My daughter ordered food on Boxing Day. The food was cold and the staff was rude. They certainly couldn't handle the crowds. It's a shame because we had heard this was the best Chinese in Enschede. But I think it's really bad that the food was cold and clearly sat in the kitchen too long before being packed. The lady on the phone was also very rude.

Christmas dinner. We spent 3.5 hours eating. The main course was cold because the side dishes were brought out half an hour late. The staff didn't understand Dutch. I was addressed as "you" (literally, "you"). I'm elderly and expect to be addressed as "you"). I've been going to Hu for 30 years, but I've never experienced such terrible service. I had to pay 307 euros. I expected something good for that. So my Christmas dinner was completely ruined. I'll never come here again.

My husband and I had a bad experience dining here today. In the beginning, it was good, until we had to wait for more than 30 minutes for extra rice. We asked a staff member for extra rice, she wrote it down and walked away. 20 minutes later, we asked the man (we think he's the manager there), he asked us did we finish our meal? We again asked for the extra rice, and he told us to wait a moment, then also no response after 15 minutes more. We had to wait too long and our appetite was gone. My husband must walk to the staff and ask once again for the extra rice. The waitress said she forgot. Finally we had it after 38 minutes, precisely. This is such a bad experience that we will not come back to this restaurant. At the start, the waitress already forgot my request of a cup of ice cubes. And then, staff forgot more. The staff offered us a free drink but we did not accept and just wanna go home. We used to have dinner at Hu's garden many times, even recommended to our friends. But today we really were disappointed.

We waited an hour and a half for our food, then we walked over to the staff and within 10 minutes it was there. Strange music.

Relaxed atmosphere, always a spot, often parking right in front, and the food is simply good. Always a pleasure to eat here.

For 15 people, menu B was delivered. Asked for less salt and vetsin. This was more than met. The food was delicious. What was particularly noticeable was the large amount of vegetables that were processed in the dishes. The group was very satisfied.

This time a disappointment! We had to wait a very long time for absolutely everything. In the end an Indonesian rice table for 2, but not with meat for 2. Because of the long waiting times we were in a deserted room at the end, while we were already there at 18.30. Too bad!

Beautiful (small) campsite situated between the pine trees. Very nice management. So definitely worth repeating!!! The area lends itself to cycling tours in the area. Be careful!!!! When it is dark, it is better to have a flashlight (phone) with you to find the (neat) shower building and then your own camping equipment.

Everything was lukewarm and tasteless...even the satay sauce was watery...70 euros further and only the tomato soup was reasonable and hot...

Not good. Indonesian rice table would include gado gado (salad) normally consists of green beans, egg, cucumber, tofu, etc. Received a container with warm bean sprouts and 3 pieces of leek in satay sauce. Sambal smother had zero spiciness, smother in curry was extremely tasteless, hard pieces of babi bangang, and the rest of the dishes were also tasteless. The thing is that I can't give 0 stars because otherwise I would have! Scandalous.

Nice meal. Chinese food at a slightly higher culinary level. We had the "snacks" menu. On the advice of the very friendly waiter, we did 5 instead of 6 courses. The best Chinese Food for years special dishes such as chilli beef, Chinese noodles with grilled vegetables. Sold by the founders 3 years ago and still delivering the same quality. Not cheap, but that is not the target group.

We had dinner at Hu‘s Garden - as I have symptomatic celiac disease I have to eat strictly gluten-free. I had no symptoms and the kitchen is very well informed - so I can recommend for celiacs. You get two menus when you arrive. A take away menu where allergens are highlighted and a menu for on-site dining where no allergens are highlighted, which was a little bit complicated because the dishes didn't quite match. What's really great is that there is a huge selection of gluten-free options - from vegetarian dishes to chicken, pork or beef. We shared two gluten-free dishes that were delicious. Very deliciously seasoned and even though the sauces looked the same, they tasted completely different. I have traveled a lot through Asia and the dishes were so authentic that I felt like I was going back there again while eating. Very highly recommended! They weren't sure if the shrimp chips were gluten-free, so I just didn't eat them. I decided on a main course that wasn't on the take away menu and was immediately offered to ask the chef if it was really gluten-free. the employees were very, very friendly! We had 1. Hong Shao Qiezi - Bebakken aubergine met knoflook in beansaus 2. Kong Po New ossenhaas in een zacht pikante chilisaus met cashewnoten We paid around 70€ for one starter, two mains and drinks, which is very fair for what we got.

Food was disappointing. Peanut sauce tasteless, babi ketjap not tasty, babi pangang very dry meat. Bami only a little bit of Leek as filling.

Ordered Mihoen with chicken and Nasi Rames yesterday (pickup). The noodles contained exactly 3 pieces of chicken and the nasi rames had a very vague taste, very vague. It was actually a very diluted sauce without much flavor. I think it also contained pork in addition to beef. Not recommended, the quality does not improve :-(

Placed an order for fried bananas, satay meat and normal noodles. The fried bananas are perfect. The noodles occasionally have a plastic-like taste, other than that they are fine. The satay meat is definitely not recommended. It's like they took a can of Spam, cut it into cubes and deep fried it. Dry, tough and a downright nasty taste. Leave the entire container of this, even hardly any satay that is served with it.

We called at 5 p.m. and were told that we could pick up the food at 6 p.m., but it turned out to be 7 p.m. and we had to wait here for at least an hour (!!!)… everyone who ordered had this problem, which was very bad. bad! If you can't handle the crowds, you shouldn't take orders.

Don't eat out at Christmas. Waited for hours until you got an appetizer, waited 2 to hours until you got your main course and skipped dessert because it all took too long. We had to drink after the bar, because we were never asked if it needed to be refilled. The rest of the spring roll and soup were tasty, but the meat was very oily.

Highly recommended! We come here every year out of family tradition and it is excellent Chinese food. The fish soup is so good, ans you will remember this forever. The chilly beef strips are one of a kind, and a real signature dish that i only have the pleasure to eat here.

Met een groep van 12 man hier echt heerlijk gegeten. We hebben het menu aan de gastheer over gelaten en die heeft ons verrast met een heerlijk voorafje, 6 super lekkere hoofdgerechten en koffie naar keuze als toetje. Gastheer is erg begaan met z’n gasten. We hebben een leuke lekkere avond gehad. Hu’s garden bedankt namens 12 man.

Nasi Rames besteld om aftehalen, alles is gemengt in een bak, dat hoort niet, overigens zijn de portie enorm (we hadden met z'n vieren met 1 of 2 bakken genoeg gehad), verder is het vlees wel van goede kwaliteit dus als je in het restaurant zal eten is het vast wel lekker. Afhalen niet aangeraden

Zoals altijd: SUPER! Hebben bij kantoor Voortman al een aantal keer het eten gehad, maar privé ook vanuit Oldenzaal er naar toe gegaan voor de afhaal. Echt kwaliteit die we bij Ying Ping ooit gewent waren. Die kwaliteit is er!!! Wel jammer dat het er zo donker binnen is.

Met de nieuwe eigenaren is er ook een andere manier van eten voorbereiden gekomen. Helaas niet in de goede richting. Na jarenlang de beste Chinees van Enschede zijn ze dat nu echt niet meer.

Eten was prima bereid. Echter naar onze smaak alles een tikkeltje te zoet waar een zoete saus bij is. Daarom 4 sterren. Verder alles prima voor een Chinees restaurant, die zich afficheert met boven het gemiddelde uit te stijgen. Personeel zeer behulpzaam en correct. Prijs prima, wii lusten een goed glas wijn, hetgeen extra kost. Menu was prima geprijsd voor wat werd geserveerd.

Het eren was goed de bediening super vriendelijk

Parkeren probleem, reserveren bijna noodzaak, entourage perfect, achtergrondmuziek opdringerig! Eten weer terug op top niveau, prijzen keurig in verhouding, keuze menu beperkt-ik snap de visie maar iets meer combi mogelijkheden zoals vroeger vond ik fijner. Te vaak vragen of t ok is aan tafel, beter op elkaar afstemmen.

Het eten was goed en de bediening was erg vriendelijk. We waren met 5 volwassenen en 2 kinderen, en hebben een menu voor 5 personen genomen. Daar deden ze niet moeilijk over, en qua hoeveelheid was dat prima. Het duurde wel wat lang voordat het bestelde eten werd geserveerd (en dat terwijl we op hun verzoek een half uurtje eerder waren gekomen dan we eigenlijk wilden). Kennelijk is zondagavond niet het beste tijdstip om bij Hu te gaan eten...

Heerlijk gegeten, ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, vijf gangen waarvan alles even smaakvol, perfect bereid en mooi gepresenteerd, daarbovenop nog super vriendelijk en vakkundig personeel, aanrader!

Heerlijk en gezellig gegeten. Fijne rustige sfeer, buitengewoon vriendelijke bediening en heerlijke gerechten. Wij hebben ons 5 gangen heerlijk laten verrassen op een heerlijk relaxed tempo … De 5 gerechtjes waren allemaal heerlijk … echt een aanrader om een keer lekker te gaan eten …

Aardige mensen en het eten is er goed

Met kerst hier wezen eten. We waren hier al heel lang niet meer geweest, geen idee waarom eigenlijk, want het is een heel goed restaurant. Bediening was vriendelijk en efficiënt. De Chinese rijsttafel voortreffelijk. Het Cha Sieuw gerecht hier is het beste welke ik ooit gehad heb. Inrichting is mooi. Niets te klagen eigenlijk. Wij gaan hier weer vaker naar toe....
