The food was delicious, the portions were more than ample, and you didn't have to wait long for your meal. However, the waitresses didn't clear away the used dishes, didn't take away empty glasses when new drinks were served, and latecomers weren't even given their own menu. It's very noisy, making conversation difficult. Definitely worth another visit, but not on the weekend.

Food was cold, drinks were brought wrong. If you complain about this to the owner of the restaurant, you will be told that you are no longer welcome, while we regularly went to eat here. This is not how you treat customers, we will certainly not be able to do this

Really delicious food. Everything prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. It was also nice that the children could play in the back so that we could sit at the table for a long time

Been closed for a while. But today it was quite full. Good Greek menu. Service was okay, (a bit of difficulty with the language. Food was tasty. Price / quality absolutely good. Keep up the good work! Will definitely be back. Went back today for the 3rd time. Enjoyed it again. Went again yesterday. Nice, good quality and value for money... would love to come back again.

First time (18.05.24). Friendly welcome. It was quite busy. Fast operation. Ordered a 2 person meat dish. Well cared for and deliciously tender. And as always, way too much. Normal prices. Definitely worth repeating. Ordered food for home several times. I also really like this.

After hearing many good reports about Greek Restaurant Heraklion, I decided to try it myself today. Price/quality excellent, portion size was perfect (Crete dish for 2 people, extra fried feta). Service friendly and food served very quickly. In short, very satisfied... we will definitely come back again.

Food is reasonable, service is poor, speaking not good Dutch, more English/German, little contact with people and children clear the tables there and take everything with them, even when the glasses are half full

We came in and asked if we could eat here, but it took 10 minutes before we got the menu. We ordered 3 pita gyros, 5 minutes later they told us that it was only for take away. Then we decided to take it with us. Then waited an hour. I walked to the counter and asked where it was and suddenly it was ready after 5 minutes. Then I was given a dirty look by the staff. Food was tasty.

Have eaten there a few times and the lamb chops and gyros are my favorite! Portions a bit too big for me, more than enough for big eaters! Informal service, cozy.

Went for dinner with a group of 10 people. The food was very good, the meat was super tasty and the price/quality ratio was good. Very friendly staff. And you don't have to wait long.

Delicious food. Tender meat. Delicious. Not expensive. Friendly people. Parking free. There are 2 large parking spaces around the corner, but there was no room in front of the door. If there is anything that needs to be improved, it is the acoustics in the store. All in all, there is a lot of noise in the place, which could perhaps be dampened somewhat with some additional decoration. Some extra decoration would also make the large room a bit more cozy. But as said, otherwise a good restaurant. Asset for Voerendaal.

What a great restaurant! Tonight we had a really delicious meal here with 8 people. Both the starters and main courses were really great! Meat super tender and wonderfully seasoned. And regular prices for it. Even the dog got a plate of treats. Never experienced this before. What a great service! Too bad we live so far away, otherwise we would definitely come back!

Excellent food for a fair price

Great quality. You feel comfortable there. The service is smooth and friendly. Just a pity that there is almost no space to park nearby.

We had a fantastic meal, the starters, main courses and desserts were all very tasty, tender meat, tasty rice and side dishes. Staff was very attentive to whether everything was still sufficient, and very friendly. This is definitely a good Greek restaurant and we will definitely go there again.

Excellent quality food, especially the meat was excellent! Price/quality perfectly fine. The atmosphere is a little less, but that is of course personal (!).

Lushnja dish for two Everything delicious, Greek flavors, more than enough And due to the hot starters we had already eaten, this was impossible to finish, so we had to take it with us in a box (eat at home another day). Service good, make sure you indicate what you want, waiter still needs to learn some Dutch, but will certainly succeed Good coffee to end (with kumquat liqueur from Corfu)

Very friendly welcome, good service and delicious food. Yes, the waitress spoke English but so what. We live in Europe in 2024. In France and Italy you would be happy if a waiter could speak English. A great addition to Voerendaal and we will definitely return here.

The food is delicious & can be eaten there, but you can also take it with you just as easily. The restaurant was recently taken over by new operators.

We received such a warm welcome. What sweet, sympathetic and hardworking people! The food is, in a word, delicious!!! Wonderfully tender meat and generous portions. The Saganaki (starter) is my personal FAVORITE, but the fried mussels, scampi and fried feta were also delicious 😜 As a main course we had the Hercules dish with 2x souvlaki tenderloin, 2x souvlaki Aphrodite, 2x lamb souvlaki, gyros, rice, large Greek beans, tzatziki, fries and farmer's salad. For dessert 1x Baklava with ice cream and whipped cream and 1x Kadaifi with ice cream and whipped cream and it was wonderfully fresh. We really enjoyed it 😍 and will definitely come back more often. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND AN ASSET FOR VOERENDAAL!!

There was a praising article in the LIMBURGER last week about our GREEK acquisition in Voerendaal. This was evident during our visit last Sunday evening. The whole place was packed and the takeaway line was no less. Fortunately, we had made a reservation...The service was also surprised by this unexpected number of visitors and therefore had a shortage of staff tonight. They worked themselves around. This is not at the expense of their friendliness or at the expense of the quality of the dishes served. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Fresh products, tender meat, crispy salads and full portions. The vegetarians among us also got their money's worth. Good value for money and delicious. The staff apologized for the long waiting times tonight, but we accepted that. It was fun and we lacked nothing. Restaurant HERAKLION VOERENDAAL has fans. From now on we know where to go if we want a delicious Greek experience.... Okay, let's think deeply about an area for improvement? Then the many spotlights on the ceiling dim to create a warmer atmosphere. Or is this nitpicking?

made a reservation today before 5:30 PM for 7 adults and a child at Greek Restaurant Heraklion Voerendaal. What a huge disappointment 🤬 Waited an hour for the starters and then 1.5 hours for the main courses in total, so we waited 2.5 hours in total, no excuses, nothing, nada noppes, the food itself was really not bad, but after 2.5 hours of waiting we were starving. We didn't notice any of the friendly service, they speak and understand little or no Dutch. At checkout we once again indicated that we really couldn't find this, we were not offered a cent discount but were offered a small bottle of cheap wine. And a paltry apology! We weren't the only ones who had to wait for a ridiculously long time, actually all the tables around us complained about this. Very unfortunate, but never again for us 🤬

Ordered via the Heraklion Voerendaal website. This automatically referred us to an order form. It later turned out that this order form was for the location in Roermond. When we inquired, we received the answer "we have no contact with Roermond" Money gone, no food, too bad. A site in its infancy is not a problem, but an appropriate solution would have been nice

Voerendaal is een super grieks restaurant rijker geworden. Echt heerlijk eten. Super vriendelijke bediening. Een echte aanrader om lekker gezellig te eten.

Bii binnenkomst leek het erg chaotisch. 20 minuten moeten wachten voor we naar een tafel gebracht werden ookal waren er genoeg lege. Daarna +- 30 minuten moeten wachten op de kaart en drinken. Na n kwartier voor- en hoofdgerecht kunnen bestellen. Het heeft 80-90 minuten geduurd voor we ons voorgerecht kregen en 5 minuten later kwam meteen het hoofdgerecht. Eten was mwa. Als je vraagt om de rekening zeggen ze dat ze zo komen maar dan komen ze gewoon niet.

Complimenten aan de hardwerkende mensen die het aandurven om in Voerendaal een Grieks restaurant weer nieuw leven in te blazen. Ik heb vanavond afgehaald en was zeer tevreden over de hele beleving. Bij het ophalen werd ik door drie vriendelijke en hardwerkende personen begroet. De Ouzo die ik ter begroeting kreeg, hielp daar ook bij. Er zaten opvallend veel mensen te eten, dus dat is alleen maar mooi. Het eten was in een mum van tijd klaar en met twee handen vol verliet ik de zaak. Wij hadden een schotel voor 2 personen, Lushnja, voor €40,-. Daar konden wij met 2 personen prima van eten. De schotel was zeer gevarieerd waardoor wij de Moussaka konden uit proberen. Het was allemaal bijzonder smakelijk en netjes verzorgd. Ook de bekende boerensalade was aangenaam en droop nu eens niet van de dressing zoals bij zoveel andere locaties. Wij hebben echt heerlijk gesmuld en zullen zeker weer terug gaan. Een tip om de beleving wellicht nog iets te verbeteren: in het restaurant was de verlichting erg fel. Het eten is er niet minder door, maar iets minder licht zou het interieur een stuk gezelliger maken. Ik hoop dat we nog lang van dit restaurant mogen genieten. Ik wens de eigenaren en medewerkers veel succes.

Heel leuk dat er in Voerendaal weer een Grieks restaurant is. En zeer aan te bevelen! Vriendelijke mensen, erg lekker gegeten, gezellig Grieks muziekje en ouzo. Eenvoudig maar mooie, heldere inrichting met mooie wandfoto's. We komen zeker terug.

Eten was zeer goed we heeben hier een goed gevoel over dat ze dit verder uitbouwen naar de toekomst hopen er nog vaak te gaan eten
