The food is tasty and the staff is friendly and fast. However, the price is a bit on the high side because you have to buy the side dishes separately in addition to the main course. In that case, you get a bit little for the money. I was here again recently for lunch via Social Deal and that price was fine. I wouldn't consider it worth the regular price. That makes the price-quality ratio skewed.

The table was positioned quite far from the sofa, and the chairs were quite affected by the draft from the door. I find having to pay extra for fries a bit of a downside, but there was certainly plenty of fries.

We had a delicious meal at Nuwenspete! We hadn't made a reservation, but the staff went out of their way to find us a table, which was really nice! We were also helped incredibly well at the table by Brechtje! She really thought along with us and came up with a dish that suited us perfectly, which was great!

I went for the second time last Thursday for my birthday! We had a delicious meal again; we can only say that it was pure enjoyment at a very reasonable price.

On February 27, 2026, we celebrated our 12.5-year anniversary at the inn. The preparations and the evening itself were taken care of down to the last detail. They deliver on their promises. We found it to be a fantastic experience in a super cozy atmosphere.

A really nice restaurant. It is a cozy restaurant with a pleasant ambiance. The food is served very well. You can tell that the kitchen staff really do their best to put something delicious on the table. There is also more than enough staff present. The menu has something tasty for everyone, but it is not overly extensive, making the choice easy and undoubtedly ensuring the quality. The selection of 0.0 beers certainly does not disappoint either. I celebrated my grandmother's birthday here with 4 people. If I were to go out for dinner in Nunspeet again, I would definitely reserve a table here again.

The table settings, the food itself, the service—they were very helpful and provided good advice during our preliminary discussions. We look back on it fondly!

First things first: the food was excellent and the quality was as we've come to expect. We come here often and usually choose the "Herberg Tasting" for two as a starter, precisely because it was always such a pleasant and varied start to the evening. Earlier, we each received our own plate of carpaccio, followed by a generous platter to enjoy together: a mini soup, beef sausage, a mini croquette, a steak sandwich, nachos with dip, salmon, a chicken drumstick, shrimp... a truly lovely variety that made you feel like you were sharing something special. This time, unfortunately, it was different. We received a tiered stand with one salmon bonbon to share, a small bowl of shrimp, and one plate of carpaccio to share. The selection and quantity were noticeably less extensive than before. At €34.00 for two people, that felt like a significant step down. To clarify, I've added two photos: one of how it was served to us before and one of how it's presented now. The difference is clearly visible. Again: the taste and quality were good. But the price-to-performance ratio has changed for us.

I haven't had such an excellent meal in a long time... and in such a beautiful, atmospheric setting. Every course was superb, in my opinion. The dessert (a shared tasting) was also a real hit. I look back on it with a smile; what a wonderful evening it was!

We went on Boxing Day, the first group from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. It was busy, but cozy. The staff and kitchen were under time pressure, as the second group was supposed to arrive at 7 PM. The staff forgot a few things, and the food wasn't as good as usual. If that time pressure weren't there, you could have a really good meal here. The two-group system works against them. It's a shame. But we'll definitely be back!

To enjoy the atmosphere, service, and quality of the cuisine, we're willing to make the 1-hour and 15-minute drive. All we can say is... come and see for yourself... because tastes differ.

Cozy and atmospheric restaurant. 3-course menu via Social Deal. Excellent value. The starter and dessert were particularly pleasantly surprising. The fried cauliflower florets are well-seasoned and you get a generous portion. The nachos had a decent amount of cheese and salsa, yet were still nice and crunchy. The dessert was also delicious: a tarte tartin and a banana muffin with ice cream and real whipped cream, beautifully presented. The main course was excellent. The spare ribs are certainly not the best I've had, and at full price, I would have been disappointed. Good enough now. Well-seasoned and with two sauces, but I don't think the quality of the ribs is fantastic. The chicken burger was otherwise good, and the presentation was very neat. Drinks, unlike another restaurant in the city center, were reasonably priced.

Always excellent. Generous portions (certainly no discount due to social media), a neat and cozy interior. Very friendly staff, and above all, the food was excellent and delicious at a traditional price. A 3-course meal including drinks costs €75 for 2 people. Thanks to its location, it's even more beautiful in the summer; they have a fantastic terrace in the woods. Highly recommended!

Herberg Nuwenspete is a beautiful, atmospheric, intimate venue surrounded by nature! On the day itself, everything was perfectly arranged, and we wanted for nothing. Herberg Nuwenspete is a fantastic location for a beautiful wedding, from the ceremony to the evening party!

Bregje's service was fantastic and friendly. The food (we had the satay, half chicken, and steak) was, in a word, fantastic! We hadn't had such a good meal at a restaurant in a long time. We sat outside on the terrace, which had a wonderful atmosphere.
