Erva Haarlem in Meerwijk

Prices are high for the portion sizes; the menu prices differ from the online prices. People will check your website when they arrive. The prices are reasonable, but they'll pay a premium when they arrive. I don't think this is right at all. If you've raised your prices, you should fix your website as well. My wife ordered lamb shish kebab, but there was no bread, which we requested. I ordered a hamburger with fries, but there was no ketchup or mayonnaise, which we requested. Parking is also charged.

Ridiculously high prices for what you get. For that money you can hire friendlier staff, because what is there now is 3 times nothing. Last time here

It is a very nice place and the breakfast was really nice and the staff was friendly and the service was good. We recommend it to everyone.

Ordered Adana for dinner but never had such a pitiful portion of Adana than here!!! Small Adana with a few vegetables. Never again. Yuck and that for almost €20

It is our first choice when I have time. With its friendly staff and indescribable food, I think it is number 1. I recommend it to anyone who passes by.

Despite the crowds, we still waited 45 minutes for 2 simple dishes. Where, despite the request to prepare a dish without improvisation, it was improvised. The same dish eventually came back with the garnish as the main course. I think they were honest enough not to charge for that. In my opinion, a dish should look cheerful and good. This looked pathetic, so I won't come here again.

Why does a sisha have to be so expensive? Really ridiculous. 25 euros... I think the cost of a sisga is a maximum of 5 euros... we ordered 1 sisha instead of 2 sishas. It wasn't great sisha.. and certainly not worth 25 euros. After all, I ate sutlac. Sutlac was so thin that you had to look for grains of rice. So you were basically drinking milk with sugar.

At a glance it looks good. Until you order the food. Mix grill, you get a plate with a few pieces of meat and you pay 25 euros for that! Scandalous! McDonald's will make you feel even fuller. This is scandalous for a Turkish eatery. Not worth repeating.

I had a great time in this restaurant! The welcome was warm and the staff very attentive. The dishes were absolutely delicious, prepared with fresh, quality products. I particularly liked the meat mixture (karışık ızgara)

Been for the first time with family, the food was delicious, I enjoyed it, service could have been better after the food was ready, our table was not cleared, we still had coffee and it was served on a dirty table, very unfortunate

Food is okay, only the toilets have such a bad smell and are dirty 🤢. If you have had a nice meal, such a visit to the toilet will hinder your appetite and satisfaction

Five stars as far as I'm concerned. I really liked the food, good portion. Lamb is well prepared. The only downside I think is the smokers in front of the door. Even though we were sitting inside, the smell of cigarettes came in regularly. My advice: remove the tables outside directly next to the entrance. Oh and 4.50 euros for a bowl of basmati rice is too expensive.

We recently visited Erva and what a wonderful experience it was! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, ideal for a fun night out. The kurufasulye and pilaf were delicious and the shisha was of excellent quality. But what really made our experience unforgettable was the great service from our waiter Fevzi. He was extremely friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome. Fevzi's professionalism and warm personality made our visit extra special. Thanks to him we will definitely come back to Erva. If you are looking for a place with delicious food, good kurufasulye and pilaf, and excellent shisha, Erva is definitely recommended. And don't forget to ask for Fevzi, he makes the visit complete!

I'm very sorry... The site states that the live music starts at 8:00 PM. But every time it starts an hour or an hour and a half later!!!

Just ordered a chicken sandwich with honey and mustard. The sandwich was filled with mustard (so no mustard sauce or the like). Very intense and inedible. Didn't eat after two bites either. At the cash register I still had to pay for the sandwich, even though I indicated that it could not be served like this. She said the chef wasn't there... Too bad about this...

Had a delicious meal in this Turkish restaurant.

We came here today there was live music and we had made a reservation. Our table was not prepared and we had to wait, that was no problem at all. When a table became available we walked in to sit there, then one of the waitress said who called us and why we came in without showing us to a table. I thought it was very strange. Then he told me that I was drunk and that I should sit at the table in the corner. My friends and I were in shock and really didn't expect to be helped so much. How dare you tell a customer that he/she is drunk? I definitely don't recommend this! Only because of the dirty waitress who doesn't belong there! Even though it is very busy, customer friendliness is still number 1.

This is our second time ordering Beyti. Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with his couplet. The meat was not cooked very well either. When we told the waiter, it was surprising to receive an answer saying that this is what the masters do. There were burnt areas in the lamb tandoori. Irrelevant Adana wrap onions were placed next to it. It doesn't suit. Kunefe was excellent. Wafel was also of average taste. My daughter ate the manti and liked it.

Ordered the baklava and the Turkish pudding for desserts. Both were pretty amazing. The Turkish tea was great as well. But the Turkish milk coffee that we ordered was not what we expected it to be. The ambience of the place was commendable. Would go there for desserts!😊

Bij Erva hebben we een fantastische culinaire ervaring gehad. De authentieke Turkse keuken is absoluut voortreffelijk, met een verscheidenheid aan gerechten die zowel traditioneel als innovatief zijn. Elk gerecht dat we probeerden was heerlijk en perfect bereid. De sfeer in het restaurant is warm en uitnodigend, perfect voor zowel familiediners als romantische avondjes uit. Een unieke toevoeging aan Erva is de waterpijp bar (shisha lounge) achterin. Deze aparte ruimte biedt een ontspannende ambiance waar je kunt genieten van een verscheidenheid aan smaakvolle shisha’s. Het personeel is zeer deskundig en kan aanbevelingen doen op basis van je voorkeuren. Service was topnotch - attent, vriendelijk en efficiënt. We voelden ons echt welkom en gewaardeerd als gasten. Kortom, Erva is een juweeltje voor liefhebbers van de Turkse keuken en voor diegenen die op zoek zijn naar een ontspannende shisha ervaring. Een echte aanrader!

Het eten was heerlijk. Ons eerste bezoek en op aanraden van de bediening een mixed grill voor twee personen gegeten. Goede tip. Hoewel veel was het ruim voldoende en gingen we goed gevuld naar de bioscoop.

Mixgrill was erg lekker heerlijk mals vlees

Al vaker bij Erva gegeten maar voor het eerst in vesteging Haarlem. Ontbijt ( Serpme kahvaltı ) was lekker. 2 persoons bestel en met zn 3 gegeten, meer dan genoeg. De gerechten menemen ( ei met tomaat ) en kıymalı yumurta ( ei met gehakt ) waren helaas niet lekker en hebben het ook laten staan. De tomaten waren nog hard en het gehakt ( stond rund ) had een sterke nasmaak wat leek op schapenvet. De panpan gerechten wat de kids hebben genomen waren erg lekker. De vers bereide dranken ook. Bediening was super

Super relaxte sfeer en super vriendelijke bediening. Heerlijk eten.

De mix grill is beslist geen 25 euro waard. Wat kipkluifjes horen daar zeker niet bij. De pide was oké.

De kaart zegt voorgerecht, hoofdgerecht maar je krijgt alles tegelijkertijd dus koud eten😝

Restaurant Erva in Haarlem is gewoonweg fantastisch! Het eten is verrukkelijk en de service is uitstekend. De sfeer is warm en gastvrij, waardoor je je meteen thuis voelt. De gerechten zijn netjes gepresenteerd en de smaken zijn heerlijk in balans. Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen.

Zeer nette en schone zaak. Ruime keuze aan eten en warme & koude dranken. Snel geserveerd en goed geprijsd. Ook de bediening was erg vriendelijk Tot snel! 🫶🏾
