Ordered food for delivery, including a cold pikillia starter. This means that you get a bowl of lettuce small shrimp, large shrimp and 4 types of a scoop of Greek dishes. This costs 12.95. Finally they delivered it. The food was just as we ordered, except the starter was just lettuce with a little bit of small shrimp. It looked like it had been left uneaten by someone else and taken back to the kitchen for reuse?!! It's not the 1st time something goes wrong. Or a dish is not included or you don't forget the extra tzazikki, fries and so on. After calling twice, we still did not receive the pikillia starter after more than 1 hour. I think this is the last time we ordered something there and the size was full. Capturing money but delivering half of it. Bad service and when you call it is as if you as a paying customer have done something wrong.🤬🤬🐇

If there are 20 minutes between ordering and delivery, you guessed it. The meat still had cracking flavor. I missed the taste of authentic Greek herbs. The gyros were floating in the liquid, clearly frozen. You have to choose 1 star but that is still too much. In Limburgish, it is said not to "......". NEVER AGAIN or you'll want to throw your money straight in the trash.

The food was not good. Lamb was completely cooked even though I requested medium rare. In addition, the gyros was cold and had little to no taste. The fries were hard and the vegetables were not cooked properly.

Eating out via a Social Deal. It was clear they are short staffed, service was very slow. After an hour and a half we only received the main course (starter after 30 minutes). Food was good, just a shame about the waiting time (2.5 hours for a 3-course dinner).

Always good food at Heraklion! Has become our 1st choice when we choose Greek. Wide choice, deliciously prepared meat. Portions as you expect from a Greek restaurant, not too economical. No problem at all just ordering some starters and having them served with the main courses for the little eaters!

Really beautiful! Very good food. The dishes (pods) as dinner with salad were very large. Lots of everything (rice, salad, tzatziki, fries and of course meat). Drink prices surprisingly cheap. A lunch menu is also on offer, Far away from the hustle and bustle and yet close to the center. If you want to have a nice, comfortable meal, it's a must. Very friendly and accommodating.

It really wasn't normal yesterday at Heraklion. We went there with 5 people at 7:30 PM. It was incredibly hot inside and every time we were there the air conditioning was broken. We ordered 5 dishes and 8 drinks and coffee, which arrived after 30 minutes. Every time they came with wrong orders that we did not order (tomato soup, cabbage salad and a lot of yellow but not our order. Well after 2 hours at 9:15 pm our food came but my order was again not. I asked when will it come because I have been waiting here for 2 hours for my food and it hasn't arrived yet. If you want, you can wait 5 minutes when the food is ready, we can pack it and take me home. I was really angry! It really wasn't normal. Well my parents have eaten and we hung out, my father said to the other girl Have a nice evening and she doesn't rule and she looks so angry and doesn't ignore. It was incredibly bad and not friendly. It's our last time going there. And I wouldn't advise anyone to go there with such staff who can bring food from 7:30 PM to 9:15 PM and even drinks came half an hour later. And the worst thing is that they are not friendly and did not apologize but look angry.

Simple great restaurant nearby where I live, Super tasty and well cooked dishes, everything was super tasty and delicious. Unfortunately the staff lady somehow bring a bit un-nice vibe, scares me a bit, and a bit rude kind of. Unfortunately also the pin apparat was broken, and was almost unable to give a change. The four of us had booked a social deal. All 4 were very pleasantly and positively surprised about the possibilities to put together our three-course menu according to your wishes. The price quality was really good beyond expectations. It's incomprehensible that you get so many goodies for such a small amount. It was super tasty and the portions were very generous. Highly recommended! We will definitely go back here more often (and even without a social deal) because the people who came to eat without a social deal were, as we heard everywhere, very satisfied with the quality of the food. Very poor quality (collection). Portion of kalamaris at 10 euros consists of 5 fried elastic bands. The Gyros and Suzuki was tasteless. The Souvlaki was fine again. I'll leave the fries out of this story. You can't do this to anyone.

If you order 4 children's menus because they include apple sauce, you will receive rice instead of apple sauce. You call and they say sorry, but the supermarket was closed. Well then. Next time, order from Irodion. Unfortunately it was now closed.

Waar je hier dik 1 jaar geleden heerlijk kon eten was het nu een zware tegenvaller. 2 schotels die koud waren. Mousaka waarvan de aardappelen blauw waren en garnalen die in de olie terug naar zee konden zwemmen.

Ordered food here via Thuisbezorgd. Then the restaurant called politely to say that the chosen delivery time could not be met, but that we could come and pick it up. Received a refund for delivery costs and then had a delicious meal! Definitely again.

Hier zien ze me werkelijk nooit meer. Naar mijn mening veel te weinig personeel. Na ruim een uur kregen wij eindelijk ons voorgerecht en een uur later kwam het hoofdgerecht. Het eten was niet te eten. De gyros leek wel uit de diepvries te kijken. Echt niet lekker. Dit was voor ons de tweede X……we wilden het nog een kans geven, maar helaas. Wij komen ECHT niet meer terug. Had nog liever gegeten van de mobiele shoarma zaak wat er tegenover stond. Zal zeker beter gesmaakt hebben

it was a horrible experience. from cold and dry food to poor service and long waiting times. and heavy loss of customers...

Only received 3 rounds of food in 2 hours and service never took our plates away or took our receipts

The sevires were slow and rude. Had tapas for 2 hours but only received the food after 35 minutes. I did not receive half of my food and the food we received was dirty. The best part was the ice cream and I could make it even better myself. The worst thing is that we often asked for drinks but always got nothing, so we went to the AH for drinks afterwards. Never come here again... rude mess that it is.

I have rarely eaten so much... Wait 20 minutes before your drink is served and then wait more than half an hour for each round before you can eat. Which is then served without taste and also cold. If you even get the food, because more than half of what was ordered was not served. Not a friendly personal either. Rude and leave all the signs. When you ask to clean up, 1 small pile is taken away and the rest remains. Overall very disappointed.

But then the party started. The main courses. 2 gyros dishes that were cold and quite greasy even after reheating. Mousaka. That was just gross. The potatoes in it were just blue and when asked, they were told that they had been kept in the refrigerator since Friday or Saturday. NB. We were there on Tuesday. Scampies swimming in grease Three dishes were okay. The other four went straight back. To compensate we got an ice cream or a cup of coffee. Quite expensive ice cream if you look at what we had to pay for food that was not eaten. In addition, the service was poor. Drinking without a glass. When it finally arrived, it turned out that there was also a fly in it. In short. Simply bad. Too bad about this. The 5 stars I first gave changed to 1 star because none is possible.

Sauce shame was a thing there too; not a drop of sauce in sight. And then you order something - hoping it will be edible - you just don't get it. We had to go back again. To top it all off: Maria. Oh, Mary. The epitome of how not to treat colleagues, especially in front of customers. Disrespect at its finest. And almost getting ripped off is the icing on the disappointment cake? It was as if we were attending a live performance of "How Do I Dupe My Customers". In short, if you are looking for a major culinary disappointment, with a side dish of bad service and a dessert of rudeness, then you've come to the right place. at the right place. Stars? Do not make me laugh. They probably had to pick it from heaven, because they don't deserve it.

Fantastisch gegeten, supermarkt vlees, heerlijke sardientjes,groot, en lekker desert, de chocoladetaart is een aanrader. Goede wijn, wij hebben genoten, ongedwongen sfeer, én fijn personeel. Wij gaan zeker terug.

The portions are more than sufficient. The service is excellent. The restaurateurs Kristina and Panos are friendly, warm-hearted, hospitable people. There is a cozy atmosphere. They regularly organize a Greek evening. Always fun and cozy! Restaurant Heraklion is easily accessible by car and public transport from the central bus station in Roermond with bus line 66 to Maasniel. There is ample parking in front of the restaurant and on side streets.

The food was delicious. A sardine starter that could have been a main course. The liver in the main dish was superb, rarely so much flavour. The service was super friendly and attentive, you didn't have to wait for your drink, so it was great. On a quiet Tuesday evening there is of course no great atmosphere, but all in all we can still enjoy ourselves very much. Recommended.

We wanted to eat there (for our wedding anniversary) with a social deal. Reserved with the notice, with social deal. They could not scan the print properly (print was not optimal). Het eten was niet allemaal gaar. We konden onze etensbon, die we gekregen hadden van familie, niet inleveren dus zelf moeten betalen. Dit was onze tweede keer hier. Andere eigenaar maar zelfde mankementen helaas.

Lokale Griek, hebben een goede keuken, eten is lekker, bediening kan soms de jongste dochter zijn van 3 (zon schattig kindje die mama incidenteel helpt) die haar taakjes zo serieus neemt. Een echt familiebedrijf, waar je proeft dat men hart voor de zaak heeft.

Fijn niet te groot restaurant waar ze lekker eten serveren.deze keer gozen voor vis. Goed bereid.. meer dan voldoende...

Prima eten. Lang moeten wachten. Alsof de bediening de tafel was vergeten. Sfeer was opzich prima alleen speelde er constant zeer luide muziek.

Super lekker eten, vriendelijk personeel. Enige minpunt was dat er geen airco is of een ventilator. Met eten rond de 30 graden is het minder aan te bevelen (enkel door de warmte). Super leuk sfeervol restaurant. Kom zeker nog eens terug!
