Hasret Donner in Indischewijk

For years, this has been my number one spot for high-quality Turkish food. I've been coming here with great pleasure for over 15 years.

At the beginning of the Cronje shopping centre, in HaarlemNoord, you will find the Hasret Döner cart. Delicious food, not expensive, generous portions. I admire this sweet woman. She always has a chat with you. Works very hard all day. Sometimes someone helps her, but it is quite cramped in the cart. Makes a lot herself, I think her onion sauce is delicious. I highly recommend the kapsalon, small or large. You can choose your meat: chicken/veal/mix. Never been? Then go and get some if you are in the area. There is a table with benches in front of the cart if you want to eat your food there.

This is beyond words – you have to experience it yourself!!! I have eaten kebab in hundreds of places all over the world, but this super friendly lady is number one on my list! 😍 The – probably homemade – sauces are pure taste harmony, as if you are experiencing a concert of flavors! Every bite was a party. Warm, fresh, prepared with love. Absolute recommendation – I will definitely come back!

Hey! This is THE BEST doner in the Netherlands. The lady is an expert in meat and a real boss. Go for the Durum option with cheese. And the meat is real meat...

This "food truck" is an asset to Haarlem, and a must for anyone who wants to eat a well-filled Turkish pizza, the tuhioka special is truly one of the tastiest things I have ever tasted in terms of food at "snack level".

Got a Turkish pizza special this week and it was delicious again. The pizza, the ingredients and the sauce are well balanced and it is not heavy on the stomach. The seller also likes to have a nice chat. All in all, recommended.

I ordered with meat, but got without. A bit of an anticlimax. Better luck next time.

This is the best Donner place I know in the Netherlands. I happened to live nearby for a while and had to stop myself from eating there more than once a week. The service is great too. I always call her my Turkish mother. Everything freshly prepared and you can just taste it. I think the onion sauce is the most special. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

As for kebab standards go, this place is better than most because it has a special handmade mint-tomato sauce which gives it a nice touch. Unfortunately the meat - though fresh - is still the standard kebab one. Best kebab in Haarlem so far.
