can be given. The service is friendly and attentive. There is a large parking lot opposite the restaurant. If it rains, you can pick up your car with the loan umbrella. We will definitely come back - because my wife eats little and I also clear her plate. Yes, those portions really need to be a bit bigger.

Very tasty meal. We often asked if everything was OK and if we wanted something to drink.

Food portions including veggies are surprisingly small. Only the fries were big. The dessert brownies are very dry and too sweet. Below average dining experience overall.

Good food, friendly service, minus point is that the disabled toilet is not a disabled toilet, it is a standard (low) toilet that you cannot use with a walker, let alone with a wheelchair and when you have a disabled person in your party and select a restaurant accordingly That's a disappointment after all.

Its one of our favourite places in veldhoven. The service is top notch.. food is amazing and the ambience inside is so cozy and lovely.. it has got a kids area.. Recently also tried their high tea which is served from morning 11 and it was generous.. with unlimited amount of teas, a soup, 3 different kinds of sandwiches and then 4 difficult kinds of dessert..it felt special...

Cozy place in the center of Veldhoven. Had a nice meeting with tasty snacks. You can park your car in front of the door for free in a large parking lot. Recommended.

Very successful living room with good food for a fair price. Lots of variety on the menu with meat, fish and vegetables. The finishing touch is the lighting. Exclamation mark goes to the staff: very friendly and helpful and what stood out was the young lady who kept a very close eye on the needs of all the guests in the living room. Definitely again!!

Heel goede eerste ervaring. Pluspunten: reële prijzen, waar voor je geld. Mixed grill 4 soorten vlees, allen goed bereid, niet droog. Carpaccio prima,garnalen in roomsaus zalig! Zalm prima en gestoofde groentes erg lekker. Drankjes keurige prijzen. Vlotte bediening en beleefd. Open keuken, maar geen kookluchtjes! Minpuntjes: sinaasappelsaus (apart gelukkig) bij de vis,beetje waterig en smaak paste er (naar mijn smaak) niet bij- Victoriabaars en kabeljauw waren niet gekruid, en iets waterig (te snel ontdooid?),maar de structuur was goed. Veraasingstoetje van de chef (het was valentijnsdag) niet op de kaart, vonden we echt te hoog geprijsd voor hetgeen we kregen-smaak was wel goed. Gaan zéker nog eens terug, ook in de zomer, mooi terras! Aanrader dus !

It’s very cosy atmosphere while the weather is cold. The host is super friendly . The food was very tasty and as expected . We had ordered omelette . They used very little less oil unlike other places, which is very healthy and tasty too . Definitely looking forward to come back again

Nice menu with more than enough choice. Food was really tasty! I had the Boeuf Bourgignon (super tender) and the vegetables (cauliflower, carrot, red onion and mini Brussels sprouts) were not included (as is often the case) but for filling, but also a decent portion and nicely seasoned. Very friendly staff. Helped very quickly. It was my first time here but certainly not the last. A nice bonus is their savings system. You can register for this and with each visit 5% of the bill is saved (via app on your phone) that you can redeem later. Nice way to reward loyal customers! All in all, highly recommended!

Cozy restaurant, lots of choice with gluten-free food on the menu. You can eat KSB very tasty. Wrong sandwich served on the table, but the correct sandwich that was ordered was brought home at no cost.

Broodje was rijkelijk belegd. Zowel het broodje als de brownie waren heerlijk en op tijd gebracht (zelfs iets te vroeg). Ga hier zeker vaker bestellen!

Hebben lekker gegeten en de sfeer was goed en een goede service

Heerlijk eten in een ongedwongen sfeer en met een leuke bediening. Ook fijn dat glutenvrij eten heel goed mogelijk is!

Super veel keuze voor Glutenvrij er kan heel. En anders kan het aangepast worden ( en bij twijfel wordt het gelijk na gevraagd in keuken en duidelijk uitgelegd) En het is super lekker.

Prachtig restaurant met een relaxte sfeer en serveersters die plezier hebben in hun werk en een chef die trots is op zijn werk.

Heerlijke verse en zelfgemaakte bruchetta en calamares. Ook erg goede koffie. Vriendelijke bediening. Keurige porties en prijs, top.

Restaurant is niet rolstoel vriendelijk invalidentoilet is een lachertje. De deur kan open maar dan rij je dwars tegen toilet .En je kan met rolstoel niet in het toilet.

Leuk ingericht. Geen overdreven grote kaart, maar wel genoeg keuze. Prijzen zijn redelijk en het eten is heerlijk. Porties precies goed, ijscoupes zijn groot. Heel vriendelijke bediening, vrolijke serveersters met een glimlach. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar als we weer in de buurt zijn.

Ontzettend gezellige avond hier beleefd. Het personeel is er super vriendelijk, behulpzaam, enthousiast en zeer vrolijk. Er word hier echt met veel plezier gewerkt. Voldoende keuze op de menukaart, en het smaakte ons allemaal heerlijk. Vlees en vis gerechten, allemaal zeer smaakvol bereid, en de mooie borden werden netjes leeg geten. En het aanbod aan cocktails maakten het voor ons helemaal af. Moijito's waren perfect.

Alles was oke en lekker, bedankt en meer dan dat. Speciale dingen konden Sowieso. Wij komen hier ZEKER terug. Werden ook nog eens verrast op een leuke manier i.v.m 20 jarige trouwdag. Bediening waren echt relaxed en vriendelijk. Al met al een fijne avond gehad.

We komen hier al sinds de start van het grand café met een groep. Hele vriendelijke eigenaar en fijn personeel.

Een heerlijke warme sfeer is wat we hebben ervaren bij sowieso. Aardig en vriendelijk personeel. Duidelijk het gevoel dat ze plezier hebben in hun werk en naar elkaar toe ook amicaal. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is prima. Salade bij mijn kipsaté lekker vers. Kip en saus proeven ook niet als standaard, wel erg lekker. Vaker heb ik hier geluncht of een lunch laten komen. Altijd zeer tevreden geweest, verse producten, lokale ondernemers voor brood en kaas bijvoorbeeld. Goed gevulde broodjes en vriendelijk bezorgd. Meer dan voldoende parkeerplaats voor de deur. Gezellig aangekleed terras en gezellig aangekleed binnen. Gevoel van huiskamer. Warm en gezellig. Voor de kleintjes leuke speelhoek, evt spellen aan tafel voldoende keus daarin. Dikke aanrader.

Bij aankomst al hartelijk ontvangen terwijl we met 14 man binnen kwamen. Super vriendelijk, ook voor de jonge kinderen. Alles was mogelijk. Eten was heerlijk en meer dan genoeg voor een lunch. Als we dichterbij hadden gewoond waren we vaker gegaan!
