Very bad! Delivery time was not met, 30 minutes later than promised. The order was supposed to include free posie spring rolls (1puls 1 gratis), but I did not receive them. The Yakitori spring rolls and shrimp were cold. The sushi itself was poorly seasoned and also much too cold. All in all, I feel ripped off; I advise everyone against ordering anything here.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. I ordered sushi from them, and it was a very bad experience. I asked them to deliver the order at a specific time, and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. However, when the delivery time came, the sushi never arrived. I tried calling them many times, but no one answered. When someone finally picked up the phone, they said they didn’t understand anything and then hung up. I am extremely dissatisfied with this service and the way they treat their customers.

Bad. Delivery time is over 2 hours. When you call, they hang up. After calling three times, they promise we'll be there within 10 minutes. They didn't. I wish I'd read the reviews beforehand. Although, if you do read the reviews, I'm glad I didn't eat anything. A terrible place.

Worst delivery experience ever – cold food, rude staff, and no accountability whatsoever. Don't order from here if you expect any kind of service or respect. My order arrived 45 minutes late, the food (the crispy roll and spring rolls) was cold and soggy, and the delivery driver couldn't find the address despite having clear instructions. Instead of an apology, I received rude responses and total indifference on the phone. I then had to walk to another address because otherwise, it wouldn't work… What makes it even worse: the restaurant refuses any compensation or refund, as if this was all my fault. No apology, no solution, nothing. Unprofessional and disrespectful from start to finish. I will never order from Hayai Sushi again – and I advise everyone to do the same. There are plenty of other places that do take quality and customer service seriously.

1st time ordered from them, it was delivered quite quickly within 30 minutes only on the lettuce leaf there was a spider in the sushi container which they can't do much about, maybe wash the lettuce leaves from now on but with ease I quickly got a new container only I thought the seaweed and the chicken were quite dry so unfortunately I didn't really enjoy it but the service was great!

Ordered for the first time today, had a very busy shift, so no time to cook. I order food at 21:00 with a waiting time of 15-40 minutes. At 22:30 I still haven't received anything. It says online that they are actually closed, luckily someone picks up. Indicates that someone is on their way. 10 minutes later I get a call back, it turns out that something went wrong with my order and they are now on their way again. 23:00 still no food. In the meantime, my appetite has disappeared and I would like my money back.

You are nothing but fraudsters, and I demand a full refund for the order that was never delivered. I am writing to express my extreme frustration with the delivery of my sushi order. We placed the order at 7:00 PM, and by 8:00 PM, the app showed the order status as “Delivered,” but no delivery was made. We waited a bit longer, and by 9:00 PM, I began calling Hayai Sushi. No one answered the phone, so I kept calling 8 times. Finally, I got a response and was told that they would only start preparing our order in 30 minutes. They promised delivery in about an hour. However, even after an hour and then two, our order still had not been delivered. By 11:30 PM, we went to bed without receiving our order. The order was never delivered, and when I tried to get a refund, Hayai Sushi refused to return the money for an order they never delivered. Additionally, I want to point out that on Thuisbezorgd, you are modifying and deleting reviews. I have no intention of ever ordering from you again, as this behavior is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Delivery was 20 minutes later, the avocado in the poke bowl (little salmon for 11.50 euros) was unfortunately overripe (see photos) as well as in the 3 boxes we ordered = overripe! You cannot and should not sell that, disappointing, only the Salmon Lovers Box was fair to good, hence 2 stars. We had indicated 1 box without sesame, but they did not add sesame for the entire order. Price-quality ratio is unfortunately not okay.... a real shame, because it used to be better!

I’ve had my fair share of bad experiences ordering in, but this place takes the top spot by a mile. Ordered at 5:30 with the app saying it takes 25-45 minutes. Fine. Between then and 7:20 I called twice to follow up expressing my irritation, only to be told ‘it’s busy, we apologize’. At 7:44 I called once more to cancel, upon which I was told they already canceled as they did not tolerate my tone on the phone. Absolutely insane. For the life of me don’t understand why these people chose the service industry. They don’t own up to the fact they cannot handle high volume, they just take your order and let you wait. Reading the food ratings below however, I think I was spared a worse experience. Thanks Hayai sushi, for not delivering my order!

I get sushi here once or twice a month, and yesterday I threw away an entire container because the "tuna" in the sushi was not fresh tuna like I'm used to, but canned tuna and you pay quite a bit extra for that, I'm still going. order once and file an official complaint and if this continues I will look for another sushi supplier

The delivery time was 45 min more than expected delivery time. When I called the restaurant and started speaking English the guy on the phone hang up on me when I tried to give him my address of delivery. Afterwards my friend who speaks Dutch called them and they said to wait 10-15 min more and finally sushi arrived. Other rolls tasted fine and weren’t small as others restaurants make them. I had hot rolls in my order and they were not hot at all..

I rarely give one star to a restaurant but I think, for this one situation it might be needed. Don’t get me wrong the delivery driver was sweet and polite. But the food I ordered, was not meeting my expectations. I ordered two warm dishes, they were cold. Next to that I order sushi which I don’t think was prepared properly. My gut is telling me that it was also not good, as I am almost vomiting. I find it a shame because I was hoping to find more good restaurants that offer sushi and poke bowls. Also for 14.55 for a small poke bowl is mind blowing. The bowl size is shown in the picture.

Not tasty at all. And as a cherry on the top, I was waiting for more than 2 hours to deliver the food. It arrived and one of the ordered food was smashed in the box. The sushi was not tasty at all and I found other food rolled in it. Do not recommend at all.

Crappy sushi and crappy service. Delivery hours late without any notification and put on hold for 15 minutes when calling later. The fish was smelly and definitely not fresh. I will never order from here again and I would also advise others against ordering from here.

Definitely not recommended, sushi is not tasty and if you write something in comments it is apparently not because of the free roll, so you do not get what is advertised. The only plus point was the fast delivery, but that's all.

It said delivered between 20-40 minutes. I ordered at 6:43 PM and it was just delivered at 8:15 PM... I didn't let anyone know in the meantime that it was getting later or was busy. There is a promotion if you spend €15 or more you get 1 free roll, so I specified tempura ebi and get crispy mayo. I also received the sushi that was very unappetizing and the sushi itself was really not tasty or fresh. I really regret spending €30 on this!!

I ordered online here for the first time because my usual spot was busy, so it was quite nerve-wracking. And I must say, I am impressed by the sushi from Shabu to go and the presentation. Plus, there was a buy one get one free offer. My son and husband were happy and thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
