Good food, small portions, way too expensive. Filled with a huge number of colorful flowers. Uninviting.

We chose a menu for 2 via social deal and it was tasty but not special.

I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Havana early in the afternoon. It consisted of two tacos and a Coke. The first taco was chicken with corn and a bit of jalapeño. The sweetness of the corn and the heat of the pepper enhanced the flavor of the mildly spiced chicken. Delicious! The second taco was pulled pork with a delicious, mild barbecue sauce. Fantastic! Havana is also a charming, authentic restaurant with friendly and professional staff.

What a fantastic place this is! I went for the first time last weekend, it had a very relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly. Fast service. I definitely recommend it, and if I ever go back to The Hague, I'm sure I'll be back for a bite to eat and a drink. It's a really great place.

Lovely atmosphere, nice and warm inside (it was around freezing outside). Very friendly and attentive service. Delicious food. Nice glass of wine (Primitivo) and tasty beer (Duvel). Good value for money.

Food, staff and atmosphere were all great!

I visited with big group of colleagues on 15th November 2025 after completing a Niantic Spatial anomaly event competition in the city. We were served by a very helpful staff member and enjoyed IPA's and a special Chipotle burger with French Fries meal, which was excellent. Happy to visit again and would recommend.

Nice interior, mediocre service. Sat inside for 20 minutes without being helped. Even after asking for service, no one came. Others were helped afterward, so I left. Definitely not recommended on a Saturday.

We enjoyed a three-course dinner through Social Deal. The starters and desserts were delicious! The main course was also delicious, although the meat/fish portions were a bit small. The cocktails were tasty but pricey. The Social Deal was also a bit pricey. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I definitely recommend having a delicious meal and cocktails here!

The atmosphere is great, the service is great. The food is very poor, even though it looks delicious.

If possible, I would rate this establishment one star. My experience here was deeply disappointing and, as someone who values authentic Cuban cuisine, I found the food and atmosphere to be far from genuine. The menu lacks the authenticity that defines true Cuban dining, and what was served felt like a diluted interpretation rather than a celebration of our culture. Signature dishes such as Ropa Vieja and Congrí con Rabo Encendido—cornerstones of Cuban cuisine—were absent. Even the beverage selection fell short, as a proper Cuba Libre made with Havana Club rum was unavailable. These are essential elements that reflect the spirit and authenticity of Cuban dining, and their absence speaks volumes. As a Cuban, I found this experience not only disappointing but also disheartening. A restaurant that claims to represent Cuban culture should do so with respect, depth, and authenticity. Unfortunately, this establishment does not meet that standard.

After shopping, it is nice to relax in restaurant Havana, the price-quality ratio of the lunch special is excellent and the service is very friendly and hospitable.

We waited over one hour, and only got our food after asking again! The food was medicore. The worst - we saw a mice while paying inside… really surprising for a restaurant at that location.

Not an extensive menu, but there's plenty to choose from. It's odd that on weekends, depending on how busy it is, they offer a smaller menu, which isn't mentioned on the website. After asking, we were given the more extensive menu. For a tasty bite without too much fuss, the food here is excellent. The portions are more than ample. The chicken wings, for example, were very tender, but so many that we couldn't finish them. The shrimp and hamburger were good. The service was very friendly!

The waitress in charge of taking orders had a very bad attitude and didn't help us to know if the coffee had alcohol or not. I asked her to clean the table and she wiped it once and said that I clean it once at the end of the day!! Totally unacceptable... She doesn't treat customers well, she expresses the pressure of work on the customers

Cocktails are good. Sitting outside is a great place to people-watch. The service is great, though the staff is limited. The food is good, too. Mocktail tip: a soft rosé drink, much too sweet, but delicious.

Havana offers an interesting menu with Cuban, American, and Tex-Mex influences. While it’s not a robust menu, the items they do offer are good! The loaded hot dog was definitely loaded with all the toppings and incredibly messy to eat—though no regrets! The loaded fries were also a great choice for the table.

We had a delicious meal, but the terrace was very busy, so we had to wait a bit longer. The food was good, and the limoncello cocktail was delicious. The brownie and churros were the best. We'll definitely be back when we're on a city break. Thanks!

More than just a cozy restaurant, hip and trendy, orders were taken quickly, drinks arrived quickly, and the food didn't take long. We checked in a few times during the meal to ask if everything was to our liking. The portions were more than generous, and I'm a big eater. We'll definitely be back on our next city trip; it's worth a detour. Keep up the good work!

Delicious food, friendly service and fast (it had to be otherwise we wouldn't have made it to the movie!)

I don't understand all these positive reviews. They have by far the worst cocktails I've ever had in my life. They taste like melted gummy bears with extra sugar and an extremely high amount of vodka. After I complained that it wasn't drinkable, they said it was an original recipe (not in this world, dude) and that they had made it less sweet. I think they've never tried their own drinks or they just don't have healthy taste buds. But it's extremely funny to look at the faces of those who take the first sip of their cocktail. Then they drink it very quickly with a grimace and leave the bar. I would never go back and I don't understand how this place can be so busy in the evenings.

we came here on a Friday evening to have drinks (simple, no custom orders or anything) and quickly noticed that all tables around us were receiving their orders, even if they had ordered way after us; meanwhile we were still waiting. for about an hour we kept asking different waiters who kept assuring us the drinks would come.. unfortunately they never did and we ended up leaving after over an hour of waiting. I understand that things go wrong + lack of staff is an issue in horeca, but this shouldnt have happened :(

The worst place if you want to eat low quality food and passive aggressive waitress. Even the manager needs to intervene asking if she was doing ok 😂 too much drama around while you just want to seat and eat. Food comes first then the drink and only for one person so you better go alone there hahaha Felt sorry anyways for the staff as they are clearly tired and overwhelmed.

We only had a drink, but it was busy on the terrace so it took a long time before you were helped. Then we ordered the drinks at the bar and they were delivered outside on the terrace a little later. It seemed like they had too little staff or staff does not pay attention when customers want to order/pay something. We also paid inside.

Forgot my bag on the terrace at Havana. Luckily they took good care of it and I got it back. Thanks to Jewel for her good care and top service!!

We came with a group of 13 people and oredered a lot of Burgers. They weren‘t able to Server the Burgers because the group was to biggg. If You Are Hunger Go somewhere Else !!!!!

NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE AND SPREAD THE WORD!! 🤬 Article 1 of the Dutch Constitution is already too hard for them to follow. The security guy just ripped and destroyed the shirt of my friend when he did no more than asking why I was not allowed to enter. I did no more than showing my ID card where you can clearly see I'm older than 18, but that's apparently too hard for them to calculate. So yes, they ask for an ID card and then randomly refuse people to enter (based on absolutely NOTHING) and if you ask them why, they smile and say they don't have to give you a reason. This is the most ridiculous place in the Hague, avoid it at all costs!

Sit on the terrace or inside and enjoy the food. Good menu with tasty dishes

Nice snack in Havana for lunch. I really liked the sticky chicken wings! Also wonderful ambiance and music.

Always found it very pleasant to sit on the terrace. But a rude waiter is not representative of the business. Canceled a reservation with 8 people. For the time being, I won't be going there anymore and neither will those who were with me.

The Iberico croquettes and tacos were cold and the service slow but friendly. Had to get cutlery myself. The tacos were served with large holes in them. Resolved after returning, but still cold.

I would love to give a better ratting for this location. Especially, because of the good food. However the service is just annoying. From locals we learned that it is a thing to make customers wait between servings, so they order more drinks. This restaurant mastered this tactic. It takes for ever until you are served. We waited at least 40 minutes until the food arrived. Even for making espresso it takes them an obnoxious time to so. Besides that the service personal seems to have no eyes and ears. If you want them to notice you, you almost have to throw something at them. This kind of service basically destroys all other good things line quality of the food and drinks am the atmosphere.

Walked in for dinner while in town. Great antmosphere and even better food. Definely a great place!

Horrible place!! Service is very slow. We were waiting for the cocktail for 35 minutes and restaurant was not even full. Cocktail consisted 99% ice and 1% liquid. Maybe it was not too bad, but it was 2-3 sips and a lot of ice. I didn’t have a chance to taste it enough. Doesn’t worth it. Disappointed. I don’t recommend this place.

Delicious food, but what really made the evening was the very friendly service, what a nice gentleman

The service was friendly, but very slow, you had to go after everything yourself. Patatas bravas were French fries with a tomato sauce on top, the taco was a filled tortilla wrap. Dessert didn't come at all. Not much to be happy about, very unfortunate.

Delicious food. Large portions, so you have certainly eaten enough. I had the chicken and rice wraps. Delicious in taste and enough chicken to fill the 2 wraps. The next day we sat on the terrace for a while because we were thirsty and wanted to have something to drink before our cinema visit. For that reason, we wanted to pay when ordering, so that we could proceed immediately. The waiter thought this was 'strange' when paying immediately. Someone may find something, but keep that to yourself. 🙂

Waiting way too long for a drink.

It is impossible for me to say whether the disappointment was the result of the Social Deal or the standards of this restaurant, but we will not repeat this experience. My girlfriend and I opted for the shared dining at Havana, which initially seemed like an atmospheric and tasty evening. However, this turned out to be a disappointment in which we could only laugh to end the evening on a somewhat positive note. With the main course we got a tostada with pork that was clearly not fresh and tasteless. The barbecue sauce on top seemed to be an attempt to mask this. The chicken salad consisted of tough, old pieces of meat that we suspected had been recycled. It was inedible. The corn on the cob had been microwaved and was soft and soggy. The chicken tenders, patatas bravas and other tostada were excellent. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes for the dessert before we had to inform the service ourselves. He told us that this would be on the table within two minutes. The dessert was a small bright spot in this otherwise flawed experience. And while it was very uninspired, it was passable. Even if it hadn't been for the old meat, it wouldn't have been a problem for me. Still, the overall experience gave the impression that we were being fed recycled food, intended for guests with a Social Deal voucher. It felt like a way to sell leftovers of a questionable standard under the guise of a “culinary experience”. And the endless waiting for basically nothing didn't help either.

Excellent food in a Cuban atmosphere with good service

Very nice and attentive waitress.

We were here for lunch and felt very comfortable. You immerse yourself in another world! A really great ambience that combines Cuban flair with very beautiful old vaults. Our food was delicious, but the portions weren't very large, which was what we were told when we placed our order. The drinks were also well mixed and small cola bottles were opened at the table. So you don't get stale mixed drinks. Service was friendly and spoke English. Will come back again in the evening.

The venue is nice, great cocktails. But don’t order guacamole. It tasted rotten and ruined a great evening, also because they didn’t made up for it in any way. No apology in any way. They just took it away. And finally the waitress didn’t show up to let us pay…

We had a delicious lunch here! The service was extremely friendly and with a big smile. The hot chicken sandwich is definitely recommended! Also nice that they have board games.

It's a shame that you can no longer dance there, but Havana also remains a pleasant place to eat or have a drink. To be on the safe side, we made a reservation for dinner here on a Saturday evening and it was also busy. We started with a sandwich beforehand. The spreads were tasty, but unfortunately far too much in relation to the bread you got with it. I had the vegetarian fajitas as a main course. The dish arrives sizzling. The beans and vegetables tasted good. Too bad it is served with two large tortillas that are also smeared with oil. That made eating very difficult. Would have preferred some small dry tortillas. The rice was dry and tasted too much like coconut in my opinion. Finally, the drinks were fine. Be careful if you order a cocktail, because if you do not specify you will receive a large variant and your bill will of course be a lot higher.

What ridiculously bad service. Wait 2 hours for your food, then wait more than an hour for your desert. Rarely have I eaten something so bad somewhere. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Had a delicious meal at Havana in The Hague. Extremely friendly welcome and service. Definitely recommended for those who want to eat well in a cozy restaurant. Interior restaurant also very nice.

We walked-in last evening for dinner. The insides of the restaurant, the decor, the rough finish walls, columns, murals and the overall layout were very authentic. It’s difficult to visualize such a huge place from the outside. The music was mellow Spanish Jazz, which appealed us all. The wait was slightly longer for the starter(which was aptly compensated by the Staff :) ). The food was authentic, delicious and exactly as we wanted it to be. They do have a good number of Vegetarian options as well. We had a good time in Havana and it was worth the wait. Would love to go back again.

Nice terrace in itself in a beautiful location but angular, somewhat unfriendly and only English-speaking staff. Waiting for half an hour for a few drinks that never came. When asked where the drinks were, they had no idea. Finally left. Hopeless and sad tent!

I have been there just for Espresso - and I liked it! I am not an expert, but I found here the same flavor of the Espresso I had at a nice portughese cafe in Lausanne ... something I hadn't been able to experience after I moved to Den Haag. I will be back for lunch/dinner, definitely.

Service was very good! but i disliked one cocktail and that was poco loco. It had to much pepper and less watermelon. But we got a different one instead! 🙌🏽

This food has absolutely nothing to do with Cuba. None of it even looks remotely like what you would find in Cuba.

Food was nice and quick but very slow service in the terrace. It took more than 30 min for cocktails and another 20 for one that was forgotten. We asked for another round and after another 40 min waiting we canceled the order.

It was great experience! The food was average. But the service was quick! They had heaters installed all around, that was very great!!

Food, tasty but completely overpriced. Portions small. Service, substandard. No service has been seen for 30 minutes... and the glass remains empty. The service is missing or unable to process the order. I don't know it. We sit here as a group, hungry and thirsty... and enjoy a really nice atmosphere. No recommendation Never again.

It’s unbelievable that they don’t care about the negative reviews, even though it’s clear that aggressive, racist, and rude security guards have been at the entrance for at least 7 years (as there were negative reviews about them even 7 years ago). They responded to one negative review by saying, “This is a restaurant, not a nightclub,” while their Instagram page and website clearly state that they have parties every Friday and Saturday night. We tried to get in on three different nights to party and have a good time, but each time we were turned away with some stupid, nonsensical excuse, like “there’s no party tonight,” “it’s a private event,” or “you’re not regular visitors,” etc. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else, and maybe your night won’t be ruined by the staff at Havana. Edit: It definitely happened at Havana, I am not senile. Among the reviews, there are photos uploaded of the bouncers, who rudely sent us away as well.

Ordering and serving process can be improved. We had to wait a very long time, ordering via the QR code on the table does not help, as it takes a long time and you just don't get what you order. The people are quite friendly, but they don't seem to know how or what......

Upon arrival we were apparently in a section where self-service applied, which was, however, very unclearly indicated; on a board on the table this was written at the bottom in small letters. After some confusion, we headed to the kiosk to place our order, where we were disappointed to learn that a large portion of the desserts were unavailable. Despite this setback, we decided to remain flexible and moved to another area where table service takes place. Unfortunately, this turned out to be no improvement. It took quite some time before we made distant eye contact with an employee. Although there was brief eye contact, we were completely ignored. Even after several attempts to attract attention, the service remained absent. It almost seemed like we were being deliberately ignored, which made the whole experience unprofessional and extremely customer unfriendly. After this disappointing situation we decided to leave the restaurant, and we will not return here anytime soon.

Atmospheric place where you can sit both inside and outside. Unfortunately the hamburger I ordered was undercooked, fortunately this was handled well by the staff. I got a new burger and the next round of drinks was on the house. Definitely satisfied!

We were here in the late afternoon. The waitresses were generally nice, but very stupid: we had to ask for the menu, and when we handed over the menu we were asked what we wanted to order... so we just ordered drinks first. They came pretty quickly too. When we wanted to order food, we were asked what we wanted to drink... that's how it went on... The food wasn't bad, the chicken burger was quite good, the salad was excellent, but how you can prepare fajitas for children with so many onions remains a mystery to me.

There were 15 people having a drink, it's a pity that you had to wait 5 minutes before someone came to take the order. In addition, I thought it was a shame that the appetizers on the menu were treated so strictly. Lacked the flexibility and initiative to propose something outside the menu that suited the size of the group. Now we kept ordering something and it was always not enough, portions were too small.

Service on the terrace is despicable. No one would come to our table unless we waiting with our arms up minutes on end. Waitress too unbothered to take away the empty dishes, asked for us to tidy them and pass them over to her. Cocktails took 20 mins to arrive, and got worse and worse by the order. We ordered a last round with one waiter, only to be yelled at by another waitress that it was no longer possible “like I told you earlier”. All this at 9pm, with the closing time noted as 11pm. Awful experience, the service ruined our staff evening out.
