Excellent pub with various draft beers and some weird choices (who came up with the idea of mixing Dutch Jenever and German wheat beer plus other ingredients? Hubbel Mule if you must try...). :) Crowd blocked the whole street. Great choice of music when we went. So go at least once to check it out.

During our weekend in The Hague, we stumbled upon this cozy pub in the city center. They have good beer here, with a wide selection. The Erdinger on tap was delicious. Despite the crowds, the bar staff were very attentive and knowledgeable! It was incredibly busy and a bit loud, but the atmosphere was great.

A lovely Pub in Den Haag. The food was delicious. The waitress was very polite and friendly.

What an unexpectedly fun pub! A friendly atmosphere, cheerful staff, and busy but not too busy. Sometimes you have to watch out for flying darts, but that keeps the excitement going.

A fun and busy pub where we had a standing table outside during a bachelorette party. The meatballs and other snacks were delicious! We ordered several whisky platters to sample different whiskies, which was a lot of fun. Inside, it looked very cozy and busy as well.

Yeah no, Huppel de Pub is really one of those places where you accidentally hang around until closing time. Just good people, good atmosphere and absurdly good service. You're standing outside in the half-darkness with six people in the middle of the street on a Friday night, packed together like sardines, and yet the service knows exactly which special beer was whose and which receipt goes with it — as if they've done it before in a previous life. The beer menu is also very good by the way, lots of choice but none of that overly hip stuff. Just good beers, well tapped, and always something new to try. It's cozy inside, cozy outside. A regular spot when you're in The Hague.

The pub looks wonderful and has a great atmosphere. However, we unsuspectingly ordered an "Eiber de Baron" beer. I can honestly say I've never tasted such a disgusting beer. The bartender should have warned us. Unfortunately, we had to give up after three sips and leave the pub.

One of the better pubs in The Hague. Maybe even the best! With a very wide selection of beer and an even wider selection of whiskeys. The service is great, attentive, friendly and always with a smile, something that is not so common in the hospitality industry these days. This in combination with good music, you will have a great time here!!! A wonderful evening out......

We went to the pub with high expectations based on the Google reviews. And we weren't disappointed at all. Great service with friendly hosts, cozy atmosphere, nice clientele and good beer. Prices okay. Also fully booked to the last place on my Monday evening. Lots of regulars on site. Even as a tourist you feel well received. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service and nice atmosphere

Nice looking bar with lots of choices in drinks. Even 2 brands of lager (pils) to choose from. And even though not a big place big, there are waiters/waitresses which gives a premium feeling. Audience attending was open to conversations between strangers which was a big plus too.

Hands down one of the best bars in The Hague. Good music (if you're into stuff that's played by bands), good vibes, the staff are super solid and always look out for you. Good craft beers, nice snacks and more whiskey stacked up behind the bar than you can shake a stick at!

On a warm Saturday evening at the end of October we said goodbye to two friends who were moving abroad. It was super busy, even on the street. But the service was AMAZING. They delivered and collected, made jokes and remembered who ordered what. Really SUPER.

The pub offers a wide variety of beers and whiskeys. It is located in a narrow lane along with restaurants and other pubs. The service and the two owners are all very friendly and extremely attentive. The pub is very popular and you can spend really nice hours here in a cozy atmosphere. Nice audience. The best way to travel is by tram. There are small snacks, e.g. with cheese/sausage, or tortilla chips. However, full meals are not offered here. It's better to do this beforehand.

Stop after dinner not far from the pub, passing through The Hague during the Euro, to taste 2 different whiskeys. Great service and atmosphere, large choice of beers and especially whiskey (more than 150 references).

We spent an evening at Huppel The Pub and really loved the atmosphere and service. We enjoy drinking IPA and whiskey and loved the selection. The whiskey selection in particular is really good. Just a very cozy pub with super nice and attentive staff.

We visited three nights in a row on our recent trip to The Hague. Sunday night Levi was working, Monday night Marjolijn was. They each made the experience totally unforgettable! So warm, attentive and welcoming (and very helpful with choosing beer and jenever). Sadly Tuesday night, the barman created a vibe that was like a totally different bar. We left after just one round, but ended up next door at Café Momfer De Mol and had a great night there. We will certainly return to Huppel The Pub, though on a Sunday or Monday night! The amount we spent simply reflects how long we stayed the first two nights, not that the pub was pricey. Actually the prices are very fair.

Great pub that everyone should visit at some point. Sometimes the business is a bit too busy for me, but that seems to me to be the best luxury problem there is.

This place is a must visit if you are a whiskey lover and in den Haag. The whole ambience and the crew are brilliant. You can even have a small dart game with drinks!

Super pub, très bonne musique, très bon choix de bières, la Filou strong blond ou la bière maison la 'hupp ale 'sont parfaites. Les 'grignotages' sont maisons et efficaces. Le service sympa et très pro.

It's a café, so you shouldn't go here for food. Certainly for the service, atmosphere and attention. The drinks board is really great by the way. And they can tell you everything about what you drink. Not a standard cafe.

Afgelopen zaterdag weer eens met wat vrienden en vriendinnen geweest. Zoals altijd gezellig druk, maar nog wel kunnen zitten (een aantal van ons is 50+ 😉). Volop keus qua drankjes en de plank met hapjes was perfect: kaas, worst, gehaktballetjes enz. Erg lekker. Kortom: genoten. Ik ga er niet weer zo lang mee wachten om hier een biertje te pakken.
