Wonderfully welcomed... hospitable nice people. Food was delicious, prepared with love. Can sometimes wait a bit long when it is busy in the shop... But as soon as your plate is on the table you can enjoy it with great pleasure.. They have real authentic Greek meat gyros, souvlaki, bifteki and the lamb chops, everything is delicious in taste and prepared in Greek ways. Small shop with full atmosphere,. loving staff, you are served with attention, that is why the service is also worth 5 stars. I will definitely come back again with all my love! Thank you for the delicious food and for the coziness!

We had 2 people who are almost ninety. We asked for a paper menu for these older people but they said that they no longer have a menu and that they should just use the QR code. Later we saw a couple in their 30s sitting at another table who did have a paper menu. I think it is a great shame that no effort is made for the older person who cannot use a mobile phone and QR code and cannot read the menu on such a small screen of a mobile phone. In this way, the elderly person is excluded.

This place is always full, reservations are needed if you want to make sure you can eat there. There is a good reason, it's a lovely place with friendly people and great food at normal prices.

Spontaneously arranged a table while a large group was expected. Delicious food at the round table. The staff worked hard and were attentive. Large portions, so we were really full.

My favourite restaurant in Utrecht. Excellent food, but the friendly service and great atmosphere is even better. This place deserves 6 stars! It's like a mini-vacation to Greece!

The atmosphere and decor was nice, cozy place with nice staff. The food, on the other hand, was extremely bad. The meat was dry, the bread was hard and old. The pepper dish we ordered clearly came from a pot and the eggplant was tough. The price-quality ratio was not good. We lost 60 euros for something we could have done better ourselves. If you want Greek food in Utrecht, go to El Greco. That's not fun, but it's really tasty.

Very nice Greek restaurant in a surprising location. A trusted address for pleasant Greek dining for years. Quality that used to be so common.

Cozy space, slow service but otherwise fine. Unfortunately, my wife was ill for a week afterward due to food. (I ate something else) poisoning. Later I called about it and was given the excuse that it had to come from dinner at home (I didn't have any problems with that myself). We didn't want any money back, that wasn't the point, but a little compassion would be nice, unfortunately nothing at all. We thought we would do something with it, we could come and have a cup of coffee, but there was nothing more to talk about. We're not going to do that coffee there, just because of that unfriendly attitude.

A Greek restaurant where it is actually always busy. The service is friendly and ready with advice. The dishes are typically Greek. It is wise to book in advance, it can sometimes be unexpectedly busy.

The food was disappointing, the starter and the moussaka were clearly microwaved and were both tasteless. The meat, on the other hand, was tasty.

Once again a delicious meal, very friendly staff.

We came here as a group of seven and had a great time. The food is delicious, the attention, service and speed is unmatched in the Netherlands, the people who work there are extremely kind. The complimentary tsipourou when we came in and mastic before we left only added more sweetness to our time. I wish I lived around the corner so that I could be a regular.

Cozy little restaurant that has been in a residential area for 100 years. As a toddler I used to come here to eat with my uncle, aunt and cousins. Now, many years later, still delicious Greek food. Ouzo upon entry. Just friendly people with delicious food!

Had dinner at Europa for the first time tonight and it was very good. Every now and then you find a gem like this. Friendly service and a casual atmosphere. And the food was really good. They will see us here more often.

Cozy eatery near the Griftpark. Good menu and sufficient choice between meat, fish and vegetarian. Very popular and therefore always make a reservation.

What a discovery, this Greek restaurant that has apparently been there for a long time. We've been looking for a good Greek in Utrecht for a while and we found it again. Dolmadakia as a starter was very tasty (you get 6 so it's filling). Then the lamb from the oven as a main course. Very tender. Tasteful. Finally, a baklava. Satisfied feeling afterwards. Nice wine too, by the way. And real Greek coffee. Friendly people. I would love to come there again.

I have been coming here since I was a child and my parents have been coming here long before that, for over 31 years. Delicious food, friendly service and a familiar Greek atmosphere in the middle of Wittevrouwen!

Mee geweest met een groep van 8 hier naartoe. Meesten zijn vlees liefhebbers, ik ben vega. Er waren 4 keuzes, waarvan de BRIAMI me lekker leek. Portie was erg klein i.v.m. de vlees gerechten en de smaak nogal vlakjes, dus heb ik er maar een voorgerecht bij besteld. Vriendelijkheid van de bediening verschilde nogal, sommigen heel aardig, sommigen star en nors.

Hier voor de tweede keer gegeten en opnieuw dezelfde conclusie: de voorgerechten zijn erg prijzig voor wat je krijgt, de hoofdgerechten zijn wel top. Tweemaal was de bediening matig. De gastheren zijn erg vriendelijk maar niet erg attent. Er wordt weinig aandacht geschonken aan de gasten, er is geen oog voor lege glazen, het duurt lang voordat je kan bestellen en voordat je je eten krijgt. Meerdere keren op de avond werden er drankjes vergeten. Toch jammer.

Gezellige sfeer, lekker en goed gegeten en prima service. Aanrader.

Al jaren kun je in dit buurt restaurant terecht voor een Griekse maaltijd voor een schappelijke prijs. Veel vaste klanten, dus een aanrader.

Typisches griechisches Essen mit viel Fleisch, Tzatziki und Co. Sehr lecker und üppige Portionen. Einzig der doch recht hellhörige Raum trübt etwas den Genuss.

Amazing restaurant, the best in towm!

Goed buurtrestaurant om een hapje te eten maar verwacht er geen culinaire hoogstandjes van. Leuke rustige plek en goede bediening.

Op zich een goed restaurant. Evenwel zijn de prijzen fors. De veel geroemde en aangeprezen lamsschouder is véél te zout. Een opmerking daarover naar de restauranthouder wordt genegeerd. Kortom: hier kom ik niet terug.

Het eten wordt goed klaargemaakt. Ben elke keer weer teleurgesteld in de enorme hoeveelheden vlees die je bij een Griek te verstouwen krijgt (zegt een niet-vegetariër). Dus misschien wat minder grote porties vlees en/of wat meer vegetarische keuzes op de kaart zodat er enige balans ontstaat in hetgeen je eet.

Super het eten hier, ouderwetse gastvrijheid en een hele moderne kaart. Ook vegetarisch! Traditionele gerechten door deze echt Griekse eigenaar die het buurtrestaurant al 40 jaar runt. Europa is een begrip in de wijk. Reserveren is handig want mensen weten het goed te vinden en dec reden is duidelijk, deze tent is top.

Heb er heerlijk gegeten en en prima bediening.

Het eten en de service waren perfect. Waarom we vier sterren geven is omdat de stoelen echt verschikkelijk zijn. Ze zijn echt heel erg oncomfortabel en pijnlijk om daar langer dan een kwartier op te moeten zitten. Dat moet echt vervangen worden.

So good--one of the best restaurants we ate at in the Netherlands. My husband ordered the lamb and said it was the best he has ever had. Excellent service, friendly. Do not miss this hidden gem.

First, thanks for the nice welcoming. I shall highlight that their services is great as they prepared a special pasta for us without cooking it with the wine so thanks for the cooperation. We ordered one salad which was delicious. Also the pasta was good and the five lambs chops and was amazing. And we had one Baklava and that was good I rate the resturent 4.5 out of 5

Nooit geweest eerder dus eens moest de eerste keer zijn. Erg verast zo midden in een woonwijk het ziet er erg gezellig uit van binnen. Het was ook erg druk zo op een door de weekse dag en de reviews op de site maakte ons nieuwsgierig. We kwamen binnen en werden ontvangen door een vriendelijke jongeman. En gewezen naar onze tafel. We bestelde meteen wat te drinken. We moesten erg lang wachten tot we een kaart aangeboden kregen. Wat blijft onder het kaarslicht zat een qr code en zo kwam je op de website om de kaart in te zien. Erg ongezellig. Heb toch liever een fysieke kaart. Helaas geen stokbrood kruidenboter bummer :-( voor de tzaziki gegaan erg knoflookig maar oke qua smaak. Als voor gerecht namen eij de gehaktballetjes helaas waren deze erg droog en niet zo smeuïg als we van andere griekse restaurants gewend zijn. Ook bestelde we een hoofdgerecht veel grote gerechten gelukkig konden we het na wens aanpassen. De souflaki smaakte erg naar houtskool, en het vlees was vooral om te huilen, erg veel vet aan het vlees en zelfs harde pezen, en niet mals helaas bijna geen vlees gegegeten. Ook de gyros was erg droog en de mousaka ook niet denderend. De knoflooksaus was gewoon weg smerig :-(. De friet was erg weinig en slap. Je kreeg niet standaard tzaziki bij je eten. De koolsalade wa el erg lekker. We hebben geen dessert genomen er was niet veel keuze en we waren best teleurgesteld in het eten. De prijs en wat je krijgt qua hoeveelheid is top als het nou ook nog eens had gesmaakt... Maar helaas voor ons geen 2e x maar smaken verschillen. De bediening was erg vriendelijk maar het duurde allemaal wel erg lang voor je wat kon bestellen.

Lekker gegeten. Het was best wel druk. Personeel was hierdoor te druk met serveren en had minder aandacht voor nieuwe drankjes regelen. Toch zou ik hier een volgende keer weer gaan eten, want goede sfeer..

Geweldig genoten van uitstekende kwaliteit eten, fijne sfeer, super vriendelijke gastheren. Beslist n aanrader, dus doen ! De foto is niet echt goed, trouwens. Ikzelf had de lymnos schotel. Een highlight was n fenomenaal stukje moussaka. Zo de juiste smaak.

Heerlijk gegeten en goede sfeer

De lamsschouder is een absolute aanrader, gleed letterlijk van het bot af zo mals. De kip is perfect gaar, perfecter dan mij thuis ooit lukt (maar laten we eerlijk zijn, perfecte kip is ook gewoon lastig te maken, toch?!) De setting is gezellig en het personeel enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Echt een aanrader! Wel reserveren, wij konden in ieder geval pas laat terecht. Zou je misschien niet verwachten buiten de binnenstad (of wel, I don't know) maar het is nodig.

Zeer leuke familie restaurant, zeer vriendelijke eigenaar! Heerlijk gegeten.

Echt heerlijk gegeten. De bediening was heel erg vriendelijk en binnen is het gezellig! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!
