Hout in Oud-Strijp

Really good and authentic Italian pizza. People working there are very nice as well. The only thing I found very expensive was the tart,€ 9.50 for a basic tart is too much in my opinion. I would visit again for a pizza.

This restaurant is beautiful and everyone working there seems so happy and friendly. The pizzas are very good, served with scissors which is a fun and very practical idea. The kids spaghetti is very plain (in a kid friendly way, nothing to make a picky child unhappy) and still al dente, which was great for my daughter because that’s how I cook our pasta at home. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is truly lovely.

Food was okayish. But too expensive for the quality. Personnel was kind. Overcrowded

Oh man, I think it's the best pizza I tried in Netherlands. I've been to Naples and this place is represents the Napolitan style pizzas with lots of honour. We also had some nice starters and the carpaccio was also top notch. So to summarize, if you want a good pizza this is your place!.

Delicious pizza, one of the best I've ever had. The dough and sauce are perfect. The toppings are also excellent. The appetizer is very tasty and well-prepared. The dessert is the weakest point; it looks better than it tastes. I rate the price-to-quality ratio as very satisfactory.

Hout's growth hasn't really contributed to the quality. Not in terms of food and not in terms of location. What a shame!

Takeaway Margherita. Ready while you wait, literally. Come and enjoy it nice and hot at your hotel. Cheesy, and deliciously fresh with basil and tomato! I'll definitely dine here next time!

I had Tartufo pizza, which was a proper wood-fired pizza and incredibly delicious. The portions were larger than I expected, so I highly recommend it!

Heard a lot about it as one of the best Italian restaurants in Eindhoven, but it was quite mediocre. Except than the nice atmosphere, the food had nothing more special than other Italian restaurants in the city. The staff were friendly.

We were looking for something to eat and randomly came across this place. They seated us right away, and the staff was very welcoming. The pizza was delicious, and my goat cheese salad was also great with a nice variety of ingredients. We’re big fans of tiramisu, and honestly, it was amazingly delicious — it tasted just like authentic Italian tiramisu! The restaurant is quite spacious, and the service is very fast. If you’re near Strip-S, this is definitely a great restaurant option.

Despite the fact that there was unfortunately no room, we were given a pizza in the hall. The drinks and pizza were delivered promptly. What great service! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

I’ve travelled to all kinds of the world (also Italy), and this is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life! The right amount of gooey and crispy, I did go vegetarian (even though I’m not) and had a white, truffle pizza. The place was packed when I did ask if I could have a beer soon-ish, it arrived immediately, the wait for the pizza was not too long either 10 stars⭐️

We wanted to share a pizza with each of us, and that was no problem at all. They made it exactly as we requested, neatly divided and perfectly baked. It was nice to share something like that without compromising. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the staff was friendly.

All was good only there was a period after 1st 2 or 3 pizzas came to our table then I think it passed more than 45 mins to come 2nd round and next ones. Place is nice people also.

We enjoyed a dinner wit a group of 7. We had a nice rond table inside. It was very busy. We fitter just right it was not very roomy. The atmosphere was nice. A mixed audiëntie of groups, couples and families. The menu offeren a wide variety of pizza and pasta and We were with someone with gluten allergie and there was enough choice for her and they really paid attention to this. The dough of the pizza was very good. The toppunt okay but not great or ontspanning. There were many drinks to choose from als alcohol free cocktails. The staff was ok, not very personal or nice just delivering.

Big fan of Hout, I come here regularly. Best pizza I've ever had. Great new location now in Donna, too, just a stone's throw away for us, so it's easy to be tempted to come here more often.

In my opinion, the best pizza you can find in Eindhoven! After we moved from Italy, it was not easy to find a few places with a good quality pizza and this is on top of our list! It’s a nice and cozy restaurant, with friendly staff as well. The pizza is really authentic: you can find classic pizza or special ones, but all with great combinations of fresh ingredients. I read some reviews complaining about a “burned” crust. Maybe you are not used to real pizza, properly cooked in a wood-fired oven! On a frozen pizza or if you order one from the famous low-quality chains, you will never find a “burned” crust. But that’s simply the effect of a high temperature cooking, that will give you a tasty and soft dough!! :) If it’s just a little bit dark on the surface of the crust, you will never taste something burned… It’s way better to eat this kind of pizza just cooked, so I strongly recommend to eat in the restaurant, but if you take it away it’s a good idea to warm it up in the oven, or in a large pan with a lid for a few minutes. Not in a microwave, if you don’t want to kill the pizza ahah

Very good food, very nice calm atmosphere

The pizza here is absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and one of the best I’ve had in a while. The ambience is warm and welcoming, perfect for an office team outing. The only disappointment was that despite repeatedly asking for spicy oil, it was never brought to me, even though I noticed other people on my table receiving ii. It didn’t take away from the great taste of the pizza, but it did leave me feeling a bit overlooked. Overall, I’d still recommend this place for its fantastic food and atmosphere – just hope that if it limited, let guests know about it in advance.

Better to reserve in advance, but we were lucky to get a table without one. Waitresses are really nice. Food is good! Pizza dough is amazing ( skip salami on your pizza) trufles are really good and birra moretti is amazing :) really wirth a visit 😍

The pizza is very disappointing. The price is quite high, but the quality is really poor. If you're looking for authentic Italian pizza, you're better off going to Django's.

Based on the reviews, we had high expectations for this place. However, it turned out to be underwhelming. Don’t get me wrong, it's not bad, it's just like any other pizza restaurant with a wood-burning stove. Except here, you're paying more for a nicely finished interior. For the price, the pizzas don't have much going on, and the crust was quite burned. Outside of pizza, the menu doesn't offer much either. The service was confusing too, with different people serving us almost every time, and it even took two different servers before we could finally get a receipt. We'll be exploring other options next time.

Great place to be. Focaccia polpette, prosciutto, pizza diavola and the tiramisu are all great choices! Cappuccino is also recommended just for the cantuccini!

We decided to eat in Hout this afternoon where the new place is setup for opening. Early birds coming just in the afternoon, lucky to find a spot without reservation. The decoration is fancy with a beautiful garden, spacious interior. Ordered a salade and quadro fromaggi, again the taste was perfect. Especially the texture of the dough, the softness when chewing in the mouth is perfectly made. Ingredients were fresh and on quality. Highly recommended as best pizza place in the city!

Normally very positive about everything this restaurant has to offer. However, when I placed an order by phone today and, according to the website, drove to Torenallee 3, I was met with a closed door. I tried calling the same number six times, but unfortunately, there was no answer. At one point, it even went straight to voicemail. I ended up having to pick up my pizza elsewhere. When I finally got home, I checked again and suddenly saw that the address had changed. I'd like to change my review to the 5 stars this restaurant deserves, but this was just too unusual.

They are located in the edge of the center of Eindhoven but definately worth the walk. Delicious fresh made Napolitan-style pizza! Diavolo was a nice amount of spice, not too much. Tartuffo with salciccia rich with flavor. Also very delicious desserts! The service was quick and friendly.

Hout was a pleasant surprise. We went for pizza and left more than satisfied. I tried the Margherita and it was a real success: thin crust, well-baked, and with that flavor that transported me straight to Italy. My companion chose the Diabla, and although spicy food isn't my thing, he was delighted—he said it was delicious and had a unique touch. The most unusual thing: they give you scissors to cut the pizza! Practical and fun, definitely a memorable touch. To drink, I ordered an affogato (I confess I was hoping for something different), but I'm sure coffee fans will enjoy it very much. The service was excellent and the wait was minimal. An ideal place to enjoy a good pizza in a relaxed and personal atmosphere.

We had a fantastic evening at Hout Pizza! 🥰The pizzas were so good that we’re still thinking about them – we ordered the Special of the Month and the Diavola, and both were absolutely delicious. The dough was perfectly baked, the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor, and the balance of spice and toppings was spot-on. We also really enjoyed the wine and beer – both were high quality and complemented the meal beautifully. The atmosphere was calm, warm, and very inviting – perfect for a relaxed dinner. Delicious food! Customer unfriendly though, once on a hot day we sat down there to drink a fanta but we were not allowed to sit if we only drank something. The terrace was almost empty and we really promised to only want 1 drink. Unfortunately. We live on StrijpS ourselves but we don't go there anymore, purely because of the customer (un)friendliness. Too bad!

The best pizza in Eindhoven can be found here :) Personal favorite, the Burrata Mortadella pizza. Also great that they have multiple 'white pizzas' here. Also highly recommended for lunch. Inside you sit the coziest/nicest :)

I was there with a friend of mine on a Wednesday evening. Lovely weather so we went to the terrace. It was completely full, nice! Very nice terrace but when I walked to the toilet I saw that it is also very nice inside. Service very friendly, a pleasant English speaking boy who did a great job. My starter was delicious but so was my friend's. He had the vegetarian plate with among other things. cheese croquettes, olives and many types of cheese. That was actually for 2, I also gave some to take away, highly recommended. Pizzas very large, delicious crust but also the topping delicious. Dessert then I recommend the crispy dessert, that was delicious! They have Texels Blond, also great. Price quality ratio is fine and a nice, cozy ambiance. Recommended!!

Nice place and atmosphere, was completely full on a Thursday evening. Friendly (English speaking) staff. The mixed antipasti was tasty, pizzas were well baked and delicious, only a pity that the pizza tartufo hardly tasted like truffle. There really should have been more on it! Also tasty pinot grigio.

The size of the portions of the starters is very generous. That could be less, just like the price. The pizza base was delicious, really great. The topping (pizza Verdure) was ok. Chili was promised, but it was very (too) mild. In itself tasty, but also a bit flat, apart from the lack of peppers... had hoped for more. The flavors should stand out in Italian cuisine. Desert, on the other hand, was surprisingly small. A lemon sorbet with a drop of limoncello in a glass that is somewhere between a shot glass and a small wine glass. Suck on the straw 4 times and it was gone... Hmm. Quite tasty. All in all... Ok.

Hout has an interesting menu with Neapolitan specialties (such as arancini). The location is nice and cozy, the decor is nice. We visited Hout on a Wednesday around 7:00 PM. The food was fine but nothing really stood out or was well seasoned. For the prices you pay, you get little topping, which does not benefit the taste experience. The pizzas are easy to forget, the tomato sauce lacks flavor. The desserts were tasty. We sat on the terrace and they were already clearing up around us while we were still eating the main course. Chairs were already being placed against the tables. This gave us a rushed feeling and detracted from the atmosphere on the terrace. The experience and the food were fine, but I would not come back here again.

PIN ONLY More and more restaurants no longer accept cash and make the pin mandatory. This is also the case at Hout in Eindhoven. A restaurant is allowed to do this (unfortunately), but must communicate this clearly in advance and cannot get away with a sticker on a door, such as at Hout in Eindhoven. After a pleasant evening, people initially did not want to accept cash (notes smaller than 100), even though this is really legal tender. Upon request, the manager was called in, who then reported that she had to call the boss about this. The total bill was EUR 192. Eventually someone from the service (not the manager himself) came to tell me that it was okay "just this once". It is certainly not personal to the people in the service, who were all really friendly. It will be born from fear and that's a shame...

I have been there with my family to have a dinner. I have ordered burrato pizza but it came almost without cheese. İt supposed to be a burrato cheese at the middle with fresh basil which was completely look like cooked. But I appreciated that they provide a table even we did not make a reservation.
