Amazing place, my go to place for a coffee and a chat with the owner :) Would recommend anyone to go here, she serves some amazing food!

Very cozy and super cute shop where you can buy special and unique items, and at the same time have lunch with different choices of bento or enjoy a cup of coffee. There is also an exhibition space for temporary exhibitions. The owner is helpful and very nice If I ever return to Maastricht I will definitely stop by again

Very nice place in Maastricht to buy artistic gadgets or have a nice workshop or even enjoying a coffee in their coffee shop! They provide various workshops like painting, aquarelle, handspinning…

I can recommend the food, it was delicious. Point of improvement would be the size of the dishes, as they could be bigger. But then the prices would need to be raised as well. So yes, I would go to HAE again :)

If you come on 17-08 to pick up your Too Good to Go, they are closed. There is a note saying they are closed until 13-08. Nothing is indicated on Too Good to Go or Maps, and the phone number on Maps is unreachable. Fortunately, I can get the money for my order back from Too Good to Go, but that does not cover the petrol, parking costs or the inconvenience.

The food is amazing, the prices are great, the place is lovely. If you are in doubt, go there, do it now! Thank me later :)

Small but cool. Attended a watercolour workshop here. Good to say that everyone who joined the same group were friendly and nice to hang with. Good vibe. The lady owner of the shop also serve beverages and Taiwanese bento if you are hungry. Will definitely join again.

This place is incredible, I live very close and I just discovered it. The beef bibimbap is one of the best I have eaten: very fresh and tasty ingredients and for a great price too! The owner is also very kind and nice to have a conversation with. Very recommended!!

Nice exhibition and cozy atmosphere

Bimbimbab was tasty, too bad there was no kimbab!!! because they are great!!! The staff service was very friendly and sympathetic.

You can absolutely disregard the review that says their bibimbap isn't authentic because they use minced beef... Please know that we use minced beef in bibimbap very commonly and widely. It was very authentic and good Bibimbap for me and Im a Korean :) I even thought she probably makes better bibimbap than myself. Very cute little place for a small lunch break during strolling through the city. Lovely selection of little things that they sell and also nice exhibition in the back. Worth of checking out!

I always buy the kimbap here whenever it's made and it's literally food for my soul, i try to buy one every time I'm in town, very very tasty

Maybe my expectation was too high. I can't believe they use ground beef instead of sliced beef in bibimbap. Not authentic. And they raised price. Not worth it.

After living in Taiwan for 7 years, I can say this place is legit! I’ve had their takeout multiple times, and everything has been nothing but delicious. They also don’t over charge for their food like a lot of other places. For €8 you get a homemade lunchbox (Homemade! Not frozen food! She makes it fresh everyday.) The job is also adorable — all of their products are carefully selected for quality. The goods in the shop aren’t Chinese knock offs from TaoBao or AliBaba (I would know! I used to work with companies who sold from there). Most actually say “Made in Japan.” There is also a great selected of local designers and artists who sell their work there as well. In short, if you’re looking for a more authentic and local vibe, this is the spot. Lots of locals (students, professors, Maastricht residents) all come and stop by so you get to meet some great people. There’s an awesome area in the back that’s quiet where you can eat and work on your laptop even. Highly recommend!

Excellent Korean food to go, at very affordable prices with very friendly staff. (Insider tip: get the Bibimbap, then go to the top of the Hudson Bay for an almost private terras view of the centre of Maastricht to enjoy your meal. Buy a coffee from the La Place there for admittance).

In 3 years at Maastricht, Hae has been my ultimate spot to get together with other artists and creative people of all ages and different backgrounds. Audrey, the store's owner, is a friendly and welcoming host who serves her delicious home-cooked Asian dishes, among other treats. Every month, a different artist displays their work in the gallery at the back of the store, and a lot of what Audrey sells come from previous exhibitions. Although the store has a distinct East Asian flair, you can also find work there from local Dutch artists and designers in addition to pieces from around the world - Colombia or Africa or France, for example. Musicians and poets can also perform here in a cozy, intimate setting. I've also participated in the crafty workshops to practice woodworking and embroidery. Hae is definitely a unique place in the quaint city of Maastricht that is home to many creative people. Audrey can be very proud of the active community that she created, and I hope that it flourishes for years to come so that others can enjoy the vibes as much as I did.

Hae is a wonderful place with a meticulous selection of designer products- such as art books, jewelry, ceramics- which are curated by Audrey and created by Asian artists. Besides that, the exhibition space in the back of the shop gives talented creators a great opportunity to showcase their works. Oh, and Audrey's Korean food is without any discussion the best in town..

Very nice, down-to-earth service and the food is more authentic than any Asian restaurant you'll find in Maastricht! The occasional art exhibitions in the back are a nice touch too. Great place to come to alone, you can chat with the owner, or with friends and look through all the pretty knick-knacks for sale.

Tl; dr: es sólo para llevar, pero también hacer café, conseguir 5 estrellas si sólo había una mesa , pero sí es mi costumbre tomar un café y navegar por todos los artículos de diseño hermoso que están a la venta. Sin duda merece la pena una visita! La comida es bastante sencillo pero sabroso y bien un cambio para el almuerzo de recepción simple. Staples coreana están presentes.
