Griekse Corner in Wijk 40 Emmen-Centrum

It doesn't really feel Greek. But the food is very good. The staff is also very friendly. I have been coming here for a number of years now and am very satisfied so far.

Delicious takeout food. Good value for money. 👍

You don't need to go here for an elaborate dinner, as it isn't a fancy restaurant. But.....................this was unexpectedly good. For takeout and delivery, you get really tasty and good food. If you do want to eat on location, that is possible too. As I said, no luxurious decor. But that is quickly forgotten and not bothersome, with the good food, generous portions, and everything prepared with passion. Friendly staff; they work neatly and cleanly from what I could see. Great value for money!

First of all, my compliments on the chicken and the rice. However, the veal macun with mince is without mince, and the veal macun looks and tastes like a pancake. The fries are unfortunately cold. The mince on the menu wasn't really tasty either, but that is a matter of taste. I don't think we will be ordering here again.

We still had a dinner gift voucher to spend, and we thought it would be fun to do so at the Greek Corner in Emmen. We wanted to eat our food there. The seating is fine, but it's clear they're more focused on takeout and delivery. I think there's a maximum of 12 people inside. They were very busy, with takeout and delivery orders pouring in. But despite the crowds, there was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and they really cared about us. After ordering a mixed grill for two, we received our food within 10 to 15 minutes... wow, that was a lot, and it looked so good, fresh, and delicious! They really put a lot of effort into serving the customers something tasty. We both had a large plate filled with fresh salad, rice, fries, and tzatziki sauce. We also had a large platter full of meat for the two of us; Bifteki, lamb chops, souflaki, chicken breast, and gyros. Everything was incredibly delicious; we ate our fill but unfortunately couldn't finish it all. Perfectly done, Greek Corner, kudos!

Every single time, it's top-notch.

Got pita gyros and fries here. The gyros were delicious and the fries were nicely seasoned. I'm wondering what spices you use for the fries and if they're available separately somewhere?

I ordered a falafel wrap with fries, chili sauce, and a white chocolate shortcake from Kip Cornor Emmen. The wrap and fries arrived on time, but the shortcake was missing. I called immediately and promised they would deliver it. After waiting for over an hour, I called again: conflicting information, a lot of flak, and still no solution. It turned out the shortcake was still in the store. I called again an hour later. Three times, the kids were already in bed without their treats, still nothing received, and no call back from the manager. No solution, no compensation, absolutely nothing. Truly the worst experience ever at Kip Cornor Emmen. Never again for me!

Good portions, fair prices. Delicious food!

Very tasty food and always delivered quickly

Great food, ordered a lot, class

Ordered food via Thuisbezorgd.nl on Sunday January 17 to pick up... you ask for cutlery, they don't have it... too bad... I mentioned this in the review of Thuisbezorgd.nl, you get a very angry phone call from the owner that I had not ordered cutlery so that is why I did not receive it... told that I order food everywhere in the Netherlands every Sunday and there is always cutlery available to give. He indicates that this is not the case.. when I heard that, the connection was disconnected because there is no need to be labeled a liar.. he calls back and fills up the entire voicemail with curses.. I am not happy with this, so I filed a complaint with Thuisbezorgd.nl and they indicated that the owner does not want to talk about it with them, so unfortunately. Received an apology through an employee of Thuisbezorgd.nl that the owner should have given but unfortunately did not receive. We won't be there anymore.

Ordered at 6:30 PM. After calling twice to say it was coming, I ended up receiving the wrong order 2 hours later. Called back and I would get a new order. This also arrived 45 minutes later but missed the cold orders. Since it was an order for close to 70 euros and the other dinner guests had already gone home, I was quite disappointed. Called again and it would be taken care of and I would be called back the next day to discuss compensation. Final score. Ordered at 6:30 PM. At 9:30 PM we could eat our own order. 3 days later and still no call back. Very disappointing.

Ordered 1 Bifteki and 1 Souvlaki menu. Was supposed to be delivered around 4:30 PM but was delivered 20 minutes later. Not a problem in itself, but it might be useful to indicate this. It was a bit less warm than I expected. I missed the fetta with the salad and it could have used a few more olives. Besides that it was tasty.

Been coming here for a while now, I recommend it 100%, good service, well priced, short pick up time. This is perfect for a quick (healthy) bite.

Always delicious food at a reasonable price. The gyros hair salon is especially recommended!

friendly staff, good food, missed the feta, olives and tzatziki on the Greek style pita, maybe there was some tzaziki on it but not enough for me. The place could use some love, but there were a lot of flies in there... the gyros are very tasty.

Ordered dinner with the department in the hospital. All five pita gyros Greek style. One commented: “I think a thick layer of tzatziki is great!”. We also receive a free bowl of tzatziki with a note: “We also think a thick layer of tzatziki is great! 😂. And the pitas were enjoyed by everyone. Taste and quality like a real Greek pita gyros! Should know, I've eaten there a lot already.

very tasty! super good portions too

Fast delivery, (Buitendorp) Meal well packaged and hot. Only the sauce was forgotten for the pita gyros sandwiches 🙈 Otherwise great!

A bit of a shame, I ordered at 6:09 PM and it could only be delivered at 7:30 PM. Unfortunately they forgot the large garlic sauce that you paid 5 euros for and forgot a portion of fries. It would take some time, but in the end only the garlic sauce was brought. It was tasty, but this is just a shame

Bad service! Ordered before 5:30 PM and it is now 6:37 PM and still no food. When you call you can't reach anyone. You're really missing the point here. Service hard to find!!!

Very nice atmosphere and I will eat there more often, the pita cheese is nice and creamy

The ratio of fries and gyros was very high. Lots of fries and little meat and plain salad without dressing

Picked up the hair salon in Klazienaveen this evening. Lady in Issue was friendly. Had to pay €28, not really cheap, so you expect something. Well it was really disappointing! Fries were rock hard, they forgot tatziki and Gyros were bone dry. No, we won't be coming here again anytime soon. Too bad it wasn't busy at all.

Ordered food via home delivery at 6:31 pm. It stated: delivery between 25 - 50 minutes. To our surprise, we received the message that it would be delivered around 7:50 PM. This is over 80 minutes! Unfortunately, no food yet at 7:50 PM. After calling we were told that they were understaffed, that there were 70 receipts and there were no delivery people. It was made very clear that they were only human. Very annoying, but this is not mentioned anywhere and perhaps an idea to switch off home delivery for new orders? It was finally delivered at 8:35 PM. More than 2 hours after we ordered and 47 minutes later than they indicated. If we had known this, we would not have placed an order at all. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that we have had to wait so long for our order from the Greek Corner. Not for us again.

Ordered today for the first time in Klazienaveen. They don't have their own page, so I'm posting it here. They were very busy there. Ordered food at 5 p.m. that would be delivered at 6 p.m. I immediately receive an email that the delivery time has become 6:30 PM. Unfortunately, we still had no food at 7:15 PM, so we drove to the shop. My order was made there immediately. Then I took it home with me. I found a good solution, unfortunately I had 2 small hair salons instead of 1 large and 1 small hair salon. Food is always top notch, but they can still improve in Klazienaveen

Bad service, called several times where the food took so long, had 4 different people on the phone and waited longer than 2 hours. What a mockery…. Arrogant and pricey

Always great food💪Waiting is always worth it

The nicest hair salon in Emmen and very friendly staff. We always eat there. Ordered for the first time today, something went wrong but it was resolved immediately and the staff was very friendly! Highly recommended! 😍

Really great food. We once again opted for the large Kapsalon Gyros, truly the best hair salon in Emmen without a doubt. The meat was delicious, not dry at all. The fries were crispy, which I think is good for a dish like a kapsalon. The tsatsiki was tasty, the cheese on top was also nice and warm, all in all it was just great!

I've been coming here since it opened, it's now under different ownership, but luckily everything is still the same. Delicious food and always friendly staff. Tried the 2 types of baklava last week, highly recommended.

Delicious food. Tasty, friendly staff. Highly recommended

Really great chicken. Not dry, nice and juicy. Fries were also super tasty and love the chili Mayo

We ordered a normal kapsalon for 2 people and for 1 we got it meatless, so only tatziki fries, lettuce and cheese. Had telephone contact and it would be arranged. 1 of us could eat and the other had to wait. When the new hair salon arrived, it was also without meat. I really couldn't believe how you could do something like that. I called to ask if I could get my money back because I didn't get what I ordered but the owner refused. On the phone I was treated very rudely by a lady as if it was my fault that they delivered the wrong order twice. I cut the conversation short because it wasn't worth having such an antisocial conversation in front of a hair salon. I didn't receive any apologies, but I did receive a lot of irritation. The kapsalon with meat was not tasty. The meat was tough, tasteless and very salty. The cheese was one hard whole. I indicated that they should do the salad separately but that was not done. Obviously I would never order from here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Best hair salon I've ever had. With tzatziki. Delicious!

Fast delivery and a friendly delivery person. Delicious food! The spareribs with fries and tzatziki sauce and salad were very tasty!

Food was almost cold. Spare ribs dry and not tasty. There was a layer of fat on the pita chicken that you could swim in. Potatoes tasted like they had been baked before and long layers were also cold. Not recommended and no more

Delicious food!! Highly recommended

Good food, large portions for a great price!

Recent eten hier opgehaald.

Great place to eat super tasty greek food!

Patat was heerlijk! Lekker gekruid. Bezorgtijd volgens verwachting. Vriendelijke medewerkers!

Heerlijk eten, vriendelijke mensen.

Geweldige mensen en geweldig eten!

Great food and very friendly staff! The portions are quite big even the "mini" versions. The place could look a bit friendlier, but it's nice and clean.

Heerlijk eten opgehaald. Meer dan genoeg. Wij komen zeker terug.

Goede grieksrestaurant in het centrum van Emmen

Lekker vlees, goede en snelle bediening!

Heerlijk eten (veel) en heel vriendelijk personeel. Echt een dikke aanrader!!

Slecht, na 2uur nog niets geleverd. Ook niet bereikbaar per telefoon. Er maar naar toe gereden. Eten werd toen pas gemaakt. En wel bezorgkosten in rekening brengen. Griekse corner op de zwarte lijst..

Super smacznie, kapsalon the best

Heerlijk gegeten. Flinke portie
