Wanted to find an actually gold food place near Centraal and this is it! Ordered the chicken bacon sandwich - delicious. The homemade (HM) sauce is great. Owner is also lovely. Would recommend trying if you enjoy Greek food. FYI it’s just a small takeaway place with limited seating so don’t expect a sit down dinner.

Great place for a cold coffee and souvlaki in the center of Amsterdam. It's the 2nd year I've visited and it really saved us.

What a great establishment from location, to food, to exceptional service. I am a vegetarian and wanted a meat item with falafel’s to replace. The man at the desk (I believe the owner) was more than happy to accommodate and stood by the kitchen to ensure my food was made right. He was middle eastern, and when I asked for spicy he knew I didn’t want tourist spice but some real heat - he made it happen. Very affordable, very tasty.

As many reviews already written this was a great stop by arriving to Amsterdam Central and we were not disappointed by going there!!! Delicious food, well cooked and inexpensive taking into account that we were in the city center. Very friendly staff. We ate pork gyros and it was delicious. Very much recommended place!

we got the pita kebap & pita chicken which were very filling and affordable. They are located in a store unit that goes down so we had a hard time looking for their shop but just look for their sign

Whilst u can try the original greek pita there, they miss a lot of things to take five stars. The service was very slow. I was the only customer and had to wait a lot for a product that usually takes 5 mins to be ready. The price is high for their product as the quality of the meat or the tzatziki wasn't so good and the potatoes could be a bit more. Whilst u get to eat something tasty in the end me being a greek I wasn't so satisfied. In the end I will visit again for a review to try other products but for now they can't get better rating. If u aren't greek or u miss Greece visit, the price isn't bad for what u get in other Amsterdam places.

I love this place. I only found it recently, and I am very thankful that I did. To find somewhere like here, so close to central station and it not be a tourist trap is very rare. Fair prices, sometimes a long wait but I prefer to have the same quality every time rather than it thrown together if it is busy. Staff are amazing, very kind and patient. The name of the restaurant is right: food has the same taste as the one eaten in Greece (maybe because they are truly Greek!). The right place to save money, stomach and health.
