The food here is always good. It's big too, so there's often plenty of room. Some people see it as a "food factory," but that doesn't bother me. The food is tasty and the atmosphere is good! Definitely go if you're in the mood for Greek food.

We didn't eat in the restaurant ourselves (this time), but ordered and picked up. Nice people; the cashier is a bit around the corner, so you walk right past it. But otherwise, everything is very quick and smooth. Delicious food and certainly plenty. Highly recommended.

We had a delicious meal consisting of a varied platter. The calamari are also highly recommended. There was a nice play area for the children where they could entertain themselves.

The concept with Greek tapas is truly fantastic. It gives you a better chance to discover Greek cuisine. It's a shame that it sometimes took a bit of a while for the dishes to arrive. However, it is nice that everything comes at the same time, so everyone eats together.

Delicious food, friendly service that was very helpful in accommodating special requests. However, the restaurant is large and therefore a bit noisy. Hence the one-star deduction for ambiance. Prices for a dish are usually around €18 to €25.

Quite a large restaurant, but nicely laid out with partitions, making it cozier than many other larger establishments. The food is good and the service is reasonably good, even when it is busy.

This isn't great anymore. Portions are very small. Dishes are more like appetizers. Furthermore, the atmosphere is dated, and the television commercials are a bit of a letdown.

I come here ridiculously often. The food is always good, the staff is always friendly, and the owner is also fantastic. Portions are always super generous, and they serve very quickly. And I find the prices very reasonable, not too expensive. The play area for the kids makes eating here hassle-free. It's been our favorite restaurant for years, and for us, the best in Brabant.

We had the 4-person menu, which took over three hours to arrive. I can't remember how many courses there were, but it was a lot. Most of the dishes tasted good to excellent. €250, including drinks, and excellent value. We had fish and shellfish, meat and vegetables, cocktail and oezo, delicious sauces—the whole package. The atmosphere was pleasant—not too noisy, but cozy.

The food is excellent, and the atmosphere and service leave little to be desired. The Greek night was absolutely fantastic. Hooray!

I've eaten here many times in the past, but this time I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the gyros and mixed platter. They were a bit greasy, and I found the flavor a bit bland. Although we were among the first, we felt the wait was a bit too long. I also think it's a shame that the atmosphere is lacking. The decor is very dated and looks a bit worn. All in all, it could have been a bit better.

We're Greece connoisseurs, so we recognize the Greek flavors. The large restaurant has a Greek atmosphere. The food was delicious and truly authentic Greek flavors. The Greek salad was also good, except we didn't have a single olive. That's a shame considering how many olive trees cover Greece. They also didn't have frappe cafè. A shame. Because you always want that, even in autumn. The service was a bit spoiled. They didn't give you a warm welcome. You're just another customer. So that's a real shame. But don't let this scare you away, because the food was absolutely worth it! We had the Kalamaris, which was plate-licking good! The Greek salad was included with the main course, and I had the Stifado, which was superb, and my husband had a mixed grill. Everything was truly delicious. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

We've eaten at Irodion in Oosterhout many times, usually with pleasure. This time, however, we opted for the mezes, and it was a huge disappointment. The food, as always, was of exceptional quality; there's really nothing to fault. But the service was downright terrible. The order slip wasn't collected, and the staff pretended not to notice we wanted to order another round. Very amateurish and completely unwelcoming. Even the owner was grumpy, which only worsened the atmosphere. The result: an entire evening completely ruined, despite the good food. Such a shame, because we've loved coming here for years. We'll have to think carefully about whether we'll even return, and if we do, it will definitely be for the tapas/mezes!

All in all, it was a great experience. The food was good, and the portions are generous – you really get your money's worth. I wasn't as impressed with the tzatziki. The service was friendly, which made the visit enjoyable. The interior is a bit dated and could use a refresh, but thankfully, that doesn't detract from the atmosphere or the quality of the food. A lovely spot for a relaxed evening with Greek classics.

The food was cold. After we reported this, we received a second serving with the unfriendly comment that we were sitting outside??? Couldn't the food be warm? Apparently not, because it was cold again. It's a shame the owner reacted so poorly and unfriendly. You expect more from a restaurant than a microwaved meal, because that's the best way to describe the food. It's a shame, because we've always had good, tasty meals here in the past, but tonight it was terrible.

Another fantastic meal. It's just a shame you can't fully enjoy your meal because cigarette smoke spoils the taste of your delicious food. Smoking is standing in front of the restaurant door, which just wafts in, which is a shame.

It's been a long time since we had dinner here and it was fantastic! This time it was worse than bad. We had the Mezas, or tapas. They asked if we wanted unlimited or per dish, so we chose unlimited. You can order unlimited tapas for three hours. Unfortunately, the menu changes every 45 minutes, which resulted in three rounds of tapas with two dishes per round, so six dishes and one round of dessert. We had to pay almost €200 even though we probably spent €60-80 worth of dishes. The card you have to fill out for the "next round" simply wasn't picked up, meaning we had to wait 45 minutes per round. In one round, one dish was oven-baked, resulting in the other dishes being cold. I was really looking forward to eating here with my wife and kids, but I will never, ever go back. The gentleman already indicated when we asked if we could sit outside on the terrace that we could, as they were short-staffed. This can always happen, and they can't do anything about it, but just be honest and say they're not on the tapas menu that evening. Don't make people pay almost €200 for €60-80 worth of food!

Highly recommended! I've been coming here since I was a child. Always satisfied with the food. Friendly staff. I especially love the scampi as a starter. I always order them and then dip them in the bread. The main course is always too much for me, so I take it home in a doggy bag.

Once again had a great meal here at Irodion. The food is excellent. When it is very busy it sometimes takes a little longer to get your food. That is why we go during the week. Then the service is excellent and the waiting times are shorter. So: if you like good Greek food, go to Irodion in Oosterhout. Went to Irodion again on Wednesday. Mezes. That is tapas but Greek style. Had a great meal. Unlimited until 2100 for 36 euros. Had a great meal. Make sure you fill in your list on time. Due to crowds it can sometimes take a little longer. You don't want to go home hungry.

We have eaten here before a long time ago, but it has changed a lot in our opinion. We arrived at 5 pm with small children and did not receive our main course until 7:30 pm. Although the meat was quite tasty, the portions were not really large, especially because there were no fries and only a bowl of gyros (which contained 1 scoop without sauce) was really not enough for my husband. We asked 3 people for the fries and when we finished eating we finally got a bowl of fries, which was also added to the bill as an extra?! The children's corner was great fun for the children. Bad value for money for almost 300 euros.

Wij komen hier best vaak, en nemen dan weer een schaal met verschillend vlees of verschillende soorten vis. Souflaki is ook lekker, ook de gebakken mosselen zijn heerlijk. Personeel is altijd vriendelijk, als je veel verschillende soorten eet weet je dat het perfect is bij Irodion in Oosterhout. Ook de mezes is een aanrader.

Great place to sit and eat, great staff!

Ate with 10 people and collectively all dishes were tough, lukewarm, dry and factory flavors. Moussaka is lukewarm, salmon is watery and tasteless, so it went into the pan frozen. Starters very sparse. Sitting down at 5 o'clock and not having the main course until 7 o'clock. The slowness was dismissed as too busy. But when we sat down there were hardly any guests. Staff also hang around and chat without interest. 1 staff member was also smacking around chewing gum while taking orders. Very disappointing.

What bad staff! We had a gum-chewing waiter. The staff also often stood around chatting and seemed like they had nothing to do. The restaurant was completely full. In addition, we had to wait an hour for our starter and then another hour for our main course. That's not an exaggeration... The staff also came by several times to ask if everything was OK or if we wanted something to drink. All in all, my food (chef's special) was reasonable. Only the Moussaka was not tasty at all. It tasted like water. And I have a feeling it came from the freezer. The salmon also came from the freezer. Because it also tasted like water.

Mussaka is not to be missed. Salmon comes out of the freezer anyway, tasteless and watery. We were seated at 5am because we had young children with us. We didn't have our starter until 6am, very plain, nothing at all and NOT worth the money. Not to mention the waiter who was chewing rancid gum. No one came by for drinks, no one asked if everything was OK. And our main course took ANOTHER hour before we received it. The restaurant is very attractive and beautifully decorated. But that's all there is to it.

I can't say we enjoyed it. There was a waiter who was constantly chewing his chewing gum. Not appetizing to have this at the table. The salmon from the aphrodite dish was watery, tough, colorless. The squid rings were not crispy. The kibbeling was overcooked. The decoration of the restaurant looks good! Unfortunately the rest was too disappointing.

We recently went for a birthday. After an hour and a half we had finished a round of tapas, it was not warm, lukewarm and I think the herbs were gone. They had put the guests in the children's corner, which was not as cozy as the sofas. The waiter walked around, we had to ask ourselves if we could have something to drink. We had to wait a long time for each round.

Went here for dinner due to a conference in the Bussel to avoid rush hour. In this case it's not "what you see is what you get." First impression on the nameplate doesn't promise much... but then you enter a kind of Punica oasis! Very big, very high, a lot and still empty when we arrived. That wasn't for long. The entire room was occupied up to every table. You won't have any problems with this because there is plenty of space between the tables. Friendly staff. Good menu and not too expensive. We had the Irodion dish which you think is not enough for 6 people. But it was more than enough with fries, rice, salad and tzaziki. Coffee. It was no problem at all to divide our bill by 6 and each person paid for himself. If I'm ever in Oosterhout again, I will definitely go back! It was delicious. Also clean toilets and a large wardrobe for coats. We were parked in the Basiliek parking garage and from there it is a 4-minute walk.

Always good food in this spacious garden restaurant. Chosen for the Mézès Greek tapas. Delicious small dishes so you can try many varied dishes. Booked in advance, but there was plenty of room.

Very very good Greek. I've been coming here all my life. Mostly with family in recent years. The irodion dish is highly recommended!

Unfortunately the food is nothing to write home about T 1 and another came from the freezer and when a whole tray of soft drinks and beer ended up in my food and phone, even an apology was too much to ask. I went to eat somewhere else, this was not very Greek.
