The food was very bad. The grill is bone dry. Salaza is tasteless and saltless. The rice is also dry. We waited in vain for 45 minutes. After the meal, we asked for tea and waited 15 minutes for it. Unfortunately, it was a waste of our money. I can't recommend it and I won't come again.

No longer friendly to customer, always different price

I am a regular customer of this restaurant almost three days ago when ordering food. I ask if you can please close the door very coldly and he says no, you can't. I'm sick for four days or I don't cook food properly. He eats all the time. I no longer go to this restaurant, I also have other people, you have six children, everything is sick, now why doesn't this door close, really bad service?

We going to the restaurant for a very long time never had no complaints about the place we went yesterday to hold a meal and it was cold in the building. The door was wide open. We asked the person behind the counter. Could we close the door? please told us no you cannot close the door. The food are getting cold. Not very nice time and realised customers come first. I advise people if I do not close the door, you should get up and walk out and don’t pay.

The grills were good, the portions large enough. On the other hand, the prices were not updated so the bill was a little higher than expected.

Kapsalon was nice, but way too expensive (€15). For that price you can really expect something from a hair salon, but that is not the case. Nice to try, it's different, but not tastier than anywhere else.

Well, been a regular customer for years. Edit: They have deteriorated badly, I haven't ordered from here for a long time. Too expensive and quality is poor, also the lady on the phone, if you don't like your job, find something else. You do it reluctantly.

Ordered food for 5 people worth approximately 100 euros. Meat was quite burnt and onion sauce smelled sour. Later everyone got a stomach ache. Never again for us Mahzen, deeply disappointed and especially for that amount.

Want to eat real Turkish meals? Then you don't have to look any further! Because Mahzen is one of the best places to enjoy delicious Turkish food. Even though it is a small neighborhood restaurant, it surprises me every time I eat my food! A 9/10!

Food was very good and delivery fast. They had forgotten something and were at the door within 5 minutes of calling, and they also received a free drink.

Mahzen is no longer what it used to be. Prices keep rising while portions don't get any bigger. The quality/quantity ratio is hard to find these days.

Ordered Kapsalon tasted good, but they had one size, which is a shame. Unfortunately we had to wait about half an hour. Too bad the soup ran out.

Ate here a while ago after a long time, I have never seen a company go downhill as much as mahzen. Mrs. Yagmur the tokie should just look for another job because she doesn't know what hospitality is. I had ordered a hair salon whose prices are incorrect, they have had an old menu for months that is not up to date, which means a lot of people are being turned over. ripped off, and you can also read that from the reviews on Google. Apart from that, the hair salon was mediocre for the price you paid, fries were overcooked for too long, making them hard, and the meat you get for what you pay is scandalous They also had no garlic sauce at that time, so Mrs. Yagmur told me to wait a little. In the end it took 15 minutes for them to replenish the garlic sauce, which meant that my salon was already cold. When I had to pay, I was told an amount that was incorrect, but when I said something about it, the lady told me to eat somewhere else. I paid and indicated that I would never return. It is also a shame that they do not pay out tips from delivery drivers (delivery person indicated that he was not paid a tip). If you tip via home delivery, it goes directly into their account and they do not pay it out to the delivery people. I think they should send an inspection service here because I'm sure they will get a slap on the wrist, or maybe even a fine. So Mrs. Yagmur, find another job or become a housewife.

SCAMMERS BE WARNED! To start with, young man who served us was very polite, and that's it. Ordered food, unkempt and especially rude lady brought the food with an angry look. Portions are too small, but for the price on the menu you think that's okay, the tomatoes in the salad were spoiled. When paying, an amount was immediately charged, this amount was clearly too high, when I say something about it I am told that these are old prices and that there is no other way, YOU MUST PAY THE AMOUNT DESPITE THE PRICE NOT BEING BEATS! And judging by the reviews, their menu was not adjusted to the so-called new prices months ago. The moment you look into it further, the lady starts cursing, never experienced this before! No respect at all, serious scammers. Never again for us, you should have an inspection at some point! BE WARNED, AVOID THIS PLACE!!

Our food arrived late...prices are not correct...menu card chicken soup.. 4.5 ..lamb shawarma dish 15 euros 50 after settlement instead of 20 euros I had to pay more extra 4 euros 50 cents...you have to check the menu change the price... what is stated on the menu, the customer has to pay for it, that is really scandalous... I was with a friend who also ordered the same... normally the total was 40 but we paid 48 euros... someone has to come and inspect...Haarlem municipality...prices are not correct...we live in the Netherlands not in India what is on the menu I want to pay for that and no more...they have not apologized...I give 1 star... I would like to see what I paid, the first receipt said nothing, then I said I would like to know the price, what it costs, then she gave me the receipt 😁 very strange lady who works there...

The service was bad, really bad. A woman waiter is acting very rude. The food was okay.

I called to make a reservation and the grumpy woman who answered said "you can only eat a dish". So you are not allowed to order soup, sandwich, or anything else. What does that mean? I can choose what I want to eat, right? And then I ask where that is written, she says very rudely, "It's not like that anywhere" and then hangs up. Then she called me back to prevent me from writing a review. A lady works there who is extremely grumpy and arrogant; she reacts very bluntly, coldly and extremely rude. I've been there before, and every time she exhibits arrogant behavior. Seems like she has trouble coming to work.

Na jaren eens weer een bezoek gebracht aan Mahzen. Om te beginnen het is zwaar achteruit gegaan qua service en kwaliteit. De jongedame was heel klantonvriendelijk. Het is niks persoonlijks, maar je werkt in een eethuis met klanten die hongerig komen om wat te komen eten. Na het vermelden van mijn klacht werd er heel nonchalant gereageerd, door de keukenpersoneel aan te spreken. Vervolgens naar mij te kijken en te benoemen dat het is ‘doorgegeven’. Werkelijk waar dit heb ik nog nooit meegemaakt, ik zit nu met enorme maagklachten op een zondag avond. De patat was zo hard dat mijn kaakspieren hier enorm last van ervaarde. Het ergste van allemaal is dat de patat meerdere malen door de frituur is geweest, daarna nog in een kapsalon bakje gedaan om nog eens in de ‘oven’ te doen om zo de kaas te laten smelten. De patat was keihard en heel erg onder de frituurvet. Dit was de laatste keer Mahzen voor mij. 12,50 voor een kapsalon vragen met zulke kwaliteit, wat mag de eigenaar trots zijn!

Via thuisbezorgd besteld en vervolgens gebelt om zeker er van te weten dat ze het op de locatie bezorgen en dan horen we ineens dat daar niet word bezorgd terwijl we overduidelijk op het adres betaald is en dan zegt mevrouw bijdehand zonder reden waarom er niet word bezorgd op het adres. En hangt zomaar op. Nooit meer bezorgen bij mahzen

Ik kom hier al jaren bijna elke week soms zelfs meerdere keren in de week. De Kwaliteit, smaak en de prijs van de gerechten is super! En natuurlijk niet te vergeten de gastvrije personeel die je altijd een warm welkomst gevoel geven.

Heerlijke shoarma. De lekkerste van Haarlem.

Vorige week hier een broodje shoarma linzensoep en icli kofte afgehaald bij thuis komst stond ik voor een verassing. Linzensoep was voor de helft gevuld en de icle kofte zat vol met olie niet te vreten kon rechtstreek de prulllenbak in. De prijzen zijn ook gestegen bij mahzen vind het niet meer de moeite waard om hier ooit nog te komen .

By Far het beste Turkse restaurant Wat ik ken. Als klantvriendelijkheid een gezicht heeft in het woordenboek, dan staan de eigenaar en zijn personeel met een groepsfoto erbij. Keihard werken zonder een glimlach te verliezen. Doe jezelf een plezier en ontdek dat de Turkse keuken zoveel meer is dan een broodje döner en een kapsalon (al zijn die ook absoluut aan te bevelen) Geweldig eten en geweldige service.

Delicious Dutch-Turkish food. Prices are really good for the food you are receiving. I come here especially for their well-seasoned shawarma. I have periods I come here on a weekly basis, because it's my favourite place to dine-in. It's a cosy small restaurant. I rather come here than go to Amsterdam-West for fancy Turkish restaurants where the food is not as good and more expensive!
