Tasty bitterballen. The broeder was warmed up and too sweet for me. Sometimes the waitstaff came too quickly: glass wasn't even finished yet and they were already back; sometimes it was difficult to get their attention. But a beautiful, cozy location!

I had lunch here and ate a hamburger. The sandwich was around €14.00 and would have been good if it had a good burger on it. For €14, I don't expect a tough, factory-made hamburger made of compressed meat without texture, which you normally expect from a hamburger in this price range. Otherwise, it is a nice place to have lunch, but just skip the hamburger. Not worth the money.

Although clearing an overcrowded table with empty glasses and cups isn't quite ingrained in the system for most of the young servers yet. Sharing platters are becoming increasingly expensive and meager. The entire menu has been significantly adjusted. Prices are higher and your plate is emptier. 2025 Always a nice and cozy terrace. Normally, it would get 5 stars from me, because we enjoy coming here for lunch and drinks, but the rude attitude and know-it-all attitude of the manager behind the bar have led me to decide to change the review from 5 to 2 stars. Engaging in an argument over a few cold snacks on a sharing platter costing 28.50 euros was not smart of this gentleman. In any case, it quickly became clear that we won't be booking a party here anymore, because that was actually the intention.

Yesterday, I went out for dinner with work at De Drie Linden. Due to circumstances at work, I called the day before to inform them of my allergies. This was no problem. The restaurant took this very seriously, and all the staff were aware of it. Everything was thought of: a different type of sauce, changing gloves to prepare my hamburger, a different bun, and more. Because of this, I was able to eat in a very relaxed atmosphere! I don't always experience things differently. Thanks for the flexibility and the helpfulness! Very beautiful place and surroundings, and a super fun playground, but the food was severely disappointing. The cake we received was piping hot on the inside, probably quickly defrosted in the microwave, and therefore not tasty. After that, we ordered a toasted sandwich for almost 10 euros, which only had some chicken in the middle and consisted of dry bread for almost half of it. For the prices charged, this is truly substandard. A shame, because the location is beautiful.

We stopped here only for refreshments on the way back from a cycle to Heusden. The young man who served us was excellent in every possible way; affable, and with a great attention to detail. In fact, even better than waiters at Michelin star restaurants we've been to. A real credit to the place.

We have had meetings at Herberg de drie Linden several times. Behind the inn, they have a separate building where you can hold meetings if needed. The lunch is always excellent, and we had carpaccio with bread and a beef croquette there. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Lunch was reserved for 12:00. The table where we thought we were supposed to sit turned out to be for another party. We rearranged our tables ourselves. Our lunch didn't arrive until 13:30. I am never going here again.

On Saturday, May 16th, I had asparagus soup. Well, unfortunately, I only found 7 pieces of 1.5 cm asparagus, though there were more pieces of ham in the soup. It was more of a white cream soup with a hint of asparagus. It was served nice and hot in a cast-iron pot with a small bread roll, a tub of butter, and dressing on the side.

We had coffee. We were surprised by the size. Service took a bit long, but the coffee and pastry were fine.

Pleasantly busy terrace with an extensive menu for lunch, among other things, and plenty of vegetarian options. Located by the dunes. With bicycle racks and horse stabling. Great large playground adjacent to the terrace. You cannot see the playground from the entire terrace, but it is fenced off so the children cannot escape. Furthermore, fast service on a busy sunny day during the May holidays.

In the afternoon, we wanted to have a quick drink on the terrace. The terrace was half full. We stood there while a waitress cleaned the table. She didn't say a word, and when she was finished, she walked away. We saw four other staff members walking around, but apparently, no one noticed us. After about 10 minutes, we cycled on. Incidentally, this isn't the first time we've experienced this here. Last year, with 5 people, we also left after a long wait. This staff could really use a hospitality course.

There is a beautiful sunny terrace here where you are served very courteously. And then there is also Kwaremont Blond, a delicious beer at a reasonable price.

I would have liked to take a break here during our walk. Google and the company's own website state that they are open until 5:30 PM from January through March. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, everything was closed. I tried calling to check if we were mistaken and could actually get in somewhere, but no one answered when I called either. The response: this was Friday afternoon, March 13. Around 3 o'clock.

I had a veggie grilled cheese sandwich, but it was just a tough slice of bread where they'd left the meat. It was supposed to come with raw vegetables and onion, but they were nowhere to be found. The cappuccino was also disappointing.

The atmosphere is always great at De Drie Linden. A downside is that there's always a shortage of staff outside. They try really hard, but as a customer, you have to beg for their attention. If it were my place, I'd definitely increase the number of servers outside. Oh yeah, and personally, I prefer warm apple pie to cold, but that's just a matter of personal preference.

🐾 Dune walk & lunch on a sunny Friday On a random sunny Friday afternoon, we decided to go out—with the dog on the scooter towards the dunes. After a pleasant walk, we took a short break for lunch. For us: A simple lunch to relax. For the dog: A bowl of water was politely offered. 🌤️ Atmosphere: It was remarkably quiet for a Friday afternoon. I suspect it's considerably busier here on Sundays. A relaxing moment in a natural setting, ideal for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle.

We ate here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times we enjoyed the terrace, which has several seating areas and lovely outdoor furniture. A lovely location, very friendly staff, and delicious food.
