Great food, friendly staff, price/quality is fine. Will eat again soon via Socialdeal.

We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. There was some time between the starter and main course but otherwise there was nothing to complain about. Sunny terrace, friendly service and excellent price quality. We had a well-filled prawn salad, bread with croquettes and a cauliflower soup as a starter. Large portions.

Located in a beautiful wooded area with excellent, fast and friendly service. The chocolate cake is highly recommended, as is the Hanging Harry IPA

You can't call it a restaurant, so bad. Fish & chips is a plate full of fries with a fish that you have to search for for 23 euros. The chocolate sauce of the Dame blanche was so thin, just disgusting. I suspect that a lot of it comes from the freezer. So tasteless all. Not recommended.

Delicious food in this attractive restaurant. The service was fine. The best surprise of the evening was that upon inquiry in the kitchen it turned out to be possible to make a dairy-free dessert for my husband, who is severely lactose intolerant. The chef made him lactose- and gluten-free pancakes with warm cherries, a scoop of lactose-free ice cream and whipped cream. This dessert was not on the menu, I recommend Nuwenspete to change that quickly, because it was delicious!

During our recent visit to Herberg Nuwenspete in Nunspeet, we were enchanted by the beautiful, green surroundings in which this inn is hidden. The serene wooded location offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and enthusiastic staff, who did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Their dedication and hospitality were immediately noticeable and contributed to a warm and inviting atmosphere. The culinary experience was exquisite. We enjoyed beautifully prepared dishes that were not only a feast for the eyes, but also pampered our taste buds. The menu offers a varied selection, and every dish shows craftsmanship and passion. Highly recommended is the tenderloin with prawns, a combination that is perfectly balanced.  An additional plus is the ample, free parking on site, which makes the visit even more pleasant. All in all, Herberg Nuwenspete is a hidden gem in Nunspeet. Whether you're looking for a culinary experience, a place to relax, or both, this inn offers it all. We look forward to enjoying here again in the future.

Had a delicious lunch just too delicious to put into words

Ate here with Socialdeal promotion. Food was mediocre. Hamburger buns were tough and cold, wild boar pate nothing special. Nachos chewy. Satay was tasty. Dame blanche and coffee were good. But the 2 ladies serving were very pleasant, they even gave them a jug of tap water with ice cubes. We had ordered extra bread with butter, you had to pay 8 euros extra for this, this bread was wonderfully crispy and warm. Location and decor very cozy. Driving there in the dark forest and seeing the lights appear looked nice.

Small menu, good quality food and dietary requirements and/or allergies are taken into account. The dishes are adapted accordingly. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and informal.

Original restaurant, not expected at this location. A bit hidden it seems, however, beautiful decoration, nice staff and a good menu. All of us except for one was really satisfied, the schnitzel seemed a bit low on taste. Well recommended!

Atmospheric restaurant. had a nice meal. Friendly staff. Fish and chips a bit too salty for our taste, but tastes vary. The children's ice cream is a bit large (3 large scoops, whipped cream and various toppings that you could add yourself). Perhaps an idea that a child can choose from different numbers of bulbs. 1 for the small eater and 2 for the big eater. All in all, the food was excellent and there was a diverse choice of main courses.

Excellent dinner, cozy inn and friendly staff. It's a shame that you have to view the menu via your phone. The dishes are not reserved with a vegetable, you could order this extra, but for the price it could have been included. If you don't like too much fuss, it's a great restaurant!

Had a delicious meal at this place. We come from the far north, but I will almost drive back and forth for it. I got so full that I sat in the car with a nice stomach ache!

How disappointing the food was. Plate full of fries and very bad hamburger as well as very dry chicken with too many fries. This is offset by the very good wine that was served. Location beautiful...but food really needs to be much better!! Shame

Tent ziet er leuk uit, personeel is vriendelijk. Alhoewel ik hen geen inhoudelijke vragen hoef te stellen en daar aan adequaat antwoord op moet verwachten. Voorgerecht was compleet smakeloos. Ik heb dat gerecht erg vaak gegeten en zelf gemaakt, maar dit echt slecht. Ik denk dat een voorverpakte versie, mits dit bestaat, uit de supermarkt wel beter smaakt. Bij het uithalen van de borden heb ik voorgaande aangegeven bij het personeel. Daar is natuurlijk niks mee gedaan, behalve even gemeld bij de keuken. Hoofdgerecht was iets beter, maar de vis had ook weinig tot geen smaak. Zelfs twee sauzen op het bord (chef, wat doe je!?) die niet matchen. Toetje was wel lekker. Al met al reken je een flink bedrag af en kom je tot de conclusie dat je beter thuis had kunnen uitpakken voor het diner. 🫠

Were there for a wedding reception. Staff was friendly and quick with service. Location on the edge of the forest, we had to walk a short distance because the parking lot was not too large.

Hele mooie locatie, gezellig interieur. Ze hebben geen menukaart, maar je moet een QR-code scannen. Gebakken champignons als voorgerecht waren lekker, maar niet bijzonder. Brood met smeersels was heerlijk. Biefstukpuntjes met pepersaus was qua portie groot. Biefstuk wel te gaar en pepersaus zat veel stukken paprika in (en dat is het enige wat ik niet lust, maar je verwacht niet dat dit in pepersaus zit). Goed gegeten, maar niet bijzonder.

In a very beautiful and attractive area in Nunspeet. Definitely recommended to have lunch or just drop by for a snack and drink. Or book a table with family or friends and enjoy a delicious meal.

They forgot our food. Requested this, no feedback received. Asked again and it would come. After waiting for 45 minutes it came, it was wrong. Was exchanged, but unfortunately no apologies, nothing at all. If something was said about it, then it was fine. This was very customer unfriendly and certainly a reason not to come back. Very unfortunate.

When we go on holiday, we always look on Social Deal for nice restaurants where we can eat something. That's how we ended up at Herberg Nuwenspete. I had read some mixed reviews on the internet, so we had no idea what to expect, but our expectations were exceeded: we all thought it was really tasty and well taken care of! Beforehand I had a salad with goat cheese croquettes and my friend had the salad with fried chicken. Both dishes were very tasty. Then we both had a Black Angus hamburger and there were fries around it. You got a generous amount of fries. We like that. For dessert, my friend had a Sunny Special and I had the homemade Limoncello Tiramisu, which also came with a scoop of sorbet ice cream. This was a pleasant surprise, as it was not on the menu. We don't live nearby at all, but if we are in the area again, we will definitely go back. Really tasty and also large portions. The terrace is also spacious and it is a beautiful location. We had a good time there.

Als we op vakantie gaan, kijken we altijd op Social Deal voor leuke restaurants waar we wat kunnen eten. Op die manier zijn we bij Herberg Nuwenspete terecht gekomen. Ik had wat wisselende recensies gelezen op internet, dus we hadden geen idee wat we konden verwachten, maar onze verwachtingen zijn overtroffen: we vonden het allemaal echt heel erg lekker en goed verzorgd! Vooraf had ik een salade met geitenkaaskroketjes en mijn vriend had de salade met fried chicken. Beide gerechten waren heel erg smakelijk. Daarna hadden we allebei een hamburger van Black Angus en daaromheen lag allemaal friet. Je kreeg een ruime hoeveelheid patat. Daar houden we wel van. Als toetje had mijn vriend een Sunny Special en ik had de huisgemaakte Limoncello Tiramisu waar ook een bolletje sorbetijs bij bleek te zitten. Dit was een aangename verrassing, want die stond niet op de menukaart. We wonen helemaal niet in de buurt, maar mochten we weer eens in de buurt zijn, dan gaan we zeker nog eens terug. Echt erg lekker en ook flinke porties! Het terras is ook ruim en het is een mooie locatie. We zaten daar goed.

Cozy restaurant where you can have a good time with each other in the old-fashioned way. The quality of the food is very good and affordable. The atmosphere is intimate, cozy and informal. In addition to a cozy indoor dining area, there is also a very spacious and particularly attractive outdoor terrace where you can sit outside for a long time because there are several patio heaters. Whether it concerns a business meeting, a private drink or dinner or just taking a break from a bike ride through the Veluwe and having a cup of coffee, it certainly meets all positive expectations. Wholeheartedly recommended!!!

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and fast. The price is a bit on the high side because you have to buy the side dishes separately in addition to the main course. Then it's a bit little what you get for the money.

Ate with my daughter. The tasting as a starter. Nice variety and attractive presentation. Very tasty. Then the pork tenderloin with sauce and the chicken with truffle. The latter contained so many fries that the extra portion we ordered was not necessary. The only downside was the fries: a lot of small hard fried pieces. That could be better and tastier. Nice place, worth repeating.

Once again a very good meal, nice portions, very good quality and neatly served, Unfortunately, our evening was significantly affected by the loud noise of a large group (14 people), which made private conversation hardly possible. Of course we fully understand that large groups are present, but the acoustics in the extension apparently do not lend themselves to this. Despite our satisfaction with the food and service, we have doubts about our next visit because of this experience. Too bad, we didn't have this experience before at Herberg Nuwenspete.

Very hospitably received with a group of 10 adults and 5 kids. Perfect location on a beautiful spring day, because the children can run around outside. And then enjoy a delicious lunch together. We went for the lunch deal and ordered tasty drinks: everyone was happy!

At checkout we paid 34.95 and because we also asked the girl at the service for the menu for 24.95, she told us the price has not yet been adjusted to 34.95 The restaurant manager told me that you have the right website. Had a delicious lunch via SocialDeal in a beautiful place. The inn is hidden a bit further in the forest, you won't drive past it if you're not looking for it. But what an idyllic cozy place. We sat in the glass conservatory and despite being surrounded by glass, it had a wonderfully warm atmosphere. Especially with the fireplaces on the 'bookcase wall'. The glass really gives you the feeling of 'being in nature'. The food was very tasty and of good quality. Fresh and tasty and large choice of delicious meals. When you enter you get the feeling of an Austrian Stübe. The staff is also very friendly and you are served quickly. Parking was also well organized, enough space. We will definitely come here more often!
