High Five in West

Picked up some delicious Indian food in Wenum today. The Marco Polo chicken and the spicy Sri Lankan egg dish were delicious, and the service and communication were great!

We love curries, so it's great that there's an increasing selection of them in Apeldoorn! Since we're mainly vegetarian, the only thing we missed was a touch of paneer cheese in our dishes. It adds a bit more bite and protein, which is a welcome addition to a vegetarian meal. So hopefully, we'll be adding that to our menu here!

Delicious food, ready on time and super tasty!

I'm not in Apeldoorn very often, but when I am, I always stop by High Five for takeout and order the Massaman curry. I can't think of a better curry than the one Marnix makes here!

We ordered three vegan dishes (Marakarry, Sag Dahl, and Vegetable Biryani) and they were truly delicious. Well-seasoned and three new flavors for us. Restaurant quality in our living room. When we placed our order, we received a very friendly call back to check the ingredients. Everything was ready on time and hot. The pickup location was easily accessible and very clean.

Delicious! We ordered the Massaman Chicken and Pad Vegetarian and were able to eat it for two days. So generous portions. Also very helpful, the food was ready on time and everything looked very clean. Recommended!!

Ordered Prieuw delusion, the menu includes various fried vegetables in a sweet and sour sauce with raisins and cashew nuts. Read: green beans, bell pepper, onion and mushrooms with cashew nuts and a bunch of raisins. And where was the sauce? It was sickly sweet, I wonder if this is really Thai. When I look up the recipe on the internet, it says healthy, with pineapple, spring onions, etc., but this was too sweet. My partner's massaman curry with chicken, on the other hand, was very tasty. The rice was good and Nan bread good too. Mister could be a little happier. And maybe hire someone so he's not so busy.

Full of flavor but very sweet and there were too many raisins in it. Ordered 3 different dishes and all 3 contained too many raisins and 1 dish had been stated to have a spicy taste but even that was too sweet. I also found all the dishes quite dry. A real shame. Because they are freshly prepared and yet full of flavor, I give 3 stars.

Did not receive what was ordered. poor communication. I couldn't figure out the names of dishes. Finally scolded!!!!!

Always fresh and wonderfully tasty. Here your food is still prepared and not heated up. Even if you are not a vegetarian, you often choose these dishes. By far the best take away in Apeldoorn

Delicious dishes to take away! Menu has enough choice for anyone who likes Indian, Thai or Sri Lankan food. Everything is made fresh and it tastes fantastic. Recommended!

We pick up here regularly. Although I think it's too good to call it 'takeaway', in my opinion this is the best takeaway in Apeldoorn. A bit pricey, but everything is cooked fresh and 'live' and you can taste it. So I happily pay the slightly higher price. Instead of I would have naan with rice (although it is also very tasty). It's delicious without anything added! We secretly hope that this takeaway will one day open a restaurant. We would at least be regular customers there!

I'm a huge fan of Indian food, so I had to try High Five. I've been there twice so far; the curry has a great flavour and is very tasty. The price is very reasonable for Indian style food. The only major complaint I have is that the Vindaloo and Phaal (described as "Zeer pittig") is nowhere near hot and spicy enough as I would expect for these dishes. When I eat a Phaal, I expect a challenge, but this Phaal was no hotter than a typical Balti of most Indian resturaunts. That said, the food is still good. The naan garlic naan bread is especially impressive in terms of both size and taste. I would still also like to try the Sri Lankan and Thai meals, which I am not so familiar with.
