A lovely place with delicious food made with quality ingredients. In warm weather, you can sit comfortably in the conservatory or outside overlooking the garden where some of the ingredients are grown. Attentive staff and a pleasant atmosphere.

Hof van Keent is gelegen in het buitengebied van Weert, midden tussen de landerijen. De buitenkant heeft ook meer de uitstraling van een boerderij winkel dan van een restaurant. Bij binnenkomst blijkt dit echter een super sfeervol en eigentijds restaurant te zijn met veel transparantie naar de landelijke omgeving. Mooi! De ontvangst is ontzettend hartelijk en dat blijkt de service de gehele avond te zijn. Professioneel, met humor en zeer oplettend. Complimenten voor dit hoge service niveau! Wij kiezen voor het 4 gangen verrassingsmenu voor net geen 50 euro. Al zeer snel volgt de eerste gang. Een salade/tartaar gemaakt van gamba’s met krokant gefrituurde spiering, een pastille van bisque en diverse groenten met een frisse dressing. Eén mooi gepresenteerd en smaakvol gerecht met diverse structuren en smaken (romig, krokant, fris, ziltig). Top! Ook de 2e gang volgt in rap tempo (dit zou wel iets minder snel mogen). Deze kleine tussengang is vegetarisch, maar door de mooie volle smaken wordt vlees of vis niet gemist! Eén ravioli met gesmoorde uien en een crème van comté kaas wordt afgewerkt met aardappelkaantjes en geschaafde kaas! De tijd tot het hoofdgerecht is gelukkig iets ruimer. De ruime portie kalfsentrecote is van zeer goede kwaliteit! Mals en vol van smaak! De erbij geserveerde sjalottenjus is heerlijk, de smaak van de gekarmaliseerde sjalot geeft de saus diepgang. Erbij mooie gegrilde groenten (uit eigen tuin?) en een krokante panipuri. Los erbij geserveerd heerlijke frietjes. Wederom een uitstekend gerecht. Het dessert is een plaatje qua presentatie. Dit gerecht is weer zeer smaakvol en ook hier weer verschillende texturen die het gerecht interessant maken. Een perfecte afsluiter! Hof van Keent is wat ons betreft een absolute aanrader! Een prettige entourage, super vriendelijke bediening en heerlijke gerechten die toch net iets specialer en bijzonderder zijn dan het gemiddelde restaurant en de prijzen doen vermoeden! De prijs van 50 euro voor een 4 gangen menu van deze kwaliteit is zeer schappelijk! Een perfecte prijs kwaliteit verhouding dus.

What was also special, I prefer to describe as Honest Food. no flavor enhancers or other chemical additives. Yesterday we went to Hof van Keent with our colleagues. Atmosphere was pleasant, nice interior, nice hosts. And a delicious 4-course menu with accompanying wines! We really enjoyed it, we will definitely come back here!

Very good food for a very nice price. Surprise menu with 3 courses, 2 soft drinks and 1 coffee, including tip. 50 euros pp. The staff receives you kindly and you are also seen, they come on time to ask if you want anything and the pace of the courses was also perfect. The restaurant itself also looks neatly maintained. We were really positively surprised in all areas. 1 month before we ate at a restaurant with 1 Michelin star, Hof van Keent is barely inferior. We have already made reservations for next month.

Last Sunday (1509) my wife and I celebrated our birthdays with 16 people with a 4-course surprise menu. A week or two in advance we had made good agreements about the implementation, including a prosecco for the adults upon arrival. Unfortunately I had to ask for that myself, just like for the bread in advance. Steffie's attitude was not very professional, she showed little or no interest, for example not even asking if everything was OK, etc. Even at checkout, no interest whatsoever and to top it all off, she stood with her back to us to clean when we left. In short, absolutely not worthy of a catering industry. Nothing but praise for the other waiting staff! Dietary requirements were well taken into account and the quality of the dinner was excellent.

Altijd heerlijk en goed, wij eten vegetarisch en iedere keer is het verrassingsmenu geweldig. De wijn kun je ook goed laten uitzoeken, die is ook heerlijk. De bediening is vriendelijk en deskundig en er is ruimte voor een gezellig gesprekje. Wij zijn groot fan en blij dat het zo dichtbij is.

By far the best restaurant in Weert! Eating it is like having an angel pee on your tongue. Price-quality is very good. The only reason I didn't leave a review earlier is that I'm afraid it will become even busier than it already is, and we will have to make reservations 2 months in advance!

There were four of us and we took the surprise menu. That was fine. A downside was the noise. There were some noisy guests and the sound was barely muffled. Sometimes I couldn't hear my table companions because of this.

We were received very kindly. Reservations are wise, because it is well attended. I find it very noisy inside. There was also a large group eating. The crusts of the white bread were very hard. Brown bread was fine. Furthermore, the food was very tasty. The Pavlova dessert and the homemade green tea are highly recommended! I'll come back again. Leuk gezellig restaurant met bijzonder attente en professionele bediening. Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding, bijzonder veel aandacht besteed aan de mooi opgemaakte borden. Ook leuk dat er veel biologische producten uit eigen tuin gebruikt worden Mijn persoonlijk minpuntje, meng de afzondelijke smaken niet teveel met elkaar zodat ze ook afzonderlijk goed te proeven zijn en ze beter tot hun recht komen. Zeker aan te raden voor een lekkere lunch of diner op behoorlijk niveau!

I can only agree with all the rave reviews here. We were supposed to come with five people, but we were able to change to seven people 2 weeks in advance without any problems. We had the four-course surprise menu and it was a real success! The pace between courses was good, and there was good attention to drinks. But especially the food was fantastic. Tasty, beautiful combinations and textures, really delicious. We will be back!
