Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with an aggressive delivery driver who made me feel intimidated. Because I live alone, I no longer feel comfortable ordering from them. That's a real shame, because the food is delicious.

Yesterday I got a chicken roti and two chicken curry rolls for the first time. The chicken was delicious, but the green beans were a bit lacking. Ordered by phone and it was ready 10 minutes later. The service was excellent and friendly. The interior lacks a lot of atmosphere, so I wouldn't go there anytime soon. But for delivery or takeout, it's perfectly fine!

I've ordered from here several times, but the food always arrives cold and late. It tastes old and reheated.

I ordered dinner for my partner and me after a very long day at work for both of us and was unfortunately very disappointed. The food wasn't good today and even seemed a bit watered down. The curry was very pale in color and lacked flavor. I had the curry doks and curry lamb, but the curry doks consisted mainly of bone and hardly any meat, most of which was bone. The meat that was there was far too soft and had no good texture. All in all, the food was very disappointing, and I expected much more. The food was neatly packaged, but the quality was very disappointing. Such a shame.

Unfortunately, we had to wait two hours for our food because it was so busy, but it was definitely worth it! Delicious nasi goreng, not dry and flavorful. The roti was also incredibly good and came with a delicious gravy to go with the chicken. The rolls were also excellent and tasty! Definitely worth coming back.

We ordered from here for the first time today and we were very happy with our choice. It was delivered quickly and the portions were nice. The food was very tasty and we will definitely order from here again.

Don't waste your time and money on these dry things. Delivery takes over an hour and a half. When you call to ask how long it will take, you get no response, and the food arrives completely cold. The food tasted like it had been reheated from the day before yesterday, and the sandwiches are dry and definitely not worth the money.

Waiting an hour and a half for a simple sandwich?! Ridiculous. This is completely unacceptable, even when it's busy. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

I happened to pop in today to quickly grab a sandwich while waiting for my wife and child. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and the place looked neat and tidy. My grandmother recently told me: if you go into a Warung (Javanese eatery), the saoto has to be good, otherwise, everything else is rubbish. My spin on it: if you go into a Hindustani restaurant, the lamb sandwich has to be good, otherwise, I'll leave the rest alone. While waiting for the sandwich, I couldn't resist browsing the rest of the menu out of curiosity. My eye was drawn to the Happy Sranang Loaded Fries. I asked the woman at the counter what was in it: fries, chicken curry, long beans, and peanut sambal. As befits the native Surinamese in me: chicken curry with peanut sambal??? Impossible. After a bit of laughing and "discussion" with my lamb sandwich and ginger ale, I walked outside and sat in the car, enjoying the food. The lamb sandwich: at first I thought, "hmmm, a bit thinly topped," but once I took my second bite... Lamb the way lamb in masala should taste. Exactly as I'd hoped/expected, etc., etc. And because the flavor was strong, it was topped just right. When my wife said it would all take a bit longer, I immediately decided to go back and get the loaded fries! Just as surprised as I was that they were selling that combination, I was even more surprised that I actually liked it myself! All in all, a place I'd drive a bit further for if I were in the area.

Got three chicken curry sandwiches, way too much curry, really not tasty, never again

The taste was good, but I don't think the ratio of meat is right. €17 for 150 grams of meat is too little, and the 500cc container was only 30 percent full.

Next time I will drive past this restaurant. The food was cold and simply not tasty. The young man could do something about his speech. Enunciate more clearly, for example. Shame!

If you want really tasty Surinamese food people, please go to Warung toetie. This was cold and not tasty. Also had to wait a very long time for it to arrive. Here I read how the owner responds to reviews. On the good ones which are very few, very nice. And on the negative, very low. He is really bringing himself and his restaurant down with this. It shows little self-control. This entrepreneur portrays himself as a little boy and still has a lot to learn in entrepreneurship and I wish him more success with himself than with the company. Because ultimately it starts with how you present yourself and how you approach your customers. The customer is king.

Ordered food online, delivered incomplete, employee responded irritated but promised to have the missing item delivered. That has not been done. So I'm very dissatisfied.

Best Surinamese food in Capelle and surroundings. Own delivery person: always super fast and friendly. And comments when ordering are certainly read. In short, great business. That's why I order very often. Better to order directly via their site than via Thuisbezorgd.

Had roti. The pancakes were hard and tasteless. Roti chicken fillet had a strange smell to it or it was spoiled...all in all a bad store in terms of figures they would just get a 3 and that is only for the sambal. The egg you get with it should be deep fried, but hey, why original recipes when you can also get it from a carton? Would never buy anything there again.

I've been waiting for the food for 100 minutes at the moment, I wonder how long it will take. Called 12 times, the hook is just next to it. Lousy service!

A Surinamese eatery that does not sell Tjauw-Min. Is not a Surinamese eatery. Tjauw min is simply on the cultural menu of Suriname. Cha Sieuw, prepared from chicken, may have any name, but don't call it cha sieuw, because that is pork and not chicken. Whats next....selling a donut as a bara.

Sauté soup was delicious and the portion is good, but the telo was a bit disappointing and was really little. Furthermore, there was a fan on a table blowing into our food, which we thought was not so fresh.

We had a takeaway recently with Roti kipfilet and cha sieuw kip. It's the worst Surinamese food I have tried here! Cha Sieuw was probably a day old chicken pieces which were simply reheated and packed. While the Roti kipfilet had chicken dipped in just a water and spice mixture. Better check all the previous reviews for this place and avoid it!

Good Roti, just a shame that delivery took so long (1.5 hours). But worth the wait.

Niet te geloven hoe slecht dit is. Dit restaurant moet gesloten worden, het eten wat half warm aan de ene kant en de andere kant was koud. Daarnaast zat er een haartje in het eten. En het was 100% niet van mij. We hebben het eten gelaten na een paar hapjes en we zijn vertrokken naar de mcdonalds. We zullen hier en me familie en vrienden nooit meer terugkomen.

Eten is zeer slecht wordt gewoon opgewarmd kwam thuis rijst wast gewoon een bonk door het opwarmen niet vers en is gewoon een kinder portie voor liefst 15 euro nooit meer is een schande voor de surinaamse gemeenschap rommel

Worst Surinamese food I have eaten so far in the whole of the Netherlands. Everything is just bad. The doksa was too salty. The roti itself was very thin and barely filled and the vegetarian accompaniment, potatoes, was dry and compact, there was hardly any long beans in it, and just a boiled egg thrown on top, not absorbed into the curry. The tempeh was not seasoned. Even the acid, the cucumber was very sweet. Never experienced this before. Very bad. I wonder who is in the kitchen there, very amateurish!

What a rotten company! Delivered too late and then also receiving someone else's order! After two weeks of calling and emailing, still no response! Shame on you!!!

Staff is very unfriendly, both in the store and when ordering online you have to wait a very long time until the food is ready. Often make mistakes, perhaps invest in better staff instead of having boys work undeclared in your restaurant. Eten is ontzettend lekker! We hebben terplekke besteld en het is ook snel gemaakt. Sfeer en service blijft achter maar dat deed er voor ons niet toe.

Simpel afhaalrestaurant. Opzich Ok om snel wat te halen, maar keuze is weinig en Surinaamse smaak is best slap kwa smaak. En gezien de reviews zoals gegeven, dan denk ik aangepast voor de Nederlandse tong.........Jammer.

Prima plek om wat Surinaams eten te halen. Ter plekke eten kan, is wel vrij klein en je zit in de loop van de mensen die komen afhalen. Eten is goed, redelijke prijs/kwaliteit. Service is oke, soms beetje stug.

Love the food here. The Roti and Lamb I ordered was absolutely amazing. Had just enough spice to make it so tasty! For Roti I go to Happy Sranang!

Roti kipkerriefilet was super lekker! en we hadden een roti lamsvlees die was vrij pittig maar zoals het hoort en werd netjes gebeld dat de bestelling 20 minuten langer zou duren vanwege de zondagdrukte👍🏼

Weinig eten voor best veel geld

Eten was lekker. Besteld via thuisbezorgd. Heeft uiteindelijk 1 uur en 55 minuten geduurd voordat het bezorgd werd met de auto (6 min rijden). Waarschijnlijk ook flinke onderbezetting 😕😅

Het broodje kip kerrie is ver onder de maat. De kip smaakt gewoon niet goed en heb gewoon last van mijn buik. Vind het vervelend om deze review te moeten achterlaten.

Na een wandeltocht met een vriend, lekkere broodjes gehaald bij deze zaak. Het is mij altijd goed bevallen sinds dat deze restaurant aan de Rivierweg zit. Lekker pittig eten en hier kom ik zekers wat vaker eten halen!

Rotti met kip besteld,was niet erg warm en de Kip en boontjes gingen wel maar de rotti smaakte niet erg vers. Vriendelijk personeel en netjes

Vandaag hebben we voor het eerst moksi meti en bara kip kerrie besteld en gegeten, en het was heerlijk! Zeker voor herhalings vaatbaar! Jammer dat we in Brabant wonen, maar als we weer in Capelle zijn, komen we zeker terug! jullie scoren bij ons een 8,5.

Ik haal altijd roti hier en het is de beste roti dat ik eet, de kip kerrie kipfilet is lekker de bara’s zijn smaakvol, echt alles is top hier!!

Surinaamse broodjes en roti afgehaald en het was erg lekker! Vers, ruime porties en vriendelijk geprijsd. We komen zeker terug, vanuit Bergambacht, dat stukje rijden hebben we er wel voor over!

Heb de eerste keer roti met kip, groenten en bakje pom besteld. Roti was taai. Pom niet te eten. Pom is een gerecht dat moet lekker zijn. De rest smaakte wel goed. De 2e keer roti lams besteld. Heel lekker. Roti was goed. Houden zo. Wel iemand inhuren om pom te leren maken. Voor de 2e 5 sterren.

Redelijk goed eten maar moksi niet origineel en erg weinig eten voor die prijs. Verder goede smaken.

Roti kipfilet gehaald. Portie niet al te groot voor de prijs. Verder is de smaak niet bijzonder, voor Surinaamse begrippen is het eigenlijk gewoon een hele flauwe hap. Kan me niet voorstellen dat deze zaak op zo'n locatie een blijvertje gaat worden. Erg jammer.

Snel geholpen en was weer heerlijk.
