Grieks Restaurant "Kreta" in Voorburg Oud

Eten is zeer matig en de witte wijn Pinot Crigio is van bedroevende kwaliteit. Voorgerecht van Calamari is het enige gerecht wat een voldoende haalt. De hoofdgerechten waren bedroevend, waarbij de gebakken lever zelfs bedroevend was. Prijzen zijn niet erg hoog, wat begrijpelijk is bij deze kwaliteit. Bediening is erg aardig en niets op aan te merken.

The food tasted good. Missed the ouzo on arrival. And personally I didn't like the mushroom sauce that much, tasted too much like tomato. Missed also a few onion rings and tzazike with the gyros. Staff was friendly though.

Didn't eat here, did reserve a table but had to wait so long (half an hour) and there were still a lot of people waiting for a table. The place was packed and we didn't see anything on anyone's table. That didn't give us confidence and so we just left.

The food was good, I could finally choose fried liver again. The portions are too big for me, but that is quite Greek (although Cretans prefer to see themselves as something more than Greek). Service top notch.

Very cozy Greek restaurant, where there are already 36! can be enjoyed for years to come. Very extensive, varied menu, with plenty of choice, also for vegetarians. In addition to a meat dish each, the three of us had an omelette with feta. Recommended! Easily accessible by public transport and for those who come by car there is free parking under Voorburg station.

What a nice and atmospheric restaurant. Friendly staff and the Crete dish was delicious.

We were staying in the hotel across the station square. We went for a walk looking for somewhere to eat and arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday night without a reservation but we were accommodated with a smile and good humour despite the place being very busy. There was an extensive Greek influenced menu. We all chose different dishes and we all happy with what we received. Good choice of drinks as well . Service was good and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and busy. The experience was so good we returned the following evening.

Delicious and for the first time I ate at this Greek restaurant. The portions are not (much) too big but the taste is great. It would be nice if, in addition to the grilled meat, tzatziki was included as standard. This had to be adjusted further. We chose one large starter with different dishes to share with 4 people. In addition, each main course includes 1 children's menu and a dessert each. Some drinks including beer, wine, ouzo and soft drinks for the children. Bill was about 160 euros. We sat outside on the terrace at a nice table. Nice atmosphere! The service was very attentive and friendly. And as icing on the cake, the staff came to sing for our daughter's birthday. Of course with her dessert with a beautiful fireworks fountain. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Ik was hier een paar jaar niet geweest en had een zeer slechte avond. Ik had tegen een vriend gezegd dat dit restaurant goed was omdat dat altijd zo was maar bij de ingang stonden we te wachten tot we een ons wogen, het bestelde eten was vergeten (zonder excuus), bestek vergeten, kwaliteit van het eten is achteruitgegaan en de porties zijn veel kleiner geworden. Baklava zat veel teveel kaneel in. Ik zal hier niet snel meer naartoe gaan.

Gisteren hebben mijn echtgenoot en ik gegeten bij restaurant Kreta in Voorburg. Dit was een zeer teleurstellende ervaring. Ik wilde graag katapoulo souflaki. Dit stond niet meer op de kaart. Ik kreeg een klein stukje platgeslagen gegrilde kipfilet met een dikte van 3 mm met een enorme hoeveelheid frites. Erbij werd een salade geserveerd die bestond uit wat sla met 2 halve schijfjes tomaat. Een snackbar had dit gerecht vele malen beter geserveerd want dit was geen Grieks restaurant waardig gerecht. Wij gaan hier nooit meer heen en ik zal iedereen afraden dit te doen.

Crete is a household name in Voorburg and I always enjoy a delicious meal there and it is cozy with friendly service. Picked something up from Crete for the first time today It was all delicious, everything was equally tasty and of good temperature. I have never eaten such delicious Greek takeaway A big 10 for you We had numbers 1, 3, 14, 19 and 53, even the baguette was freshly baked and the fries were deliciously crispy. 👍👌

Good food, neat and clean, also an outdoor terrace where you can eat and drink and also smoke. Service is good and fast. Food is....affordable and delicious. Terrace is open in good weather from May. Pleasant.

The food was tasty and it was cozy...until I saw that people were eating with their dogs...a pet is nice, but not in a restaurant...I wouldn't go there again unfortunately.

The times I've been here, I've had a delicious meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very romantic and Greek themed. Staff is very friendly, helpful and fast. The food is nice. Something different than the 'standard' menu. By the way, the dessert options are very extensive. Parking is a lot more difficult. You can park under the station, but it is full from time to time.

last Saturday, a group of 12 people, had dinner here. we had something to celebrate and it turned out very well! we had a very nice evening, good food and drinks. we look back on it with pleasure and when we are in the area we will eat there again!!

Atmospheric restaurant where we were pleasantly welcomed. Very friendly and correct service. We were there with 4 adults and 2 children. The various dishes looked neat and tasted great. The amount of meat on the dishes was not generous, but it was sufficient. Neat toilets. We were able to park our 2 cars nearby. I can recommend a visit and in our opinion it is worth repeating.

De afgelopen ruim dertig jaar komen we hier zo nu en dan. Nog steeds goede service, nu door de volgende generatie. Goede prijzen, porties inderdaad niet belachelijk groot maar dus normaal/goed. Heerlijk eten, goede wijn. Blijft heerlijk om hier weer te komen.

A very cute place just next to the Voorburg station. The food tastes really good and is fresh. To add, they have a long menu so many options to pick from. We tried lamb, chicken and 2 vegetarian dishes. Every dish had a unique taste. Shoutout to the amazing staff and great service!!

Het eten was ontzettend lekker! De service was ook super goed en de medewerkers waren zeer vriendelijk. Super ervaring met erg lekker eten!

Was gezellig, en je krijgt zat. Herhaling vatbaar.

Goed eten. Maar geen 5 sterren. De porties zijn gewoon klein. Wat opzich niet erg is, ik denk zelfs heel milieu vriendelijk. Maar zeg er gewoon bij dat je extra kan bestellen als je nog meer wilt. (Gyros of patat ed) dan maak je een positieve/mileu bewuste indruk ipv een gierige indruk. Ik kreeg gratis extra gyros erbij en heb prima gegeten.

Teleurstellend helaas Kleine porties. Dit hoeft geen probleem te zijn wanneer de kwaliteit van de porties goed is. Maar helaas waren onze voorgerechten ‘Garides Proto’ (4 garnaaltjes) van 11 euro en ‘Kalamarakia Proto’ (inktvisringen) van 9 euro vrij kleine porties en helaas geen goede kwaliteit. Van de 4 gefrituurde garnaaltjes was zelfs 1 garnaal omhulsel leeg. De kleine portie inktvisringen waren rubberig en alles behalve vers. Bii het stokbrood was geen boter of sausje. Mijn vader vroeg daarom om een beetje boter waarvoor later 4 euro op de rekening stond. De hoofdgerechten waren wel in orde. De ‘Glossa’ vis was zalig en de vleesschotel ‘Adonis’ was ok. Jammer dat de aubergine bij de Adonis schotel een soort sandwichspread prutje was ipv echte aubergines van de grill. Wij zijn Liefhebbers van de Grieks keuken maar Kreta in Voorburg vonden wij erg tegenvallen.

Good food, friendly staff, good prices. Kreta has a wide selection, including vegetarian and fish and of course (it is a Greek restaurant after all) many fine meat dishes of which the lamb is especially good. Interesting wine list, mostly Greek wines. They also have a good selection of desserts, though we didn't get any because we were totally stuffed from the quite generous dinner portions.

We komen hier al jaren! Fijn restaurant! Helaas zijn de porties aan de ‘magere’ kant. Dat maakt het uiteraard wel makkelijk mogelijk een voor-, hoofd- en nagerecht te nemen.

Lekker eten vlotte bediening en nog betaalbaar

Gezellig restaurant en het eten was lekker. Goede porties ook. Personeel was vriendelijk. De bediening kon alleen wel beter. We zaten al eventjes en moesten zelf om de kaart vragen. Ander tafeltje kreeg deze wel gelijk en die konden ook gelijk drinken bestellen. Dat duurde bij ons ook wel eventjes. Vooraf hadden we tzatziki besteld maar hier kregen we niet gelijk brood bij. Dit duurde ook weer lang. Toen we hierom vroegen of dat er wel bij zat was het antwoord ja tuurlijk. Maar breng dat dat ook sneller. Maar ook goede service, 1 van onze tafelgenoten had een vis besteld en dacht dat het een filet was maar was een hele vis. Ze boden aan om het alsnog te fileren.

Soms kom je onverwachts ineens ergens terecht. Dat was vanavond het geval. Alleen thuis, en trek in Grieks eten. Een dikke vette 10 voor eten, gastvrijheid en sfeer. Nu ff een Irish Coffee, omdat ik het verdiend heb vandaag. Was de eerste keer, maar zeker niet de laatste keer.

Heerlijk Grieks... Zoals het hoort. De wijn was ook heerlijk!

Heerlijk gegeten op een warme, drukke vrijdagavond op het terras onder de parasol 👍Heerlijk zitten zo op het terras! Ook heel vriendelijk personeel! Zeker aanrader 👍

De Griekse gastvrijheid is hier dubbel aanwezig, een uitgebreide kaart, en heel lekker eten.

Kom hier al sinds ik klein ben. Nooit klachten gehad en het personeel is ook heel erg vriendelijk.

Ik heb hier eten voor afhalen besteld. Stond netjes op de afgesproken tijd klaar en was goed eten. Wij hebben er van genoten
