Social Deal has a separate menu; you can order some items for an additional charge. The farmer's schnitzel was fine, portions generous. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service.

The hamburger was okay. The bun was good. The fries were well cooked. There were hardly any vegetables with it, which made me find it a bit monotonous. What was a real miss was that there were pieces of a toothpick stuck in the meat. And perhaps even worse is that, after I pointed this out to the staff, there was barely any reaction.

Unfortunately, a disappointing experience. The roasted chicken was very dry and was served on a plate full of overcooked fries. The ordered side salad was covered by a slice of melted cheese and was tasteless and watery. The steak tips were overcooked and therefore not juicy, let alone tender. The accompanying truffle jus had a bitter edge, as if the butter had burned. The modest handful of salad lay in the jus. The atmospheric ambiance of the beautiful building could not dispel the impression that the kitchen was working uninspiredly and routinely. A waste of ingredients, a waste of money, and a waste of patronage.

Herberg Nuwenspete is situated in a wooded area. It has its own parking lot. It features a large outdoor terrace, a courtyard, and an indoor area. The indoor area, in particular, looks atmospheric. The outdoor terrace and the courtyard were slightly less atmospheric. Given the image Herberg Nuwenspete aims to project, it is a somewhat more upscale establishment. The service is friendly and you are served quickly. We ordered a latte macchiato. The price is €4.50. It was a tasty latte macchiato.

We had a delicious meal at Herberg Nuwenspete this weekend. We arrived around 3:00 PM for a late lunch, but my boyfriend was also able to order from the dinner menu, which was incredibly nice. The food is of good quality and they have a varied menu. Portions are generous and the service is friendly. Highly recommended!

After a lovely walk we ended up at this beautiful restaurant. The waitress was very friendly, the dishes we ordered were plentiful and beautifully presented, and the quality was good.

Tasty food, prompt and friendly service, and it's very nice that you can simply order tap water alongside your drink. When reserving online, you can add a request or comment. However, this is not responded to once you are in the restaurant. As a result, I don't really see the point of it. It was pleasantly busy and therefore quite warm. This could only be resolved by opening the front door, which was done in a friendly manner, by the way.

Delicious lunch. Gluten-free is also fine. Friendly service, quiet atmosphere, pleasant. We will definitely come back.

We had reserved via the website 3 hours in advance; a table was ready for us, drinks and the menu were served immediately, and it was served quickly. After the soup, the main course arrived quite soon, and the dessert followed promptly as well. We appreciate the efficient service. The food tasted really delicious! We also had a nice spot on the terrace; it is a beautiful location for dining, in a wooded area.

Lovely chic homely restaurant tucked away in a rural location with excellent food choices to accommodate children, vegetarians, normal diets, etc. Our family of 5 from England very much enjoyed the food and there's a small play area for the kids to enjoy so the parents can enjoy a glass of wine!

Found via Social Deal, had a delicious meal, large portions, staff super friendly. The only downside I can think of is the small glasses of soft drinks (cola from a bottle or tap). Some dishes require an extra charge, but it is definitely worth it. Good coffee too. See you next time 👍 Reservations are definitely recommended, it was completely full (but quiet seating with plenty of space around it).

Dessert: coffee with a bonbon. "Especially a bonbon," I said. Coffee arrived with 3 bonbons and a small tin of chocolates. Great sense of humor from the staff.

We had reserved a table inside by a window. Upon arrival, we were shown to a table on the terrace, and then to a veranda that was extremely hot and swarming with flies. The meal was mediocre, and the dessert, Dame Blanche, took 35 minutes to arrive and was served in warm, melted ice cream cups.

Beautiful location, friendly service staff. It is a lovely and cozy place to sit. Both inside and outside on the terrace. This was our 5th time at this location. The food is generally very good. Although I must honestly admit that I was slightly less pleased with the food the last 2 times.) I did miss some vegetables/raw salads, but perhaps these are only available as a side dish nowadays. The location is certainly worth a visit.

Nice spot, beautiful spaces! We were there for a wedding… everything was fine! However, there was little room for flexibility due to two vegetarian guests! We were told this hadn't been indicated or anticipated! After asking again, something was finally brought after half an hour! It's a shame the staff reacts like that!

We had booked a 2-course lunch via Social Deal. We were received in a friendly and polite manner by the staff. I had the soup of the day (chicken curry soup) and my wife had the tomato soup. Both were very flavorful and served nice and hot. Afterwards, we chose the crispy chicken meal salad. It was well-filled and very tasty with the lukewarm crispy chicken pieces. You certainly enjoy yourself at a beautiful, atmospheric location.

The food is tasty and the staff is friendly and fast. However, the price is a bit on the high side because you have to buy the side dishes separately in addition to the main course. In that case, you get a bit little for the money. I was here again recently for lunch via Social Deal and that price was fine. I wouldn't consider it worth the regular price. That makes the price-quality ratio skewed.

The table was positioned quite far from the sofa, and the chairs were quite affected by the draft from the door. I find having to pay extra for fries a bit of a downside, but there was certainly plenty of fries.

I went for the second time last Thursday for my birthday! We had a delicious meal again; we can only say that it was pure enjoyment at a very reasonable price.

We had a delicious meal at Nuwenspete! We hadn't made a reservation, but the staff went out of their way to find us a table, which was really nice! We were also helped incredibly well at the table by Brechtje! She really thought along with us and came up with a dish that suited us perfectly, which was great!

On February 27, 2026, we celebrated our 12.5-year anniversary at the inn. The preparations and the evening itself were taken care of down to the last detail. They deliver on their promises. We found it to be a fantastic experience in a super cozy atmosphere.

A really nice restaurant. It is a cozy restaurant with a pleasant ambiance. The food is served very well. You can tell that the kitchen staff really do their best to put something delicious on the table. There is also more than enough staff present. The menu has something tasty for everyone, but it is not overly extensive, making the choice easy and undoubtedly ensuring the quality. The selection of 0.0 beers certainly does not disappoint either. I celebrated my grandmother's birthday here with 4 people. If I were to go out for dinner in Nunspeet again, I would definitely reserve a table here again.

We hosted a dinner party at De Herberg for friends and family; there were 21 of us in total. We were seated in the garden room and everything was perfect! The table settings, the food itself, the service—they were very helpful and provided good advice during our preliminary discussions. We look back on it fondly!

First things first: the food was excellent and the quality was as we've come to expect. We come here often and usually choose the "Herberg Tasting" for two as a starter, precisely because it was always such a pleasant and varied start to the evening. Earlier, we each received our own plate of carpaccio, followed by a generous platter to enjoy together: a mini soup, beef sausage, a mini croquette, a steak sandwich, nachos with dip, salmon, a chicken drumstick, shrimp... a truly lovely variety that made you feel like you were sharing something special. This time, unfortunately, it was different. We received a tiered stand with one salmon bonbon to share, a small bowl of shrimp, and one plate of carpaccio to share. The selection and quantity were noticeably less extensive than before. At €34.00 for two people, that felt like a significant step down. To clarify, I've added two photos: one of how it was served to us before and one of how it's presented now. The difference is clearly visible. Again: the taste and quality were good. But the price-to-performance ratio has changed for us.

We've been here several times! We think the tables are way too close together! There's absolutely no privacy! I understand the policy, but??/As many sheep as possible in a pen!!!!
