I came here a couple days ago and I ordered the Pita Souvlaki. The meat was very good, but the fries were a bit nasty. Overall it was a very good pita and the service was great. Inside the restaurant it's very cosy and warm. I would recommend this place if you want some good souvklaki and cosy atmosphere.

Great and delicious food. Reminded me of Greece. The place is small but there are a few tables outside if the weather allows it. The prices are better compared to other places that sell souvlaki. Of course I still consider them to be too expensive but at least it is worth it for once in a while to remind me of home.

Hands down the most incredible Greek food I’ve ever had. The location is perfect for a quick stop while you’re out and about shopping in the heart of the downtown area. Everything is freshly made to order, and you can taste the difference in every bite. We ordered the chicken pita and it was out of this world — the flavors, the freshness, the seasoning, everything was perfect. It was so good, I actually cancelled our dinner plans and came back later that evening because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. That’s how good it was. The owner was so kind and welcoming, and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert that was just divine. It’s rare to find a spot where the food, atmosphere, and hospitality all align so perfectly, but Greco Taste absolutely nailed it. I still think about that meal to this day and cannot wait to come back next time I’m in Amsterdam. Truly a hidden gem and a must-visit if you want authentic, soul-hitting Greek food!!

Amazing pitas. Very good and full of ingredients, you can see they were prepared with a lot of care and passion 💪🏻. The place is a bit small and cramped, but the service is ok and the prices are fair.

All the food is super yummy, served very hot. The people there are really nice. A favourite of mine whenever I want a quick dependable delicious meal to go. I’ve dined in and grabbed one to go multiple times.

We ordered here a big order for the office. It came 50 minutes late. When calling the person on the phone was rude, no apology for being late. And the pita's were not worth 10,-. For 10,- you expect something bigger and with fries aside, not a few fries in the pita. What a shame, not recommended.

After waiting 40 minutes for 3 souvlaki. The quality was poor. The meat was burnt and rotten quality like the cheapest pork you find in an Albanian souvlaki shop in Menidi. The meat was just gelatin. Not tasty at all. And we paid 8.5 euros for the souvlaki, very expensive. The worst in the Netherlands.

Personally I believe this is the best place in the whole Amsterdam for experiencing real and traditional Greek food. The quality of the ingredients is next level and if you consider what you pay for it is even more impressive. It's a must try 11/10!!

This small Greek eatery is located in the basement of an Amsterdam building; you could easily walk right past it. This Greek restaurant is more of a "quick-bite snack bar" in Greek style. You can eat there, but don't expect tables to sit at (two bars with six stools are available). The food consists mainly of Greek pitas and a selection of Greek sweets. There are also coffees and various Greek drinks in the refrigerator. There's usually only one person working, both taking orders and preparing the food, so there's sometimes a bit of a wait. We've been here several times throughout the year, and it's always delicious and comparable to what we've had in Greece when we wanted something tasty and quick, so it's a good choice!

Takeaway is fine, you can't really sit down here. The pita gyros were decent, good flavor, but way too many thick fries and very little meat. The owner is super friendly and really tries his best. A little more meat and fewer fries, and the five stars are in.

The best and most reliable quality of meat in the city! I am Greek and I really have not found anything similar in taste to my homeland in Amsterdam!! Here you can find a wide variety of pies and sweets with meats of their own production and fresh ingredients! The owner is impeccable in service and extremely friendly and the most important thing is that he is Greek!! Postscript: Always do market research on everything that has to do with Greek shops, as cunning [who are obviously not from Greece] try to take advantage of the appeal that Greek food has on an international level and offer services and food that do not correspond to the Greek reality!! An original greek canteen in the Amsterdam centre! Authentic flavours, friendly staff, nice vibes. You can find everything from pita gyro, to greek pastries, greek coffee, even greek fizzy drinks and candy! Reasonable prices. Would definitely go back!!

As far as Amsterdam food goes, it's okay. Compared to Greece or other countries, it's a maximum of 3*. The taste is okay, but there's not much meat, a very long wait, and long lines. This isn't a place for a quick meal.

This place was our first meal and one of our family’s favorite meals on our trip to Amsterdam. The food was just so delicious and perfect (we had the kebap pitas, plus sides of meatballs and fries). It is a small space but we were able to snag a counter to eat by the time our food came. The wait was a little long since we came at rush hour but the food was worth it. And the service was excellent too! Thank you!

Over an hour wait to get my food. Staff were rude when I asked where it was after 50 minutes. When they finally gave it to me I only got one of the two pitas I ordered as the forget the second one. Then another 10 minute wait for the second one, meals the first one was cold. Edit: they gave me a free desert to say sorry. When I opened it, it was mouldy.

The gyros is full of fries, without spice and salad, the meat is chewy, the pita is burnt. IT was the worst gyros ever tried. Befor this I liked gyros.

We had a great experience at Greco Taste from Greece! We ordered the Kebap sandwich, and the chicken plate and everything was incredibly delicious. Disappointing experience. Unfortunately, it really didn’t live up to the 4.9-star rating. Waiting time: 25 minutes for just 3 pitas – quite long for a takeaway spot. Service: Not very friendly; staff seemed bored and disengaged. Food: two pitas were burned, another had a weird taste - we actually had to throw that one away. Place: Very small, strictly takeaway only. Atmosphere: Unbearably hot inside, with no fan or ventilation on a scorching summer day. Wouldn’t return, especially considering the high expectations set by the reviews.

I recently visited this pita shop and ordered two incredibly tasty pitas – one pork and one chicken and bacon. Both were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor! The only minor points were that the shop was quite hot inside, and there was a bit of a wait for the food. However, I could see into the kitchen, and it was impressively clean, which is always a great sign. The quality of the food definitely made the wait worthwhile. I'll definitely be back for more!

This little place is definitely worth the visit. We had a gyro on pita, a haloumi on pita, and chicken souvlakia on pita. The food quality was excellent. All the food was cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to return.

The best Greek fast food spot in all of Amsterdam. Since I've been to greece and experienced the joy of Greek comfort food, i've been trying to find something of the same caliber in Amsterdam, well this place is it! The souvlaki here is absolutely delicious, all the ingredients are fresh and the seasoning is clearly on point. The only thing I can recommend to make the souvlaki even better is to remove a part of the fries and add a bit more tzatziki sauce. It was very busy when I was there but I still got my Pita in no time. I highly recommend checking these people out!

Honestly best food ive had in amsterdam and they are honestly not charging enough for it. The pork pita wrap takes a couple minutes but you will be rewarded with perfectly cooked and charred pork wrapped with fries and all the standard fixins. Track this little spot down trust me.

We bought wraps and they were fresh and full of flavor. Owners were friendly. Space is small and cramped but worth the stop.

As the store sign says, it seems to be a delivery and packaging store. The food is really neatly packaged and delicious, and the guy is really friendly haha. If it's nearby, it's perfect for take-out and eating at your accommodation. The seasoning is just right, and the pork skewers are especially amazing haha. Great value for money and great taste! The photo is of a pork platter. I also had the pork pita, but I think the platter is better!

A roll with French fries. Smaller than kebab rolls, just the right amount 🙆 The taste was average and I wasn't impressed, but it was easy to eat. I want to try another product. The male staff were very friendly, which is rare in Europe! There are 8 pipe chairs in the store. Touch payment possible🉑
