Lovely terrace, great ambiance, and very nice, good service. Had lunch there twice in 3 days because it is so cozy and the food is of good quality!

Dishes are pricey. But I had a chef's menu here, 3 courses for a great price, less than 40 euros. The meal was exquisite. Take the carpaccio as a starter, a very luxurious version, very flavorful. The atmosphere is fine, quietly situated along a body of water and in wooded surroundings. The service is simply good and attentive. I would love to come back again.

The food was good but we waited more than !one hour! to get some bread and butter!? We ordered the mother's day 2 course meal but it literally took !4! hours sitting there. It took 1.5 hours before we got the starter from a SET menu with no other options. Then it took 1 full hour before the main came out. In the mean time, we did not get checked upon for drinks or any apologies. Yes, it was busy, but this was ridiculous. The food itself was really good, but the lamb from the main dish, that came 2.5 hours in (no joke, timestamps on photos) was visibly overcooked (why did the kitchen send it out, we could have waited 10 minutes more as we were already waiting anyway?) and it was such a disappointment because of the wait and if the lamb was cooked perfectly, the dish would have been really good. We ordered extra fries because we got so hungry. Even though the staff was friendly overall, they paid no attention to the guests whatsoever. I honestly have never ever experienced this before. I was shocked.

Nice place to sit on the terrace!

We only had coffee and cake on the terrace. Excellent cappuccino. Delicious cake and incredibly friendly service. Our little dog was also welcome on the terrace. The restaurant is beautifully situated by a stunning pond. I did notice that all the guests were over 50. I did take a quick look at the menu. Prices were quite on the high side, but I cannot judge if it is worth it.

What a wonderful experience dining at the Hermitage in Oisterwijk. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere amazing, and most importantly, the food was very flavorful and beautifully presented. Our special thanks go out to Naima and Sam!!!

We sat and ate in a surprisingly relaxed atmosphere. Naima is a real spark for the place. A top-notch hostess! We will definitely be back for her hospitality alone.

We ended up here by chance during a motorcycle ride. We were received incredibly warmly, and the service was very polite and professional. The food is highly recommended; it looked amazing, and we had a delicious meal! We were also able to relax on the terrace and enjoy the fantastic garden!

We had lunch this afternoon with 4 ladies. The service radiated little positivity, and it also took a very long time before we received our lunch. The food was reasonable but not optimal; the price-quality ratio was absolutely not good: 19 euros for a club sandwich without salad, with a hint of chicken and some bacon, 1 slice of cucumber and 2 slices of egg, topped off with a handful of chips. The location is perfect; that is what they have to rely on.

It was a delight to eat here. An interesting menu with appealing dishes. We were served very quickly and the dishes had a lot of depth. If we are on holiday in Oisterwijk again, we will certainly come back!

The way French-speaking customers are treated needs improvement: the staff lacks friendliness. The service is very slow (over 30 minutes wait for a drink) and the waitress's attitude was abrupt when placing the drinks on the table, which led us to not return. What a shame 😫

The best restaurant in the whole area! Everything is just perfect. A beautiful, peaceful terrace, incredibly delicious food, and warm, welcoming staff! We felt right at home. We're already looking forward to September when we'll be back. Thank you for two wonderful evenings!

We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely dinner outside on the terrace. You sit beautifully by a pond surrounded by forest, which makes for a wonderful experience. Price-wise, it is slightly above average, but definitely worth it. The chateau briand was deliciously tender. Highly recommended.

It was too hot outside. Nice and cool inside. We were the only ones inside. But we certainly weren't forgotten. Had an extensive lunch. The air conditioning could have been turned down a bit after a while. Very tasty lunch. Good service.

Had the pleasure of eating here recently; it was really very good. We were incredibly lucky with the weather, so we sat outside, and everything was good: service, food, and location. And yes, it is not the cheapest restaurant, but it is worth it. Highly recommended.

It is Mother's Day 2026… we wanted to make a reservation but that wasn't possible. We were waiting in line and saw three empty tables. We asked if we could sit there (at one of the tables) and they said no… we turned around to leave and the couple standing behind us were allowed to sit down.. They said that they had responded even though we weren't allowed to make a reservation.

We had a delicious meal. I had this month's four-course menu. We sat by the roaring fireplace, enjoying the Christmas atmosphere.

Had a wonderful meal with my daughter on a cold Friday evening. The atmosphere was fantastic and the hostess was very friendly and welcoming! This is exactly how you want to be welcomed at a restaurant. She was helpful with filleting the sole: I even asked if they'd fillet it beforehand! Everything was exactly as you wished. Neatly set, very clean glasses, and a delicious, warm, crispy roll and amuse-bouche! Isn't that what you want?

If you haven't made a reservation, you'll be placed on a B-shaped terrace by a very unfriendly manager. Then, you'll be completely ignored on that terrace, and you'll have to wait a long time for your food. The price-quality ratio is very disappointing. They drop their food, serve lukewarm croquettes, and all that for a hefty price! Not recommended!!!!

Beautiful location. Sat there by the pond and enjoyed a delicious strawberry cake. Super fresh, highly recommended.

Lunchtime. The terrace was two-thirds empty. We got coffee and tea fairly quickly (the tea had a huge footbath, the biscuit was drowned, nothing was done about it, no apology) and a menu. Then we waited half an hour, asked for attention a few times, but no order was ever taken. Others arrived after us and were already eating; there were plenty of staff! Some other tables were served, but others were ignored. We just left. We won't be back!

What a beautiful spot for a delicious (extensive) lunch on the terrace with a lovely view of the nature and pond. And it's more affordable than it looks.

We have 4 people. Easter Sunday dinner. Friendly staff, young, learning and very friendly. Now comes the but,…. Prices for the dishes are spicy and not realistic for what you expect. What was also disappointing was the long waiting time for the next dishes.

Went out for a nice meal with Herman van Amelsvoort's colleagues, we received a friendly welcome, the location is perfect, the menu looked particularly good. We had a fantastic meal, the plates were neatly and beautifully laid out, the service was very friendly, in short, everything was delicious.

Made a reservation and gave places to other customers..and when I said something about it, the older lady at the service became irritated and angry, but the rest of the staff was very friendly.

I was only there for coffee and cake and it was fine. Lots of tables reserved. It's difficult if you just pass by, but the great thing is that people like to come there. I would definitely go more often. Very nice friendly service too.

Service was rigid and unsympathetic. Upon request to see the snacks menu, this was not allowed because people could possibly choose other dishes that were not available. We got 8 mini snacks with a little curry as a snack. The price was €9.00! More than €1.10 each. If this is the new standard, they will no longer see us at the Hermitage. Disproportionately expensive and the price bears no relation to the quality.

Enjoyed a nice lunch. It was tasty but pricey, but that's everywhere these days. 2 sandwiches with 2 lattes for €37.00. Maybe I have, I don't know, but with today's prices I often skip the tip, leaving room for the waiter. The location is really great. Service is neat and friendly.

Chanced upon this restaurant while out walking, and booked a table for this evening. Food was some of the very best we have eaten for a long time. Carpaccio and Veal Steak were excellent, as were the Tonato Vitello and Sea Bass. We will go back when next in Oisterwijk.

Hermitage is a perfect stopping place for a walk around the block with a cold beer and a fruity rosé for my wife.

It is cozy and beautiful, nice atmosphere and good service, and the food was tasty.
