Hair in the sushi, absolutely disgusting. Never experienced this before while ordering. I had ordered from this restaurant before, and it was fine beforehand. Very unsanitary and disappointing.

Worst delivery experience ever – cold food, rude staff, and no accountability whatsoever. Don't order from here if you expect any kind of service or respect. My order arrived 45 minutes late, the food (the crispy roll and spring rolls) was cold and soggy, and the delivery driver couldn't find the address despite having clear instructions. Instead of an apology, I received rude responses and total indifference on the phone. I then had to walk to another address because otherwise, it wouldn't work… What makes it even worse: the restaurant refuses any compensation or refund, as if this was all my fault. No apology, no solution, nothing. Unprofessional and disrespectful from start to finish. I will never order from Hayai Sushi again – and I advise everyone to do the same. There are plenty of other places that do take quality and customer service seriously.

I looked at my €80 order for a second and there was a larva and an aphid in it. I did get good, clear communication from the manager, but I won't be returning.

1st time ordered from them, it was delivered quite quickly within 30 minutes only on the lettuce leaf there was a spider in the sushi container which they can't do much about, maybe wash the lettuce leaves from now on but with ease I quickly got a new container only I thought the seaweed and the chicken were quite dry so unfortunately I didn't really enjoy it but the service was great!

The fried sushi was a disaster. Tasted like an oliebol, fat and thick pieces.

I had to wait an incredible two hours for my order. Too bad I didn't read the reviews first otherwise I probably would have avoided this restaurant. I am really disappointed and quite angry.

Second time ordering from Hayai Sushi. Both times their sushi was delivered quickly and nice and hot! Happy customer here, so I will definitely order again.

Ordered for the first time today, had a very busy shift, so no time to cook. I order food at 21:00 with a waiting time of 15-40 minutes. At 22:30 I still haven't received anything. It says online that they are actually closed, luckily someone picks up. Indicates that someone is on their way. 10 minutes later I get a call back, it turns out that something went wrong with my order and they are now on their way again. 23:00 still no food. In the meantime, my appetite has disappeared and I would like my money back.

I give 5 stars because I know how difficult it can be to run a catering establishment. Despite that, I waited 2 hours for my entire order without any compensation. I understand that misunderstandings can sometimes arise due to crowds, but this can be compensated with your guests. You guys are really great in general. Super quality sushi and friendly delivery staff. Despite today, I am still very satisfied with your branch and wish you all the best.

Today I ordered some tempura ebi rolls and unfortunately it was disappointing! Unfortunately I didn't have what they sell. Instead of sesame seeds, I had fried onions with a sauce on top. And it wasn't tasty! Also, the rice fell apart before I could dip it in the soy. Really bizarrely bad, never again.

The sushi was really delicious! The crispy sushi was nice and warm when it arrived. It arrived quickly and was also very affordable. The sushi also looked super nice and fresh. Definitely recommended!

After more than 2 hours and 3 calls I canceled the order. Very unprofessional behavior by the staff. Let's hope I get my €99 back.

You are nothing but fraudsters, and I demand a full refund for the order that was never delivered. I am writing to express my extreme frustration with the delivery of my sushi order. We placed the order at 7:00 PM, and by 8:00 PM, the app showed the order status as “Delivered,” but no delivery was made. We waited a bit longer, and by 9:00 PM, I began calling Hayai Sushi. No one answered the phone, so I kept calling 8 times. Finally, I got a response and was told that they would only start preparing our order in 30 minutes. They promised delivery in about an hour. However, even after an hour and then two, our order still had not been delivered. By 11:30 PM, we went to bed without receiving our order. The order was never delivered, and when I tried to get a refund, Hayai Sushi refused to return the money for an order they never delivered. Additionally, I want to point out that on Thuisbezorgd, you are modifying and deleting reviews. I have no intention of ever ordering from you again, as this behavior is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Ordered sushi here yesterday, waited more than 3 hours. Called several phones and no one answered. When they finally answered, they asked what time it would be delivered and the boy on the phone said the delivery person would leave in 10 minutes. He indicated that it was very busy. Which is understandable on Valentine's Day but 3 hours is ridiculous. After this we waited another hour and in the end the food never arrived and we didn't hear anything again.

I ordered at 18:30 and it was delivered at 21:16.

Ordered food at 7:14 pm. Still waiting for my food at the moment. It is now 10.18 pm.. Just 3 hours later.. My appetite is gone and most likely my money too. Tried calling several times, but no answer. Leaving voicemail is not even an option, because the inbox is full! You guys don't even deserve that one star... Wow! Really ridiculous! Update... 00.17 the doorbell rings... 5 hours later!!! "Please enjoy your meal!" It is said when opening the door. "Dude, you're 5 hours late?" "Yes, sorry it was busy..." Really scandalous, without a single phone call or message. And then having the nerve to ring the bell 5 hours later... Never again...

We have now been waiting for our order for 3.5 hours. So I can't say anything about the quality of the food. Called about 10 times, of which the phone was answered once. Definitely not recommended.

Order placed at 7:38 PM. Still nothing received at 9:45 PM. Called 5 times in the meantime and was simply pushed away. The food is not delivered. Only received a notification at 10:00 PM that the order had been canceled. I see several people having the same problem with this case. Terrible!!!!

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd at 7:55 PM. Not delivered yet at 9:15 PM. I call, and then he searches by zip code, 'OK, yes, it will take another 45 minutes.' Order was simply not processed. Can easily be done over. No apologies or anything like that. I canceled the order. Never ordered here before, and never again.

Ordered for the first time and it was a bit late at 9:35 PM knowing they close at 10 PM, but I assumed that delivery would take a little longer because I was close to closing time, but it wasn't too bad! And everything arrived fresh and hot good sushi! Recommended!! Thank you !

Delivery was 20 minutes later, the avocado in the poke bowl (little salmon for 11.50 euros) was unfortunately overripe (see photos) as well as in the 3 boxes we ordered = overripe! You cannot and should not sell that, disappointing, only the Salmon Lovers Box was fair to good, hence 2 stars. We had indicated 1 box without sesame, but they did not add sesame for the entire order. Price-quality ratio is unfortunately not okay.... a real shame, because it used to be better!

I’ve had my fair share of bad experiences ordering in, but this place takes the top spot by a mile. Ordered at 5:30 with the app saying it takes 25-45 minutes. Fine. Between then and 7:20 I called twice to follow up expressing my irritation, only to be told ‘it’s busy, we apologize’. At 7:44 I called once more to cancel, upon which I was told they already canceled as they did not tolerate my tone on the phone. Absolutely insane. For the life of me don’t understand why these people chose the service industry. They don’t own up to the fact they cannot handle high volume, they just take your order and let you wait. Reading the food ratings below however, I think I was spared a worse experience. Thanks Hayai sushi, for not delivering my order!

The delivery time was 45 min more than expected delivery time. When I called the restaurant and started speaking English the guy on the phone hang up on me when I tried to give him my address of delivery. Afterwards my friend who speaks Dutch called them and they said to wait 10-15 min more and finally sushi arrived. Other rolls tasted fine and weren’t small as others restaurants make them. I had hot rolls in my order and they were not hot at all..

The food was delicious, but unfortunately we had to wait more than an hour for delivery. When we called for the first time to ask where our order was, they just hung up without explanation. Hopefully customer service will improve in the future

I get sushi here once or twice a month, and yesterday I threw away an entire container because the "tuna" in the sushi was not fresh tuna like I'm used to, but canned tuna and you pay quite a bit extra for that, I'm still going. order once and file an official complaint and if this continues I will look for another sushi supplier

Ordered sushi and a coke, they forgot. I called, within 20 minutes they brought the coke with some extra sushi. Very friendly and warm, toppers.

horrible experience. i ordered deep fried sushi 38euro. the food smelled sour and tasted like vinegar. i knew for sure the food was spoiled and inedible. i brought the food box to the shop and told them about it. the manager was annoyed and didnt take responsibility for it. i left the food box there for them. horrible. first time and last time.

I rarely give one star to a restaurant but I think, for this one situation it might be needed. Don’t get me wrong the delivery driver was sweet and polite. But the food I ordered, was not meeting my expectations. I ordered two warm dishes, they were cold. Next to that I order sushi which I don’t think was prepared properly. My gut is telling me that it was also not good, as I am almost vomiting. I find it a shame because I was hoping to find more good restaurants that offer sushi and poke bowls. Also for 14.55 for a small poke bowl is mind blowing. The bowl size is shown in the picture.

Not tasty at all. And as a cherry on the top, I was waiting for more than 2 hours to deliver the food. It arrived and one of the ordered food was smashed in the box. The sushi was not tasty at all and I found other food rolled in it. Do not recommend at all.

Definitely not recommended, sushi is not tasty and if you write something in comments it is apparently not because of the free roll, so you do not get what is advertised. The only plus point was the fast delivery, but that's all.

It said delivered between 20-40 minutes. I ordered at 6:43 PM and it was just delivered at 8:15 PM... I didn't let anyone know in the meantime that it was getting later or was busy. There is a promotion if you spend €15 or more you get 1 free roll, so I specified tempura ebi and get crispy mayo. I also received the sushi that was very unappetizing and the sushi itself was really not tasty or fresh. I really regret spending €30 on this!!

After my order had been taken 2 hours later, they had also forgotten half of it, so I called them and the man said that it was very busy and that the other food would be there within an hour after waiting another 2 hours. we brought it in after which they forgot another x things Furthermore, the food was inedible I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!!

It said the order would be delivered between 20 and 35 minutes. Finally received the order after 1.5 hours. They also didn't let us know that it would take longer. The sushi with meat literally had a piece of meat in it so small you could hardly even see it?? Furthermore, the spring rolls were also not cooked yet. Bad service, bad delivery & bad food.😅 and it was expensive too.

Ordered and we received the food cold. Very disappointing. The food was once again cold when we received it, which doesn't seem to be the norm when it is delivered. Very disappointing.

I thought I'd give it a chance, but it really is the worst sushi I've ever had. Delivery was over an hour later (which would be fine if everything else was good), and the sushi is disgusting. It falls apart and the crispy version is a fried rice ball. I could have made that myself. It would have been better to order a croquette.

Ordered again from Hayai Sushi today and the food was delivered by Mike within 45 minutes.

Cheap Sushi, with ok quality. You pay what you get. If you don't mind also waiting for 3 hours for your delivery to arrive. Go for it. We ordered at 18h20 and the food arrived at 21h05. We had to cook a dinner in the meantime, and had the sushi next day.

Super tasty sushi! And very good service. Somehow my food had arrived at another address. And without hesitation they sent it again to the correct address. Great! My children were super happy!!! Big compliment!

Delivery took more than 2 hours. After 45 minutes late I called myself and was told that it was ready and that it would leave shortly. Finally after 2 hours the sushi was delivered. The sushi is dry, crushed, soggy and has little to no flavor. Very waste of money.

An hour late, every time they call and every time they promise 10 minutes. This was the 3rd already... stupid of us to accidentally order from here again.... Such a huge regret!!!! The food also arrived as if it was from this morning... so dirty and soggy! As if someone had sat on it too. Completely crushed.. dirty.. Can also throw away 1 container.....

Ordered sushi here for the first time. This will be confirmed with an email, also that it will be delivered as soon as possible. After an hour and a half, someone arrives to deliver the sushi you ordered. The sushi has clearly been waiting to be delivered for a long time. It's soggy and has little flavor. Shame! But we won't order here again.

The food arrived very late and in the end we didn’t receive what we ordered. We never got our gyoza’s! Also my friend found a bone in her sushi. Overall not a good experience, do not recommend.

I made an order via Uber eats, it was not delivered in time and when I called to the restaurant, they said that there was no street name in my address. But it was specified. The staff did not call me to specify it when they received the order. Also it is possible to just use the zip code instead 🤷🏼‍♂️ When I received the food it was not tasty
