Very nice to enjoy the beautiful view of the water.

How do you sit down at the beautiful spot by the water? The food is nothing special, very standard menu.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch on the terrace with a view, with prompt service from the waiter who, despite the crowd, approached everyone with humour on his own.

The waterfront location is truly beautiful. But it's so sad that the service is such a letdown for this café-restaurant. It's simply terrible. We had to wait a long time to order. Then, after a long wait, coffee and pastries were brought, complete with a foot bath and stale whipped cream. The owner should really address this.

Bad experience. Dirty table. Asking the young waitress to please clean the table was met with indifference. She never returned. The bitterballen (meatballs) were greasy, breaded too thickly, and half-filled. Yuck! And expensive too... The clientele is a high-end "old folks' court." It's apparently a place where people come to see and be seen. People seem to know each other. The Dordrecht retiree community clearly enjoys it here. They sing along off-key and dance stiffly. The live musician could sing reasonably well, but the sound was terrible. His repertoire was tailored to the Dordrecht retiree community. The location is superb. Beautiful view of the rivers. That's true. Not worth repeating.

Mensen kennen elkaar blijkbaar. De Dordse pensionadogolf heeft het hier duidelijk naar haar zin. Er wordt vals meegezongen en stijf gedanst. De live muzikant kon redelijk zingen, maar het geluid was verschrikkelijk. Zijn repertoir was aangepast aan de Dordse grijze golf. De locatie is super. Mooi uitzicht op de rivieren. Dat dan weer wel. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Beautiful location on the water. Delicious mustard soup and a tasty healthy sandwich. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

We wanted to order food, but after waiting at our table for 30+ minutes we never got to and left.

Lovely, atmospheric terrace on the waterfront, with a wonderful view of the rivers. Fast and friendly service, and an excellent lunch.

Very disappointed. Only our table was not cleaned. I asked the waiter to clean the table, he promised he would, but he didn't, all the other customers' tables were cleaned before they started eating and they put paper placemats, only we were forced to eat on a very dirty table, it was unhygienic and disgusting. This is 100% discrimination.🤮

Heerlijk terras in de zon, vriendelijk personeel en bediening was erg snel! Helaas was de lunch niks (zalm op toast bestaat uit een kleine geroosterde boterham met vooral rode ui) en de prijs hiervoor is werkelijk belachelijk. Heel jammer!

I wasn't very enthusiastic about the salmon salad. I think price and quantity are a bit limited. There were some nice people in the ministry, but also some who didn't seem so inspired. When ordering a glass of white wine, we were not asked whether it should be sweet or dry. All in all, it is satisfactory, but in my opinion there is still some room for improvement.

When the waiter asks if you left your broom at home for a friend in the group, I wonder how welcome we are🫢 Customers are called sweethearts 🤨 Taking orders takes a very long time, we were asked several times if we could order something. But another lady was tipsy who helped us nicely 🍻Location is beautiful, view of the busiest river point.

Went here because of a party. A nice place and when the weather is nice you can sit outside and look over the Merwede.

The location is beautiful, but the service was bizarrely bad last Saturday. At first it took an awfully long time before someone came by to take the order. Afterwards, our table was still full of the dirty plates and empty bottles from the previous people. Even when serving our drinks, the waitress walked back empty-handed and just left the dirty plates. Anyway, once the order was served we were missing several drinks. We had to call or ask the waitress several times to complete the order. This didn't feel nice. A shame about such a top location.

Had a nice lunch here for the 1st time. Certainly not too little and also very tasty. Smooth and cheerful service. I had a delicious fresh bouncer called "Groothoofd". My wife had fresh mussels with bread, which was also very tasty. Insane view of the 3 rivers point, busiest shipping intersection in Europe. Beautiful surroundings too: in the heart of the historic center of Dordrecht, truly phenomenal! You also have a "12 o'clock". But then you get a lot, too much for us. Fair and not too expensive price for what you get. We will come back here more often.

Top location with clearly inferior service. Sat at the table for 30 minutes without an order being taken. After calling ourselves, we were allowed to order something from a lady who does not seem to work there for pleasure. She also left the eating utensils of the previous users that were still on the table all the time. Just put these eating utensils under the table yourself. Order incorrect twice. Special beer is served in a (dirty) vase. No, we will look further next time.

Lunch with 4 adults and two children. Good food, nice service, cozy furnishings, beautiful view. Top! 😀

Very cozy, the bar is also open so there are plenty of people present for fun. The people who work there are also very nice and happy to chat. Food was exceptionally tasty and also served quickly!

We sat at the table facing the stairs into the storage cellar. Every time the door opened, it smelled like a dead polecat rotting. The food was terrible, tomato soup didn't taste good and was expensive. Only frozen goods. Afterwards I had to go to the toilet immediately Price/performance very bad for me

We had dinner with 10 of us last Thursday. In a word, great and in a beautiful atmosphere. Good service and attention. Delicious dessert with lots of strawberries was super tasty. Wonderful ending to a beautiful day away.

Lovely place. Great spot but waited an hour and forty minutes for a very average dinner. Had to argue with manager to get a reduction in the price.

English speaking service without experience. It took quite a while even though it wasn't very busy and my order was incorrect. In the end it was tasty, so I left satisfied.

Bedieding met, zo lijkt het, geen horeca ervaring. Borden van vorige bezoekers laat men staan terwijl men vervolgens met lege handen naar binnen loopt. Ook even een doekje over de vieze tafel heen halen zat er niet in. Jammer dat de puntjes niet op de i worden gezet.

Unfortunately, you can't get any decent food for lunch anywhere in the Netherlands. But when half of the lunch menu isn't even available, that's embarrassing. The fact that the chef can't even make a Caesar salad as advertised on the menu is really lousy. At least the waitress understood the complaint and corrected the bill accordingly.

Service during Dordt Under Steam was simply very poor... pay first, because of course we were afraid that we would walk away, after 10 minutes of coffee partly in cardboard cups... and we also had to walk in twice to get apple pie from the bar ...Bah!!!!

Waiting more than half an hour for 2 slices of apple pie....

What a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine and some snacks....but of course you can have a full lunch or dinner too. The service is impeccable, the price reasonable (considering the location) and the view absolutely spectacular! Highly recommended

Enjoyed lunch here. Food was good. It took a very long time for the dishes to arrive on the table. We were there at 12.15 pm and the mustard soup was just sold out.

Nice place at the water, we didn’t order any food except for the ‘Dutch tapas’ (borrelplank), which was ok. Service could be better, it took a long time to order drinks because the waiting staff were most of the time nowhere to be found. Could be lack of personnel issues.

Heerlijk zitten aan het water. Ik had een tomatensoepje besteld, kregen 2 geroosterde sneetjes brood bij. Was erg lekker, alleen de soep was lauw, niet heel warm dus. Maar zeker goed te doen!

Ze hebben een ruim terras met mooi zicht op het rivierenknooppunt. Dus zaten we daar prima, met een fijn zonnetje. Maar na 20 minuten hadden we ondanks wat voorzichtig zwaaien en roepen nog geen contact met een serveerster kunnen krijgen. Toen maar binnen onze drankjes en gebak besteld. Daarna duurde het nog 10 minuten voor mijn bestelling gebracht werd. Doekje halen over het wat vieze tafeltje werd nagelaten. Later na enig wachten ook maar weer binnen afgerekend. Maar als gezegd, qua uitzicht zit je er prima.

Nous nous y arrêtons pour un café et une tarte au pomme comme indique le grand panneau aux abords de la terrasse, pas de tarte aux pommes, sauf visiblement pour les habitués qui arrivent même après nous. Tant pis.

Mooie plek om een reality soap op te nemen. Vanaf minuut 1 was er een voelbare spanning van de onderlinge problemen vh personeel. Eten was redelijk Deze mooie plek verdient beter

2 mensen die het hele terras moesten bedienen. Broodjes kroket en 12 uurtje waren prima te eten. Alleen geen boter op brood. Lekker in het zonnetje gezeten aan het water.

Ciekawa restarucja z tarasem . Widok z tarasu jest piękny można podziwiać wszystkie łodzie i jachty oraz te wielkie statki.

Alleen wat gedronken, ze hadden niks vegetarisch behalve appeltaart. Wel een terrasje met echt mooi uitzicht.

Prima bediening vriendelijk . Zelfs een bakje voor de hond geen probleem Jammer dat niet alles wat op de kaart stond voor de lunch ook geserveerd kon worden dat was slordig

Heerlijk terras aan het water, maar wat nog belangrijker is, is de klantvriendelijkheid. Een klein foutje in de bestelling maakte dat de eigenaresse persoonlijk excuses kwam maken en de chef kwam persoonlijk de juiste bestelling bren. Ze waren oprecht spijtig over de gemaakte fout. Daar kunnen heel wat restaurants nog een voorbeeld aan nemen, dus ik zeg: een TOP adres.

Prachtige plek, restaurant zelf heeft niet de uitstraling die bij deze magnifieke plaats hoort. Over het algemeen wel prima, bediening duurt soms wat lang.

Vriendelijke bediening en mooie locatie met uitzicht op het 3 rivieren punt,gebakken mosselen op heerlijk vers brood en kroketten op brood waren beude erg lekker🙂

Serveersters waren klantonvriendelijk. Lippenstift aan de randen van het bierglas. Beetje vreemde zaak. Uitzicht daarentegen wel mooi, dus dat is jammer.

Yesterday, I ordered a beefburger with grandma's chips and salad. The meal and the service were both disppointing. GOOD POINTS 1. Presentation of food: it was made to look good, but proof is always in the eating. 2. Pilsner: excellent. 4. Steak knife with 'bee': good. 5. Terrific view: busy shipping lanes. 6. Waitresses: well groomed. BAD POINTS 1. Beefburger: crap quality. Not fresh and not served hot. Obviously frozen, warmed up. Lacked texture. No taste of beef. 2. Grandma's chips: undercooked (pale yellow) instead of dark yellow. 3. The "salad": just a couple of pieces of cucumber with some sliced lettuce. That's a "garnish", not a salad. 4. I asked about a possible reduction, but waitress refused saying I had eaten all the meal. Not true. There should have been no discussion. Restaurants with any sense of pride would have not asked me to pay. 5. Waitresses: inexperienced. English was pretty poor. Some did not understand simple English words. This is not good for the tourists. I asked waitress "Is the beefburger good". She replied "Yes", but could not explain why. 6. Beefburger sauce: it was put in the bun. Result: bottom part of the bun was soggy. Serve separately? OVERALL Meal was not good value for money. Grandma would not have been pleased with those chips. Two American tourists asked about the "beefburger". I advised them not to order it and to stick to McDxxxxx’s. The left without ordering. If Gordon Ramsey had visited that day, he would have blown a fuse, I'm sure!

Na 2 keer vragen , ondertussen van t uitzicht genoten, toch een Erdinger weissbier gekregen. Echter, deze bleek vrijwel op kamertemperatuur. "Komt uit de koelkast, kan niet kouder" was t commentaar. Ik kreeg wel n ander glas, uit de vriezer
