Always friendly and delicious food

It is high time you created some more parking spaces for bicycles at the back. Apparently, there are more than enough for cars. You are missing out on customers this way, despite your good reputation. That would be a shame, wouldn't it?

We have been coming here for years for the homemade nasi patty and bami block. A little Maggi on top and dig in!

Disappointed. Salad bar almost empty, and we weren't asked how we wanted our beef tenderloin cooked, so everyone was overcooked. A waste of the meat, but the service was pleasant.

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing the last few times... the cold platter wasn't tasty... very watery and the delicious croquettes were so poorly fried that there was nothing tasty about them anymore, they fell apart and grease dripped off.

Homemade snacks are great... the fries are a flop. Eaten a few times and already had undercooked fries mixed in a few times.

Delicious homemade snacks of very high quality. Super friendly service, and if you order online you avoid waiting time because it is always busy there. Your food is also ready at the agreed time. A super snack bar that I am happy to drive fifteen minutes out of my way for. To me, they truly deserve five stars.

Extreme crowds, not pleasant, complete chaos; you have to be able to handle it. I happened to be in Brunssum and needed to grab some food, so I tried this place quickly. The meatballs are very small, there is little choice regarding snacks; many common snacks are simply not available here. High prices compared to other places; the 'fries special' is more like curry fries with onions and 3 small dollops of mayo. The fries themselves tasted fine, but considering the price and what you get, it is very disappointing, and you can definitely get better here. That is why it is very strange that it is so busy here. For me, it was a one-time visit, not worth a second time if I am ever in the neighborhood.

By far the best snack bar in Brunssum, although it can be quite busy, with limited parking. A quick tip: order online in advance.

It's been a long time since I've been there (a restaurant back then). Now, the fries. But I thought the fries tasted a bit cardboardy, and the half chicken tasted like it was deep-fried or microwaved (I couldn't place it). The homemade bamibal was okay. But I looked around and it looked like a factory with quantity but lacked quality!

Today we picked up the food again to enjoy with family, as we do every year for Christmas. The food was delicious again; we thoroughly enjoyed it!!! The friendly service was also fantastic! The order was ready on time, and upon pickup, they were able to tell me I'd placed an additional order. I recommend it to everyone. Thanks again for the great service, keep it up! 😄👍

Top restaurant, so you cannot note any negative points here; everything is taken care of down to the last detail. We were a group of nine people!

Nice and cozy restaurant with good and friendly service and tasty dishes.

No, not what I was used to. The fries were 25% undercut (just four fries together), the veal croquette was a regular croquette (I don't ask for veal for nothing, but I was told beef is beef) and was also completely undercooked, super soft and slightly beige. The bami wasn't shaped like a ball or oval or anything, but tasted okay.

You can order from the menu of the chip shop or restaurant.

Great food. One downside is that table 1 is very close to the sliding door. I was frequently disturbed while eating.

We've been coming here for about 25 years, both for takeout and for the restaurant. Yesterday, we placed a takeout order and asked our son to pick it up. Meanwhile, our other son got a call saying they'd forgotten something. He asked if we wanted to pick it up or if they should bring it to us. My son replied, "You'll have to go to Vaesrade then?" No problem, it was delivered just five minutes later. Unparalleled service! Thanks again, Carmen. We heard you in the background. Delicious food, great only those small bottles of soda, you have to sip them otherwise the bottle is empty within 3 minutes.

I unexpectedly ended up here with family and friends. My first thought when I drove in from Ospel was, "Did I have to drive 45 minutes for a snack bar?" But once I was inside, the atmosphere was cozy, and the menu listed a three-course meal for €37.50 per person on the first page. You could definitely choose from four things per course. My starter, a shrimp cocktail, was well-filled with shrimp, salad, and a delicious sauce. The main course was a tender 150/200 gram tournedos, which came with a generous portion of fries with tasty mayonnaise, a potato gratin, and more salad and fried mushrooms. In between, I also grabbed a plate of salad from the salad bar. And then I was completely full. The food was delicious. I'd forgotten we were also getting dessert, so I decided to have a small one: a crème brûlée. Well, it wasn't small, and it even came with soft serve ice cream and whipped cream. (See photo.) I'll definitely go back. The staff was very friendly, and my stomach was very full.

Everyone is treated very kindly, and the products, especially the homemade ones, including the bamiballen (bamboo balls), are delicious! I drive 12-13 km each way for two bamiballen! Delicious!

The food was delicious, tasty asparagus & steak. I admire the flexibility of the Smulhuis. Another sauce? No problem. A slice of cheese on the hamburger no problem. Delicious food!

Today I picked up the cold macaroni dish and ate it It was delicious and a 500 gram package is more than enough for 1 person.

Unfortunately sour meat slices sauce gives no taste ordered a fries sour meat with mayonnaise.. What do you get a bag of fries jar of mayonnaise and a container with slices (was a choice of cubes I chose the slices) fries may €3.75 and €6.5 for the sour meat. Not customer oriented staff was not really customer friendly either.

Tasty fries, but it's sad how little fries they often give. Time back for 3 people, ordered 3 fries, well all three of us had a hand full of fries on our plates and you pay 9 euros for that.......

Food, service top and atmosphere also fine. Sitting alone near the outside door is during this (autumn/winter) period because when other guests go in or out it is very chilly and disturbing. Maybe let's see what can be done about this.

It's pretty nice to sit there. The service took a relatively long time before we were noticed. But it was still okay. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us all. Once again, the fries didn't taste fresh, but rather sticky. Also, the prices are quite high and don't justify what you get. Do not under any circumstances order a salad! A salad as a main course is nothing better than a salad garnish with another dish. We won't go there again and recommend switching to another chip shop/restaurant.

Was here for the first time recently. Good first impression. There was a lot of choice, which was nice, but you had to take some time to read through everything. Furthermore, they were very nice and friendly, and immediately answered my questions about some snacks. The autumn croquette is definitely recommended, and the red wine oil gives it a very strong Christmas atmosphere. I will definitely come back for this!

10 euros+ for a fries of sour meat mayo... Really goes too far for me. So I got fries, mayo without salt (there was salt in them anyway) and homemade nasi bal, which was good. And the other half had home-made bitterballen (not special) and fries with satay sauce mayo, satay sauce tasted more like soya than peanut... Fries themselves were good, sauces were very pricey...

One of my favorite restaurants. You can eat a la carte or order food from the chip shop. We ate fries with 2 homemade nasi balls and homemade noodles. Delicious. I personally think it tastes better than in an expensive star restaurant. Nice atmosphere and staff. Always make a reservation if you want to be sure of a table.

Excellent restaurant/cafeteria with friendly service. Spacious seating area. It doesn't matter where you sit, you can choose whether you want the restaurant or cafeteria menu at any place. We had the cafeteria menu. Delicious fries with tasty stroganoff sauce and, in addition to the normal snacks, also various tasty homemade snacks. Definitely worth repeating, highly recommended!

This business runs on an old reputation of ordering online with pick-up times that they are nowhere near able to meet. The amount you get is far too little, but the price you pay is mega, so price-quality is hard to find. There is not enough parking space. And then the atmosphere behind the counter is very tense because they are chasing the facts.

The food is great! super friendly staff and a nice cozy atmosphere. The outside terrace is highly recommended when the weather is nice.

Delicious food, but what I found strange was that I had to pay €0.15 for packaging, while I ate from a plate in the shop. Furthermore, no packaging was involved.

Super gezellig restaurant, vriendelijk personeel. En het eten was voortreffelijk. Een klein minpuntje, wij zaten bij de deur naar het buitenterras, met het weer in oktober is het wel wenselijk dat die deur dan niet gebruikt kan worden.

Heerlijke maaltijdsalade met biefstukjes gegeten en mijn partner een schnitzel stroganoff. Goede kwaliteit en vers! De sfeer is huiselijk, relaxed en de bediening vriendelijk. Het is er niet voor niets altijd druk!👍

Wij komen hier al heel lang omdat het de beste snackbar in de regio is / was. Vorige week frites gehaald, waren niet lekker; slap en zacht. Vandaag er gaan eten, niet top. Ging nogal wat mis. Bier was over datum, frites weer niet lekker. Dus voorlopig even niet, helaas.
