Super duper good pizza. The best of Nepolitana style in NL. Unfortunately, Waitress forgot to order pizza in kitchen. After waiting 45 mins, we were told she does not remember order. Reordered but bad service. Lady at the front desk seems disappointed / disinterested to offer table.

Nice industrial atmosphere/look, just as it should be on Strijp S. Tasty food. Very friendly and pleasant service. I will definitely be back!

Excellent food and service as usual

I really like their pizzas and the fact that they have sufficient vegetarian pizza choices. The place never feels too packed and that is why we prefer it. I haven't tried anything else but I can imagine they are all delicious too. We haven't had any issues with the staff or the service. They are nice.

The pizzas are good but nothing special. There is a nice atmosphere inside. The staff speaks poor Dutch. On the expensive side for what you get.

The pizza's are really good, also a nice size for an adult. The desserts were less special, so therefore not 5 stars. Service was kind, but they unfortunately didn't (all) speak dutch and sometimes the wait felt longer than necessary.

Standard English is used, however, it takes a while before service arrives. The order takes longer than you are used to. The staff is friendly and experienced. Like many in this type of environment, there is a lot of noise inside, and given the forced higher prices, they could certainly improve their attention to customer care. And that means not asking more often if you want another drink just because you have to wait longer for your order.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service

They have really suuuuper delicious pizzas here and the homemade tiramisu is also so good omg. The coffee is also very tasty :) Plus, the staff are very sweet.

After discovering this Italian place in January, I couldn't get the Pizza Diavola out of my head, so I headed to Eindhoven for the long Ascension weekend. Skating at the Area and then pizza! Nice and relaxed for lunch and a delicious meal!

We had a good meal and the wait was short. The acoustics could be better; you can hear everything from the tables next to you.

The best pizza place in Eindhoven! We have been here several times and every time it is very tasty. The pizzas have a good base with a delicious crust. Personally, I also find the pizza cutting concept very convenient, so it's nice that they provide them with the pizza here. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a return visit!

Pizza was really amazing but for desert ordered the cookie with ice cream and instead of a real cookie it came with a ladyfingers biscuit which was really disappointing not only because I assumed it would be a delicious chocolate chip cookie that goes incredibly well with ice cream but because it was truly underwhelming in taste too. I recommend changing it in the menu to e biscuit instead of a cookie because it is misleading.

We had a lovely meal with friends. The service was very attentive, and the pizzas and tiramisu were delicious. We'll definitely be back!

A very big open space with delicious pizza and some unique flavors!

Let me start by saying that the food was really delicious. We had chosen the wrong amuse-bouche, but that is our own fault. It didn't affect the taste at all. We found the pizzas and spaghetti delicious. However, the biggest letdown was that we had reserved for 4 people. Upon arrival, we indicated that there were actually 5 of us. Our son's (14) girlfriend was able to join us after all. Normally that shouldn't be a problem, but the lady who greeted us made a big deal out of it. Especially, "Oh dear, that's going to be difficult... we have to check, everything is full... blah blah blah..." That may all be true, of course, but a good and warm welcome should surely be... "Oh, then we'll just add an extra chair." That is what eventually happened at a round table. But still, this makes a big difference to us. Unfortunately, this time in a negative sense. At the end, we were served by a blonde lady and she was bursting with enthusiasm and friendliness! If it had been like that from the start, this would be the best place on Strijp S for us, and we would recommend it to everyone. So, just how something small can make a big difference... Normally I don't really write reviews and such... but since I was reminded three times via email to write a -positive- review, here it is.

The food was fine, though the flavors could have been a bit more pronounced. The wait staff were all English-speaking. Not a disaster, but it does lack the typical Brabant coziness. As far as I'm concerned, the old location was nicer and cozier.

One of the waitresses was really hungover and we couldn't understand her. That was a mediocre part of the experience. The food, on the other hand, I found very good! The pizza was fantastic, and the risotto balls a delicious starter. Additionally, I am very pleased with the wine. In short: table staff could be better, but the kitchen does a very good job!

We went for a second time. This time the service was very friendly and service-oriented. Compliments to the gentleman who served us all evening with a big smile. The food was good, and the prawns as a starter were particularly exquisite! We enjoyed ourselves and had a pleasant evening. Thank you.

Really good and authentic pizza napolitana

All in all, everything was fine, but certainly nothing special. We were there for exactly an hour. We wanted to have an aperitif before dinner and indicated this when placing our order. Unfortunately, my pizza arrived 3 minutes after the aperitif, and my wife's salad didn't. After 10 minutes, we finally asked. She came back almost immediately and even added that it was already ready... In the end, when checking the bill at home, it turned out that it was incorrect as well and we had paid too much. In short, we were inside for an hour, and at least 3 or 4 things were really not right. It is starting to look like they cannot handle the success organizationally. In any case, we won't be going there again; there are much better choices in Eindhoven.

Wow, that dough! A Neapolitan-style pizza base is quite difficult to prepare, and they do it well here. Our pizza was served with a large, airy crust, and the accompanying scissors were handy for not cutting through the beautiful air bubbles. Well-topped with fior di latte, among other things, and no unnecessary frills. They also had nice appetizers on the menu, such as Ascolana olives filled with meat and then deep-fried. Friendly service. We will definitely be back!

Very friendly service and very good food

The atmosphere is amazing for dinner. Service very attentive at every moment. Food was good but it missed a little more of flavor, at least for the specials of the day. Overall a god experience, curious to try the regular menu!

Yeah, it's a shame that this place, which isn't even in the city center, speaks English. Not nice; I just want to be able to order in Dutch. Also, I think the prices are very high for what you get. The decor is really well done though, especially the bottle cabinet and the toilets.

The food is delicious. The service is truly terrible. I asked for new cutlery after the starter, and they just made a fuss about it?? After a lot of effort, I had to arrange this with the manager?? It is very strange that if I want an extra lemon with my sparkling water, that isn't allowed either. After asking for the third time, a manager is sent and it can be arranged. Overall, I miss the enthusiasm for serving people in this restaurant, which is a real shame because the atmosphere created in the restaurant is very nice and the food is very tasty. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this restaurant for a cozy evening with friends or a date. It seems like they anticipate that a table will be set three times a night… My previous review has been deleted; I have no idea why either?

Great pizza, amazing restaurant, i loved the new design and minimal vibe

We were three families had separate reservations but Hout was able to arrange and put us all together. Thank you! Food was great and kids loved it too. The atmosphere was casual which was perfect for us. We will definitely come back!

We enjoyed a delicious 3-course Easter lunch on Easter Sunday. Dishes that are not on the menu, which made it extra special. The lamb ragu was fantastic!!!! The atmosphere was top-notch as always. The wine complemented the amazing food. And the service was relaxed and friendly. It is definitely worth repeating and embracing something like this on other holidays as well.

Great pizza, even better Tiramisu

Since I was asked for my opinion via email for the second time now: I have been coming here so often over the years and the pizza is tasty. Last Sunday, I booked a table via the website and was seated at the bar by the receptionist. At first, I thought it was for a pre-dinner drink because I was a few minutes early. But unfortunately, it turned out that I was supposed to eat here as well. I politely explained that I thought I had booked a table and would prefer to take the food away. I’m more comfortable at home anyway. No explanation, no apologies, just made me pay for everything and gave me the pizza to take away. I don't consider that service.

We made a reservation at Hout. Since we were both coming from work, we were early. It was no problem at all. We were welcomed in a super friendly manner. We had a quick drink at the bar. As soon as a table was free, we could take a seat. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. The restaurant also looks very cozy and beautiful. We will definitely be back.

The food we ordered arrived after 1.5 hours.. If we ordered at home, it’d be delivered faster. The place wasn’t even crowded so they could use as an excuse..

We have tried more than 3 times this place and everytime the food takes more than 1 hour!!! That is very disappointing and not worth to wait. I wont come this place again and bot recommend to anyone. We are waiting for 3 pizza for more than 1 hour.

I can say that both the menu options and the preparations truly honor Italian cuisine. Very kind and available service, and beautiful new location. We will definitely come back!

The atmosphere is lovely and quiet as the room is large and high, perfect for a date as well as a family. The food is very good, I love that they sell themselves as a Neapolitan restaurant and the menu does it justice (most restaurants tend to invent too much and skip basics like marinara). Taste wise: incredible dough and great cheese. I want to praise the incredible guy that was serving us, the most delightful and caring service I have received! What a wonderful afternoon we had at Hout in Eindhoven. We had a lovely lunch with friends and ended up sitting at the table for almost four hours, which speaks volumes 😊 We started with a focaccia sandwich with tuna salad, and what a welcome surprise it was! Both the homemade focaccia and the tuna salad were truly outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. The focaccia with carpaccio and the one with burrata were also incredibly delicious; they're both highly recommended. After that, we had a delicious salami pizza, perfectly baked with a lovely thin crust and a good balance of flavors. And honestly, we ordered the tuna sandwich again; it was so good. To finish, we had dessert. It wasn't quite to our liking, but after we mentioned it to the staff, the matter was resolved very politely. We were offered a house tiramisu without any hesitation, and it was delicious. It was truly outstanding how they handled this. Special compliments to the man we believe was the manager. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, professional, and genuinely engaged with us. You immediately notice the difference when someone does their work with passion and attention, and that made our afternoon perfect. Conclusion A fantastic place with top-notch food, excellent service, and a team that knows how to give guests a wonderful afternoon. Thank you for the wonderful lunch, we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful meal! Delicious pizzas, lots of choices: the new location is a bit bigger, and the staff seems to be getting used to it too (because it's so spacious, they don't always see you, and they're suddenly a bit less attentive). We had a wonderful evening!

With all the rave reviews from friends and the hype surrounding Hout, I walked in with high expectations. The first impression is undoubtedly strong: a beautiful bar, plenty of space, good acoustics, and a staff that truly makes you feel welcome. So, it's all good there. The starter—the meatballs—was tasty and promising. But my quattro formaggi pizza was disappointing. The flavor was bland, and I barely tasted the cheeses that should have been on it. A shame, especially for a restaurant that prides itself on Neapolitan quality. Fortunately, the lasagna with ragù was delicious and well-seasoned. I definitely had a great evening, but to be honest: that was mainly due to the company. Hout is clearly a hype at the moment, but when it comes to pizza, I've had much better elsewhere. Final verdict: a respectable 7, but lacking the culinary wow factor.

Last weekend we enjoyed our late lunch at HOUT in Eindhoven. I had a fantastic glass of primitivo, and my wife also enjoyed a good glass of wine. We shared three dishes: focaccia with n'duja and charcoal butter, and wow, that charcoal butter is incredibly delicious! We also shared the arrancini al argu and the burrata. Plenty for a late lunch and absolutely delicious. We had to wait a bit longer to order, but the seating was great. Service was with a smile, and the quality of the food and drinks was truly exceptional. It was our first time at the new location in Strijp. We will definitely be back for pizza or drinks!

This restaurant is beautiful and everyone working there seems so happy and friendly. The pizzas are very good, served with scissors which is a fun and very practical idea. The kids spaghetti is served with a simple tomato sauce (in a kid friendly way, nothing to make a picky child unhappy) and still al dente, which was great for my daughter because that’s how I cook our pasta at home. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is truly lovely.

My friend highly recommended their pizza, and it's one of the few pizzerias their Italian colleagues eat at here, so it must be very authentic. The staff were also very friendly! The pizza crust was thin but chewy, really delicious! The olive oil garlic pasta had unique noodles, they seemed handmade, but the garlic flavor was barely noticeable, and it wasn't very salty either; the spiciness was more pronounced (I like spicy food). The shrimp we ordered were quite large, but they were also bland. I don't know if they're going for a healthy diet or if there was something wrong with the seasoning that day. 😆 The tiramisu was just average.

The eight of us had a great meal. Everything was served promptly, even though it wasn't always the same for others.

The pizza is nice, but very expensive for what you get. The pasta dish we ordered with olive oil was terrible. It was extremely spicy, had undercooked onions and excessive amounts of garlic. It lacked salt, and the only flavor you could taste was the spiciness. The tiramisu was excellent.

Really good and authentic Italian pizza. People working there are very nice as well. The only thing I found very expensive was the tart,€ 9.50 for a basic tart is too much in my opinion. I would visit again for a pizza.
