Delivery time: two hours. If I'd wanted to go on a diet, I wouldn't have ordered anything. Or did it take so long because the fish first had to be taken out of the sea, packed in a can, and then unpacked again? Everything tastes the same. A peanut butter sandwich has even more flavor than this. So much mayonnaise it's practically diabetic. They can't even get the wasabi right. Can't they count to three? Then again, maybe that's a good thing, otherwise the delivery time would probably have been three hours. The fried sushi tastes like a lumpy block of rice wrapped in hard, flavorless dough. Do yourself a favor: watch a YouTube video, learn how to make sushi yourself, go to the supermarket and the fishmonger, get everything, and make it yourself. You'll probably get there faster, and it'll taste fresher and better.

By far the worst sushi ever!!!! It's even worse than a simple all-you-can-eat. First of all, it's already quite expensive, and then it's made so badly that it's sticky with barely any flavor and burnt chicken in it, I can't even swallow it... Secondly, I get a different sushi than what I ordered. With a note in my bag asking if I could give 5 stars... you get 1... 0 would actually be the best... Calling wasn't possible either because they were already closed. Such a shame, it cost me a fortune.

Your order could be canceled because the restaurant thinks something you want to eat. 👌 I just dutifully ordered the minimum order amount of over 25 euros, but they don't like what I ordered, so it's not worth driving to my home. That's why the order was canceled: "We won't drive for that." So you order for almost 30 euros, but they don't like the content, so no delivery. Canceled then... you don't get any confirmation, so now the question is, will I get my money back? Truly rude. I've never experienced a restaurant judging what you want to eat if you order more than the minimum amount. Never again, yes, not even for sushi. (Not even for 20 cans of cola or a few tubs of ice cream 🙄)

I normally read reviews before going places but I live nearby and wanted poke, so I saw it walking by. I’ve now been 5+ times and always have a good experience. I’m pretty picky and I find it to be fresh enough. The staff is also really nice. I like that you get a free sushi roll for every € 15 spent.

Ordered sushi on a Monday evening at 17:30, called at 18:30 to ask where the order was. The employee indicated that the delivery person had just left with the order. Called again at 19:00 and 20:00 and I got the excuse 'the delivery person made a mistake and left with an empty delivery bike' when asked how Hayai deals with this kind of mistakes in terms of compensation: I'll send it now anyway. What a miserable service, unfriendly and no compensation. Eventually I was able to cancel via UBER customer service. Never order here again, and I will also share this experience with friends and acquaintances

Culinary low point of the year I have rarely been served such a tasteless mockery of a meal. The tuna in the sushi was so bland I wondered if he had ever even seen the saltwater. Friday, February 14, 2025, ordered sushi for six people from this company because we had a birthday. Ordered at 7:30 PM, but called at 8:30 PM because it wasn't there yet, I can understand that it was busy, the employee promised me that it would be there at 9:00 PM, but they came no. Called after 2 hours, and you guessed it! The order was STILL made. When I wanted to call after 3 hours, they had taken the phone off the hook and were no longer reachable by phone. After 3 hours and 20 minutes the order arrived, there was more yakitori sauce in the plastic bag than on the skewer and they had forgotten a sushi roll. Never again.

Order placed at 6:00 PM, it said it would be delivered within 45 minutes. At 7:00 PM I called the store to ask how far they were, but these calls were not answered. Drove to the store and they indicated that it was almost ready. I ended up having to wait at least 30 minutes in the store for my order. Some people came into the store to complain that they had not received their order yet. The sushi itself was tasty and we were satisfied with it. But never here again for us.

I have ordered from Hayai Sushi before, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Each piece of sushi or roll contained very little salmon, with some slices being almost see-through. I mistakenly gave them another chance, thinking my previous experience was a one-time issue, but unfortunately, the same situation occurred again. I will not be ordering sushi from there again. The order arrived in 30 minutes, the quality of the sushi was fresh, the price-quality ratio is very good, if you order directly on their website they have special deals and promotions. So overall I think I’ll be ordering from here in the future. I was afraid to order because they have a lot of bad reviews regarding the timing, but in my experience when it comes to sushi(or fresh food), if you want to have quality it is normal that it takes time specially during the peak times, because everybody wants to order at the same time.

You can't really go wrong with sushi. Unfortunately, the fish isn't fresh, and the rest is drowned in sauce. The delivery drivers' and service staff's lack of Dutch language skills, morals, and values is appalling.

Na jaren van een trouwe klant zien we deze toko afglijden. Het diepte punt was vandaag. Allereerst een half uur te vroeg bezorgd. Niet iedereen was thuis. Vervolgens merkte we dat 90% niet vers was gemaakt. Veel was koelkast koud en voor crispy ebi is dat ronduit slecht. Er zat vervolgens ook nog een niet te plaatsen type sushi tussen. Iets van komkommer en veel paneermeel als topping. Niet lekker dus. Komt er op neer dat we heel veel betaald hebben voor een slecht product. Laat het een signaal zijn dat je dit niet kunt maken en er alles aan moet doen je kwaliteit hoog te houden. Wij kijken bij een volgende bestelling een keer naar een andere toko.

A very nice restaurant, but the tables are very close together. The sushi was mediocre, although the beef and lamb chops were tender and flavorful. A very polite waiter helped us. Not a culinary highlight, but a tasty treat. Definitely worth going back.

Never again, it takes so long to be delivered. I called twice and they said it was on its way, but we waited almost two hours for the food. No more for us.
