Kiddeling is our battered fish with cod. Fried in peanut oil. Delicious. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We also tried some raw herring fillets with pickle and onion. Delicious. A highly recommended street food stall.

The Best! Absolutely fantastic fish to either takeaway or they will cook for you to eat in the square or on the beach. A large portion of fried white fish (cod?) was plenty for two adults. Lovely people, and speak excellent English.

I bought herring sandwiches and kibbeling on May 20th and 21st, 2025. I've never tasted better quality and freshness! Incredibly delicious! The sauce that came with the kibbeling was also excellent. The owner and his staff are incredibly warm and friendly, and provide excellent service. I'm looking forward to returning to Zandvoort in August to eat the best fish.

During a weekend in Zandvoort I ate a delicious portion of kibbeling on Friday and Saturday. Extremely friendly service. Delicious bickering. They even knew that Kessel was near Sittard in Limburg 😂😂😂 I will definitely go back next year

Best kibbeling eaten in all of Zandvoort. During our vacation. Right in the center. Tasted better than the ones on the beach. The tartar sauce was also excellent. Price for a small portion of €6.50 was great and I was full afterwards.

The best 'haring' 'maatjes' or 'hollandse nieuwe'. Period. Very good all-cod kibbeling. This is a no-nonsense super quality fish stand. Do not expect them to be open on Sunday, make sure you get your fish from them, also for home cooking. They will bring you custom fish orders from the harbour if you ask the a day or so ahead.

Based on the excellent reviews, I came here to try Kibbeling, and I was not disappointed. I would absolutely recommend this place. The batter was light and crunchy around a perfectly cooked chunky white fish. The owner was friendly and recommended that I try the sauce, which I am grateful for.

We were traveling in the Netherlands for 2 weeks. Visited a few fish stands. We were rather disappointed with about 90%. Why? Because almost everyone only served the same ugly, industrially prepared sauces with their fish dishes. At Guijt we had the feeling for the first time that we had received a slightly higher quality sauce. Kibbelinge were freshly dusted with flour and prepared. In general, the stand seemed cleaner than other places and the smell was limited... The staff was very friendly, would happily come back 👍

Had an excellent mackerel sandwich. A lot of attention is paid to putting together the sandwich. The service is extremely friendly and they are always warned about seagulls who also want to score a sandwich. Guijt is worth the detour.

Excellent kibbeling. I haven't had a better meal in all my trips to the Netherlands! The stand is in the middle of the town center between a bakery, supermarket and registry office. There are plenty of seating options around.

10/10 wish I could come back again and again. Loved the herring and the kipling truly amazing. Best piece of fried fish I’ve ever had. And the herring is so comforting and delicate. A must come.

The food was great, value for money, but we were a bit shocked at how we were treated. We were spoken to directly in German and when we asked why, we were told because we looked like Germans. And people talked to other customers about us in Dutch. Accordingly, we cannot really understand the other reviews. In short, good food with a bitter aftertaste.

Staff and management were on point and to the point. Fish is what they do and they kip it with style. Cooked with simplicity and good presentation, t’was tender flakey and a perfect snack. Next time we will definitely bring some Canadian seafood gifts🦞Take care

Get away from the beach and get your fresh kibbeling, herring and other Dutch fish specialties here!! Quality is miles ahead of all the fish stalls along the beach combined. The service is also very friendly. No "tourist trap" tricks where you pay €10 for bickering on a plate with disgusting lettuce without asking, but just normal prices.
